So long you are paying everyone and no complaints, you can build your credibility. I'll go with a simple answer, if it's too good to be true then it's an investment scam. All the exposed investment scams have one thing in common which is the mouth watering offers they use to decieve their victims. Simply overcome greed and you have avoided 90% of the investment scams out there then improve on your knowledge about the industry. Don't stay ignorant as that doesn't help matters, always keep yourself update as some investment scams comes with moderate promises as well. The only advisable way to invest your money is to do it yourself don't trust anyone or platform to do that for you.
I've seen a lot of these scams specially in Telegram when I was just starting in crypto things. Left and right, there has been lots of promises that has been done just to deceived the innocent victims. We should be aware on how they works so we will not become a victim of their scam again. Contrary, recently, there have been really good investments that I thought are too good to be true, but are actually worth investing in. Like these blockchain games where you can earn by just playing. The widespread use of social media gives opportunities for criminals to to do their dirty work because they can hide their true identity. From my experience, I got a lot of offers in telegram to invest in their company and promises higher returns. Some will ask my wallet ID and they will do the trading and will return my money after 24 hours plus profits. They keep on calling and it is so annoying. The people who makes promises are scammers so careful on that. Just do your own research and think a million times before investing. You can always block those persons or report as spammer if you want them to stop bothering you. Don't be tempted with high returns because more than likely, it is just a bait. This is the reason why a lot of newcomers are being screwed because they are after for quick gains. But they ended up losing funds because they are investing either on scam or ponzi scheme project. Also, make sure to do a quick search because if the project is a scam, there will always feedback (negative) that you can read about them. |

Still curious when Betnomi token will be on the exchanges, a while ago token was removed on Coingecko. Does it mean you are going to swap it to BSC chain again? Any future plans to list on well known crypto exchanges?
From the posts above, I think, betnomi should resolve first their issues with some players and closed it in fair manner. In that way, this re-launch will be clear from all past issues. We can not say it with 100% accuracy. But what can I say that the upcoming christmas is so far from now. that means we have still enough time to it happen. Now btc is trading around $59k-$60k so Just need a little pump to reach it. First of all Btc should focus on the next ATH and if it can make new Ath in near future I think 70-80k is very possible to reach even more.
The current price of $61k just needs a little more to reach its true ATH point so we can get a Christmas wish of $70k with a pump like this I'm sure bitcoin can make up for it. I think this year we can hit ATH twice and this in the near future whereas on Christmas most people are sure hope that bitcoin can be pumped again to the point of resistance. After going through all this it will be easy that bitcoin can be trusted to surpass $100k in the next year. If these movements would sustain then its likely we would be seeing that 70k in December but im not really that too positive because breaking previous ATH's is something hard or cant be attained easily but honestly we aren't really that too far off with that price but the timeframe would always be unknown as always but presuming on the sentiments circling around which turns out to be positive but we cant still assure if we would really be heading there or some nasty corrections instead because market is always been like this on where things do happen unexpectedly. With how things are progressing, it seems that $70k is very possible now before this holiday. I believe, one major boost is the approval of SEC with Bitcoin ETF. As they will launch it next week, we will see the pulse of the market if it can sustain this increase. When the OP created this thread, btc was in the 50k level, and only after about 10days, the increase is more than 10k. So another 10k increase from the current price will very well achieve the target of $70k, which is feasible to happen. |

