901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: August 19, 2014, 11:21:44 AM
So what's the updated final amount of coins?

I think 38,500*910 btc= 35,035,000

From coinsource: There are a maximum of 500,000,000 SJCX to be distributed overall.

does this mean as only 35million were distributed the rest get destroyed

No idea, just about to ask that lol, look at the post I made above yours Roll Eyes

i know that is where my concern is as if there are another 464million coins to come current price will drop like a stone

I think those earned when you use your harddrive space in the network. If storj works perfectly I think this coin could be the next big thing. Going to keep an eye on it, would probably share my hd space on the network and earn coins. I think coins are the currency people pay to store stuff on the network. So thinking how much 1 GB of cloud space costs and maybe figure out how much a coin might be worth when everything is up and running.

So phase 2 and 3 of the ICO are not going to happen since phase 1 didn't reach the target?

Did you guys get more than 38,500 coins/btc since the target wasn't met?
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XBM][*ICO 2 phases*][100% PoS][Anonymous][Encrypted Messaging][Web Wallet] on: August 19, 2014, 11:11:55 AM
you should simply talk to c-cex or bittrex to host your ICO

but others ipo have done it through c-cex and has worked fine. we have checkcoin with a 560btc ipo, i think its safe

Fuck that, no ICO on exchanges, one person scoops up 100 btc worth and just dumps it on everyone. On exchanges there's no limit to how much you can buy.

What are you going to use the ICO funds for?

If you want people to gain your trust please verify your identity from here: http://cryptoasian.com/ (do it ASAP, before ICO ends).

Could you forget about the anonymous transactions and stealth addresses? No one cares about anon transactions, its just a headache and a waste of time. You could be developing something more useful that we can actually use and need.
I will be working on more things in the future. This is just a start.
Will need funds for different development phases.

a) iOS wallet
b) Android wallet
c) Website development ( I am not a good website developer )
d) XBM ATMs for at least 5 big towns across Europe.
e) Promotions. Marketing isn't my good side.
f) Getting listed on bittrex costs 3BTC I've heard. I guess community would like to see XBM on that specific exchange, since it's one of the most professional exchanges I have seen.
g) Pay translation bounties
and much more. I have a lot of plans, just don't want to reveal them yet.
( As stated in the OP, I am working on ELECTRUM wallet. XBM will be compatible in the near future. How many coins do have ELECTRUM? )

What is that website? Why would I give my personal information to someone called "Crypto Asian"? No offense, I am not a racist nor I know that guy.
This is the internet. Do you know a lot of people sharing their personal information with "Crypto people"? I am not forcing anyone to buy ICO. It's all up to you. You can use escrow services.

Anonymity exist for a reason. That's why I give a anonymous coin, with encrypted messaging, so they don't have to provide their personal information. Hope you don't get me wrong.  I have been on the web for the last 20 years.
Also, anyone can get fake identities. Check the onion. ( Wont continue on how to obtain them. )

I believe in cryptography. Not in corrupted monetary systems.

edit

Just went through http://cryptoasian.com ..

I found some good news. CLOAK is doing even worse than DRK!

Haven't you been following the cloak news? Posa turned out be a dud...their lucky its not under a cent.

Unbelievable!  To think all the trolling they did here!  So did they make a simple mistake?  Was it pure incompetence?  Or just a total fucking scam?

Was never open sourced, still isn't, audited by an "anonymous entity", NEW protocol will be announced in a "month" I mean "week" (they changed it after price tanked).

Same devs as molecule, version, atom, shibe coins probably alot more we don't know about.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | DarkSend+ Is Live! on: August 18, 2014, 01:03:52 PM
All of crypto is down about $2bn in the last few weeks.

Trolls need to take responsibility for contributing to lowering of all crypto value, irrespective of this coin vs. that coin.

Haven't you noticed alot of people have left cryptos, soon we will leave too and the only ones left will be trolls fighting with each other.

fundamentals are rock solid

not panicking even if we drop below 0.001 - they can try and dump as much as they want....we are the only legit altcoin.

Denial stage...

Again this is what happened:

Quote
1. With bob you are first in line to collect coins and you know what price point to accumulate them at.
2. With bob you're not competing with 100s - 1000s of other guys in a 30 second panicked feeding frenzy window. Everything is organized and setup in a way where we're not all driving the price up for each other.
3. With bob you get his massive buy and sell walls that help drive the price down into those ranges.
3. With bob you know exactly when to exit, with a twitter pumper you have no clue.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LXC][LIBREXCOIN] STAKING MOBILE WALLET | X11 | 100% POS | No IPO | on: August 18, 2014, 12:03:59 PM

I feel sorry for anyone who was suckered by this and now add ccex on the list of fuckers to stay clear from.

You should be stripped of your hero member status for being so stupid and IDEALISTIC if you think that devs no matter who they are don't help other teams. I'll be sure to stay away from any coins you touch in case your ignorance and Crackpot Idealism rub off on them. Enjoy wallowing in your full retard lifestyle.

http://www.youareanidiot.org/

Then wait for c-cex and the dev to come back lol. Thats why that "hero member" will never be bagholding whilst you will. Welcome to cryptos!

So seeing those buys in the 5k range, wouldn't you still think this thing will go up over 10k?  15k?  I mean since Bob is involved, he's looking for maximum profit right?

Anyway, the buys/sells have been steady all night.  I'm still comfortable buying at current prices.

No - those are called Buy walls - they enable his followers (and himself) to sell you their coins for inflated prices because you THINK the coin has loads of buy support when infact it does not. You feel comfortable buying at these prices which is exactly the effect they are meant to give you.

Good luck man really, hope you make a few quid, but know the risks and know the players involved Smiley

Haven't realized yet buddy crypto_junkee is Bob? A pumper tactic, we mysteriously start seeing so many new accounts the usual "Long Time Lurker, first time poster" line in coins he pumps. Saw this in cloak at the beginning too.

I was fortunate enough to get out at 97K on the sinking Cloak Ship but still lost money to Bob - once bitten twice shy. Learn from it and people like him wont take money from us again.

do you hold LXC then ? have you invested in it?

ya

The audit that was promised on PoSA v1 was performed. It failed for not being immune to malicious nodes. We proposed a solution called Block Escrow, it failed the same audit for not being properly anonymous. We have a promising solution right now which has not yet failed the audit despite scrutiny, but after being burned from past mistakes we won’t be releasing technical diagrams of it until we have some consensus from auditors and developers – one week timeframe until release of such diagrams if we pass the audit on our new protocol.

Look for the audit results on our new protocol as well as a full technical description in the coming days. Expect continued news good or bad from the developers. We think Cloakcoin has a very exciting future of trustless anonymity among many other features.

We’re CloakStrong.

Magically changed from 1 month to 1 week?  Shocked
