281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making bets with my stupid friend on: April 24, 2024, 09:29:00 PM
No, I don't do any bets anymore with my friends. I've got a lot of them before but when I've moved and started to lie low on them because most of them does nothing but only to gamble.

The influence that they can give me is on all time high and that's why I've decided not to do anything with them anymore except to play online games.

It was fun until I've noticed that it's no longer doing me good because that's all what they wanna do when I've got plans for myself and my family while them, they'd influence you to just keep on gambling with them and it's just winning and losing so there's actually not a lot of wins at all.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Exchanges Nowadays on: April 24, 2024, 08:45:41 PM
Used to be super active but got burned by most of the old closures (Cryptsy, btc-e, Bter, etc), so where is the best place to trade nowadays?  I have a Coinbase account already along with Kraken but not sure of other options that may be better.  Thanks!
Most of the exchanges today requires KYC and you've got two known exchanges already. But if you want to know others thought what exchanges we're all using.

Mostly are using Binance, bybit, okx and the others.

So if you are not happy with the two that you have, there's so much more to test but only deposit what you're okay with because some are asking just to make these exchanges as their actual wallet which isn't advisable.
283  Other / Off-topic / Re: When will you be comfortable to start a home. on: April 24, 2024, 08:00:32 PM
When the pandemic came to the world, this only proved that not all industries are stable even if you think that you're a regular employee and your company has been stable.

This taught everyone that nothing is permanent in this world. Even the health workers have dealt a lot of patients and made them tired but that didn't stopped them from their calls.

And when I got married, I'm not stable and treated most of my hustles to be unstable and I just let it on with the flow of my life. But for those that will start their family, it's best to be stable before getting married.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If all your wages were paid in USDT, would you accept it? on: April 24, 2024, 01:07:49 PM
If your salary was not US dollars, but USDT, would you dare to ask for it? Although USDT can facilitate transfers and cross-border payments, thinking about the fluctuations and risks makes me feel a little panicked! It can’t be used everywhere in daily life, What do you think? Come and chat!
Asking? No!

If forcibly given and I have no choice then I'll take it. So, that's the difference if I'm asked to receive that payment in USDT by my company, I'd say no.

But if they're forcing it to everyone and we have no option then that's it, no option to take it.

286  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Miners still continue? on: April 23, 2024, 11:23:42 PM
Since Miners rewards is being cut half during the halving, do they still continue in the number they were before the halving?
As of now, they won't stop as they're on a situation that is in favor of them. And if they are going to stop, some big and stable mining pools are going to take advantage of the situation.

Regardless of the situation, there will always be new miners and the older ones will have to upgrade their equipment to cope up with the demand.

It's not an issue whether we go another halving again as the value in dollars will increase for Bitcoin.
287  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics without political parties. on: April 23, 2024, 10:58:10 PM
It varies per country on what kind of politics and government they have. For some reasons, I'd agree about politics and having no political party is the best. Like everyone is from individual sectors that they're representing and whatever the economy is demanding, they might be the best leader at that time.

Monarchy is what you're describing and based on the long term effect of it, it seems good to those countries that have this type of government. But I'd love to hear it from an actual person living in those countries that have this form leadership. Because by the books, they look great but in actuality, I have no idea.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Receiving bitcoin donations through my website on: April 23, 2024, 10:30:05 PM
Bitcoin = bitcoin.

Whatever you receive and wherever they are, it won't really matter at all. This is the kind of topic that's the same about tainted and not tainted Bitcoins which is concerning some.

But to be honest, you shouldn't be too worried whether they are from kyc/non kyc exchanges.

What if people tripping you sending you these donations from both ends? you'll just putting a lot of stress to yourself.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 23, 2024, 09:56:11 PM
They aren't dropping the support to the ERC20 but it seems that the tron network is more stable than the other in terms of fees.

That's why those stable coins gamblers, they have this option and it's easier for them to deposit and they won't be problematic about the fees because it's still fine and doable.

But to the bitcoin gamblers, much better to wait until the fees become more stable.
Tron is a pretty efficient option at the moment, but for some reason maybe people will deposit using ERC20 because their funds may be on the ERC20 network.

The more payment options it will be easier to get into gambling, this makes anyone able to play according to the option they choose.

The Bitcoin network is now congested due to a surge in transactions, but it will be stable and will also be used later.
I have also used Bitcoin several times to make deposits and withdrawals.
I agree.

While the Bitcoin network is too much trafficked and spammed, those that would like to gamble really have to do something. Do use some altcoins at the moment.

Whether you're a bitcoin maxi, it won't work this time when you're a gambler. TRC20 or the other options like Dogecoin, LTC and others that have cheap fees too are fine to use.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 23, 2024, 09:28:31 PM
AD had a mic drop and walk-out moment too after being asked about the last shot. Clearly pissed too.
They're on the lead and Nuggets won in the end. I can feel his frustration about the game.

And I'm seeing like 4-1 for the Nuggets here, unless the Lakers can come up with a plan to not just stop Jokic, but Murray as well.
And when they focus on these two, the other bench warmers are going to be the one to do some showtime. That's how the Nuggets play nowadays.

