281  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: September 15, 2024, 04:31:26 PM
It's just to inform that Redotpay have their official announcement on the forum now create by Irfan - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5508072.0
It would be even better if they had their official representative here.

That means from now on you can talk there and ask questions related to RedotPay. It was an unofficial thread just to discuss each other and review RedotPay. It's better for us who have been using RedotPay since we can complain about our issues on the forum from today. So far I haven't faced any issues yet, and still I am using RedotPay.
Quite disappointingly, they have too large a list of restricted zones for a service that offers virtual cards. I understand if there are restrictions for physical cards because there are additional conditions. If the virtual card is no-KYC, it should not have such restrictions
282  Economy / Lending / Re: medium loan request. (4th) on: September 15, 2024, 04:22:59 PM
Unfortunately, my sig campaign that I participated in went into Pause today.
But in any case, I'm not using the money from the sig campaign to repay the loans.
If I may ask.
Why did you prematurely return the previous $200 loan, and then immediately after one day you ask for a new one? When you took that loan, you promised repayment during September, "any day". You decided to repay on the 14th (16 days before the last deadline), but a day later you asked for an almost identical amount.

Also, You started marking your loans with numbers, which seems like you are planning for a longer and larger number of loans. For the future, you should probably give some explanations for what you need the funds for.
283  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: September 15, 2024, 04:08:26 PM
It seems to be already solved:

Probably just some issue with the ETH node?
Yap, it's back to normal for me too. I guess it's a temporary problem.
284  Economy / Reputation / Re: Has this forum lose its value? on: September 15, 2024, 04:02:50 PM
OP, I am not sure that I can recognize how you connected the value of the forum with the fact that someone is selling accounts. At the same time, it is not an official account sale, it is probably a scammer and it is very questionable how he got to those accounts. If there are any at all.

Some time ago I tested an account seller, in fact, he is a fraudster who asks for money in advance by offering random accounts that he does not even have access to. I think there are several scam accusations on that topic. So this theory of yours doesn't have much basis, especially not until the sale of accounts is strictly prohibited by the administration.
285  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: September 15, 2024, 03:52:04 PM
What is happening here, there is a warning that 'Issues present'.
I did not manage to find any dysfunctionality in the work of exch.

In the system status, the last thing we have is a notification about a Heavy DDoS attack from August 9.

09-08-2024 Heavy DDoS attack
There is an ongoing DDoS attack targeting our clearnet servers and Tor backend performed by the "Infinity Exchanger" operators. Expect some access issues till the threat actor stops.
286  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The Change Ltd automatic Cryptocurrency Exchange | ≈$21K Escrow on: September 15, 2024, 03:15:50 PM
Why is this happening to me? So on several different browsers (Chrome, Firefox), after a few minutes and a simple page refresh, everything returned to normal. Also, on another internet provider, after a bit longer loading, the site opened.
it seemed like some kind of site overload

287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Indodax, an Indonesian exchange has been hacked on: September 15, 2024, 03:11:09 PM
Again and again we are seeing the names of "Tornado Cash" and "Lazarus group" come up.

Is it possible that every hack comes from the Lazarus group or is that the easiest explanation? It has been known about them for years, many services have been closed because coins are linked to their addresses. Are the investigators and those who deal with Lazarus so incompetent?

It seems that it's the known exchange in the country. $22M in losses is sure a lot of money.
Indodax exchange losses are not that big compared to other exchanges.
It's still a lot of money, it's little consolation to them that there are cases with a bigger loss.
288  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for projects to offer my services for free on: September 15, 2024, 12:20:50 PM
These were my sentiments too. Looking for paid work would have been the appropriate step for the OP simply because of the details he claimed in his bio. The offer his services for free under rationale of trying to increase experience and connections (so as to learn more) seems as though he is selling himself extremely short on the basis of his bio.
Most often, I see companies looking for young workers with a lot of experience. Quite contradictory, isn't it?
I don't see anything wrong if someone wants to gain experience for a future portfolio and at the same time offers his services for free. Given that the OP also accepts work on shit meme coins, his previous experience may be related to some failed 'projects' that are not really for presenting himself as a part of it.
289  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Wallet & Malware Bytes on: September 15, 2024, 11:56:26 AM
Recently received these alerts from Malware Bytes while Electrum was running... any ideas?

blither.io is the only domain on this IP address (428 days old) Through a short search, the term "blither io" is associated with online gaming, maybe that's the reason why the domain is blacklisted by Malware Bytes.
290  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ANN] RedotPay: Spend Crypto Like Fiat – Virtual & Physical Cards Available! on: September 15, 2024, 11:26:32 AM
Many thread especially in gambling board are having their own referral links in the first post, yet the moderators didn't delete the thread. They also didn't mention if their thread contain referral links too.
Many posts have been deleted due to referral links. I don't know about gambling, maybe that's one of the reasons why many members consider the gambling section on the forum to be a spam fest.

Approving referral links in posts could drag the forum in a completely different direction.

Read this.

