281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest in BTC or MicroStrategy MSTR? on: March 20, 2024, 06:51:13 PM
If I have the same amount to choose from between bitcoin vs Micro strategy as assets, then I will definitely choose freedom over third party because with bitcoin I will have the total control over my money and investment, and can easily move it around, if the CEO can be holding such a large amount in bitcoin, it become obviously clear that we shouldn't be mislead into choosing what he have left for what we have at hand

Investing in bitcoin is much more easier than investing in any company share, and for the other factors such as taxation and other physical factor's that can eat up your investment,  so I will choose bitcoin over any form of investment no matter what the background of the company is even though the have background experience in investment.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: March 20, 2024, 06:22:18 PM
Just trying to get the communities opinion based on their experience about the topic.

Personally, a a bettor, I find it very stressful when watching the game you are betting especially if it will end up a losing bet.

If we have the same experience, how do you cope up with that problem, after all, gambling should be fun but why we have this kind of feeling that we feel disappointed when our bet loses?
Losing make betting hurtful, and for that it takes away the joy of it, so for sure when I watch the match without staking on them male me more relaxed to enjoy the match and since football is all about entertainment since we are nit physically involved in the pitch activities but just spectators it males more sense to only watch instead putting myself at risk betting and watching the game as well.

Betting suck at times and for sure if I bet on a game, I rather just go away from screen and then take a look at frequent to see records of the matches.

284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 19, 2024, 09:31:07 PM
Well, maybe currently people's reactions to the victory that Man United achieved against Liverpool in the FA Cup seem exaggerated. But I also understand this because no one expected that Man United, who was inconsistent in the Premier League, could play impressively in the FA Cup and beat Liverpool. And actually in this match both teams played equally well. Even the number of shots on goal both have the same number. So it's natural that many people comment on this. All I can say for this match is great appreciation for Ten Hag's troops. But the real test for Man United may be if they qualify for the final and in the Final they have to face Man City. But it would be a double surprise if it turned out that it was Chelsea and not Man City who qualified.  Grin
Remember the match in the FA Cup final with Chelsea, there was also a very difficult game in which it was difficult to determine who deserved to win. When it comes to playoff matches, the team can play with full dedication, and I think that Manchester United were just more fortunate in that match, that’s all. Let's look at their further results in the Premier League, but something tells me that we will have quite a few matches when Manchester United will lose points.
Manchester United have become more confident in the FA league in this season and from their results in the last couple of games it has shown a more positive result and motivation toward the rest of the leagues for Manchester United,  the biggest of their games this season in the FA was the defeat against Liverpool,  that match was indeed a big show for Manchester United being able to show the readiness and ability to convert each opportunity into goals that help and aided them to score multiple goals in the match.

286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Fire Your Best Employee Who Is Addicted To Gambling ? on: March 18, 2024, 05:44:22 PM
If the employee is not in charge of finances then I can leave him since gambling is a private thing and also it will becomes a problems if he gamble at work I will fire him, but if he only gamble at his free time, he can be free to gamble but I will make sure that I put him far from the company finances since I already know how gambling addicts behave with money.

But also I will not blame anyone for taking the action to fire a worker who seems to be uncontrolly addicted to gambling if it against their working ethics.

Few minutes ago in one of my response to particular post, I said that I'm going to sack my worker who is addicted to gambling and just few minutes later, I'm seeing this topic now. There's a difference between an employee and the best employee and that's why I expect this topic to be difficult for a lot of people to give their opinions. When someone is employed, he automatically becomes an employee but to be considered as the best employee, the said person must work better than his/her other colleagues and that's why it'll be a very difficult decision for many employers to sack such person even after discovering that their best employee is a gambling addict.
Gambling addiction is actually one of the worst things that can happen to any individual and if for any reason I find out that my best employee is addicted to gambling, I'll first try make him see reasons why he must work on himself and get over his gambling addiction and if he decides to end his addiction, I'll provided him with every necessary support he'll need to break through from his addiction but if I find out that he's not ready to end his gambling addiction, I'll simply sack him because to me, I see hik as a threat to my establishment
The topic will be confusing to those who did not take the time to read through it carefully,  because if you take the time to read clear meaning to what the ops is saying will know the title without a close read can easily thinks that the thread is just about just any employee but reading further you will discouraged that the ops mentioned that a valuable staffs, and for sure if one is a valuable staffs that means he will have some level of skills which have to do with alot of control ability.

