1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: January 13, 2017, 05:13:51 PM
I remember that feeling. I felt lost, I was sitting and reading about btc and I couldnt believe what people invented. Every now and then I discover something new, and every time like first time I start to read about people who made a fortune with help of btc, or lost. What a world for itself is bitcoin and all crypto world together with btc.

1022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: January 13, 2017, 01:59:38 AM
Bitcoin is better but right now PayPal is further because it just gets more accepted all over the world.

They are both good but I think that Bitcoin is already bigger but just not accepted a lot what has to change soon or later.

They are both good, that is right answer, we cant compare bitcoin and paypal. When paypal was invented it draw a big attention, unique service that can make fiat transactions easier. Bitcoin on other side is not a service, bitcoin can be used for much more things.
Paypal will lose its purpose if bitcoin become mainstream. People will not have any benefits from such fiat services.

1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy at $780-800 USD on: January 12, 2017, 10:52:22 PM
Price now is 768 dollars for 1 btc, and I see this as a huge drop. Spazzdla you are legendary member, and I see you are long in this business, do you really think it will rise again. I have some amount, and now I wondering to hold more or to sell and take what I can take.
I have never been in situation like this one, so any advice would be great. I`m thinking about it all day, and I regret cause I didnt sell when it was 1000. I`m a rooky in all this, and now I`m sweating and wondering what to do and to not make some big mistake.

Let me tell you the story of how I started with BTC.  Similar to many peoples I am sure.

I was playing golf in 2013 and my buddy tells us we should buy bitcoin, $70 per coin.  I look into it, spend some time to complicated give up.  Was going to buy 10. Forget about it.

Dec 2016, I read BTC is $600... FOMO (fear of missing out) sets in and I get setup on an exchange as quick as possible, takes several days, BTC explodes during that time.. now over $1000, I am setup. I buy into bitcoin first at $1100 CAD, oh ya I did.
It starts dropping and I want to get in at mining.  I buy 4 S1's when BTC was around $800, the network difficult spikes... the returns are not what I anticipated.  I got my coins back but it cost hydro to do it.  I still want to mine and buy the S3's as soon as they come out, probably turn a small profit even after power costs.
Buy more coins around $600 then at $400.. BTC drops to $200(The S1s are shut off).  I do nothing for a bit, it holds at $200.  I buy some at $200 planning to buy a larger chuck at $100 and double every bitcoin I own at $50.

Bitcoin skyrockets to $500(I buy a tad). Falls holds for some time(S3's are shut off, draw way to much power, buy USB miners to mine for fun).

Bitcoin skyrockets to $780, falls, holds for a a tad.

Bitcoin skyrockets to $1500 CANDIAN Wink, falls (I buy a tad),  and here we are.

I have been watching a lot of BNN and it has been suggested buying lower to drop your average buy cost is a good idea.  You REALLY need to look into what you are buying however.  I believe BTC has a chance to rival gold as a store of value.  Could also be a world reserve currency but forget about dreaming crazy big just looking at a store of value, if BTC held 50% the market cap of gold.. $250,000.00  per coin..  IMO BTC is better in gold in every way EXCEPT, for world ending situations and lets be honest who cares you're probably dead and the potential for an unknown bug or flaw in an encryption algo that doesn't get fixed.  I am betting on any bug we run into gets fixed with out the failure of BTC and it seriously competes with gold as the store of value people chose in rough times.

I think your experience is not so frequently. You invested money in bitcoins, a lot of time, you mined bitcoins. That is awesome I think, you have history with bitcoins.
"..but forget about dreaming crazy big.." I`m aware of potential, but even you are, like experienced member here, a gambler. " I am betting on any.." When you bet on something in the end that is just a bet, that can go wrong in some moment.
Lets wait to see what will happen after this drop, I will risk and continue to keep my coins safe.

1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will die soon if happen with every Bitcoin users? on: January 12, 2017, 03:21:39 PM
Yesterday I sent some Bitcoin though the amount of Bitcoin fee is small
FTFY. If you can't afford to spend 10 cents on fees, maybe Bitcoin isn't for you.
He's right if you can't afford to pay the transaction fees then bitcoins isn't for you. You want faster transactions then why you're not sending enough fees?

