281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH = Game Over on: June 26, 2016, 05:32:57 PM
do you believe the price will rise after the fork, or it will rmeain as it is in this moment? the price recovered quite a bit, but it still no where near its prime, i'm not sure if it is wise to keep my etheruem or dump it now

OP Why game over? See the chart and you can see how Ethereum price has been increased, it was 0.02145 and it was increase to 0.02322 which is an increase of +8%. If an investment of 10BTC was made then within 2 hours during the pump the profit would be 0.8BTC.

Hey

can somebody tell me a good altcoin exchange?

It should :
be very secure (never hacked)
be fast depositing and withdrawing
not demand a ton of verifications like selfies with ID or so

thanks

For fast deposits (bitcoin) is poloniex which needs only one confirmation and you bitcoins is added in your balance, Yobit needs two confirmation for deposit but is faster in withdrawing comparing with poloniex. I have also used c-cex, bitrrex and other altcoin exchanges but didn't liked them.
283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What really happens on halving? on: June 26, 2016, 05:15:55 PM
Could you explain what really happens on halving. How one gets profit on this day. How the BTC is used on this day to see more profit. Whom should be approached to do so?

It is not guaranteed that you will get profit immediately at the halving day because nobody knows what will happen exactly. Mostly who will be affected are the miners because their earnings will be cut in half.
284  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Post-halving - Will miners still operate? on: June 26, 2016, 05:00:53 PM
I predict a decline in mining and pools shutting down one-by-one. Possibly, the difficulty will reduce.

What do you think will happen to the miners after halving?

They have no other choice rather than continue operating because there is always a hope that the bitcoin price will be increased so there will be still a profit for them. The price now i think is not bad for miners because there were mining also when the price was @200s so why not at $600 or $800s
don't think so,they have many choice especially on mining altcoin,it's all depend on the miners and their environtment such as the electricity cost or anything related to this

If miners will stop then it will be a big issue for the bitcoin network/community because the there will be lots of unconfirmed transaction, delayed transaction etc. But i think that they will continue (not all of them) but they will still mine bitcoin. The price can't be doubled immediately but gradually they will still have profit.
Yeah i think they will still continue if more miners are stopping mining bitcoin i think they will notice that the difficulty are reduce and new miners will come.
And i think bitmain will make a new way to increase the hashrate speed of new releasing asic miners. but for now increasing voltage of asic still can be happen if they release s10..

Many of them will be disappointed and maybe we will see a decrease on the diffficulty because the old miner rigs will not be anymore profitable so people will leave mining or move to the latest release of the mining rigs like S7, S9(14TH).
285  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashocean Scammed on: June 26, 2016, 04:44:18 PM
When trying to load hashocean.com, it now opens up a default page from domain.
I think it is the end of hashocean. What do you guys think ?

Seems that they have scammed lost of users, they have also deleted their youtube videos and their facebook page but to be updated what is happening please check this thread where is being discussed about hashocean https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1527550.0
286  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean disapeared and scammed 700,000 users ? ! on: June 26, 2016, 04:37:12 PM
Dear Miner,
Sorry for inconvenience. Last night we got attacked by hacker which somehow can access our domain and posted our domain for sale. Now, we already take anything under our control and nothing affected our mining operation. Daily payout will be executed as usual.
Happy Mining!
Team HashOcean

I think that this was expected to happen because of the halving and i don't know how they deleted the youtube videos and the facebook page, i think that it has nothing to do with the hackers but they want to exit scam, OmegaStarScream made a thread to withdraw any money from these kind of websites.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: June 26, 2016, 04:30:59 PM
I don't know who can sell everything even now, always better to save something on rainy day it's basics of life  Grin Will not sell my coins anyway till price reach $700

$700 will reach just in a few days, but I think we have to wait for the halving and at that time the price will increase to a higher value and at that tme you have to sell them.

It can be reached today because it is only a $20 difference. About the topic i think that it is not the right moment to sell everything for bitcoin. I would not risk so much because as we saw in the recent days the bitcoin price can crash suddenly. It is not a bad time to invest now in bitcoin but before few days it was better.

Yeah price was good to buy few days back, but now price is going  up, so we should not sell coins now as it will be much higher at the  time of halving.

It is a time that it is risky to sell and is risky to buy even though the halving is very near(few weeks remaining), so i prefer more to not do anything and hold them for a while maybe until after the halving or until the end of this year because i hope people will not sell their coins less than $1k.
Yeah right both are risky to do right now.. but you can make a profit if you don't buy So i think its better to buy bitcoins right now because the price will increase more  this nearly block halving. and i think we will see the price will hit in 800 value before block halving..

