282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GB] $ GreenBacks $ ~ A Complete Currency & Infrastructure ~ on: December 20, 2014, 01:51:39 AM
any news from the new dev, is this a GB second coming, or not?

As for that, we're still working on transferring all developed assets.

I'm sorry, did you address the 100 BTC situation yet or your just slowly working your ass off this scam?

I was wondering where $50 000 (100 BTC at the time of your ICO) could have been invested in this project, because this is a lot of money....

If you can detailed your expenses to the investors you scammed that would be very appreciated. Thanks.

I agree, this looks like an act of dishonesty going on here, nothing new for this community, but I did have higher expectations for GB. Just another scam Sad

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] leonArdo - 0.5 BTC Introduction Offer!! - Graphical Trading Software on: December 12, 2014, 10:53:09 PM
I've been running leonArdo 24/7 for the last week and I just want to give a BIG thank you to Jonathan and the leonArdo team for making such a wonderful product. I had a few hiccups getting my latest version registered after I accidentally deleted my API key from btc-e, but support from Jonathan was first rate.

I've never used a trading bot before, and I've got a lot to learn, but my impressions of leonArdo are ALL good. Software is fast & stable, and the gui design is very slick. Overall I'm very happy, and having a lot of fun trading now (which I always found too time consuming previously to do on any serious level). Knowing that I have a few different bots setup working for me 24/7 is cool!

My only real suggestion is to maybe add a few 'power' tips on trading strategies and bot setup, like how many bots should you spread your funds over for the same trading pair, complementary settings between different bots to max profits, how far apart to set the ping-pong bid/ask - stuff to help novice traders like me get up to 'pro' standard as fast as possible.

Using leonArdo is easy, but I guess learning how to setup effective bots takes knowledge & experience, and some tips on strategies in this thread would be much appreciated!

TL,DR - leonArdo is a great product, support is excellent

Congratulations Cedric, coins received, good launch!

I know I busted your balls over the extension last week, but that's in the past now, and I wish you well over the coming months of dev work!!

So what is the starting coin supply?
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Stag! | Stagflation crypto based on NXT! | OPEN BETA! on: December 07, 2014, 06:04:50 AM
Every action ends with "Could not verify signature (server side)".

Oops, forgot about that in the big update. Fixed now. I also figured out what was going on with the nodes not connecting. I made a typo when adding their data to the database. It should be working well now.

Failed to connect

Same for me too
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: $XAI Sapience AIFX - Decentralized AI | EXT. LAST TIME 1 WEEK TIL 12/10 @ 23:59 on: December 04, 2014, 06:26:02 AM
So now there's three classes of stakeholders:
1- first week paid
2- second week paid
3- third week paid

So who gets the bonus? Seems like first week guys deserve more like 40%, second week 20%, the rest get no bonus .... but what a mess. You really took a large steaming  dump on your credibility, and so this whole project.

If you say 'cut-off details are ....' you need to stick to them, otherwise people get pissed off and call you out as a greedy lying scum bag.

@ dev

how much BTC exactly do you want ?

what if in this extension, only increasing slightly, do you need another extended again ?

There will not be another extension.

I've been conversing with so many people today all day long who were pleading for a little more time, so I made the call that I believe is right for both the project and the investors.  I apologize if that led to any disappointment for anyone.  But in the long run it provides a window for certain interested parties to get involved, and that will bring help on the publicity front that will benefit everyone after the crowd sale has closed.

Show evidence of these people or I want a refund. Your 'word' is not good at the moment. Who are these hordes of people who are happy with the extension. If they don't speak up, they don't exist, and you must be lying!!

Very disappointing, Dev is being greedy now! He posted 40 BTCs would be ideal, he gets 50 BTCs but yet extended for another week!
I'm just trying to please the most people, and give everyone who wants to participate the opportunity to do so.

Terrible decision!! So people have time to contact you and say they are interested, but need time to pay? I call bull shit, more people will be pissed off, and they're the ones who paid on time, like me!!

