281  Economy / Securities / Re: [EVOO] Extra virgin olive oil from Crete, Greece - Updated! on: February 18, 2018, 01:43:42 AM
What is the revenue potential?

Production of each 0.5l bottle (including the product, sales cost, marketing, etc.) will cost us around $5-$7.
Our target MSRP for 0.5l bottle will be around $35-$40.
Additional revenue will come from limited edition runs, premium gift packaging and co-branding.

Trying to understand how you envisage a target MSRP at that price range. 3 litres of premium Australian EVOO fetches a price less than that.

Cobram Estate  Australia Extra Virgin Olive Oil

And that's 3 litres and in Australian $.

Or is there something special about your EVOO?  Are these first harvest editions?

How is the dividend payout and profit generation guaranteed? Do you have retailers and wholesalers waiting in queue?
282  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Withdrawing fiat from Yobit to Mastercard or Visa on: February 18, 2018, 12:21:50 AM
I am just wondering if anyone has managed to successfully withdraw USD from yobit to Mastercard or Visa?
Something about the process just seems wrong to me. I am used to sites asking you to register your card first, and provide an expiry date and the three digit security code on the back of the card, but yobit just expect you to type in "Visa: " followed by your card number.
And why does yobit not ask for any proof of identity? (Not that I am complaining about that.)

They use a system called Visa Direct which transmits money directly to the card number. No verification is required for Visa Personal Payments because you are transmitting or depositing funds into the card and not withdrawing from it which is the more sensitive of the two. The transaction requires a card number only, perhaps the name and expiry date too. The card number is uniquely tied to the recipient since there is no other card out there which shares the same number. You can read about it here:

https://www.visa.com.au/pay-with-visa/featured-technologies/visa-direct.html

Withdrawals to MasterCard cards operate in a similar way. The system is called MasterCard Send. You can google it if you want to find out how it works.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Need urgent help on: February 17, 2018, 10:55:28 PM
oKay it looks like i am screwed. I can't sign a message with that address with core wallet. Red text says i don't have a priv key. Yet i see it in my receiving addresses.

I extract the the priv key from the 3... address but that priv key belongs to another address which starts with 1.

My bitcoin adventure just ended.

Try bitWallet by Sollico if it helps. I use it and it works when I input Segwit private keys generated elsewhere.

Unfortunately bitWallet is only available on the iOS platform. When downloaded, create your own wallet. The wallet itself will display no addresses yet. On the lower right hand side of the app is a + symbol. Click on it, select Segwit-P2SH, then paste the private key in the the box above it. Your Segwit address (starting with 3) will appear above it. Save it (upper right corner).

Do not select "Legacy" as obviously this will give you a public address which starts with 1.

Your balances are quickly and instantly restored.

No, you're not effed. Try this first before giving up.

PS.. I see you might have solved the issue. But try this anyway as an alternative if caught in a similar situation in the future.
284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC transferred to YoBit BCC address by mistake on: February 17, 2018, 10:41:17 PM
Have been following up with YOBIT support, but no response till now ..
Cry

This was expected. I'm almost certain you will post here again next month and the month after about your follow up leading nowhere. Yobit is the exchange to avoid if it is top notch support you expect in the situation you are in. If you are simply waiting for something to happen, you will wait light years.

The best way forward is to be proactive. Take control of the situation rather than just wait for them to respond to that one ticket you might have opened. Remind them constantly, even if you are given the silent treatment. Don't let a day pass without reminding them to resolve the issue. One way to get their attention (especially given that this is an exchange which deliberately ignores their trading customers in an extremely malicious manner) is by being persistent and stubborn. Reminding them will eventually catch their attention. This might not be a surefire or guaranteed way to solve this problem but as I said you must be proactive and focused.