Based from their announcement, you can only claim for the first snapshot, so yes, it will really fail if you try for the second snapshot. I believe, they will also post the dates for the claiming date for every snapshot. It is not claimed all at once. I have seen this kind of argument that just because the price of a commodity is high means that it is a great investment.
Personally, I don’t think that having a high price is what makes an asset to be worth investing in. Before you start investing in any asset you have to face the fall understand what it is all about and no everything about it before you can consider it. The price doesn’t really matter that much because the developers can decide to just start from any price for the asset. An asset can be worth less than $1 maybe due to the supply, and still be much better than an asset that has a price of over $100and even $1000. Take the cryptocurrency market as an example, you will see some coins that has a high price but a lesser market cap than those with a lesser price. True, however many times that is the only thing many traders are interested in, they see that a coin is going up in value and then they want to invest in it, they do not care what is the vision of the developers or the fundamentals of the coin, they are interested in the fact the coin has gone up in value and they want some of those profits for themselves. And while I understand their posture as the whole point of a trader is to make money, at the same time that kind of attitude can be very risky as the majority of the times they do not know in what kind of coin they are investing and this can create some problems for them as they invest in coins that are obvious scams for the community and then they lose their money in that way. This is usually why a lot of traders are getting screwed, if they will only look at the price movement and not the actual development per se. Because if they are caught in the middle, they can really lose money as they won't know if the price will ever go up again. So yes, it is important to follow also the updates and progress of the coin you are investing with, because it will give you insights if they have future or not. Be careful touching pump and dump coins, because you can lose money here and not recover even your initial funds. |

i don't think it has anything to do with the current price action because they (among others) have been trying to get SEC to approve their ETF for a very long time. it seems like they try at least once a year if not more. they did it even when price was falling in 2018 and 2019 and haven't given up yet.
it is interesting that US keeps rejecting ETFs while the rest of the world is already celebrating the anniversary of their ETFs.
For one, I like the fact that they haven't given up the fight against the SEC to get Bitcoin ETF approved. I've been hearing of these ETFs from Vaneck so I don't think it's because of the recent market recovery but it's also good timing as there's positivity in the space at the moment. No matter the number of times the SEC will reject these ETF proposals, I'm sure one day they will approve of it. Can't wait for that day. And that day, maybe they finally realized that bitcoin will survive even without their intervention. Because right now, we are seeing that bitcoin is already doing great even without their approval of this bitcoin ETF. I am on the side that we will really see this in the traditional market exchanges in the very near future. I also believe that it is only a matter of time before we see that day. And once it happens, I guess, the value of bitcoin will further boost its worth in the market. |

If they do finally decide to bring it online and also start accepting cryptocurrencies as well, I do think this might not work straight away, since there is a lot of competition in that market and they cannot really risk anything at that point.
Bringing it online world mean already having a whole lot of customers returning to the casino and at the same time they can make a lot of money, more money since during the covid it's hard to basically run any business like that, there is always a fear of an outbreak happening.
This idea can go both ways.
Regulations are strict but not in all the states, at some places it might flourish well, therefore it's all dependent on how well they do their research. Cryptos can provide global exposure as well. Let's see how it goes.
They can test it out if this is going to be working for them but if they're more focused on the opposite market physically, then they have to stay where they're strong and branded well. Adopting cryptos is just like adding a payment option to them so it won't really matter that much on their end if they do that. And for the side of their customers, they'll have various options for cash-in/cash-out. But yeah, it's going to rely on how they'll make themselves known through after adopting it. Exactly! Venturing in crypto is just like an added payment option for their regular patrons. And in case of exploring their opportunities in online casino, it is just another part of their business. Sorry for the confusion, I am personally not using algos/bots. I meant the algos the exchanges use, and also the market makers strategies. To me it just seems they have really fine tuned ways to pull you out of your position.. or at least my ositions. But thanks for the feedback. I have managed to keep my trading account level, no major losses but no major gains either. So maybe I am not risking enough. Like I said, it seems everytime I get pulled out of a trade the market almost immediately reverses. My question from this point is this. If I set my stops at another 10% or so, will the market makers or algos find a way to go down 10% more? it just seems like I am constantly getting shaken out of my positions and when I started it wasnt like that.. or, maybe when I started the coins I was betting on were just on such a bullish trend that I avoided these things. It's starting to get sort of intimidating to me that my trades were so predictable, perhaps I should find some new trading plans altogether. Just wondering if anyone else feels this way, or if this is a common thing.
What if try another exchange, and see if that kind of situation will happen to you again? It is never wrong to try other exchanges out there, you may even find them helpful in your trading journey. I am not saying that it is about the exchange, because more than likely the system will be the same to others. But just to test yourself, and see where the possible cause/s of what you are experiencing with your trades. It may be your strategy or their system, but at least have a lil experiment so you will learn more on this market. |