Its also about helping miners, dont forget that. For me that is important part, in that way miners will keep bitcoin alive.
If OP dont wish to help miners, or he cant afford to pay fee then he should really be patient and wait for transaction to confirm. I dont have such problems with my transactions, I pay 0.0001 fee and everything is better then alright.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Controlling your temper in gambling on: January 12, 2017, 12:05:24 PM
I gambled a lot before, I was capable to lose all my money in one hour. Now I'm older and wiser, and I have some routines. Controlling money and time is important, first learn to control that and then gambling temper, its easier, in one moment when you organize life outside casino it will be hard to find free time for gambling.
Guys everything is our minds, be strong and you will succeed in everything. I think weak minded gamblers tend to lose more then stable mind gamblers.

1026  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Isn't Islam a religion of hate and violence, not peace and love? on: January 12, 2017, 12:56:58 AM
There isnt much to discuss here, all religions are the same! People do bad things in the name of religion, not just now, its like that since the beginning of the world. In most cases people intentionally "misinterpret"* religion in order to use it as a justification for the bad things they do.
I think muslims are just more extremist in that, their laws about girls, about alcohol and drugs, they are like from medieval century. I dont know how they live under such laws, personally I could never become one of them and live in that kind of communities. Freedom for all!
1027  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: January 11, 2017, 11:31:53 PM
My strategy is very simple buy and hold, it is not the one with the best earnings ratio but it is very easy to execute, if there is a big rise in price I will sell a small portion of my bitcoin like 10% and wait for a decrease in price, that way I keep accumulating more and more bitcoin.

You buy and hold, I work, earn & hold. I dont invest money I earn on work in bitcoins, I invest myself in order to earn more on monthly level.
Holding bitcoins look like great investment at the moment, in 7 years bitcoin made a lot, and future can be on bitcoin side. Even with recent drops I'm positive about increase like other  members here.
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: January 11, 2017, 10:07:41 PM
Sadly I still dont, I joined just recently and now its not so easy to earn bitcoin like it was before. I`m working on that hard every day to get to 1 bitcoin, and I keep bit part of everything I earn to get there.
Dont say I could buy bitcoins, yes I could risk my money, but starting from zero have some advantages, and plus I`m enjoying in learning new things. Congratulations to all people who already posses 1 btc or more, good job guys!

1030  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 🔥🔥EAT FREE IN ANY MCDONALDS WORLDWIDE🔥🔥 on: January 10, 2017, 10:52:44 PM
Just bought it. It is only for US, but you said is worldwide. Anyway, will try it in my country. Will update the post if it works.

You are saying US, OP is saying worldwide, what is true? This is very cheap I can say, with 1.5 $ you cant do a lot of things, so I would like to buy one of this as well. Just I dont wish to be scammed or to buy something that is not working in my country.
OP should really give couple vouches to members with good reputation to make a review about this, I`m definitively for this if some one can guarantee. I will wait for that to happen before buying and downloading anything!
1031  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does freebitco.in sites work. on: January 10, 2017, 04:43:36 PM
I`m using that faucet, and I never one nothing more then lowest possible amount. Did anyone here ever won 10 000 at their site, they have thread here but I dont trust in everything I see there, they can make their own people win.
Also their lottery is difficult to win, no matter how much tickets I have, I even bought tickets one time and nothing, not even 10 place. Since I had some loses there, I dont use their dices anymore, I just claim faucet and tickets for lotto from them. Personally I dont believe they are provably fair, call it a hunch but one day someone will prove I`m right.
1032  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any bot for trading? on: January 10, 2017, 05:01:56 AM
There are a lot of people who're interested in trading but have no idea how to start. Some believe they can make money fast with a bot but that's not true. You have to choose the coins to trade manually so you have to check the market before, that's the biggest problem for most people. The bot only helps to trade without losing time because he can do this 24/7.

