1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many Crypto Projects Will Die on: July 11, 2022, 09:31:37 PM
Specialists believe that Bitcoin and good ecosystem projects will survive the crypto winter and grow, but many won't make it.
The specialist may turn out wrong, there is no certainty with crypto as I have often heard, all the projects may somehow survive and only a very insignificant few which may not be worth counting may disappear. Regardless with close watch, we will get to find out.

Some fiat money will also die.
This is difficult to comprehend, can someone please explain how? how can existing fiat currency die? what does it mean for fiat to die?

Even experts or self-proclaimed ones can't give a clear picture of what may happen to this market.
We can't rely on their speculations as they are also humans that are relying on the market movements.
What we can do is just wait and be vigilant with news and updates surrounding the crypto market.
Fiat currency is hard to die because it is under the government's mandate.
Most fiat will have up and down movement, but very rare that a fiat currency will totally be worthless.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 11, 2022, 08:58:21 PM
The decision is split so there's a chance to have a rematch if the promoter saw a demand from the viewer that ask for it. Magsayo definitely deserves rematch because he is the previous champion and to seal this match to a more convincing result. Personally, I don't like Magsayo due to his attitude and just basic attack moves. But I hope to see him again for a rematch as a support to fellow countryman.
The promoter will analyze the huge profit potential to register a rematch for both boxers who have performed spectacularly in the main card opening fight, I believe Magsayo has a high chance of competing again with Vargas, because several rounds Magsayo almost dominated many chances to win, he has proven the mentality to beat Vargas down although Vargas was finally able to bounce back to dominate in the last few rounds. I'm also really looking forward to the rematch, hoping some boxing news will soon update the good news about the rematch next year.
Probably there’s a demand here since many expect Magsayo will win the title but the result is different, and as we all witnessed it a was great match up and that’s a good reason to have another match. Most probably, Magsayo will fight again to get a belt under his name, this is his first loss and of course not an end of his career, Magsayo will rise again.

They will analyze it first if ever a rematch will bring them money just like this fight or more, but I think there will be a demand here for a rematch especially because Magsayo also managed to rally in the late rounds. Magsayo just didn't expected that to happen to him but as we can see bounced back and knocked down Vargas somewhere in the 8th or 9th round, there will be some speculation again for a rematch and I hope it will materialize because Magsayo do deserve a rematch.

High likely that Magsayo's camp will ask for a re-match because for sure he wants to redeem himself.
It is his first loss in his career and a belt was taken away from him, so understandable that he would want to get it again.
The two camps maybe in negotiation already about this re-match. Let us see how this will go.
I don't think Magsayo will just wait for another fight, he needs a redemption if he can give it to his fans.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People are not only gambling to win but they are buying entertainment on: July 11, 2022, 06:37:04 PM
when people go to see a musical show, when people go to drink in a bar, when people pay TV channels to watch movies, when people go to soccer stadiums to watch soccer.... and so many other things that people people do, they are paying to be entertained. That's why it wouldn't be different with gambling. in physical casinos for example we can see that people are playing these slot games in the greatest joy and talking and drinking in the casino. it doesn't seem to me that many of them are there in the physical casino focused on winning and having a lot of money, they are looking for fun

People who gamble for entertainment are those who have lots of allocated funds for it and are not afraid to lose it.

It's not just people with a lot of money who play for fun, even many poor people play for fun. take a good look at the slot games that are installed in the neighborhoods, you will see many people around the machine playing and laughing. they are not expecting to make a lot of money, they are there to have fun

Some people really do play for fun, but some definitely are after for the possibility of winning.
At the back of their minds, they will be more than happy if they will win their games.
For most occasional gamblers, I can agree that they maybe more on the entertainment side.
But for gambling addicts, I believe, it is more than fun that they are looking for but the possibility of chasing their losses, or keeping up with their adrenaline activity.
1824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many people become binance futures full time traders as job on: July 10, 2022, 11:49:38 PM
isn't binance futures just another type of gambling? given how volatile the market is? or am I missing something?  Around $2B(probably more) got liquidated in the past few weeks.

it's like saying, your job is betting futures in WTA tennis lol

This is quite true, if you don't know how to handle futures, you can easily get liquidated.
This type of trading is not for all by any means.
So if you have no idea on how futures works and you have limited or tight budget, better not go into futures.
Unless you want to take the risk. But as much as possible, use your own money and not borrowed one.
1825  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎥 YouTube Overview event for $10 000|🚀 BFG Listing Anniversary on: July 10, 2022, 11:31:56 PM
Hahaha, This is the question which no one knows the answer including the team itself since they will need to complete all Binance requirements including the specific license and legal documents. A casino token is very hard to list on Binance because of there strict requirements. FUN token case was different because it was listed on Binance before it was acquired by freebitco.in few years ago.

