1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 11:57:56 PM
If you are lucky, then you are lucky. In that story, that person didn't really become addicted to the process but take advantage of his luck.

Instead of pushing more, the money that came from the profit was used wisely.

We all have that luck moment in gambling but in most cases, we are being carried away instead of stopping. There's already a profit but since most people feel lucky, they will push more thinking they will grab more money. But what happened next? We already know that.

There's really a situation where gambling turned people's futures for good. It's just that, we should know when to stop once we reached that moment.

It is certain that some people are lucky in gambling.
But if they don't know when to stop, that fortune will be taken easily away from them.
If you know how to strategize to use the winnings wisely, you can get out from gambling alive.
Alive, meaning, you are on the positive side rather than a losing one.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 05, 2022, 11:28:06 PM
At the end of the day each person has the ability to decide to gamble or not.

The environment they live in can make it harder or easier, but it's up to the actual person to decide what to do.

I am with you on this one. If the person has other goals he wants to achieve in life.
His environment won't dictate his future, because he can always change his way of living depending on his disposition in life.
Remember, those stories from poverty, the countless rags to riches stories, so it is the same with this aspect.
The environment is not the ultimate factor that will dictate the future of the person. It is the person himself.
1843  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 05, 2022, 11:02:29 PM
I'm worried and not worried at the same time. I believe in bitcoin so I'm not worried about corrections. I know in the end there will be a halving and then another halving and bitcoin will still be here 2 halvings from now, worth more than today.
I'm worried because I can see a lot of manipulation and influence from central banks and governments. I also see price go down week after week with no bounce which is a new thing even for bitcoin. This crash is very strong. Stronger than 2018 and 2014. Most red weeks in a row ever, price below mining profitability, and all this happened in just a few months.
I think you shouldn't be worried about the situation in the sense that it is not really that shocking for manipulators to try to do their best. I personally believe that if we could do anything, then we should do it and keep it going. However, if manipulators are tricking someone and there is nothing you can do about it, then do not worry about it, it is not your problem at all.

I know that there are some people who will try to do the best they could, and they have been warning everyone about these manipulations and speculations and be careful, but if people decide to ignore that and instead believe the manipulators, then there isn't anything you could do about it.

In short, mind your own business. Because if you will get involved in other stuffs, you may forget about your goals.
The manipulators or similar individuals will do these kind of things, but remember they don't care about your portfolio.
Follow your goals, and assess the situation logically. The fud will always be there but you should know your targets.
1844  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Firm Voyager Temporarily Suspends Withdrawals, Deposits, and Trading !!! on: July 04, 2022, 09:55:26 PM
The suspension is only temporary and should be a warning to users when everything is back open to immediately withdraw funds from there.
Trade should be completed per day and withdraw funds from the exchange but unfortunately many traders think the withdrawal fee will reduce their profit even though keeping large funds in 3rd party is a risk both to trade and to invest, but I'm sure that this won't stop people from doing it and learning how risky it is.

Once they resume the withdrawal option, for those users who are holding funds, better take that opportunity.
Because we will never know their next steps on this market. Better secure your funds in your own wallet.
Third party trading platforms are not for storage purposes of your coins.
With the bear market that we are still experiencing, these companies will indeed resort to securing their bankroll first.

1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: July 04, 2022, 09:26:11 PM
I also think the same.  The body reacts due to some mental disturbances caused by possibly too much disappointment or too much excitement.  After all, gambling does affect our mental states such as stress and happiness.  Possibly it is associated with losses since stress comes in when we are disappointed or depressed.
It will affect losses and wins because we will react based on what we get. But as long as we can use gambling to release tension in our busy times and not chase winnings, maybe we will not be so affected by the results we get because we know that gambling only has two outcomes, namely winning and losing. People who know the final result of gambling will prepare themselves for whatever the outcome is and react normally so that there is no excessive feeling as a result of the gambling results.
That's actually right, our mind and body tend to react more if we use gambling to earn money or as another source of income. That said, winning or losing will have that adrenaline and will cause the gambler to be stressed so much those activities and will result to fatigue, insomnia or worse have a heart attack if not controlled. But as you said, if we only use gambling as a way to entertain ourselves from a stressful week or day then our body and mind will relax as it's a pleasure for the body and mind to get out from the work environment.