Simply posting here every few weeks will not address the issue. Yobit is known to be insensitive to all the complaints and scam accusations leveled against them here.
285  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need $500 to Paypal with [BTC / LTC / DASH / ETH] on: February 17, 2018, 04:12:40 PM
No one I repeat no one will send first to a newbie but of you ready to use this forum escrow I can do this and you pay his fesses
Also no one will not send first BTC or an cruptocurrency, because i can buy any age account with green trusted and rip you after you sent me btc first. You stupid man

Well, there you go, you just admitted to being a scammer. I bet you were trembling in anger when you typed that. Unhealthy habit, sir. You need to keep that anger under control.

I'm saying this again. Nobody will send you $500 first. It won't happen. I understand you're angry, knowing you won't get free money from anyone here. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.

Be prepared for that red trust. Sooner or later a DT member will find this thread.
286  Economy / Lending / Re: In urgent need of .05 btc on: February 17, 2018, 11:03:50 AM
But all i can show as collateral is my bike and my laptop only.I donot have any altcoins.

Then you can say goodbye to getting a loan here. Going by today's exchange rate 0.05 BTC converts to about $500 which is risky, given your lack of reputation here and your account's age.

Sorry for the disappointing news. You won't get this loan without proper collateral and if you persist you risk being red-listed.

Try with friends or a family member perhaps?
287  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The only CRYPTO debit cards working right now! (EU/EEA Tested) on: February 17, 2018, 10:50:05 AM
Is the UPayCard restricted to EU/EEA residents too? Mistertango is and they deactivated my card end of last month. I'm not really keen on WageCan with their super expensive card and delayed loading.

I'm still waiting for Cryptopay to introduce a new card but I'm not putting all my hopes in that happening soon.

How is EEA residency established for these cards? I have a bank account in Europe which I opened back when I did a university course in Germany. I finished the course, left the country and now permanently live and work in Asia. I asked the bank if I am entitled to keep the account and they don't object to keeping it active. Funny thing is I no longer live in Germany and there is still an overdraft facility (Dispokredit) and a credit card attached to the account so I really question how these banks manage risks, given I'm not a German citizen.

Can I use a bank statement from a European bank to support EEA residency for these crypto cards? Or do they want to see an active visa or residence permit?
288  Economy / Lending / Re: In urgent need of .05 btc on: February 17, 2018, 10:15:41 AM
Stable or tradeable altcoins are the best collateral to offer if you want this loan filled urgently.

Physical collateral will not work as it must be shipped to the lender and appraised first.

Website domains, passport and ID, Facebook Twitter and Instagram accounts, reputation on other forums, contracts and future income are not considered valid collateral.
289  Economy / Goods / Re: Extension cords with metering / Power distribution / Electrical Issues on: February 17, 2018, 05:33:40 AM
Yes, services like yours are very welcome here. I’m sure most of those buying mining equipment are unaware of the dangers of do-it-yourself installation work. The dangers are multiplied when one is blinded by wild profits or fixated on quickly mining coins without investing in safe electrical systems. It’s not just about the potential financial damages when equipment is lost to grounding or other electrical issues but there is also the deadly side of electricity which some overlook. Losing coins is one thing but losing coins and life is a disaster.

Thanks for joining the community.

290  Economy / Lending / Re: Please in need of 20.815btc on: February 17, 2018, 02:32:26 AM
4 years here with my 1,452 anti-scam posts and they keep doing this. Well, as the saying goes, if you can't beat them join them.

OP, let me quickly send you those bitcoins. Problem is my wallet weirdly asks for 10% mining fees. I don't loan mining fees so if you would please send me those fees upfront? Thanks.

PS.. PM me for the address to send 10% of 20.815 BTC. Will respond even when asleep.
291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoins.com: New wave of scams! Steps to protect yourself (digital trades) on: February 17, 2018, 02:27:03 AM
In my 4 years here I have been posting here about the risks and dangers of reversible payment methods. Avoid taking PayPal payments from strangers. Give it a wide berth and only accept it if you are trading with an extremely trusted person.