Refund options, what are they?
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Redemption ends on 22 November[Updates&Discussion] on: November 20, 2014, 05:47:35 AM
Is there any way to check that NXT token redemptions were received ok?
thanks
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Thread - Beta is here/Phase 2 Redemption begins[Updates&Discussion] on: October 22, 2014, 05:34:49 AM

But what if nemstake owner splits his stake in two part (different NXT accounts), redeems one part now and another part later?
I dont's see solution for it now Smiley It will be complicated for devs, I agree, but some clarification would be good. While we have approx. 3 weeks (correct me if I'm wrong), people still will trade Nemstake on AE, maybe making some profits if price go up Smiley

Also, need some clarification on whether we can send more than 2 NEM Stakes for redemption.  It would be nice to get a message from the receiver account stating that the nemstake was received (like a receipt)

I think we will be able to come up with some clarifications on both of this questions tomorrow.

It was clearly stated a while back that the 2 NEM maximum was dropped. What is the hesitation now???

Do you know a post where this was confirmed (2 NEM limit dropped from AE) by someone with authority in NEM?
thanks

My work as an analyst/statistician is not to please people but tell according to my understanding, what the possible scenarios are.

The superNET smells like a con, so there are the following possibilities:

A) It is a con.

B) It is not a con.

I did not even assess probabilities yet because I know so little about it. I am in talks with James over the issue, and I have not found any wrong in him. If you find wrong in me when I acknowledge the possibility that your project is a scam, well then..  Roll Eyes

What is the probability that the monero pumping in this thread has blown up in your face, your credibility as an impartial analyst/statistician is now being questioned, and your use of phrases like "The superNET smells like a con" makes impartial readers of this thread see you now as a desperate XMR bag holder who's losing his nerve?

Your conduct in this thread has lessened your reputation on this forum, and you are obviously not an impartial observer of XMR OR superNET, but a major backer of XMR, and someone who (mistakenly IMO) thinks he has a vested interest in seeing superNET and BBR fail.

Does that make you "smell" like a two-bit con man?

There is a 'possibility' I can consider, that you're trying to smear jl777 & superNET because you're scared you might have backed the wrong horse, and you're ego wont let you back down and accept the most reasonable explanation is jl777 & superNET are worthy of support.

IMO Monero is a good long term investment, and so is superNET. Both investments have risks attached, but neither of them is a scam. Anyone who attachs 'smells like a con' to either is pushing an agenda.

@rpietila, open your mind, invest and support XMR AND superNET! Both are high quality options.

Since the subscription is anonymous, and can be bought with BTCD, a coin that the same dev also controls, we have to keep the possibility in mind that the number of non-insiders participating may be very small, yet it looks like a great success.

Not wanting to label anyone a scammer without proof, but so far everything fits in a con also, so keep this in mind.

James has always been courteous to me, so it is difficult to continue reminding of this uncertain but probable and serious possibility.

WOW

I see you've resorted to spreading fud in your own thread.

Throw some mud, and a little bit might stick hey!

jl777 has coded the multigateway, NOT the work of a petty con artist!

jl777 also compensated people fully out of his own pocket after bluemeanie scammed over 1 million NXT. I know this as I was one of the people jl777 compensated from his own pocket. Even though the offender was bluemeanie, jl777 took responsibility as he had hired bluemeanie. All this is documented on this forum, and on nxtforum.org. jl777 IS NOT a scammer, but probably most honest developer in this community.

IMO You should apologise asap, and not damage your reputation further with these attempts at trying to muddy the waters over jl777. You will fail, jl777 only looks more honest and professional, and you look scared, freaked out, and too deep into monero for your own liking.

Take a break, and think rationally while you have time. jl777 only wants to work constructively with people. I know this from my own dealings with him. Monero is a good coin, and SuperNET is a good project too. Neither is controlled by any scammers that I can see.
