Effort has put into this thread and that chart with both battbot and ryonmonster's posts as prices change sums up alot. Interesting to see battbot suddenly have "in life circumstances" when prices hit rock bottom.

Haven't seen a shred of your own opinion thus this isn't fud or trolling. A nice summary of events and facts posted by these guys.

Thank you, and thank you bitcointalk.org for maintaining records on all these devs.

The truth hurts sometimes...that's why sdc supporterss get on the extreme defensive side.

Remember guys sdersdf2 isn't Fuding/trolling anyone, he just posted past posts and FACTS...its up to the reader to come to their own conclusion.

Got my coins in my wallet and been opened for almost 9 hours but staking doesn't seem to have started yet. How do you your wallet is staking? The little icon at the bottom right corner for staking is not even there.

Wallet is unlocked, unencrypted so that's not the problem.

Am I missing something?
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RSU]█ ReserveShare █ FREE and FAIR distribution | First POR| UNIQUE Source on: August 24, 2014, 11:50:06 AM
@dev

Promoting reserve share in my sig, how much do I get for that if the 1000 shares aren't claimed?
How long do I have to have the link in my sig and do I message you that I did? Is there a list of people that have it in their signature?

Thanks
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project Pump legendary pumps are back! Bittrex 24th August 5PM EST / EDT on: August 24, 2014, 10:41:41 AM
guys i think its xcloudcoin! look at the buy sell orders its all ready set up to go high! Shocked

We can just guess, nothing more, but I never succeed on my guesses, I tried always
and everytime it was different coin. So it's very hard to guess because Bittrex add many coins .

Pumping good coins lol? Pumping ends in dumping to shit values. Bag holders created no whale wants to buy in with a swarm of bag holders at the top.

Pumps are usually with coins that haven't been pumped before or haven't seen a huge rise in prices...no big holders so there's barely any resistance as prices climb during a pump.

Wondering how long will it take until 99% of people here become bag holders...new comers aren't going to even want to step foot into alts.

Funny there's alot of wolf of wallstreet wannabees here and in twitter, its pathetic.
868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⟳ [CAPT] CAPTcoin - The best distributed PoS: 15,270 unique addresses in 29 days on: August 24, 2014, 10:17:59 AM
Just about 6 hr 15mins more for the reward to be halved haha.. Lets see what happens.

-Thanks-

Don't expect any big reaction to the halving of rewards. You'll have to wait until the the remaining coins that were not earned destroyed. Seeing the big mess that's going on in alts, people might hesitate to buy. Not until the millions of coins controlled by the dev in those wallets are completely destroyed.

Anyways whats the current supply at the moment? I mean total coins in circulation excluding 1 million wallets?
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⟳ [CAPT] CAPTcoin - The best distributed PoS: 15,270 unique addresses in 29 days on: August 24, 2014, 08:46:00 AM
need some explanations about difficulty please
@block 107456 explore.captcoin displayed Mining Difficulty 0.00024414
at the same time on the bottom right of my client says (107456 Blocks) "Current difficulty is 0.00535501"
which one is the correct one? and what drives the difficulty up & down.... number of nodes/clients on the network?
when the difficulty is getting higher, would the faster CPU beats the slower cpu in staking coins (in the long run)?
thanks...

Not sure but in the command line i get the 0.00024414 diff which is the right now, ignore the diff showing in the bottom right corner. Might be delayed in updating I guess.

Diff goes up when the number of coins staking increases, more people staking the more diff goes up. CPU strength doesn't have any affect to staking but only the amount of coins you have in your wallet.

I haven't been on in a few days. I thought the devs were working it out with Cloak. What has been going on here?

Alty goes on vacation and people panic. Wild speculations going on about either all devs or alty abandoning the coin. Yet, just two days ago Alty was present in IRC reassuring us that it is not the case. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Alty said that he'll be back in a couple more days. (No strict ETA tho, lol...)  Untill then, shall it become clear that he indeed has left the project, everything is nothing more but FUD Wink

hehe you must be new here in crypto. If dev goes missing in action (aka 'vacation') the coins dies in a week, this has happend to cloak now.
Doesn't matter if dev suddenly comes back after 2 or 3 weeks, damage has been done, whales move to other coins. Alot of cloak supporters/investors from the start are giving up.

There was no announcement on BCT, the timing was worsed possible, price tanking, team members leaving and failed audit.

Should have listened to my advise (and yourmother) and sell, you would also be on the sidelines now with btc and chilling out, can't you see the cloak train has derailed?

Cloak still has good buy support. If alty and joe can put this thing together and launch working Trustless anon and Onemarket, we are back in business.

bagholder

Im a bagholder but dont have much in it really. I got in early. real early. So Im still frosty.

