281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when mining is no longer profitable or all coins are mined? on: August 25, 2017, 08:55:43 AM
Well, obviously all miners will loose their jobs as miners and will have to move on something else. Add to that all equipment around mining is going to be not in trend and demand anymore. But I think Bitcoin will not loose it's popularity in the case when all coins will be mined. It stays buy-sell system which is moving the economy, so I think all this relationships between buyers, sellers and bitcoin keepers is going to move bitcoins use for new price's records and development.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Noob question on: August 24, 2017, 04:57:08 PM
Yes. This is going to work if you do not follow for some big profit. Imagine how much earn on this difference people who have, let's say, 10 bitcoins. But keep on count that for every sell/buy an exchanger will take it's fee from you and coins can just fall for days or just raise. I have tried this with LTC, but it is just worthless, I don't see any big changing for weeks.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin casinos on: August 24, 2017, 03:16:15 PM
I play at 888poker and betcoin.ag. Don't know how many money I have lost and won already. Just regret about one moment that happened this March. When I won 1 BTC and give it to my wife to she keep it and she cashed it out by 1300$ price. I am still reminding her that if she would wait at least a month we would have 3000$ instead of this 1300$  Grin But what can I do now? We didn't know that Bitcoin will raise so fast.
284  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: August 24, 2017, 01:12:30 PM
The Bolckchain technology has shown to us that it is universal technology for use not only by digital currencies' projects. I heard that some ordinary companies start to use Blockchain technology in their activity, such as garbage utilizing fabrics and banks. I think if the technology would not show itself from better side they all would continue to use old methods in their work. But Blockchain is not just a fashion word, it is a really progressive thing which can be used in many process around us and our life.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust a new cryptocurrency? on: August 23, 2017, 08:15:26 PM
In my case it's token. I have invested in betking token something like 0,2 BTC this month. I think online casinos which work with crypto currencies are very popular now and the number of users is constantly growing. So, I decided that the own token of one of the most popular bitcoin casinos can pump high. That was my reasons of choosing it. I don't have too much money for investment, so I counted for long and I think that was good choice.
286  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-24] Bitcoin price rises again above $4,000 - but will it hit a new rec. on: August 23, 2017, 08:07:30 PM
Everybody expected new long way fall indeed, "bulls are tired" as someone has said. But the price came back on the level over 4000$. Looks like bulls didn't need so many time for rest Cheesy I don't know will this raise is going to be continued for the new record, but I'm sure we will not need to wait too long till the new record is going to be broken up.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2017, 01:41:04 PM
I will not say anything new than others. I would like to take as much money from bitcoin as it is possible. Bitcoin gives really good opportunety to earn a lot of money. Add to that I gamble with bitcoin and I would like this "hobby" bring me much more win and higher prizes than now.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 07:45:22 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.
The level of unemployed actually stays the same, cause such work as bitcoin making doesn't count as work. But actually this activity really can help to people with self employed. Add to that bitcoin stays good support for people who work already. I am one of such people. I earn like 300$ per month and bitcoin gives me the same sum monthly, which is very nice for here.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: If price of BTC reach 50K who is going to buy? on: August 22, 2017, 07:07:14 AM
Bitcoin's price is forming from moves of such simple holders like we are. If many people sell their founds the price is going down and opposite with buying. Today mostly the whales are regulating the price for Bitcoin due to they hold big numbers of coins. I may suppose that on such big prices the price for bitcoin is going to jump more activly, if now the price loses hundreds of dollars in the peak of big sale, in the moment of 50k$ price jumps can be from some thousands to some ten thousands. And here only traders are going to be in plus.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: My Ether Wallet on: August 22, 2017, 06:14:39 AM
I have created a wallet on MEW (https://www.myetherwallet.com/) and I have a number of questions / clarification needed:

1) To my understanding, this is not an online wallet: the website simply generate a wallet address, and gives me the public and private keys, which I can then safely store offline or on a piece of paper, if I wish so, right?

2) Once I have the address generate at 1) above, I can then send ETH and/or a number of ETH tokens to this address, right?

3) the blockchain knows that this address has received this amount of ETH and that amount of tokens. If I'm in control of the private key, then I can use my ETH and/or token for whatever I please: transfer them to another user, another wallet, an exchange etc ... Correct?

4) Even though I store on my address different tokens and/or ETH, I only need one private key right? I.e. once I know the address and my private key that unlocks my wallet with all the content which I can then use as I prefer.

