I thought that Pacers is going to make it, that was so close and they're on the lead not until the last minute of the game.

I won't say "Poor Pacers" but instead, they did great. A young team with young talents that has a lot of full potential. Well done to the team and all of their staff for reaching to the conference finals.

Congratulations to Boston for making it to the NBA finals but it's not yet done. Is this a sign that we get sweeps from east and west?

Yeah, almost to extend the series to game 5 but again they ain't able to manage to complete the win and Boston again snatch this game and complete the sweep, like what you said, Pacers deserves it and even they lose the conference finals with this young squad there's always a chance improving the whole system and be back stronger next season.

In terms of another sweep? We might witness that if Wolves will do the same, lacking energy in the final quarter something similar with how Pacers outplayed by Boston, but maybe a good adjustments will be shown by Wolves this coming game 4 they need to do everything to extend the series, it's not done till it's done.
I was expecting that it will be a Pacers after watching all of the quarters not until the last few minutes on 4th. I'll just enjoy the remaining games before we get to see the NBA finals.

Execution is the key, and then that Boston stop, the block and then White with the corner 3 points to end the series. And also the crucial rebound of Holiday and that's is.

And as expected, Brown winning his first Eastern conference MVP, Tatum though is  very quiet in this series, he should be the one taking over, but I guess him and Brown are sharing and it's good to see them going into the finals again.

Luka and Kyrie is also looking for a clean sweep against the Wolves next.
Yeah, congratulations to Jaylen as well for winning the conference MVP. I thought that it's Jayson Tatum that will get it.

284  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to stop overthinking? on: May 27, 2024, 07:25:06 PM
One thing I did before is every morning, I list down at least 10 things that I am thankful for the day before.  It trains my brain to have that positive mental attitude.  Moreover, it helps me to reflect that there are many good things happening around me, I just need to have the eye to see and ears to listen.
This is good.

If this really helps you, keep on doing that. This is a gesture of being grateful to what you have and that counter the thoughts of being an overthinker.

Keep on practicing this and soon even you have no list at all, you'd be grateful by just even waking up in the morning and let the day work on its own without having to worry.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time? on: May 27, 2024, 05:54:11 PM
No.

Even I can say that I am following the news in the esports which is also another form of sportsbetting. Despite that I am confident with my picks, you will never know what can happen in-game.

This is the same for the other traditional sports too, some injuries can come and key players won't be able to play.

That's the same in esports although in other form as in in-game, come backs as we call it when the team you bet is about to lose but then they start to regain better plays and gradually wins the game.

Lately, I've browsed my Epic Games account and saw bloons TD 6. I downloaded it and got it for free before.

I've played it and just like a casual tower defense, I am enjoying it. The characters are awesome, they are cute little monkeys with various weapons.

I haven't finished the entire game and just going on with quick game.

Well, they didn't got nerfed.

They still have proved themselves to be the kings this time.
The patch only gave them more options due to the new meta heroes becoming another problem. Also, they didn't allow Storm Spirit to end up in Gaimin Gladiator's hands throughout the series after that previous one-sided win from the upper final.
They sure their opponent's heroes and that's why they have to stop that for their own advantage.

While it's true that this patch, many have thought that they will be nerfed but it's the other way around. They're able to think more of it and how they can use that against GG.

GG to GG and GG to Team Falcons, LOL!
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sort of investor are you? on: May 27, 2024, 12:31:55 PM
It's a mistake to invest to something that you don't know and the same goes for trading without having the knowledge of being a trader.

That kind of person that does it are probably two things; ignorant or someone who really wants to try and as a start, it's pretty normal to experience losing.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 26, 2024, 11:57:11 PM
I understand most of the players if they're calling it Dota 3. It was the same when we've got new patch about the shrine and tormentor.

We all will adap it soon but this time, there are a lot of things to discover. This is for the sake of meta and those that are strong, we will see if they remain strong for this new patch and update.

What is funny on this patch is about magnus reverse reverse polarity, to which hero its ultimate will be comboed with? puck maybe?

We are just 50% of the Crownfall event so expect a lot more changes until the event ends and just yesterday Valve had 2 patches for Dota where they balanced some spells , they changed some spells damage from some heroes but also improved qualify of ranked games.

I'm also loving the fact that Falcons finally got nerfed because without a strength meta heroes
Well, they didn't got nerfed.

They still have proved themselves to be the kings this time.

this team is kinda awful in all categories even if they have insane mechanical skills...that won't help them in current meta.
Fans don't hate them because they're strong, they hate them because they're trashtalkers but no doubt they're in their prime now.
290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: May 26, 2024, 10:53:54 PM
In crypto one should focus not only on profit but also on long term holding.
What if I paraphrase that and one shouldn't only long term hold but also take profit.  Grin

That sounds better IMHO because many of the long term holders forget to take their stack and get profits from it.

Crypto certainly has risks, such as the risk of losing money. We must always be able to manage this risk. For this we must invest the amount of money, the amount of money that we are ready to lose, or the amount of money that if lost, it will not affect your daily life.
I totally agree 100%.