I think Binance requirements already change since then which is the reason few casino tokens listed there. I think only Fun tokens is currently listed on Binance.

Betfury has had a Curacao license for a long time now. Isn't this enough for listing, or does Binance require some kind of special licenses from gambling projects? By the way, I have a strange hypothesis. What if major exchanges(Binance and others) ask for some personal information about the developers and project management, which the Betfury team simply doesn't plan to provide since they want to remain anonymous, especially their CEO?

We are only speculating on this matter but the binance listing sometimes depends on the exchange prerogatives.
Just take a good look at SHIB token, it was listed by binance due to popular demand and not because the SHIB team applied for it.
As binance saw their possible good income from the SHIB listing, they haven't waited for the team to list it.
So in this case, if they are seeing that BFG token has huge market or very good potential, I don't think they will be very strict with the requirements.
1826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear markets are a time for building, development and research on: July 10, 2022, 10:57:20 PM
Exactly, and in fact, not all projects can survive during this bearish market. That is why many projects are failed and go to be dead projects after all. A new project may be seriously developing their projects very well. But this kind of market situation sometimes is really killing. Only a project with a very strong and professional team, enough funds, a solid community, and also significant development that have a bigger chance to survive and continue developing to be worthy projects in the next bullish time. And it may be difficult to prove that a project really has it.

If they have good financial backing as well as solid reasons why they want to survive in this market,
they will find a way how to tackle their challenges and continue their developments.
However, if the intentions of the dev team is just to pocket money to begin with.
They can easily give up and abandon their project. Because the motivation of surviving is not there.

A re-match is indeed possible to happen so let's see if the two camps will be up for it.
Many are rooting for Magsayo on this match, so I believe a lot were disappointed about the results.
As Magsayo already experienced Vargas inside the ring, he will now know how to strategize the next time around.
Hopefully the re-match will be this year, so they will settle this as early as possible.
Definitely, not the end game for Magsayo. He is still young to give up his boxing career with one loss.
1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: July 09, 2022, 11:38:34 PM
If you want to find out easily, try to check the feedback or reviews of players who have played there. We can see that in this forum thread or on sites that provide gambling site recommendation services. Also, feedback from outside the forum like google and their social media.

You can tell which sportsbook is trustworthy only when you see that their activities are conducted through various social media, they have a large number of fans and followers and there are no bad comments from the followers. They will have good quality web site and will not have any problem in making big transactions. They will have registration in sportsbook. They will have various activities in the forum.
I don't see any hard thing there to know a reliable and trusted Casino. You have to take a looks at it thoroughly and take a look at some review about it to get a hint of what it's all about. Sometimes we can try and test it buy depositing little fund there and try playing some games to how the platform works, then try and make a withdrawal to see how fast withdrawal could be. This is better to have a hint about how the casino works nit always depending on other people's reviews.

Some reviews are biased, so it is really hard to rely on someone else's feedback.
But you can get the idea how the sportsbook is doing by checking this forum and their corresponding thread.
And if you do want to try, yes, use small funds first and check how it will go thru.
Some people are being screwed because they also violate the terms of the site.
Not all complaints are owed because of the site, but also the player himself.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CARDALONIA] FIRST COMMUNITY DRIVEN METAVERSE PROJECT ON CARDANO on: July 09, 2022, 11:11:52 PM
Your ANN thread is full of texts, thus, maybe boring for some users to read.
You can post snapshots from your website if you will purchase copper membership.
If you want to attract interest from this community, you need to put some visuals that can catch the eyes of the users.
ADA is a promising network, so good luck on utilizing this network to advance your project.
1830  Economy / Speculation / Re: MtGox finally going to distribute 137,000 BTC sometime next month on: July 09, 2022, 10:46:39 PM
But I don't think everyone has still access to their wallets.
Because who would have thought this situation will reach up to this point where they will receive their lost coins?
I guess, a lot already forgot their credentials or had no more access to their computers used for this site.
Some also re-format their computers because this is a long time in the making.
Lucky for those who keep all their details all these years.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 08, 2022, 11:59:08 PM
I just hope that height and reach advantage of Rey Vargas won't be used tomorrow so we can see a brawl which i think is advantageous to Magsayo because he is used to this weight category but i doubt Rey Vargas would take the bait.

