Bitcoins created by satoshi nakamoto, which i believe is a group of HACKERS.
It took ~3+ years for bitcoin to gain value & trust.
Even though new coins are created daily, it can't get popular, coz the people who needs to make it popular are hackers, who in my view wont popularize it.
Governments, Corporate can create coins, but who to popularize it in internet?
Can they popularize it better than Bitcoins?

Gold became very popular for only one reason, its worn by many people.
Even though there are many precious metals, nothing can beat gold, as its already popularized.
Platinum, palladium, titanium....are also precious metals, but they popular as gold?
282  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.64 on: December 13, 2013, 06:47:39 AM

Suddenly everything vanished. Even though bt++ script is loaded, only mtgox ticker & chat box showing.
Even deleted & installed script again.
windows, chrome, tampermonkey 0.2.64

I am using windows 7, chrome with tampermonkey.
Toggle signature, Add note works perfectly until page refresh happen.
If page refreshed, then both dont work.
Only way to make it work is to EXIT chrome completely.

Also clicking add note shows a blue icon & clicking blue icon asks note to enter.
284  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: December 07, 2013, 05:27:42 PM
Still waiting for SEPA withdrawal to polish account. Request made 2013/10/22 (6 weeks ago) value: 423zł . Waiting for Support reply.
Mt.Gox: Situation as of 1st December 2013: We are currently processing withdrawals requested 3 weeks and 2 days ago
Reality:
  • Me: 6 weeks and 3 days and still nothing, just nothing. And no support reply for 4 days. (PLN) (SEPA)
  • BTCWorld: about 9 weeks (PLN) (SEPA)
  • Abracadaver: 3 weeks 3 days (EUR) (SEPA)
Why so different delays and why Mt.Gox is lying?
PLN is not SEPA.  SEPA is EUR only.  By definition.  Single Euro Payment Area.

It seems they are payment processors.

Bitcoin Exchanges are under increasing regulatory scrutiny. MatrixVision eases this pinch-point by helping exchanges integrate with the traditional banking system through ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
From a Bitcoin user perspective, this means that you’re able to fund your exchange account from your regular bank without worrying that a regulator will crack down and take your hard earned cash. Likewise, you’ll be able to receive funds into your bank account from the exchange without worry.

292  Local / India / Re: 100K a Coin? on: November 27, 2013, 10:48:23 AM
In my view 2000$ a coin will take some time.
The value of bitcoin needs to be stabilized so that it can be used as currency.
1000$ mark is both for profit & stability.
293  Local / India / Re: Litecoins on: November 26, 2013, 12:24:21 PM
14$
294  Local / India / Re: Litecoins on: November 25, 2013, 08:51:47 PM

Hey everybody, new here but known to bitcoins for more than a year now... been studying and trying to verify....
have seen them grow from nothing ... but still been wondering why it India is not catching bitcoin fever?
Indians already started using bitcoins, but only as commodity.
But many are subtle & not telling publicly.
Bitcoin is very useful for money laundering.

I simply now believe this is 100% manipulation and some one from BTCchina trading on Gox and Bitstamp is going to make huge sum... Huge sum  Grin

People of Gotham, Be careful today  Grin

Regards
Yes, its 100% manipulation only.
That's the way bitcoin price can be increased.
Make it costly & hard to get, then it attracts everyone. Same way gold, crude oil, diamond doing.
At least gold & crude oil has some functions, features..... but diamond, except its the hardest natural material available from earth, it doesn't have much properties.
Still many buying diamond jewelry, even though it has no resale value.

To reach 1000$ mark, miners are waiting for a long period. Only now it happening.

@buysellbitco.in, Yesterday night i try to buy from your site, but it said buying for today is over.
I tried again & it said business hours is 8 am to 5 pm.
make business hours 24/7 if you can watch market 24/7