My name is bangomatic, and I am a bagholder.  Grin

As soon as PoSA is working...investors will be hitting the panic buy button...

PoSA is gone buddy, wasn't so anonymous as they expected.POSA was hyped way too much way too early and even before they were sure it was anonymous and trustless they were advertising it was then they realized its not. Now that hype turned against them and prices dropped as fast as they went up.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Decentralized Market and PoSA on: August 24, 2014, 03:47:29 AM
I'd rather ride out librexcoin with bob and his pumpers

Good luck to you.  Just don't become one of the bitter crybabies if you get stuck on the wrong side of the dump as you'll only have yourself to blame.

That goes for every other coin out there buddy  Smiley
873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Decentralized Market and PoSA on: August 24, 2014, 03:46:01 AM
The amount of FUD being thrown at SDC by LXC trolls is ridiculous. Btw, honestly altcoinmessiah I don't really care about your investment advice. I don't think anyone here does either.

SDC/LXC have too many clones, NM, AXR>>>>etc, more on the way.
no group willing to pump a coin like that, no advantage.

pump group would like to hype coins with a unique innovation. or dev superior with good background

maybe got deleted as usual, no reason why ?! Grin Grin Grin

Those are SDC clones luckdag not LXC. Shadow won't be open sourcing anymore of their innovations due to the clones. They're working on a technology license for their innovations.

So tired of these CINNI/LXC trolls smearing a promising project like Shadow.

Interesting, the cloak community has left and split into 2 sides: 1 with Shadowcoin and another with Librexcoin. Even more interesting to see everyone that was once getting along quite well here are now fighting and throwing accusations at each other.

Haven't you guys realized its all about the money, no one gives a fuck about cryptos and development. Its about protecting their investment and making as much money as possible. If it wasn't about the money then I would expect to see alot of people fighting off trolling/FUD in every coin that doesn't deserve it but yet everyone only fights the coin they invested in. After cashing out the same people defending a coin stop trying to fend off trolls.

About the messages between Bob and MrBoh, you surprised Bob owns more than 10% of the total coins? He did with cloak and no one seemed to care...

You do realize that every coin there's always a few people that control the majority of the supply. Why don't I see comments about that in every other coin too?

Anyways seems cloak thread has turned into a battle ground for most people that backed cloak that moved onto other alts.

I wouldn't put too much trust in MrBoh and Bob to be honest, seems they were talking over an instant message app. Gives me the impression they are friends and MrBoh goes and posts that about Bob...not so much a friend it seems.

Anyways Shadow and LXC are both good until proven otherwise.

I'm not involved in Cloak anymore and I don't hold Cloak; However, I do still run www.cloaktalk.org forums. I will keep them up for the community here and if anyone wants to moderate it feel free to PM there.

The release of the audit update without a fix showed a complete lack of disregard for investors and displayed a lack of experience in the software industry. Whenever you release the results of an audit you always have to have a fix ready to implement. I broke a cardinal rule when investing heavy in Cloak: Only invest long-term if there is a technical founder, otherwise you are at the mercy of a project manager's experience. AFAIK there are no mods on the Cloak team in the IRC. I spoke to one of the supporting devs that had a conversation with x11joe via Skype and he isn't actively working on the project anymore. In addition, Mrgnome was the auditor for Cloak and is no longer with the project. This was a loss for Cloak because MrGnome has been here since the start contributing to the project.

I harbor no ill-will to any former or current Cloak holders. The community here was bar-none one of the best in crypto I have seen to-date. There is a split where some of the community went to LXC and while some went to SDC. The Cloak dumpers joined the LXC project, while the contributors in the Cloak community have joined SDC. Ultimately, it's your money so where you make your next investment will be is completely up to you. I joined Shadow because I believe in the project and it meets my criteria of long-term investment. The devs are all in-house, not hired out. I didn't invest in LXC because I didn't want to be involved in another pump and dump. I legitimately want to see a viable financial privacy solution reach the adoption phase.

My views on SDC and LXC:

LXC: Another project with a non-technical founder paying developers to realize his vision for crypto. I won't invest in another project like this ever again. Sinetek, one of the hired devs is a great dev, but I just won't invest in anything that doesn't have a technical founder. The LXC lead constantly deletes any posts that are responses to baseless accusations made from within their thread. He sent me this message when I responded to baseless accusation made against me. Another reason why I would never invest in this project.

Do not post in my LibrexCoin thread. as per BTCtalk forum rules. You will be reported and have to deal with BCT admins.

SDC: 3 full-time developers one of which is a seasoned cryptographer + 1 part-time dev. This makes SDC one of the only projects outside of Bitcoin and Bytecoin to have an in-house cryptographer. Ryno, the founder and lead dev is one of the most qualified developers in crypto. He was the lead developer for two different award-winning internet banking companies and has a deep knowledge of the traditional financial system.