I guess Mark Magsayo surely understands that he is at a disadvantage in height and reach. Vargas on other hand seems it difficult to think that he won't use his height and reach advantage. I'm excited about this match and Magsayo should do his very best.

I don't mind if he will struggle to win as long as he will be the winner. He doesn't need to satisfy other people about how he will win.

Just over a day of sleep and we can now watch this fight. Magsayo for the win!

The odds are in favor of Vargas, as he is a lil bit favored by bookies here.
Magsayo is the underdog so this is good for those who will bet on Magsayo.
Hope to see a very good fight on this one. As Magsayo is seen as one that can continue the legacy of Pacquiao.
1832  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for perfect slot base casino on: July 08, 2022, 11:17:37 PM

Slot games is good but I do not prefer only the slot games I prefer those gambling sites which has casino as well as sportsbook. I think you should choice those gambling sites which has slots as well as casino and sportsbook. And if so you will get a lot of gambling site where you would be able to gamble.

Most casinos are not dedicating not only slots games as players want other games to be played with.
Very rare that you can encounter casino with slots games only, usually it is combined with dice, roulette or crash.
And most of the casinos now are also integrating sportsbooks because there are so many sportsbettors also.
Casinos need to diversify their services so they can attract as many players as they can.
If they will only dedicate their site to one game, it will limit their number of players.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "BSV and Monero are the way, and Craig Wright is Satoshi" on: July 08, 2022, 10:53:34 PM
Your co-worker's brother works for a crypto marketing company, so that tells me he would promote any shitcoin as long as the price is right.  Monero is the ultimate privacy coin and will always have its niche so I can get with that but he ultimately hurts his credibility by thinking cw is Satoshi.

This shows that there are really crypto users who are thinking that CW is real satoshi.
For most of us, it is laughable as CW already lost his credibility long time ago.
Anyway, the OP was just being polite, and that's true, we don't know the truth yet.
But I can agree that the future of BSV is also questionable for me. I have the feeling that it will die down without warning.
1834  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit SCAMMED MY 6500 USD on: July 07, 2022, 11:35:11 PM
We won’t even know how he found out about this scam gambling site until he let us know. He may just be a victim of its scattered advertisements in various corners where it can be placed just like the aforementioned explorers. He may also have just been drawn to fake reviews or highlight promotions without first knowing the overall background of this site. They probably have a lot of money from what they stole and they are stealing. Even if they end up shutting down their website, they won't lose the way to create a new one.

That is what is happened to those who are in a hurry and do not practice first or even find out if it is trustworthy or if there is no trace of fraud.
Maybe because of the explosive advertisements of 1xbit to different platforms such as youtube. There is many youtubers who have a good amount of subscribers who where sponsored by this 1xbit casino. Some of those youtubers really push people to deposit by giving them referrals and to good to be true bonuses. This is why I push myself to comment on every video where I can see 1xbit casino promotion. We can't do anything about victims ignorance in searching if a casino is reputable, Information is available in the internet  Roll Eyes There are hundreds of victims of that casino right now and we currently have others who's case aren't being resolve or 1xbit doesn't want to resolve because of it's nature in scamming.

And the sad part, they will only come here once screwed by the site.
But that's an expensive lesson for anyone. I don't think he will make the same mistake again.
Now that the OP is here in the forum, he can find a lot more reputable casinos in the gambling board.
I believe 1xbit really does have a lot of ads outside this forum, even most of the review sites are giving them a good rating.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: July 07, 2022, 10:59:12 PM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?
Gamblers will never be triggered by the bitcoin price dump, because whatever the condition of the market, they will never stop betting and find means to be profitable especially if they have that gambling addiction. Investors and traders may always be considerate on the prices of the cryptos, but when it comes to gamblers, their goal is to make profits, and as long as they have tons of capital to gamble, gamblers will always continue betting into gambling games and matches.

