I know it isn't an investment, but in the last few years some "high risk" investment funds have appeared, and in them you can either lose it all or earn a lot of money. Isn't this basically the same as gambling? Wouldn't it be faster to just deposit the amount in a casino? At least you'd be able to spend your earnings much sooner  It is investment in my mind, and there is investments where you sit and watch your money grow, on other side there is investments where you need to work for everyday. Here is important what kind of skill someone have, its possible to make huge money on gambling, but I think skilled trader will do that better and with less risk. |

Few days ago I saw a movie about some kids on college that sells some drugs "moli", and they make all transactions with bitcoins. They send drugs with mail, and receive money in bitcoins. I didnt saw what was the name of the movie, just cause of bitcoins I watched till the end, movie wasnt so interesting for me, teenage story.
On Fox there is black list where they mention bitcoins couple times, and i think there is couple more shows where they mention bitcoins. I always feel something when I hear they mention bitcoins on tv.

Always with minimum, I dont wish to risk more then that on gambling. I bet just on sport and couple bet slips per week is around 5 mbtc max, and there is weeks when I dont bet at all, that depends from games and my mood.

Bitcoin is already an international currency as many countries are using for their business. Even in some countries governments are also involving in bitcoin. Soon many more countries will use bitcoin for their personal need and as well as business.
Why people discuss so much about this when its clear that bitcoin is international currency already. When some currency is used in all world without any borders it international. Some governments already have regulations but like you said in future many more countries will take bitcoin for serious. |

Tremendous task for bitcoin, I cant imagine something like this can happen. Banks are powerful institutions, there is more banks then altcoins, and if they feel threaten they can unite and make big troubles to bitcoin.
Banks work for government, or its reverse, they can make some new regulations and ban many things that we have available now.

By 2020 we could literally see anything, the price could be ridiculously high or it could crash to next to nothing. Too many variables & possibilities to make a solid prediction.
I hope to see something like $5000 bitcoin's by then personally.

Still, three years of the time is too far to make a speculation now itself. Most probably by being optimistic, bitcoin will stay strong and we are going to see many surprises in between time. no it will not be worthless at all.bitcoins price may increase too much but fiat is fiat .people will not be able to understand too much and end up protesting about it.beating fiat is next to impossible.
I have same thinking about this matter, its very hard that fiat will be worthless one day, and OPs headline is a bit contrary, how can fiat will be worthless and price for one bitcoin to be 10000 $. If fiat is worthless then we cant measure price of bitcoin with dollars. |

We all know bitcoin will worth a lot, thats why I`m trying to have as much as possible before thats happen. In my first days I thought to buy some coins, but instead I worked hard on faucets and I was searching for easy jobs and other ways for earning. With couple new threads, where people talk about price that is 2000 - 5000 dollars price now sounds perfectly good for buying.

In my case yes I always miss right time to buy/sale Bitcoin or other crypto currency because I'm newbie to crypto trading world and there is lots of things still to be learned by me.
I always get loss from trading and the reason is I always miss the correct time to buy/sell the coin.
That is my worst fear, that I will miss that moments when I need to buy or sell, or to sell when I need to buy and reverse. Its not easy to choose moment, I wrote on paper what would I do and for now my results are very bad, I still not dare to spend my bitcoins on trading. |

My vote goes to 22 - 30. Most bitcoin users are young people who have time for bitcoin world, people over 30 probably had between 22 and 30 when they started to earn bitcoins 7 years ago. I`m little over 30, but when I found out about bitcoins first time I had under 30.

5000 $ is exaggerated, we are close to 1000 that is true, but when we get there it would be nice to stay there for a while. Its a dream, maybe we can get there one day, who knows, maybe even in our lifetime, that would be great, but for now that is too far too even think about it. In any case I`m keeping my coins, and I`m hoping for price to increase as high as it is possible.

Interesting thread for someone like me, I`m reading and learning about trading for a month. What is the minimum amount to start as a trader?
It depends on you. You can start as low as $1 as long you as you are willing to take the risk because trading its not easy as you think you have to keep in your mind that in every trade you can lose your money so be ready on it. This represents most of the comments, its always depends on how deep our pocket is. I plan to start with 10 - 30 mbtc, I can spend that much for first time. Profit is proportional to amount invested, my first goal is to lean a bit, and I dont hope for profit, I hope I will not lose much in that process. |

I guess, for the current bitcoin prices stabilized at the price of $ 760. The price is high, but, I feel that the price of bitcoin will definitely be higher. This time, the month of December has not much effect on the price of bitcoin, however, I predict that, bitcoin prices will go up on 20 December
It's a nice Christmas gift  Gift is when ever price is going up. Looks like price started to increase in beginning of November, and since then btc is growing and every week price is higher. I will take special attention on price that day, you say on December 20 price will go up more, let's see how good predictor you are. |