So the employee will have to take somethings into consideration  so that he will not lose best hands in his employers lists.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bullish are we in this bull run? on: March 18, 2024, 05:29:26 PM
To be sincere with you guys, I haven't noticed any significant altcoin boom lately,  because I can only see bitcoin making all the whole market break out I this bull season unless for one or two coins like Solana that also hard a rapid bull movement,  but then that market was already on the peak of it before this time.

So for sure when it comes to altcoins, we can that we are not in it bull season may be we need to wait a little more before we can likely see such market movement to declare a bull market in the altcoin market.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which narrative does a project have to adopt to gain your attention now? on: March 18, 2024, 05:22:14 PM
Really I think when a project promote the platform based on the ability of the ecosystem and being provable for users will indeed attract investors, since their are Belton have a working system that will support the project innthe future.

Unlike some of the pump and dump coins that are prompted some times, where there lack any visible ecosystem that will serve as a propeller to the project in the future,  this is how it works with experience investors,  because is far better and offer ore peace of mind when one know that the project have a working ecosystem to support and provides liquidity for the project.

290  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to self exclude from anonymous gambling sites on: March 18, 2024, 04:04:01 PM

So, in the end, it's not entirely about laying down rules for ourselves, but more of making sure we abide by that rule at all time, it's like the common saying that which made us understand that things are easier said than done, it's exactly very easy to come up with rules that will sure ensure we have a safe gambling experience, but it's harder to abide by the same rules, as doing so will require extreme determination and discipline, without this, it will just be us making another resolution we will turn away from almost immediately after making the resolution.
Rule are rules only when obeyed,  thos is a very important aspect of setting a rule for yourself because in recent time, we have seen alot of people who set an almost unbearable rules for themselves and even at that, they don't obey the rules that they set for themselves.

At best we need to make a flexible rules for ourselves so that we won't fine obeying them as uncomfortable or too hard to reach, but their is a high regards and needs for each gamblers to have a set of rules that guide our  conduct while gambling.
291  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most liquid companies in the gambling industry on: March 18, 2024, 03:52:56 PM
Some time ago, I read somewhere how Stake paid winners $150,000 without any demand for KYC which shows how well the company pays attention to privacy, and the high available liquidity to pay customers.
Gone are the days when one could deposit, gamble, and withdraw any amount in a cryptocurrency gambling platform without having to comply with AML and KYC rules because there was nothing of such kind back in the day. When we talk about privacy, reputable platforms always care about the privacy of their customers no matter what, some people think that the platform asking for KYC is hindering their privacy, but the reality is, that they are compelled to do that.

If a centralized platform doesn't comply with rules and regulations imposed by the authorities, they have the fear of their licenses getting cancelled and having their platforms closed down because they need to comply with the regulations, it's more of a necessity for them.
You are completely right, but unfortunately, this is something that most gamblers always fail to understand, they tend to blame the casino or curse the casino for imposing kyc verification on their account, forgetting that without the casino doing that, the casino may one day go offline without the possiblity of them coming back online, and when that happens, same customer complaining about the casino asking kyc document for verification, may also lose his or her money.

It's like you've said, gone are the days when the government cared less about the people and their online identities, alot have changed in this regard and we mustn't hate and boycott our favorite casinos because they are implementing kyc verification system and seem to be imposing it on their customers, no business wants to lose their customers, most especially, their loyal ones, but when it comes to kyc, most casino can't do much is it's completely out of their control.
I think just as it be to exchange so it is with casino's,  for legislatmacy sake, it best to gamble on a KYC compliance casino,  because in terms of liquidity provision,  centralised platforms tend to have more liquidity compared to their decentralised contourpart, because investors investors will have more confidence in those platform that have some form of licensing for the operations.

Anyways if I am in position to chose at anytime a new casino then I will surly go for a good kyc casino and pass through the processes that enable me to withdraw my winning anytime I hit the jackpot, instead of relying on a no kyc casino that take my money and never pay out when there is winning due to low liquidities.
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: Joya.Casino| Rewarding Casino | Vast Welcome and VIP Bonus| 20% Weekly CashBack on: March 18, 2024, 03:36:12 PM
Even stupid casino with no license  have evolution games provider but you don't have how that??
then go to those casinos, no one will be stopping you. I don't see the point of being angry with a casino that doesn't have the provider that you like. if the casino can't cater to the things that you want, all you need to do is go to a different casino that has all the things that you are looking for in a casino and move on.
Ok that mean they will loss alot of players if they think like what you think..cheers
the problem here is not that they think like that, it's that you have no patience. they have mentioned before that they will be adding popular providers soon. if you can't wait for that, you can go to another casino that has what you are looking for and move on or wait for them to add the providers that you want and stop crying.
I thunk we have to give new casinos enough time to build themselves through the bridge and progress with time, this is very important to their growth and exceptional delivery,  not having some few features and good games providers is one of the factors that are affecting new casinos, but with time, I am sure their are going to build the capacity to accommodate such games for the customers.