Thanks for helping to understand!
Cheers,
Jay
Yes you are right and the other service of ethereum wallet that simple and easy be used is jaxx.io, you can import the private key of ethereum in it, it support on mobile devices too, so you can use your coins in your hand. Also many altcoins be supported by jaxx.io ethereum, bitcoins, litecoin and other.
Here not only altcoins can be used. Many of tokens that were produced during ICOs supported by the wallet. I have joined to My Ethr Wallet exactly cause of that. I have invested in some tokens this summer and now want to move all of them to one place and My Ethr Wallet is the exactly place which allows to make so.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to help blind people using and dealing with Bitcoin ? on: August 21, 2017, 07:39:19 PM
Sending Bitcoins or other crypto with voice can work, but how to make earning of bitcoin acceptable for blind people? I don't say it is impossible. There are new technologies which help for such people to use internet. But it is surly can not be possible for everyone who would like to roll into all that. Technologies cost a lot and available not for every one, let's be honest. Help of somebody from family or a friend also awakes many questions in my mind. So, I am more for to say that crypto-currencies' business unacceptable for blind people than opposite. Unfortunately.
292  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-16]Rising Demand in China Other Asian Countries May Push BTC to $5000 on: August 21, 2017, 07:19:54 PM
$5000 is not much of a special achievement anymore -- from current levels it 'only' requires a 16% increase to reach that level. The only thing worthy of pointing at is the massive growth that we have experienced since the first of January. Asia is definitely a big factor, but I personally find the looming SegWit activation to play an even bigger role. I seriously believe that because of that, we will experience a decent sized correction afterwards. Currently, we are exactly 7 days away from activation, and if we take into consideration that the price mostly increases in advance of the actual happening, I even wouldn't be surprised to see the price go down before activation.
Bitcoin is in the red color for days already after this article has been published. I really doubt that bitcoin will reach 5000$ during this 10 days, which are remain to the 30th of August the author is talking about. but I think Bitcoin has all perspectives for such growth and the new record. I also think nobody is going to be surprised to see such sum in sooner time. How to say, everything is going to that. but here is the question - what is going to do next? will it be the top of bitcoin's babble or the best strategy would be to wait for 10 000$ price?
293  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-20]Bitcoin Price to Reach $5,000 This Year, Predicts Gatecoin CEO on: August 21, 2017, 06:42:31 PM
Even without all this long article and explaining I can say you - yes, bitcoin will reach 5000$ this year. The fixed maximum of crypto-currency on 17th of August was 4520$ and this sum is closer to 5000$ more than to 4000$ point indeed. Everything what is happening in the crypto-currencies community is telling us that we can expect 5000$ during the year and that this year is going to be the year of Bitcoin!
294  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-15] Russia Discusses Starting Cryptocurrency Mining With Its 20+ Gigawa on: August 21, 2017, 06:19:51 PM
Igor Shuvalov is famous person in Russian economy. But I just don't get the idea of this mining centers. Which currencies do they plan to mine? Each one or the most popular only? But the popularity is changing - one day one currency on the top another day another. Ok, this point can be regulate by the strategy which can be change in time. Just explain me what for they are doing that? To be the first country who create something like this or to give some working places for nerds from over the country?
295  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-17] Bitcoin for Bombs on: August 20, 2017, 03:25:57 PM
With the advent of a significant amount of cryptocurrencies in recent years , investigators of terroristic menaces and law enforcement agencies are struggling to keep up.
As an example, the U.S. Department of the State (INCSR) has identified countries such as the Great Britain, Germany and France, as countries of "primary concern" for terroristic menace. These countries are represented in the same list with countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Guatemala.
Therefore, regardless of how you see the future of cryptocurrencies, it is urgent to solve the problem of compliance with the national law, which apply strong methods of fighting against terrorism.
296  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: August 20, 2017, 02:55:17 PM
There are many reasons for bitcoin to raise higher. Even the Wall Street predicted new raise. Bitcoin today is the most attractive crypto-currency and I doubt that raising Bitcoin cash, which costs 800$ today, will take bitcoin's place in that sense. I think the popularity of bitcoin is going to continue to raise for some more years, Bitcoin is somewhere in the middle of the phase of grow, this factor will make the price to raise higher and higher and break new records. Remind how many people were doubting in Bitcoin's raise more than 3k$ during this year. But the fork surprised everybody with sum close to 5k$! and it is just the half of year passed. I am wander what remaining four months are going to bring to us Smiley
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoincash / BCC price be equal to bitcoin / BTC price? on: August 20, 2017, 08:49:32 AM
Bitcoincash again started to grow and it presents to all of us some optimistic feeling about this altcoin. I was sure that BCC is a babble which is popped few days after it's epic raise at the first day after it appearance. Don't know what to suppose of the current raise, it is over than 800$ now and maybe it is just speculators game. I am more interested now will it appear new coin again after the next fork in the middle of November?
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In case of a second BTC hardfork in november... on: August 19, 2017, 05:04:06 PM
I don't see the problem in a small size of block, well, it is going to be less of small transactions. Of course, I understand that many stores want to capitalize by bitcoin's support, but really, do you need to buy coffee for bitcoins?
The problem that I see are the endless modifications, polls, and divisions. Although, of course, they attract attention, and the price is growing, but the probability that something somewhere is done technically incorrect (even for a short time) is increasing.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good investment you can do with BTC? on: August 19, 2017, 04:48:12 PM
You can buy some top ranked altcoins with this amount and wait for their price to rise, but anyhow altcoins investment involved high risk then bitcoin so it is better to invest your funds in low risk platform.
With altcoins you can never be sure, only believe in. One day it is in the list of top ranked altocins and another day it is not. There is a high competition among altcoins today. I thought Litecoin is on the top half year ago, but where it is now?? Nobody even talk about it anymore.
I think online casinos are very perspective for investment today. Especially those kind which accept crypto-currencies. I am a gambler and I see how the number of players, let's say of poker, is growing. I am sure that this investment can bring real profit.
300  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-18] Not Bubble - Bitcoin Growing Up, Heading to $10,000: Dave Chapman on: August 19, 2017, 08:13:30 AM
No one knows if the recent rally is the last pump before the bubble pops, or indeed if it is the tipping point.
Yes it is really like that. Nobody actually knows how Bitcoin will behave itself in next few months. But I think even 10k$ is not the limit for Bitcoin's growth. I think in future we will see some new pumps and dumbs promoted by changes in the world's economy, Bitcoin acceptance and speculators' play. I am sure after Bitcoin acceptance and admiting on the government level by some developed countries will pump Bitcoin tothe sky. The time of the pop is far and we need touse every moment now to earn us much as we can on the phenomen of Bitcoin.