Scammers are adapting to times and circumstances. They know how to talk the talk and they are extremely versatile in the way they communicate their scams.

The best solution to this dilemma is to never accept PayPal payments from untrusted sources, even if they can provide adequate documents evidencing account ownership. Documents can be tampered with and scammers know how to manipulate them to make them look authentic to the untrained eye.

Scammers will entice you with insane offers, sometimes even double the published price on exchanges. Don't fall for it.
292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://bitcoin-fund-manager.com/ FRAUD on: February 16, 2018, 02:41:16 PM
I wanted to comment on his videos but he conveniently disabled commenting. A well-prepared scammer who seems to know he is being hunted and haunted by his past.

If he hasn’t committed an arrestable offense in South Korea (yet) then he can only be detained if an Interpol Red Notice requests for his arrest and extradition. To get to that point, victims should come forward and file fraud complaints.

He has that dangerously matter-of-fact way of talking and walking people into his trap. I just watched that instructional video about linking API keys to his scam engine. Smooth talker.

Makes me furious to see scammers getting away with their crimes.
293  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need $500 to Paypal with [BTC / LTC / DASH / ETH] on: February 16, 2018, 08:54:33 AM
You pay via my paypal invoice, then i send you crypto 1:1
No credit cards, only debit or paypal wallet, PM me please.

For your own sanity’s sake, man up and accept that fact of life posted above this post of mine.

You might think there is no harm in trying. You’re free to keep bumping this thread but nobody’s sending $500 first. Count on it.

Try the magic E word. You might get your money within minutes.

E as in escrow.
294  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NEW EXCHANGE - WWW.CRYPTOMARKETS.CO.ZA on: February 16, 2018, 07:12:54 AM
Tread with caution, guys. Exchanges are popping up overnight like mushrooms. There's nothing bad about new exchanges penetrating the market. What's concerning however is that they appear and later disappear... with all your coins.

Not that I'm condemning this new exchange without proper evidence. It might be a genuine exchange but it's always best to err on the side of caution. Never blindly invest your coins on a site on the strength of an ANN thread alone. Do your due diligence. One reads of all these boiler room scams, teams of scammers working together to build sophisticated exchanges hoping to strike it rich.

Domains are cheap and so is manpower. Especially the less legit sort of manpower.

Being a new exchange, start by considering escrow integration. I'm not sure how such a system will work since there is of course no telling how many will trade how much coins on your platform but without a track record gaining the trust and confidence of the community will not be easy. Apart from the naive and gullible of course.
295  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Anti-Phishing Working Group on: February 16, 2018, 06:45:25 AM
A most welcome security enhancement initiative for the bitcoin community.

An aggressive blacklisting approach is a good way to combat these phishing attacks. Stopping them is of course a continuous and perpetual effort. As antifraud tools become more sophisticated, so do fraudsters adapt and adjust to find ways to bypass those tools. And this is why it might be impossible to totally eradicate fraud. Scammers will always try to find ways to outsmart the most modern antifraud systems.

And it's nice to see this working group embrace cryptocurrencies in their efforts to protect the public's assets and investments. Threads like this are bad news for scammers. Keep it up and thanks for being a part of the community!
296  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY - btc/eth, PAY - paypal on: February 16, 2018, 02:11:39 AM
Send me your WhatsApp number in Private Messages and I will get in touch with you. Currently looking to buy 10.000 euro worth of BTC(Bitcoins) and 7.000 euro worth of ETH(Ethereum). For trusted members I go first. Others - we use Middleman
Best Regards

And how do you intend to guarantee that you will not dispute or challenge the payment after receiving the coins? Charging back PayPal payments is easily done. PayPal entertains dispute requests up to 180 days. Credit card issuers allow charge backs up to 90 days. Scammers exploit them in a variety of ways:

- By doing the payment while connected to a VPN and later disputing the payment, claiming the account was hacked while you were somewhere else.
- By invoking the fraud defense, claiming the recipient is neither a friend nor a family member and that the transaction was done by someone who hacked into the account.
- By paying with a linked phished or stolen credit card or a hacked bank account.