From the look of thing, this casino is going to make alot of progress in the future with the steps their have taken already and even the promises,  let wait to see I their deliver all their promises, as that is most very important in the growth of the platform.

294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 18, 2024, 03:16:57 PM
Even if you do have the money, it wouldn't really be that still worth on following someones bets no matter how professional or veteran they are into this industry but still it wont really be giving out that kind of good feeling in terms results or outcomes. It wont really be giving out that kind of easiness or when it comes to emotion on the time that you would really be making those bets basing up on someones calls or predictions. Nothing beats out if you do really make your own bet rather than on following into others. Somewhat its not that a bad idea on check out some information
or analysis that do came from others on which you do have at least having the idea on what you are really that dealing into.

Also it would really be that totally enjoyable and thrilling if you do really based up with your bets since you put up your own analysis into it rather than on making those random or suggested bets.
It's quite confusing why a gambler has to follow other people's predictions and bets for their bets. maybe by chance, it may work in some bets, but in the long run, those bets will not continue to be successful. still, gambling is a form of luck.
we bet ourselves with our own money and of course with our predictions. If we win, it will give us satisfaction with the luck we get. not from other people's luck that we follow.
It's well known fact that it better to bet your own predictions than jumping on others predictions this is not a good approach to betting because it will always end you in more regret than the way you will feel when you lost the bet based on your own analysis and predictions,  most of the time some of the bet that a gambler never pick by himself he will not be involved in the analytical ways and process that leads to the games selections.
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 18, 2024, 02:29:38 PM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
In cryptorcurrency just know that, while you a taking profits, another's person is losing and when you lose another one gains so that how the ⛓️ chain rolled, you have to agree with that fact, after that you then have to align yourself with  that, that I why it better to hold bitcoin and a few other coins that have stabilities.

When you are lucky to buy bitcoin at a discounted price, you will be in gain anytime the price increases significantly such as in the recent market price which saw brief all time high an still at high price, so it buy low and sell high that is how to stay in profits position all through.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 18, 2024, 02:22:04 PM
Hi,

As everyone knows the goal of betting is to get the largest amount of money , knowing that the risks do not change whether you bet a large or small amount, and sometimes the amount you bet with is your capital, and this drains you of your time and money, and perhaps your work and daily tasks.

Do you think that the benefits in gambling Worth the invest of your money and your time with knowing that your chances are Just 50/50?

First of all, gambling is not about winning but having fun from your activities and while you play the games, because if you build your mentality that you need to win every time, it means you can possibly go into borrowing to bet with which will definitely lead you to more loses, on the other have you have to make every possible attempts and efforts to desist from taking gambling as a means to make quick money because of you have such mentality, you may be forced to take some action that may be way out of your own control.

Gambling is far from rewarding chasing,  we need to tell ourselves the truth all the time, because by the time you fail to build that pre acceptance in your heart, when the loses hit, I may become very worst to bear with, but if you just gamble for the fun, then you be OK.

I don't use notifications, and so I came across the above-cited post (14 months after it was posted) and this thread by just reading through some of the posts.. which sometimes does result in skimming rather than reading in detail.

I do sometimes send smerits even when I don't completely understand the posts (or agree with the contents)... yet I might consider the post to potentially contribute towards someone else's thinking or that maybe it appears that interesting ideas were contained therein.

My being known for walls of text might be another dilemma.. in which there cannot be any assurances regarding future walls of text - and so long as no one deletes them, at this time, I don't have any plans to delete or edit any of them... if I do edit any of my posts, then usually such editing would be within the first hour or so of the post, and once in a while I will go back and edit something within 24 hours.  I usually do not edit my posts beyond further out than 24 hours (except in OP posts of the very few threads that I created) .. . but if I were to edit any of my posts, especially greater than 24 hours, then I would likely put some kind of an "edit" note in the post.
I got notification to this comment and I decided to ship in my few line of contributions to this discussion,  as how I perceived JayJuanGee as a member of the forum and how he has utilise every tool to properly analyse any topics that he fines interesting and making sure to include every vital informations and data's which makes his comments to occupy several lines, with detailed high quality contributions that any basic member of the forum could easily pick a point or two from his comment.