If you don't buy then how can you make profit from nothing!? I think that the time to buy is always but this time don't know things are not going well, the halving is not taking this effect now as we expected to happen but let's hope later.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: June 26, 2016, 04:21:51 PM
I would hold or sell, as the price is high and may hit the 750 mark again with the fears relating to Brexit.
i think the price will soon hit such number as the halving is incoming and the brexit will soon happen

i think i would buy right now if i were in your shoes because i have a feeling that the price is going to grow really soon

Time to buy is always so why not buying when the price crashed many time in a short period of time, the halving is near but i have a feeling that nothing will happen to the bitcoin price, the halving effect will be seen later this year.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price predictions for after the halving on: June 25, 2016, 03:29:25 PM
I want to hear what everyone thinks the price will be after the halving happening in the next few weeks. I'm predicting at least a $1200 Bitcoin by the end of July. Thoughts?

There is a thread where a member gives away 0.01BTC or 0.02BTC if you predict the exact or the nearest price for 1 july but i think that your prediction about bitcoin at the end of July is high. I think that the price will be around $750-$800, until the end of next month i think that we will see panic buying then panic selling.

291  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can i mine cryptocurrencies with a low internet connection? on: June 25, 2016, 03:25:34 PM
I am from Egypt and the internet is really bad here...

I have 2 mb/s internet connection and i am willing to start mining soon with ASIC

Will the 2 mb/s be enough?

do i even need high speed internet for mining?

You can have the internet speed 20mbps but unless you have a stability internet connection then it is useless. I think that you can mine with your actual internet speed, but just be sure that you do not have lag when connecting to websites or while mining because once the connection is lost then you will lose what you mine for a small period of time.

293  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: June 25, 2016, 03:17:34 PM
Recently i had a situation that i didn't had enough money to pay to the Taxi and I had only my phone with myself and my bitcoin wallet and was wondering how can i pay to the taxi with bitcoin, and this is what I would like to buy in the near future with my bitcoin. Maybe i can leave him a paper wallet with x amount of bitcoin but nobody knows how to use bitcoin around me.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: June 25, 2016, 03:14:23 PM
We can never say never because bitcoin price is such unstable that we can see many surprises (bad and good) but seeing the actual price of bitcoin we can see that your target of $700 is very near, last time that i checked bitcoin price was $680 so a difference of $20 is easy to achieve.
295  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: My Faucets List web v1.0 - on: June 25, 2016, 03:12:04 PM
Hii! with a friend we create a website that we updated and growing ! the purpose is facilitate more things to use faucets for satoshis Smiley
The web is a faucets list that is updated daily, reporting timers rewards and mainly having the option to sort from lowest to highest reward, timer, etc!
----> http://Http://faucets4all.freetzi.com/ <----
Also, i have some screenshots

Please update your url because it gives me a bad url link "This site can’t be reached http’s server DNS address could not be found." About your faucet website i think it is good, what i like most is that users are able to sort the faucet list based on time waiting and based on the reward that they give to them.

297  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would u still use Bitcoin if u were a USD multi millionaire? on: June 25, 2016, 03:06:10 PM
If u were a USD multimillionaire, say right now, immediately, would u still use Bitcoin or would u ignore it?

What would u do? What would ur plans be?

~CfA~

If i would be a multi millionaire i would continue using bitcoin, espeically i would invest much more in bitcoin and increase the usability around my city and in my country. Bitcoin sometimes cannot be replaced with paypal or credit card and not all merchant accept those and the only way sometimes is using bitcoin.
298  Economy / Speculation / Re: British exit from the European Union How is this going to effect Bitcoin on: June 25, 2016, 03:03:52 PM
I see its already effecting bitcoin its up 88 dollars , wait till Monday when the stock markets crash

I think that the british exit from European Union was a positive thing for bitcoin, you can see the chart how went from red to green and it has been increased now up to $680. The british pound will decrease its value so it will or is affecting also other currencies but not bitcoin, until now i think it increased the price for a hundred dollar.

300  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaigns: Worth The Time? on: June 25, 2016, 10:18:34 AM
Sometimes it worth sometimes it does not worth if you have a better work in real life or you can do anything else which can bring profit more than signatures, but in generally it worth for people that have a lower life standard and does not worth for people living in rich countries.
