1221  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 10, 2016, 07:10:13 AM
In moments of despair people are ready to do anything, I know I'm capable for hard labor and I'm not ashamed to do any kind of work. Same as other I would ask for loan first, and with hard work I would try to earn enough to return loan.
I live in quiet little town, there are no desperate people around. In news, books, movies I saw what people are doing when they are in desperate need of money, that is scary and I'm glad that here there aren't so many evil people.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the difference between game and gamble? on: November 09, 2016, 05:31:33 PM
Two many accurate comments on this topic, gambling is when we risk money or some other valuable thing we have in our possession in some game, in my opinion its same do we play a game, or we watch and place bets.
This topic is a lot of repeating of the same thing, and people who doesn`t agree with this crucial argument just don`t know nothing about gambling, and placing bets. Games are games, they can be funny and for kids, don`t mix gambling games and ordinary games.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: November 08, 2016, 04:54:50 PM
I played roulette before, and in that time I was obsessed with reading about roulette, strategies and how others win on roulette. I never win something big, I was always in some little profit. I can`t explain the way I play it, I always watch previous results and I always trying to predict next couple numbers.
Best strategy for me was when I start with minimum bet and I play red or black, after that I see first numbers and then I try to hit higher payouts, and all the time I play red and black with numbers, combining bets and when one bet come I change but bets then didnt come I double. When i get to deep I stop to play. That worked for me, gambling with bitcoins I didnt try, so I dont know will it work online also.
1224  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: November 08, 2016, 09:03:53 AM
I plan to hold bitcoin that I earn for a long term, but in moment of need I will sell them and I will not ask for price. Its much better to spent bitcoins for buying some stuff, that is economy, people who sell things for bitcoins will stay out of work if everyone just sell bitcoins for dollars.
This depends a lot from place where you live, not everyone of us have same possibilities. I can`t buy pizza like some other people can, and food is what we all need. If I`m hungry and I dont have money in my pocket and I have bitcoins, what would be reasonable from me to do? I will tell you, only one thing sell bitcoins for cash and buy food.
1225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: November 07, 2016, 08:31:21 AM
This question doesn`t have one answer, I`m staring in all this answers, predictions, wishes, and in this topic, and there is so much of everything. I believe in changes, system we have now is very old one, and I expect changes to come. Bitcoin have a good structure, and it seems like bitcoin have advantages over fiat. That is not enough for one currency to get to the top, in end we as people decide what will adopt or not.
I support bitcoin, and for that reason I would like to see bitcoin as future of money. Just for that bitcoin will need many supporters, and in case that people start to like bitcoin as something new and better then everything else, expansion and taking primate will be easy task for bitcoin as currency.
1226  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: November 06, 2016, 11:21:14 PM
PayPal is a big pain in the ass first it has country restriction second it takes your money for every transaction and it takes a long ass time to process any payment.

That is the truth, they are pain in the ass. They have ridiculous fees, but they are not scam. Many sites and services have country restrictions. We have luck that bitcoin doesn't have such restrictions, thou some bitcoin sites have restrictions for example. That restrictions depends from country laws, nkt from the service ot site as I know.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: November 04, 2016, 12:11:59 PM
Trading is something that I read about, I actually still didn`t try to trade. I don`t have any knowledge about it, and from economy I know just simple things. This thread can be guide for us who don`t know nothing about trading.
They say its best to learn from other people mistakes, this thread is exactly that. With this help we can avoid some mistakes and save our money, now when we know where to look, we can just be better in trading. Thanks a lot to everyone for this help.
1228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 03, 2016, 03:14:02 PM
There is big difference between this two, they are not created on the same way, they are not distributed on the same way, and for now you can`t spend bitcoins on so many places like you can real money. And bitcoin is just in digital form, real money have bills.
For me these are most visible differences, and differences that are most easier to understand. There are other more deeper differences, but this is how average person understand bitcoin and real cash.
1229  Economy / Goods / Re: Sell apple iphone 7 for 1 Bit coin Brand New sealed box 1 year warranty.. on: November 02, 2016, 09:32:39 PM
When you made this thread the price of bitcoin was $730 - $734, and the original price in apple website shows that iPhone 7 costs $749 which comes with warranty and free shipping, why would we buy from you for $15 cheaper? No info for international buyer, warranty etc etc.

I think this Maria is just one little scammer. She, if its she at all, wish someone to send her bitcoins, and only then shipping address. Nobody will send her anything, this is desperate try of some not so smart person to scam people.
This is clear in my view, and anyone who wish to buy phone from this girl, insist on escrow, only in that way you can avoid possible scam attempt in this case.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: November 02, 2016, 12:03:38 AM
I remember a speech by Andreas Antonopoulos where he said that if a currency is not use for drugs and prostitution then it's simply not a currency, this always applies to every currency ever invented and it's pretty much the truth. So if it's not used for illegal activities, it's not a currency.