Most of the holders and investors are investing money that they can afford not to have because it will just grow on its own and they wouldn't be reliant on it.

But the catch is once it grows, that will entirely going to change their lives for avoiding the temptation of selling too early but not too later. So, it's just all about proper timing and right time.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 26, 2024, 09:54:17 PM
And what's scary is that there are reports that KP might be back in Celtics line up in the next game,
Then that's going to be 4-0 for the Boston Celtics.

Pacers need to learn more. I think that they're not yet ready for the finals. It's hard to see them lose with that kind of lead. But this is Celtics.

Are there still folks that can't move on that our Jordan's boy(Butler) is the Celtics weakness? But kudos to the Celtics, they might sweep Pacers.

Yeah if porzingas is in the game there is no way the Pacers can hold them up.  Who is gonna cover him out in the perimeter, myles?  Jalen brown and tatum will have a field day driving to the bucket.  Hate to see Boston go to the finals but this year it's inevitable.  The real race is put in the west between Dallas and the wolves.
We might even see that Dallas and Wolves match later as a decider.

If the Dallas wins the game later then it's all completely the end of these conferences finals.  Dallas for the West and Boston for the East.

It's very likely that it's what the stats are showing right now.
292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Always consider security features of any device you're getting on: May 26, 2024, 08:55:05 PM
Technically no smartphone is completely safe because it's connected to internet but we can avoid certain brands that deliberately add apywares as preinstalled and some of them can't be uninstalled no matter what and this is the price to pay when we buy cheap and value for device but it doesn't make apple anything better, they have/had their security flaws too.
Exactly.

That's why I hate some certain brands that I've tested because I thought that they were worth it. Yeah, worth it if you want to be bombarded by spywares and bloatwares.

But if you are a techie guy and knows about simple security measures then if you're less in budget, either you save more to avail a better one or deal with those bad wares that you'd see more often.

Not worth it to do the latter one.

If the latest reply is still relevant, that's fine and the mods will just leave it fine.

But if it seems a necropost/bump or reply, you can report the thread so that the mods will lock it.

There is no way that the OP will lock it if he has been inactive for so long or even if there is no new reply and you just happen to search it and you saw that thread, you may try to report it as well so it will be locked.
295  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All in my head.. on: May 26, 2024, 09:55:48 AM
I will give you a great example.

SEC do not like Bitcoin.

But because of the influence of these large financial corporations and instutions, there is a possibility that the decision have been influenced by them.

It has been so long since BTC etfs have been applied by other financial institutions and when it has been applied by Blackrock, the chance of approval has increased and it did happened.
296  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you deal with depression and anxiety? on: May 26, 2024, 08:42:35 AM
Most of the people in our society are always depressed about something, in this case what kind of activities do you do when you are depressed??
This is a very sensitive topic and it is hard to speak for someone else that experiences this and yet some people are saying that this is not a real deal for them.

I am not sure how I overcome these but with anxiety, it happens to me whenever some problems comes to me and  no one is there to help me.

I find entertainment through games and also mostly through word of God.

There are folks that do not believe in such so, no debate but it worked for me.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 26, 2024, 07:18:50 AM
There are some people who don't have enough earning but they put a limit on their expenses and avoid spending on unnecessary things so they can save little amount at the end of the month and this little saving matters a lot for them and such people are really hardworking and talented.
That is frugal living.

They only spend on necessities and needs, they do not spend on their wants because they have to prioritize things than what they want.

This is a very common thing nowadays when you understand how tough life is and the situation that we are dealing with.

And despite that they do not earn a lot, still able to save. That is responsible spending.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and wealth is Energy know this first on: May 25, 2024, 10:13:39 PM
I agree to what OP has said in the latter. It's about the quality of your work and don't forget about your dedication on it.

Because if you are a dedicated man, whether you're an employee or a businessman. You'd put your seriousness in your craft and that's going to tell what kind of person you are.

Numbers doesn't lie but it will follow you upon being appreciated by the people that surrounds you. Don't focus on it yet but focus on building your foundation.
299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: May 25, 2024, 02:00:28 PM
Congratulations to your friend and I'd say to you as well for almost making it. But this is the risk that we're all talking about.

When no one was believing Bitcoin, many called it as a scam and that's a natural reaction of someone who's knowledgeable about investing and had known BTC newly.

It's a normal mechanism that you'll have to stay away from it with bunch of internet scams that you've known. Things are going to remain as big IFs and those who are risktakers will always play on their own games either win or lose.

As long as losing is acceptable and it won't be hard on your end, there's no problem taking risks and this time, you're more aware about the typical kind of scam.
300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to one shot restore windows default size and position on Windows? on: May 25, 2024, 11:59:15 AM
There isn't a one-shot solution (that i know), but you can try using scripts, third-party apps, or manual cleanup methods. Just be cautious, messing with registry keys can cause issues if you're not careful.
I wouldn't do that with any third party apps.

I guess that has been answered on that windows forum and there's really no way to do that. Try to ask it as well on the linus' forum.

By the way, I like your dazzle avatar.  Smiley