However, if you are using the forum as a publishing platform to host something really substantial and useful, selling ads in that substantial work is allowed. To be eligible for this, your post must be in a topic that you started, and your post must be substantial and long enough to make the ad seem entirely insignificant. If in doubt, ask me.
Ads and referral links are not the same thing.
I've seen similar situations before, but it was emphasized that it was a referral link, and right next to it there was an option without ref. code.
291  Other / Meta / Re: Why does merits source takes time to be approved? on: September 15, 2024, 10:42:35 AM
Nowadays applications are ignored for years, even though they follow the required format. A "yes" or "no" would be good.
Either the status will be or there will be no need for a merit source in the next xx period. If 'yes' to specify which boards will have priority, it would be very easy to end the matter.

and I don't want to spend even more time "looking for good posts".
That is why I would not apply for merit source status. An additional ungrateful duty.

292  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitMixList.org - Bitcoin Mixer List on: September 14, 2024, 12:39:15 PM
I have no clue what's going on. It doesn't look like resources are exhausted.

There are onion hosting services on the darknet, but they are 3x more expensive than what I currently use.
I was more curious about how many people actually use Tor for informational sites like yours. You already spend a certain amount of time and resources on maintaining the onion page, I assume that the number of visits is not minor.

On the clearnet website you have onion official links to each service (at least those that have them), so copy/paste links is not a big problem if someone wants to switch to onion when using the service.
293  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ANN] Cypherock X1 - Hardware based Wallet Aggregator for your Crypto on: September 14, 2024, 12:32:52 PM
You are free to use it and verify with your own eyes what is written in the code base. Anyone can share their feedback with the developers if they want to, regardless if the code is open-source or not.
It should also be viewed through the eyes of non-technical users, who cannot do any verification themselves, but accept verification through any means. There are more and more people who look at the hardware wallet as just another device, refrigerator, TV, router... I would not ignore the number of those who will buy HW in a random shop, sometimes only on the basis of physical appearance.

You've been on this forum for a long time, I'm surprised that you ignored the rule about not posting referral links.
I have nothing against it, but that rule exists for a reason and should be followed. You should have at least emphasized that some links contain a reff link, although I am not sure that this is under the rules.

4. No referral code (ref link) spam. [1]

296  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MasHash - Cloud Mining or Ponzi scheme. on: September 13, 2024, 02:37:22 PM
I already told albon that its done by unknownly. Really I did not know before this.
You received several warnings that you ignored with the excuse that you were only paid for that post. Now it's your account red-tagged, I guess that earned money was worth that much.

I peeked at their thread history, and I think they has a tendency to accept any project, regardless of their future prospect. Those typical bounty manager who facilitate questionable "ICO" and all. Albon was tagging them with neutral and they're in his radar now, so I believe he'll pay a close look at their next project.

With that in hand, I'm quite eased, knowing that he'll dilligently report the next questionable [with basis] project they promoted.
He didn't even try to learn, nor will he pay more attention next time. If he was ready for something like that, it wouldn't have come to this. From now on it will be even easier for him, he has deleted his reputation (if he had one) and he doesn't have to worry about it.
297  Economy / Services / Re: Remove Reddit posts/Comments, BAN any reddit Account on: September 13, 2024, 02:19:06 PM
You can also offer a vouch coming from a reputable members of this forum to test if your offer is indeed legit until you can prove that then it casts a shadow of doubts on your service.
I'm not sure that any reputable positively member will agree to target a random Reddit user. It is wrong and dishonourable, why would anyone do that at all?
The OP should be negatively tagged and his offer removed from this forum.
298  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Trade NOW using MyCoinChange on: September 13, 2024, 02:08:52 PM
Metamask will not lift the restriction and unwilling to work with out team. https://github.com Metamask branch references the posts on this forum for the block.
If you requested Metamask to remove the warning from your site, and they refused, we should all trust them more. Why would anyone take the risk of using your site?
Ultimately, it's just another intermediary with the Changenow API, so you don't offer anything new or special worth paying attention to.
299  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitMixList.org - Bitcoin Mixer List on: September 13, 2024, 01:53:37 PM
Note: For some reason the Tor service on the onion host keeps freezing, and it only works properly after the service is restarted. I'm currently looking into this. For now, the onionsite is not working (again)

Edit: Maybe it's because of compression bombs in the Tor relay. Still not entirely sure what the root cause is, although the onionsite is working now.
If it's not a secret, in what percentage is your TOR site used compared to the same on clearnet?
I'm more curious how many users prefer Tor, I guess crypto people use it more compared to some other niches on the internet.
300  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: September 13, 2024, 01:48:39 PM
It is unbelievable that someone claims that over 4000 BTC was stolen, but that no one has concrete evidence for this and that there is no official investigation, while at the same time everyone who received the transaction from the disputed address is asked to freeze these funds...

If the services would stop freezing coins even with the smallest excuses, there would probably be fewer dramas like this. Of course, this goes together with all AML checks, it has never been easier to mark some coins as tainted.
