Yes, everybody was saying that online wallets or a wallet without a private key is not the most safe place for the fork. I also become to worry, but in the end stayed everything on it's place (I use online wallet), anyway I haven't big money there. Now I see that money on it's place and nothing scary happened. But yes, I will not get this BBC, about which everybody is talking now, as I understood it was possible to get it free only in some wallets, don't know in which exactly.

In my opinion, No, Bitcoin cash won't affect the Bitcoin price. I think Bitcoin Cash is just an altcoin like others. Investors will use Bitcoin Cash as a replacement for Bitcoin. Maybe investors hold some Bitcoin cash as they hold some altcoins such as Dash and Litecoin. Bitcoin goes its own way and no coin can affect it.
Bitcoin cash is a token and I doubt that it has any chance to replace Bitcoin. But it can become real competitor to some other tokens and alts. I am not a fan of predictions, time will show what is going to be exactly with this newbie BBC  |

I don't even understand why people are panicking right now because BitcoinCash has zero chance against BTC. The price will definitely start increasing after tomorrow but It's just a matter of time until people panic again with the block size increase on November, just another chance to get cheaper coins.
Many people are panicing because of nobody knows what to expect. There are different opinions and different warnings. i am a micro-earner and i don't use all this cold storage and private keys, just hold my coins in an online-wallet, but people are saying that there no guarantee that tomorrow i will see my 0.1 BTC ever again. Do you need some more reasons for panic? |

I agree, I think this evening/tomorrow the price will plummet and then will recover and hit ATH. Personally, I moved all but one bitcoin to cold storage. I left 1 bitcoin on Kraken - just to see what happens. 1 BTC just to see what will hapen it's too much I think, but it's your choice. I still didn't get any decidion about my little savings, it is still on my online wallet, do not know what to do, there is an opinion that it's too risky to stay coins like that during the fork. Interesting... Very interesting. I would have thought that BTC-e was going to be the next Mt Gox, and definitely seemed like that for the past week. It's good news for bitcoin, and obviously is driving the bitcoin price up today as people feel more optimistic about how things are going to go. But promises are promises, they said that the police took a portion of their coin so the remainder of their stash could possibly not be able to pay back everyone in full and have to resort to something like Bitfinex tokens. I think targetcoin traders may post some weekly or monthly trading results or reports, constant positive results will boost confidence in targetcoin and investors will invest more.
This ^^^^, it is good to see that the project making headway. I second the quoted post by reiterating the point already made that if Targetcoin shows positive results by posting them here, It will help boost investor confidence and attract more investors to the ICO. Displaying the real time ICO results and making them public will no doubt help the confidence and trust further in this coin. Also i must say that Target coin is doing excellent promotion for their ICO and making the results visible will bring in more investment. right now things aren't looking good in my opinion. but a couple of months ago things were very good even if you couldn't get in at the very bottom, there was still a big pump ongoing which you could join and make profit.
but now it seems like the whole market is stopping to get pumped. mostly because bitcoin scaling debate is coming to a good conclusion an also other altcoins are attracting all the money to themselves. you can see litecoin for example which has been rising for some time now.
so if you want to invest in it you have to wait. i say for now stay away and only watch. if you saw the current dumping continue then you win.
if you saw a rise forming up then you can join in and win, but be careful not to fall for a bull trap. or a dead cat bounce.
Yes, That is right but what about long term investment. Because recently for short time i don't think will get good profit. Because in short time there is so many pumped up like Suddenly Price rise and suddenly comes to down again. In the current moment Eterum may be seen as perspective crypto-currency for investment, but it's future is not clear due to all news from Russia about Bitcoin's regulation, Vinnik's arest and situation with BTC-e, ban of anonymizers and closing of 40 crypto-exchangers and others. For those who don't know Etherum creator is a Russian guy Vitalik. So, the situation inside the country is not clear about all crypto-currencies and I suppose sooner or later they will get and to Etherum or will have an effect on it. |

I am afraid you will get tons of Private Messages from mostly new accounts telling you they can create the currency for you, give a cool name and how rich they can make you with that. I advise, you be in the forum, read, read and read as much as you can till you are confident that you don't have to depend on anyone to understand how it works. When you are fully aware of everything and sure you can catch if someone is trying to misguide you, then you should think of your own cryptocurrency. Yeah, I think it is going to be exactly like that. If you don't have programmer's skills you can read the forum for years and you will not create your own currency ever. My advice is to watch a video about this point on the YouTube. Good luck! |

You forgot that crypto-currencies didn't appear all at once. Bitcoin was the first in 2008 year and other crypto is a clear commercial project based on bitcoin with the main target to make it's creator rich. For example second currency that costs a lot is Etherum which appeared only in 2014 year.
Bitcoin's value is limited by 21 milions and day by day this number get shorter, because of many bitcoin stay forgotten and simply lost from different factors. People want to own bitcoin due to it's big price and the demand is growing like a crazy. I doubt that any other crypto will be able to reach such results soon and replace bitcoin but I don't want to refuse this idea totally.

only a properly created cold storage or a trusted hardware wallet. you can search for some hardware wallets if you are not tech savvy or don't want to bother learning how tos and if you are willing to pay. things such as Trezor or Ledger nano would work. or you can learn more about cold storage and do it yourself easily. like creating a paper wallet with tools such as https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org or make a Trezor like cold storage on your USB disk yourself https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Cold_storagePaper wallet is admitted as the safest one, but it is also can't give you 100% protection. There was a story on the forum how one British guy lost all coins in the fire, his paper wallet just get burned together with the house. |

I will not advice you any coin, theoretically all coins have chance for success just you need to look in the root of the idea of each coin and to not pay attention on coins which were created just for a joke as Dogecoin and do not bring with itself any serious sense.

I am from Russia and just watch it on the news. As I get the work of the exchanger is frozen now, but Russian government plan to fight for it's citizen, so all users of the exchanger should take the waiting position, maybe this story will have a happy end.
Which waiting process if on the news they say that the exchanger was hacked and lot of money was stolen from the users? You need to read news more carefully, BTW on the forum there are a lot of threads about this topic with information from different sources |
