I have this odd feeling that the DDoS on nicehash, virtually every x13 rig on betarigs being rented out, and the launch of this coin are related somehow.
Look at supernova pool, the top miner "Keepwalking123" seen that person mine in every coin that ninja launches (rox, cam, key, conceal and this one) all with almost +10GH every time all from nicehash. Possible he's behind it, he mines alot at nicehash and probably doesn't want people raising rates. |

There's a coin war going on and an exchange war, exchanges wanna be the first to add the newest coin to gain more traders, volume and popularity that bittrex has got from doing this. They really don't care if a coin is good or not as long as it brings them profits. |

So what is so special about this coin that it gets a nice high volume pump? IPO, PoW... not that interesting. ELI5?  Good dev, good idea, good vision, good marketing, good launch, good communication, good delivery of goals, good supportive community, good possibilities, good future. Good dev - how do you know this? The utility name is viacoin-cli, not bitcoin, but you didn't bother changing this error message. The makefile and testnet are another examples. It has nothing to do with function names. I was running/staking wallet 1.9.5.0 and I have downloaded the new 1.9.6.0 wallet for windows. when I try to run wallet 1.9.6 I get error message missing file LIBEAY32 in your computer and the wallet does not open???
Can somebody help me??

I have 64 bit windows 7 so can I install (Win32openSSL v1.0.1h light) or (Win64openSSL v1.0.1h light) I tried win 64 but did not work??? so should I try win 32?? Try both see which one works for you  |

No one cares about mintpal anymore, bittrex has passed it in volume ever since mintpal got hacked people have lost confidence. Might take time to restore it but at cryptsy when mintpal went big. History repeats itself, people are cautious ever since mt.gox. I think the big buyer in the ICO was pumping buying acquiring more via. Lets all be real here for a minute...... Everyone has a sell point. You can say till your blue in the face your going to hold a coin forever, but the truth is, you won't. I hold a large bag of cloak that I've been holding for quite some time. I also hold DRK and XC. I don't have any intention of selling soon, but I do have an out, so a day will come when I sell. There isn't any reason to bad talk other coins. Truth is we are all invested in cryptocurrency to make some money. If one coin fails it makes others look bad too. Look at VRC. Mint got hacked and we went almost a whole week without seeing any rise in value. Why you ask, because people got scared their coin could get hacked too. Bottom line is, if we weren't interested in making money we would all be trading carrots or something and calling them money!
+1 Yep. I have invested in every promising anon currency because I believe in the idea that people should have financial freedom without government intrusion. The problem with the world today is everyone is guilty of money laundering until proven innocent. Cash is the truest form of financial freedom and yet all of the alternatives up until cryptocurrency have been plagued with so much regulation. I look at the anon currencies as an attempt to replicate cash in digital form - no IDs needed, no tracking and no verification. Everyone thinks this is a hockey match and communities become toxic because they are rooting for the player and not the game. It's really sickening to see these fanboys from the other communities go around the internet bashing the competition instead of supporting them. If they applied that energy to something positive they might actually make something of themselves one day. +1 Now if we could just get a little teaser or something from our DEV team to keep the momentum going upward. I'm not asking anyone to give anything away that would cause a buy frenzy, but a little peak into the crystal ball would be nice. I believe in going up a little at a time, not a big spike. Again, we need to be giving new investors a reason to pick cloak. They need to see our DEV team working. Keep the posts about POSA and One Market from pages ago coming. If pages go stale and investors have to go fishing for good info, we won't see any upward momentum. You know these are real people and not robots, right? They have been working non-stop on this. Good things take time, so relax and give the devs some room to breathe. Hes getting frustrated, devs haven't been posting updates here. Alot of people visit this thread instead of the IRC. Some on twitter too. He must be in with a big chunk of cash and is getting worried wouldn't you? I do agree with posting updates on thread, most people in crypto like to see all news in one place which is here. Ninja launch that had the some of the largest pools onboard (dedicatedpool), where first blocks had the highest reward (500 coins per block). This hit bittrex with 12 hours (that I think was a record), a few minutes after being listed huge buy orders started to pour in (seeing 10-15 btc buy orders). Now look at the price, those buy orders made at atleast 5x their investment probably much more. Just can't see traders risking that much on a new coin that didn't have any updates or any features at the time or purchase. Maybe crypt maybe not, no proof but this is definitely made by someone that has past experience in developing an alt and probably launch some that failed. Devs come back with new coins fixing the mistakes they did with the old ones they had. No Rules so really the biggest amount of scams, fraud and theft are in cryptos. Good luck with this one, reminder to the small guys don't invest more than you can afford. |

Some risks do pay off pretty well and some not so much. At least if you sell in a loss it won't be that much you'll probably be lucky and breakeven. It depends on how much you spend on mining if your renting rigs from nicehash for example, when you started mining (at what difficulty) and how many coins were you able to mined with the amount of btc invested. Coins like these are risky, you got 8.5 million coins mined in 24 hours. That's the total supply of mined coins released in 24 hours, you got people mining hundreds of thousands which are going to dump to atleast make back their initial investment before anything else. So you should see the price at first be dumped quite abit, miners selling to cover mining costs. If this coin has something to offer than people will buy it and prices will start to go back up. The anonymous feature might be a help but until someone that knows how it works can tell us if its the real deal or just some fake concept prices won't jump. Its all a risk, seems everyone is willing to take. x11 algo at nicehash has drained the hashrate from other algos and prices have jumped from under 0.5 btc to over 1 btc per GH per day. Thats with the +100GH net hashrate on this coin. |