That last shot have got that man to man defense but it's just hard to stop Murray for that shot.
291  Other / Off-topic / Re: The effects of someone who was demoted to still be an assistant to new leader on: April 23, 2024, 08:55:09 PM
This is normal in the office or corporate world. There are employees that have been working for longer years in the company but then, the promotion was given to the lesser tenured but better employee.

It's hard to get demoted and assigns you as the assistant of the new leader or promoted employee. This depends on your ego as an employee if you're going to stay.

But if this is just all about the food that you're bringing to the table, there's no need to think of that. You just clock in, do your thing, clock out and go home.
292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 23, 2024, 08:21:58 PM
This new style for trading has helped people to reach their destination , and it has become easier to achieve . Thus  direction of commerce has changed and it's new form is online commerce which is the meaning of today era.
And while some are discussing about trading isn't a full time job, here goes some about telling that bitcoin isn't a life time job.

There's so much in life and we can't stop people from doing things that we like. It's true that ecommerce has changed nowadays and the same goes in trading.

In life, we've been doing a lot of trades and this is the career that a few risk takers chosen as their paths.
293  Other / Off-topic / Re: One quote that changed mindsets/peoples mindsets for and to greater heights on: April 23, 2024, 11:04:56 AM
Overnight success is what many are still thinking that it's easy to achieve. But they need to understand that if someone gets an overnight success, the thought of taking care of that success won't be a lot.

And that is because that success was taken easily. While those that have taken the success coming from the tough times to the strategies that they're able to apply and they became successful, they're giving more importance to that success.

It's because they don't want to take it for granted and it's the same for investing or holding Bitcoin. We held for a long time and we want to sell at the best prices.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: April 22, 2024, 11:52:52 PM
When the savings money in the bank is lost because the bank is robbed as you said, they will indeed experience bankruptcy, but I think they don't seem to be silent, maybe they will replace our money that has been deposited in their bank.
There's a solution to this and that's through not depositing to a bank that's new to the business. But about those banks that have been in the industry for so long, you have no problem with them because they've got insurance if ever something unexpected comes.

And if they ever file for chapter 11, there's always the contingency plan that the customers will be insured with their money.

But the moral lesson here, don't deposit all of your money in the bank. And this plays the important role of Bitcoin and as they say "be your own bank".
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Making Me Wonder on: April 22, 2024, 11:19:03 PM
Today i was just analyzing the chart and it looks like #Bitcoin is about to print new highs! I was smiling and not quiet long I carried out a transaction, I did not believe my eyes, I was devastated, the whole of my bitcoin was gone for transaction fee.

And I began to wonder is this what the Bitcoin Halving is all about???
Nope, that's not halving is all about.

Just like the other concerns about the fees on other networks, the bitcoin blockchain is experiencing some kind of spam or attack from the runes that have been making the demand higher so the price reflects on it.

This isn't the first time that it did happened, way back on 2017 EOY it also happened and last time early this year, it happened due to BRC20 and ordinals.
296  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading campaigns helps level up trading for traders on: April 22, 2024, 10:49:45 PM
Those that are good can join them but for someone like me that don't trade a lot but wants to make some profit, maybe if you're qualified to join and just want to experience how it goes, you may try to go.

The incentives that the traders will get there could also help them more with their trades if ever they win. Those prizes are good amounts and encouragement to those that are good in trading.

But, there's always the minimal requirement that's needed and it's not for everyone to join.
297  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you care if your play to earn game is fun? on: April 22, 2024, 10:24:42 PM
Gone are the days of the play to earn that they're all fun. I'm starting to see a bunch of them trying to revive their own communities and market and pump their tokens.

Of course we do care if the game is fun and games are means to be enjoyed and have fun with it.

I even go back to the games that I used to play in the younger days of mine even without these gamefi things.
298  Other / Off-topic / Re: after the halving on: April 22, 2024, 09:47:36 PM
Everybody will wait for your distribution here mate thank you lol.
Thank you indeed in advance.  Tongue
but looks like OP broke our heart mate because now he abandoned us after promising the distribution  Cheesy Cheesy Angry
Haha.

I was expecting that. Someone who's a real generous will just have to ask for the bitcoin addresses that we have but maybe because of the fees that are so much now.

There's a need to reconsider for altcoin addresses. I didn't really rely on these giveaways by a random stranger but if ever OP proves us wrong then, what a hero he is.  Grin
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: April 22, 2024, 09:18:05 PM
USDT or any other altcoins that have a cheap transfer. Doge, LTC and even TRON are the other choices of most of the gamblers for altcoins gambling. USDT is fine because you get the actual value of it, but you should also choose the network where you'll send it because ERC20 is not cheap anymore.
More casinos use the Tron Network because it is cheaper and faster, Stablecoins on the Tron Network are also an option.
And some other networks are usually also available, but for ERC20 it still seems quite expensive.

300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streaming community are getting worst!!! on: April 22, 2024, 08:47:31 PM
That's okay, it is their choice and just like us we're promoters of casinos. But their difference is the viewers that they have an idea that can be seen by kids.

Unlike here, most of the folks here are old enough to handle themselves and that's why it's fine for me because we all have our choices. That's their livelihood and they're living on the sponsorships that are being paid by the advertiser.

They can justify that gambling is still gaming, isn't?  Cheesy