EUR 10k worth of BTC and EUR 7k worth of ETH are seriously immense amounts of money. I doubt PayPal will process this transaction smoothly. First things first, they will limit the receiver's account and ask a ton of documents about this transaction. We are talking about EUR 17000 (USD 21300) and not $50!

Any escrow or middleman cannot protect the receiver. As soon as coins are released, you immediately have a window of opportunity to dispute the transaction which defeats the purpose and role of escrow.

297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Btc question on: February 15, 2018, 02:00:56 PM
It's a scam. Let me show you how they intend to dupe you:

1. They convince you to hand over your Blockchain wallet's login credentials. With that information, they access your account and click on the settings tab:

2. Within the settings tab, they click on addresses:

followed by + import bitcoin address:

3. A pop up box appears, prompting for a public address or a private key:

In this example, let's use the dormant address 14WWrJMGPo43mAoLXoH53pREAEUAFFW66T

After pasting this address in the box and clicking on the light blue import button, you are prompted to confirm the import process:

Notice the extremely believable balance:

If you verify the balance, it does exist:

https://blockchain.info/address/14WWrJMGPo43mAoLXoH53pREAEUAFFW66T

A scammer who, for example, offers Skype video proof can use this as evidence of having bitcoins. If you are not aware of the watchlist feature, you might be convinced and if you are one of the gullible ones, might even proceed with paying first, thinking along the lines of Hey this guy has millions so he can't be a scammer?! Let me quickly send him that 1 BTC!

Do not fall for this scam. Ask for signed proof of bitcoin ownership.

OP, don't be scammed. Think! Why would they put money on your account and risk losing it, given it's YOUR account and not theirs? Go ahead and follow the above steps. Stopping scams is most effective when you understand how these thieves do it.

298  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT [READ BRFORE BUYING BITCOINTALK ACCOUNTS] on: February 15, 2018, 09:20:19 AM
Hello guys
i want say please dont buy or sell your bitcointalk account directly and without escrow AT ALL!
this thread that i made is for bitcointalk sellers that scam people here
if you scammed please post your chats and account details here

I corrected your post above. That’s how to avoid falling victim to scams and to stop promoting scams.

When you buy and sell accounts, you invariably give scammers the tools they need to steal and defraud. Such accounts should be heat branded in the same way livestock is branded to identify the owner. These accounts deserve a permanent mark of shame.

299  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: February 15, 2018, 08:56:09 AM
Maximum annual transactions limit €20 000
yeah this is shit i use this in like 40 days.
so anyone know about other cards around?
viabuy you can only deposit 1000 EUR per month the first 15 months, then you can verify to unlimited.. but 15 months? cmon

Useless limits.

I miss my Cryptopay visa card. It had a daily withdrawal limit of USD 2000 and no annual loading limits. Now that they deactivated my Mistertango MasterCard I’m forced to trade my coins P2P or on Localbitcoins. I’m still waiting for THE card with solid limits and the kind of spending power which makes you feel comfortable about having just that one card in your wallet.

Cryptopay do you hear me?
300  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 100 to 2,500 btc Weekly on: February 15, 2018, 08:37:17 AM
Sounds dangerous. All the red flags and warning signs are difficult to overlook and ignore.

2500 BTC weekly. Skype and Zoom video-based proof is the worst form of proof in any crypto transaction. It’s as believable as photoshop.

I know what your intentions are. It’s either the fake escrow scam or identity theft. You want potential buyers to provide as much identifying information as possible. The more sensitive the information, the more preferred. You also want proof of liquidity. One can only guess what you intend to do with the information but if anyone values his life and assets, I suggest they give you a wide berth.
