281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 24, 2017, 08:53:25 PM
I support at least delaying the release of the source for some time until the project matures. A few people might complain but let them.   NEM is mature technology and a top 5 coin though I would still not release the full source code, I would make other companies license and pay a fee to use the code.  I'm not sure how they are working out the Mijin project with Tech bureau, but a lot of the under the hood improvements are still being kept under wraps.  The reason there are 500 altcoins with 475 of them being more or less worthless clone coins is the open source concept. It's better for the blockchain technology as it continues to mature to have a few good closed or partially open source projects that cannot simply be cloned.  At the very least, the parts of the source code that make this coin unique from others should be kept as confidential.

Ripple is proof that a coin can become extremely valuable despite a negative perception by a number of people.

It should be open source, everything gets cloned but the original is always king.

There's tons of coins with cool innovations that are open source, open source leads to other developers ripping the code apart, experimenting and improving....

Open source everything...

100% agree with you, this is Dave fucken Wilkinson or whatever his real name is at it again.

To add to your post:

-No escrow as usual probably will add that it'll be optional.
-No whitepaper or any details to the tech, such bullshit copied pasted.
-ICO is using google docs...what's wrong Dave still too stupid to create a ICO website or having trouble out sourcing it again?
-Anonymous as usual, as bitpotus mentioned...bct account purchased.

THIS IS A SCAM! PLEASE DON'T SEND COINS TO THIS SCUMBAG.

Neg repped so new comers don't fall for this shit.

284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING -NEW ROADMAP on: May 21, 2017, 10:13:53 PM
Hi guys. Do you know any APP for following MNE? Blockfolio doesn't list it.

Noticed that too, I contacted them to add it but they don't add coins but exchanges. Livecoin is not on Blockfolio, they did say they will be adding that exchange soon to the app so we either have to wait or Minerium gets on an exchange they already have (Bittrex, cryptopia, yobit..etc).

I think that we should show Bittrex that we are a big community and want to get on the best exchange.

Probably tweet out to trex for addition and I guess if it gets alot of likes/retweets they'll take a look and consider it.

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 18, 2017, 08:26:29 PM
Sorry for being absent from the forum. There is a ton of stuff going on in the background right now and there just are not enough hours in the day at present to meet all the demands. Great things are happening and I promise to make a point to go over the last couple days posts and reply to what needs a reply, but that will happen tomorrow after I sleep.

Thank you for your understanding!

In the mean time, tonight we released some exciting news in the Slack.

We have decided that we cannot wait any longer for a new exchange (this has been on the table for several days actually) but when we got let down again yesterday by both C-CEX and Yobit, it was decided that we need to act. Programming is progressing very well, but we are still not ready for the likes of Bittrex or Polo. However, we feel that Cryptopia will be a very good fit for us at this stage because they are a smaller, professional exchange and have therefore decided to pay their registration fee and send in our application data.

In addition to this, we released a special surprise from the TO-DO List in the DESIGNS Department and so we now present you with our NEW and OFFICIAL XBY Coin Logo:

More design work is ongoing and we are confident you will be very happy when we are ready for our website launch.

Thank you all for your patience and understand as our; Developers, Division Managers and the XtraBYtes Community Board all work very hard to bring you what will become the most amazing success story EVER in the world of Crypto.

Sincerely,
The XtraBYtes Crew!!

Just wanted to let you know that XBY is getting a hammering on Yobit Exchange & Day-Traders are just killing it for their Self Short-Term Gains.

Addition of Cryptopia was a nice move indeed & I sincerely appreciate your efforts but unless & until we don't get listed on a Major Exchange like Bittrex, things won't really change a lot & for New-Comers, Traders & Investors the price going down everyday will kill their interest of investing into the XBY & also the Long-Term Holders will lose the trust & will try to short & panic dump & which I think is not good for any Coin which has the Great & Enormous Potential.

Just try your level best to get XBY listed on the Bittrex & it would not only move the price UP but would also sustain the price level without any major dumps & also we're likely to get much more Daily Trading Volume on Bittrex & in Crypto-Trading as you all know Volume is all that matters & XBY will really rock once it gets on there so just try to contact Bittrex Exchange & complete the Formalities.

Yobit, C-Cex, Nova & Cryptopia are Tier-3 Exchanges as far as I know & Bittrex & Livecoin are Tier-2 & Poloniex is a Tier-1 Exchange.

Bittrex is all we want & as far as I know Bittrex & Livecoin both requires 3 BTC Fees each to get your Coin listed on their Exchanges.

Would really love to hear from you on this.

Long-Live XBY! Long-Live XBY Dev. Team! Long-Live XBY Community! Cheers

Getting on bigger exchanges isn't the goal right now, not until POSign is running. Cryptopia was requested as yoshit and c-cex are shit exchanges and unreliable. We need another small exchange to actually trade and not worry withdrawals/deposits get disabled without notice.

Creating a Signed Message with Your Spendable Wallet

Note: Signed messages are 100% safe, there's no way someone can get your private key or steal your wallet. Search around or ask someone to confirm if you'd like.