How you view your gambling activity will indeed show how your body reacts on this activity.
I am certain, if you just loaned the money with high interest, you will be sweating hard while playing.
Because if you lose, you are screwed. Unlike, if you are just using your spare money, you will more than likely see the big difference.
You are more relaxed if it is your money, as compared to borrowed money.
If you observed, this activity is being detrimental not only to your health but your mental state, better alter your lifestyle fast.
1846  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slotella.com ᐅ Be the Game, Beat the Game! | 50% up to €2,000 Highroller Bonus on: July 04, 2022, 08:21:04 PM
Another casino in the making here. And good thing, you already got your license this early.
What I like about their withdrawal option - if your withdrawal amount is more than your deposit amount, you can withdraw it with other alts aside from your deposit currency - section 5 of their terms and conditions.
Also, no wagering requirements is needed before withdrawal, am I getting it right?
As long as the deposit has at least 3 blockchain confirmations as per sec. 5.1.
1847  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: July 04, 2022, 07:49:53 PM

The license really doesn't mean anything. Most of the time it's an employee that will sell the customer list. The casino doesn't even realize that the information is being sold. If there's a hack, then the casino knows but not an inside job. I was asked if I wanted a database for $20k USD but said no.

Your first-hand experience tells that this situation is indeed happening.
An inside job is always possible as some employees may be tempted for the money.
Some will offer to the black market and whoever has the highest bid, will get the database.
No doubt, you will receive unsolicited messages or emails, wondering how they did get a hold of your details?
Maybe, we can trust the casino, but the people or one of the staffs, will divert from his role and look for better pay.
1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Fully P2P Gaming Site the New Era of Gaming Sites on: July 04, 2022, 06:28:07 PM
Waiting for the launching of the website few days from now.
From what it seems, you will be a dedicated SOL-based gaming site.
Though the OP stated that they will add other payment methods.
Most P2P gaming websites are having hard time of sustaining its players.
So I believe, the team considers such bottleneck on this endeavor.
Also, I can understand if someone wins $30k or over, based from your terms, you will pay them staggered.
At least, it is clear that this is not a big gaming site for now, and players know this type of limitation.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What can be done in this situation? on: July 03, 2022, 11:53:12 PM
For my long years of participating in a bounty campaign, I have seen several bounty managers that update their spreadsheet during the last week of the campaign.  Most of them pay so I won't consider it as a red flag for scamming since I also experience an updated sheet and a very active manager but in the end, the campaign does not pay a single cent to its participant.
Actually, it will depend on who the bounty manager is.
there are Bounty managers that always update the spreadsheet regularly every week.
There are some bounty managers that update the spreadsheet after several weeks or in the last weeks.
And there are also some bounty managers that update the spreadsheet after the bounty ended.
Each has its strength and weaknesses. But, as long as the BM is still active, in the forum or even in the social media or telegram group, I think that it is still normal. but, if there is no updated news, not active for a long time, and no clear information even after some week's bounty ended, the BM may get red flag or scam accusation.

We can't expect anything great from bounty programs as we also don't know about their arrangements to the project itself.
Maybe, some are not diligently doing their job because they have other factors that they are considering, like the possibility of not being paid as well.
This is why in most of bounty programs, can be run by any person without much credentials under his name.
Unlike with btc-paying campaigns, most have established reputation already. And we know, that they will pay religiously every week.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are low....A great time to get in? on: July 03, 2022, 11:26:59 PM
I also noticed the ridiculously low eth gasses. Who would have known they would be this low by this time this year. The unpredictability of crypto strikes again. I used the opportunity to fill my bags and trade some tokens that I have been accumulating due to high gas fees

A lot of traders are waiting for this gas fee to reduce their prices.
Just look at today's fees - https://etherscan.io/gastracker

Been long time we have seen this drop, so better take advantage of this opportunity.
We don't know what will happen after this bearish season.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 03, 2022, 10:53:01 PM
The only advantage of Ioka is the homecourt advantage. Nietes knows how to play with this guy. Age is not a factor.

The factor is that Ioka is active on the ring. That's his advantage over Nietes that even though he won his last year's fight, he still rested for 24 months prior to that. But I hope that Nietes last fight wakes up his usual form and does some regular training since then.