Thanks Tifossi for this nice explanation. So when we download not we need to choose right coin for trading and set up the bot to trade with coin we choose.
How much is the recommended amount of bitcoins for this trading not? And which coin would you recommend to trade with? I'm new in trading and this not sounds like perfect thing for some passive income. Thanks in advance for answers, I appreciate any suggestions.
1033  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Afghan criminals who gang-raped little boy granted residency in Sweden on: January 10, 2017, 02:51:27 AM
They wanted refugees, now they have good and bad ones. What did they expected from them? Who knows who sent them from Afghanistan, I think they are dope sellers and they now have well established distribution network for all the dope from there.
Muslims wish to rule the world, one of their main targets is Europe. I think this refuge situation is their plan for taking down the EU. They are coming for years, having gangs is bigeat cities, every family have many kids, half is in dope business half in legal works, they are covered from all sides.

1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: January 10, 2017, 01:11:18 AM
Gambling is all about money! Gambling smart is just how you organize money. There is no other way to gamble smart, pay for everything, put some money for black days, have fun with family, buy something to your wife and gamble with what is left!
There is no winning strategies, tactics, schemes its all about money, can you double next bet! Pay attention on your money and its smart!
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Usage Reduce Demand Of Fiat? on: January 09, 2017, 11:29:22 PM
How many bitcoins is there now in this moment? Of course it will reduce demand, not significantly, fiat is everywhere around and bitcoin is only a little part of all that space.
With the time bitcoin can take a little by little and to make this part much bigger, but that depends from many circumstances. For now usage of bitcoin is probably less then 1 % of total money in the world. Give it a more time, like 10 or 20 years.

I think as well that the demand for fiat goes down a bit with bitcoin. But the percentege of bitcoin from all the money in the world is way-way-way less than 1%
The national debts of the US alone are at about $14.3 trillion dollars at the moment. All bitcoins in the world are worth only about 14 billion dollars.
That means bitcoin could only cover 0.1% of the US national debts.
I think this shows good how small bitcoin still is in the world. And that there are really big chances for bitcoin to grow incredibly in the future.

Yes, good comparison, and you just mentioned 1 country debt and where are other countries, companies, corporations. Bitcoin is really small when we consider everything, also like you said this shows how much bitcoin can rise in the future,  "can" but will it who knows.
Dollar, euro, and other currencies will not surrender, we can expect economy war in the future, I see it like that.
1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: What has affected the price of Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2017, 10:13:37 PM
The bitcoin price has been affected by a buyin by a lot of people these days, I think that their was a pump and dump.

Or dumping a lot of bitcoins, thats why we have this drop. This can be a reason of bitcoin price behavior, somw group with big stash of btc dumped all coins and now its good chance for shorting, maybe price will drop more, and they will buy bitcoins again.
Jaxelrell said it good mayve, original purpose of alt-coins is to be pumped and dumped, bitcoin is not different from that.
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can Hit $2K ? on: January 09, 2017, 04:02:14 PM
No this is gonna be very hard, the bitcoin is gonna hit a high number but when and how that is the question of today.

With recent drop I can just hope we will not drop even more, 2000$ seems far away in this moment and I dont wish to think about it, can we as community do something about the price?
Its just an idea, can we make some transactions between us here, there is thousands of users here, everyone to make couple transactions and with that we can make million transactions in one hour or less, is it possible? My knowledge about block chain is not so good to know that.
1038  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Colombia just outlawed Bitcoin. Here's how to fight back. on: January 09, 2017, 01:28:18 PM
This is only a test, MMF, Central Bank, they choose Columbia to tppest prohibition. They always choose some little country and   then they observe what will happen.
I also think that petition will be useless, there is more fiat users then btc users for sure, we can just hope their drug cartels will find a way to sell cocaine for bitcoin, and marijuana too.
Simple question if we use VPN can government track us?

1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many % fee do you pay to convert to fiat? on: January 08, 2017, 11:11:33 AM
I didnt exchange my bitcoina for any fiat yet, I investigate where I can do it and one guy offer to do it for 5 %, that is OK, cause I would need to sell btc for dollars ( exchange will tale fee for that ) then to send dollars and in the end to exchange dollars for my currency. As you can notice process seems a bit hard, so I think 5 % that this guy takes is OK, and all members  here from my country talk good about him.