Gamblers will always be gamblers, so they don't see the market as main factor to change their habits.
But for some small time gamblers, it may affect them because they need to consider the amount of their bets.
In general, we have seen that despite of the pandemic and other crises, the gambling industry is one
of the industries that sustain their presence and survive. Gaining more patrons.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 07, 2022, 10:28:55 PM
There's an "IF" on what OP has said and I agree to do that. If you have the goal of winning with the games that you've chosen like in dice, you should really allocate huge money on it if you will apply martingale. But, the question of it is how much will satisfy you each win?
If you're just the type that you're ok with any amount as long as you're win and the records show that they're all green, that won't be a matter to you.
People are different when it comes to approach on particular things specially on gambling where its normal that people would really be neither be contented on getting huge or small wins but its impossible for someone to ignore when they do know that they do have huge bankroll or capital that they do have which its normal that they will really be coming after for huge wins and this is where behavior changes .Gambling is for everyone and there's no such restriction whether you are a whale or a shrimp it wont matter because its free for everybody but we know on what are the advantage into those people
who do have bigger financial capability which its really obvious in talking about strategies applied and on the behavior that they do have on dealing with gambling activity.
There is the big advantage for those that have bigger bankrolls and they can go as much as they can without having that fear of losing them money. Well, if they lose and since they seemed prepared for it and has a lot of money, they'll go back anytime they want.
But for the small gamblers and like having a loss today is already big, it's harder for them to go back and even the recovery process is much harder.

What I noticed also, is if you have enough bankroll, you can also recover your losses in time.
However, you should know what games you need to play not to lose a lot.
If you have small bankroll, upon losing, would be hard to recover unless, you will deposit more.
So if you want to keep your losses small, just play what you think you can afford to lose, without having the thought of recovering it.

Congratulations to HODLers and early adopters of ARIEL!

We welcome you to join us on our journey to the Post Quantum Future.

We have just begun.

What I am worried about this kind of project is that it can easily be shelved as you are developing it long time.
Are there really hodlers of this coin, aside from the team themselves?
How do you convince them to invest on this project knowing that the future here is not yet clear?
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 06, 2022, 10:52:20 PM
In reality this is an uphill battle for Nietes. His last performance was not the same Nietes we used to see during his prime years. With the lost of Rene Cuarto last week, it leaves Mark Magsayo as the only remaining Filipino champion. Magsayo is in a 50/50 fight in few days just short before Nietes' fight in Japan. Maybe it will add some motivation on Nietes. And that he needs to step up again to provide his country another world champion.

True, we all know that it's going to be very tough for Nietes. Maybe he has that in mind, to keep at least one Filipino champion if he wins against the Japanese.

The thing is that he has beaten Ioka before and that might be a good reason for him even at age 40 to think that he can still do it and get the title back. So we will see, the old dogs of Filipino boxing  is now retired (Pacquiao, Donaire), and he is the only one remaining.

Or the opposite may happen, Ioka will get his "revenge" over Nietes.
But in any case, we hope to see a toe-to-toe fight and not a runaway one.
Filipinos are known inside the boxing ring, so let's see if Nietes can give such honor to his fellow Filipinos.
And that's right, Magsayo is also one of the Filipino boxers to watch out for, now that Pacquiao or Donaire is out.
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the only option left on: July 06, 2022, 10:18:41 PM
Agree with what you said, due to the fact that there are still some decent alts, even though the current bearishness is very pronounced for altcoins, but there are some altcoins that are still quite worth it, especially for now.
But indeed, for alts, we also have to be careful because there are so many shitcoins and memecoins that always come almost every day, which makes you sometimes feel that they are quite good even though it is clearly a trap.

Don't look at the memecoins. Most of them will die in this bear market. Eth and other proveo altcoins will survive this bear market just like they survived the last bear market. And it's because they have utility. Memecoins don't have utility, they only have hype that will die fast in the bear market. I'm nit saying that all memecoons will die but 90% of them will. That's why I choose only Bitcoin and few bluechip altcoins to hold.

If you don't want to be ripped off in the alt market, don't go to meme coins or tokens.
Would be better if you keep your portfolio within the top alts like ETH or BNB.
With these projects, you are more confident that they have solid backing with known dev teams.
They won't be disappearing without warning to the public. But with meme coins, they can disappear without warning.
1840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: July 06, 2022, 09:21:20 PM
It’s worth it but don’t expect too much if you are still not knowledgeable enough to trade on your own. The risk is high and that’s why its rewarding, because the higher the risk the higher the reward and of course it will always depend on how you execute your strategy. Trading is risky, don’t take it for granted because if you do, you can’t expect yourself to earn some profit. Continue to learn, trading is a never ending analysis the market will continue to move and we should adopt on every trend.

Trading requires a lot of your patience and strategies.
Each coin or project will need a different strategy as they have different progress of developments.
So it doesn't mean that you just jump onboard whenever there is hype or fud.
Without making any logical study on the coin, you will lose without a fight.
It is true that everyday you spend on your trading journey, you will acquire new skills or tips or techniques.