I didn`t hear for this speech, all I can say that this is the truth. Every currency is being constantly used in history and present time for good and bad things, only difference that laws and culture is not same everywhere.
If people don`t use bitcoin for all sorts of payments, including drugs and sex, and other illegal activities then it doesn`t have a chance to be real currency one day, used by everyone in this world.
1231  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: November 01, 2016, 11:15:41 PM
lending bitcoin is safe grow your bitcoin
In the past lending bitcoins could be a great service, and almost a no risk way to grow bitcoins, nowadays there is a big problem, thats the most people are asking for loans and dumping their accounts. There is always a risk to invest into any project, till the moment there isnt a place where you can let your coins and be sure you will get more bitcoins.

Lending is never safe way for growing bitcoins. How can you be sure that someone will return you bitcoins you previously gave? With so many scammers, that know how to make fake ID`s, diplomas, fake works, in my opinion there is no safe collateral, except you can see it with your own eyes and check on different ways depending from what kind of collateral is in question.
Lending to companies that invest later in some projects is also very risky, I know for many cases where this companies turn out to be just ponzi schemes. Choosing right one is not easy part, maybe is better to save bitcoins like I do, they will worth one day a lot, price is going up that is a positive thing for us holders.
1232  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 30, 2016, 07:47:11 PM
Bitcoin is the bank, it`s first I saw when I started to read about bitcoins. Almost everywhere written, be your own bank, on almost every wallet or site that promote bitcoins. I don`t think regular banks will have big roll in bitcoin economy, bitcoin itself can do many things alone without help of some third party.
I don`t agree that regular banks should have anything with bitcoins, they have big fees for everything, and they charge a lot every transaction. I`m afraid when they get into bitcoin, they can make things more expensive nothing more.
1233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: October 29, 2016, 06:17:28 AM
Gambling is exploding in every possible meaning. Now there is more casinos, lotteries and other luck games for earning money then ever before. Bitcoin is following that trend, and now there is a lot of casinos and sites where we can gamble for bitcoins.
People like to gamble from home, bitcoin offer some kind of anonymity unlike casino for fiat currencies where we need to show ID, credit card, address where we live. That is one of the advantages that bitcoin have, new sites for bitcoin gambling offer good promotions because they are new and they wish to attract new players, some people are using that very good.
1234  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: October 27, 2016, 08:53:59 PM
Time passed since steam started to accept bitcoins as option of payment in their store. Price is higher then before accepting, and this is one of the reasons I think. One big store like steam have influence on market.
How much exactly did accepting bitcoins in big companies have effect on price is difficult to calculate, nevertheless this is a good thing, and I hope more companies will start to accept bitcoins in future.
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 27, 2016, 07:53:13 AM
I`m waiting bitcoins to arrive for more then a half day, its clear to me now why some people are complaining so much about confirmation time. This is annoying as hell. Why they just dont change that 1 mb block size, from reading this comments that can make things works faster and better.
Or I`m missing the point there, they could change that long time ago. Now with increase of transactions network cant process all that fast enough. When will they change this? Is anyone have some clue about it? Or this will be like this forever?
1236  Other / Off-topic / Re: Two types of Bitcoiners, Which are you? on: October 24, 2016, 09:33:38 AM
I'm holding my bitcoins, just I still didn't decide will I sell them or spend them. That decision will need to wait for a while. I will keep them until I have more bitcoins.
Both types are similar, sell it or spend it is almost the same thing. In both ways I will stay without coins and get something nice in return.
1237  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: October 21, 2016, 10:32:29 AM
'If we' work as a group, and 'if we' have money to invest in trading, then it's possible. If you think to move price with our voices that is impossible.
Moving bitcoin price is possible only sith orchestrated buying and selling on several exchangers, for that you need money, here we talk about huge investments.
Someone suggested altcoins, with fee that exchangers have that is also expensive, pumping altcoins can cost also a lot.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: October 21, 2016, 07:21:26 AM
Title says that you are searching for fun playing and not gambling, without house edge casino stay without profit, that is house edge, a d little advantage for them.
OP can play many games on facebook for fun, they have poker and almost every casino game. Just you play for their chips without egde and without possibility to lose money, at least I play like that when I feel bored, that way I save money, gambling is evil!
1239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price Predictions for 2016 Range as High as $1200? on: October 21, 2016, 03:00:07 AM
I'm not some professional, as I can notice bitcoin can explode in any second and price can go up and down for couple hundred dollars in hours. This scenario is seen before, and what happened before can happen again, my point.
Price is for a long time around 600 bucks, maybe bitcoins accumulated enough energy for for price to go toward 1000 $, after halving we didn't see that rise that is expected, october was vood for bitcoin, some good things happened. Now price to rise and everyone will be happy.
1240  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: October 20, 2016, 08:50:32 PM
PayPal is not a scam, you have issues with them and just because of that they put some ban on your account. Others are using it without any problems.
PayPal is company and their services are used by many people, it's same with other big companies, there is always someone to complain for something. Nothing can work perfectly good for everyone apparently. Today there are critics for anything, I think OP will solve his problem soon if he didn't do anything wrong.