On the issue of post editing,  I think every forum member have the right to edit his or her posts anytime you fine something wrong with the content and need to edit,  good enough the forum feature make every edits timing display to public to take note of the changes.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 18, 2024, 01:22:21 PM
I didn't see anything special about Manchester United's game, they were just luckier because the Liverpool coach was too hasty in making substitutions. Basically, Liverpool had enough control of the match and they were even able to maintain their lead until the end of the second half before the equalizing goal occurred. So Klopp's mistake in rotating players gave United players more freedom and more confidence because they were able to force their opponents into extra time. So in my opinion it would be an exaggeration if that was the best game from the Red Devils.
In the world of football there is no such thing as luck, in my opinion this is the result of the Manchester United team's hard work with excellent passes which were then put to good use by the Manchester United players resulting in the winning goal for Manchester United. It's true that Liverpool played very well, but they played too hastily so they couldn't take advantage of all the opportunities they got when they were in the Manchester United goal. In my opinion, this is not the Liverpool coach's fault, in fact Kloop gave his squad a strategy that looks very good. It's just that Liverpool's defense is too focused on the front so they don't pay enough attention to their players from Manchester United.
Yes, it was Man Utd's hard work when facing a strong team at the moment, but I think Liverpool didn't put all their energy into this match because Liverpool was more focused on the EPL and UEL competitions, so even though they lost in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, it doesn't change the possibility that Liverpool still strong and this defeat against Man Utd can be a lesson for Liverpool not to underestimate teams that are not very consistent because sometimes teams like that can give surprises, Man Utd finally qualified for the semifinals and I think Man Utd can reach the final and fight Man City to win the trophy.
Indeed Manchester United game against Liverpool in the yesterday was a big win for man United,  but then the bigger question is that will just a match against the top club make the bug difference,  if you have being's following,  both in the premenre leagues and FA and other leagues,  Liverpool have being doing well in this this and just losing a match is not a big deal that couldn't be taken as means to get to something better outcome since the league is almost close to it end.

Anyways we have few games to go and at that Manchester United and Liverpool still have more games to prove themselves, I guess Liverpool in under high pressure right now, because of their position in the Premier leagues which their Don well from the beginning but at the moment their have lost a few point which drip Liverpool back to second on the leagues table right now.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 18, 2024, 01:12:08 PM
OP, changing your betting pattern to be weekends only, not as usual at night after work. Will it limit you from spending too much on gambling because you will still be losing on gambling at weekends? What I see you do is like someone who only reduces their engagement in gambling but doesn't map out a limited amount to spend on gambling each weekend.

Choosing to gamble on weekends doesn't change the fact of you spending the amount you can't afford to lose on gambling sites. Don't you so? there is a possibility of you spending more per weekend.

For this weekend's betting pattern on weekends to work out for you, I have a said amount you will be bringing out to gamble every weekend rather than only choosing weekends to gamble because you find it to be your free time.
What make me to gamble more on weekends is because on weekends there are several sport events most especially football because majority of the top clubs match are fixed in weekends and for that I can bet on them, on week day leagues may not be too actives and the best clubs may be playing on other tournaments which will limit the weekdays fixing.

So I weekends mostly on Sundays I make alot of bets although still within my set limits for that week, and I won't exit a second when my gambling tume is up, regardless of if a win or lose  I just walk away.
300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake and Bruno Mars An Example of How Gambling Addiction Can Affect Anyone on: March 18, 2024, 10:48:46 AM
I really don’t think Drake has a problem. If anything, he’s probably only betting the amounts he gets from stake for promoting the brand. If he loses it probably has no effect on him whatsoever, but if he wins then it is probably one hell of a payday for him. Not to mention he can post massive bets on social media and get a ton of promo from it. I wouldn’t call it gambling addiction at all.
The is it, Drake have enough reserves to splash any amount on a bet and wont effect his income in anyways even if he lose constantly,  and Bruno Mars on the other hand may not have such liquidity back up and that is why he is going into loan to fund his gambling activities,  some time Drake nay even be betting on a free roll from stake and since he loses almost all his bet on stake they may also be a cash back earning that is huge to at least cover him up.

But we are not sure if Bruno Mars is an Ambassador with any of the known betting platforms and the new doesn't specify which casino he played on so it most likely that he just gamble on a random casino that he may not have any contract with and just as a regular gambler, he may be gambling all from his pocket all the while and now he has exusted his holdings and he landed in loses more that he can bear and thought taking a loan is the way out.