*Click on File, then sign message.

1.Enter your XBY spendable address used for the static node you registered, if you are not sure which address you used. Go to the static node list: http://xtrabyte.me/nodes and find one of you static nodes (if you have several nodes), you will see your spendable address there. Ensure it's showing up in your wallet under "Receive coins" tab.

2. In the message box, enter slack nickname or bitcointalk username only if you are not on slack.

3. Once you have your XBY spendable address entered, your slack nickname entered in the message box. Click "Sign Message".

4. You will see the signature has been generated which means you have successfully signed a message.

Send the following for static node verification to CCrevolution via private message here OR to CCrevolution or CCNCCN or SMOKIM87 (you can PM me here too) on Slack.

Copy and paste your spendable wallet address from step2, your message text and finally the generated signature and send it in the following format

Spendable address:
Message: (If you followed step 2 it should be either your slack nickname or your bitcointalk username if you did not join XBY's slack yet)
Signature:

If all goes well this verifies you as a static holder and gain access to the static owner room discussion.

@Cryptonikus  No thank you!  I am way too ascared of that.  I wouldn't trust it.

Edit: I trust machines, not humans lol.  Automate Gov't 2020!

Your're on the right path.

Just bought $600 worth of BTC from him.. paid with PayPal a lot but worth it!

This scumbag is a scammer, spoke to sardasa and this guy reported the transaction on Paypal as unauthorized...

Looking back at this guy's post history and chat logs he spoke to with Sardasa, I am 100% sure this account was either purchased or hacked. This guys previous posts (awhile back) and the chat logs are completely different. Old posts have perfect English, chat logs he can barely type a proper sentence.

Careful with this one...
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [SRC] BACK TO EARTH - Alternate Reality Experience and Crowdfund on: May 16, 2017, 12:36:57 AM
Dev may have to do this =
https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-Bittrex

There seems to be another SRC in coinmarketcap, why not use STC for the ticker / coin trading symbol?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/securecoin/#charts

Terms as requested at bittrex =
Coin trading symbol - The ticker needs to be 3-5 letters and cannot contain any symbols or numbers.  Please verify that your preferred symbol is not already in use on our exchange or any other.  There are a number of services that track coin prices that require the symbols to be unique. Even if the symbol is not on our exchange anymore, we won't reuse it.  Consider your symbol carefully because we will not change it once it is set.

Agreed, coinmarketcap won't list it with the SRC ticket either.

Not sure but they haven't said anything about the ticker.

Right now we're focused on improving our testnet

Can we test your testnet ourselves, or is it private?

When do you intend to release the mainnet wallet and start the mainnet running?

293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: May 15, 2017, 05:39:24 PM
Why don't they have bounty program. Without bounty, I won't spend any single penny on this! Wink

lol that is the most illogical thing I've read today.

What I understood from your post is:

"I don't have a single penny to spend on this, I need a bounty program because I'm a bounty whore"

If this doesn't have any bounties going to invest much more then I planned to lol.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What ICO are you watching next? for me BAT, TEZOS and STATUS on: May 15, 2017, 05:27:03 PM
Tezos the only one I'm looking at. They actually have development and a github to prove it.

Sorry but I won't give projects my money with no product or development. Can't find a job? Start an ICO, become a CEO with 0 experience  Cheesy
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 15, 2017, 12:24:24 AM
Can someone tell me if there is a new wallet? I am stuck synching with connections and the blockchain isn't moving.

Thanks

Never mind I fixed it. Will we be able to add static nodes after a while? I wasn't able to get my node regisered before the 50K block. Can anyone clarify

Registration will open up again in the future for sure, just keep an eye out.

You can also ask in Xby's slack see if anyone is looking to sell you one, some people have several and might willing to sell you one if you don't want to wait.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] XtraBYtes - The Proof of Signature Blockchain Revolution on: May 14, 2017, 09:06:10 AM
“Once we get to the 50.000 block there will not be any more STaTiC (elite) nodes created. ”

Think this is not very reasonable, if after 50k can create it is better!

Because as the price increases, some people will cancel their nodes, the node will be less!

Then this time should give a chance for people who did not create a node!

It's not permanent from what I read, registration will open again off course.

I think locking in static nodes at block 50k to get things rolling and see how things turn out. Might cause issues if people are registering nodes while changes are happening.

Nothing is set in stone, got to remember this is a new idea so experimental as development progresses.

So he got away with it then. I wonder how many more he'll get away with.

yup benbtc or what ever the fuck this scumbag name is has been running scams for quite some time.

Zeth thread has been deleted and move to archives here. Zeth.tech has been bombarded with spam, he doesn't even know how to delete it.

I believe his new scam was Alenium...another bullshit project. Luckily we caught on early and warned people. Didn't work out and voila, he went inactive lol.

Sold my Zeth for a 50% cut but lucky to have sold. Already made back my losses so did get away easy with this one. Honestly quite embarrassed I fell for this, the fomo took over lol Cheesy