Regarding MrBoh and Bob:

I've had good experiences with MrBoh and Bob; However, Bob's SDC smear campaign on Twitter is baseless. Quite a few people here blame Bob for the Cloak crash, so I'm not sure why anyone would want to go in heavy into a coin that he's in.

MrBoh, actively contributed to the Cloak project. He even paid for a VPN for the team with his own credit card. He helped out with promotions and testing, so I have nothing but nice things to say about him.

Anyone here knows the amount of time and effort I put into promoting Cloak. I believed in the project wholeheartedly so I have no reasons to lie to anyone here. I've taken my efforts over to Shadow and anyone here is more than welcome to come over. Also, if anyone wants to moderate www.cloaktalk.com just shoot me a PM there. I'll take care of any of the hosting costs for it.

Good luck to everyone here.

coolstoryteller  im on my way over to you cya there

Wouldn't worry too much, we know their names. If they do scam, report them to MIT Cheesy

I think a custom wallet design is needed. Kind wondering why this hasn't been done yet, would be cool to see a new theme where the background of the wallet glows like the Logo.

I'll throw in 500 LXC for the new wallet design.

Beware ShadowCoin (SDC), the developer is the same Rynomster disappeared "for family reasons" for Cinni leaving everyone in the lurch and the currency problems stake.
Enough of both DEV swindler who are killing trade in altcoins !!

Fact or rumor?

Edit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745352.msg8503440#msg8503440

He is just one Dev and it seems, that it`s not that big secret. Not that big deal.

Nah it's true, and he manipulated the Cinni community. I had little intention of buying Shadowcoin, most certainly not after having discovered this. To hell with Shadowcoin.

Here's a quote from Devcoder that sums it up pretty well:

Cinnicoin Trolls

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700087.msg8142514#msg8142514

"I was not the original developer of CinniCoin, I just built the encrypted messaging system. My team and I decided to create the ShadowCoin project so we would have the freedom to implement our innovations as we saw best."

-rynomster

CinniCoin code has many, many bugs. Rynomster fixed one of the major wallet based staking bugs, but many remain. Even Rat4 tried to fix cinnicoin code and was unable to fix all the bugs. As anyone that owned Cinni at the time knows, there was a major wallet based staking bug that Rynomster fixed with the release of EM (ask cinnicoin or Battbot). However just like when Rat4 "fixed" the cinni code, there are still a lot of bugs that remain in the cinnicoin code. You trolls need to remember that Rynomster was not the Cinnicoin dev and not paid to fix the staking issue, he fixed the one issue to help out the community. Maybe Rynomster left to implement his innovations on another coin BECAUSE the cinni code is garbage.

Bitmessage is VERY buggy, inconsistent, does not support rich text (last I checked) and is not instant messaging. The SDC messaging system is far superior to Bitmessage or the Cinni EM system. Use the SDC system and check the code before you comment.

It is time you give the man the respect he deserves. The EM and Stealth projects are open source, you can check for yourself that the code is original. Use the EM and stealth system, or the full feature staking android/iOS wallets and you will see they work flawlessly. Time for you trolls to respect a real developer and go back to your shit coins where there is actually something to FUD about.

Shadow dev is one of the best in crypto. He's delivered more in last 30 days than any coin before it - anon, em, ios, droid with more on the way. The community is bright and growing each day. I initially invested into Shadow as a hedge against Cloak, but after hanging out with the community there and speaking to the dev it became a no-brainer investment. I can vouch for Shadow being a legit project. I've personally spoken to the developer about the pros and cons of different protocols and he definitely knows his stuff.

We've got quite a few former Cloakheads over at Shadow. Feel free to join us in the IRC #Shadowcoin new btctalk thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=745352.0

Anyone thinking about investing in LXC, know that Bobsurplus and co own over 30% of the coin supply there. MrBoh tweeted this out a few days ago..

Block explorer seems to be offline, not loading for me here. Could you check it out please, also would be nice to see the rich list.

I was wondering I couldn't find the whitepaper for Librexsend anywhere, in the roadmap pdf it states that librexsend will be released by the end of August-early September. Whitepaper released in a week (in the roadmap pdf) not sure 1 week from what.

Could a little details be posted about librexsend.

Thanks.

Here is the block explorer w/richlist   https://chainz.cryptoid.info/lxc/

dev please update on OP.

He said in IRC last night that the LibrexSend whitepaper was being finished up and will be released very soon.

Thanks!

I like how bittrex addresses are labeled in the richlist. Surprised to see that I am in the top 15 in the richlist Cheesy

Any idea when the whitepaper will be posted here, will it be posted before Librexsend is released or when its released?

Thanks