I just don't know why the fight ends up in Japan. It seems biased.

Even if Ioka has the home court advantage, I don't think that will be big factor on this match.
Japanese have good reputation when it comes to honesty, so I don't worry about being cheated here.
What they need to worry about is how they can have good training and be well-prepared for this fight.
Maybe, Japan has better conditions for this fight over the Philippines situation.
1852  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➡➡ STAKE.COM stole my weekly bonus🚧 on: July 03, 2022, 09:49:57 PM
However, they should have given me a bonus of at least 20 dollars on a 600 dollar bet.

I'm not sure how can you get the $20 because you wager $600 only, if your calculation is real then I'll be very happy.
I'm platinum 3 in Stake and my average weekly wager amount is around $20k-$30k.
If I use your calculation, should I ask them to give me $500 for weekly bonus? LOL
Just FYI, my weekly bonus is around $45-$55 with $20-30k wagered.
I think you are expecting too much from the weekly bonus.

With your statement above, I believe, the OP is expecting too much from stake.
As stated, this bonus is given as a good faith, however, the OP experienced a deviation from his usual weekly bonus.
I think, he should contact the online support because they are fast in responding their players.
Or he can even post in the stake thread here. I don't think this site site will steal a small bonus to their players.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] New cryptocurrency Lixcoin [LXC] available in 2022 (Post Information) on: July 02, 2022, 11:58:16 PM
The ticker is LXC, not LIX.
Will this create a payment problem?

Don't worry, a lot of their developments are still coming soon.
So right now, they won't create any payment problem.
We don't even know if this project will push thru as it seems their progress is quite slow.
I am more on the side that this project will die down without even hitting their first exchange.
1854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we going to recover or continue to dump? on: July 02, 2022, 11:27:31 PM
Definitely there will be a bounce back, it might take time and even alot of time but most definitely there will be a change in the market. Life itself don't keep going, there is a time when it rain, when it snow and even dry season too. So don't panic there is a comeback in this.

The market will start recovery when the market is well prepared. Because the way the market has dumped in recent times has happened faster than traders expected. So the market has not been stable so far. It is true that it takes time for the market to emerge from the current situation. And no one can say for how long, because the market will decide its next trend. So Bitcoin can only be bought from now on as a long term investment.

We are just mere waiting on what will happen next in this market.
We can speculate, predict, or whatever you think will assist you in deciding what to do with your funds.
But relying on someone or any entity regarding your decision is quite risky.
Better follow your instincts as the money in question is yours and not others.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: July 02, 2022, 11:03:35 PM

People know the very definitions of that two words are capable of not being affected that much.

If you are not really engage that much and you are just using this venue for having fun or killing your extra time, you
are free of any changes to your mind or in your physical body.

But if you take this venue seriously, there are lots of changes that may affect you, not just your personal, but also
your mental conditions.

As the saying goes, excess of everything is bad. This is why if you are in moderation in gambling, you may not experience any of those body changes.
That's right, not only in terms of body changes, even emotional/mental and other aspect of your life will be affected.
So if you think you are not in your normal self anymore, better contemplate on what's going on with your life.
And see what is really causing you this kind of distress. It is never too late to change for the betterment of yourself.
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready to embrace physical bitcoin? on: July 02, 2022, 10:12:52 PM
I really do not see any use for a physical representation of digital currency other than as a collector's item. It also seems like the coin would be of questionable value to anyone using it. They would still have to be connected to the blockchain in some way to verify its value. Not to mention that physical representations of bitcoins are much more susceptible to theft.

Up until now, the physical bitcoin is indeed more on collectible items category rather than being used as regular currency.
Because the components are expensive itself as compared to regular coin.
And because transactions are all online. Would be hard to know the tx id if you will use actual bitcoin coin.
So don't know how a physical btc coin will participate in the crypto market if in case it will find its way to trading market.
1857  Economy / Speculation / Re: “When” Will Bitcoin Price Break $69k All Time High? on: July 01, 2022, 11:43:13 PM
Nothing is difficult if the market skyrockets like what happened in 2021, the small thing that makes me believe that 2022 will pass ATH 2021 is the transaction volume that continues to increase and there is a large transaction volume when the price drops below $20k, this is proves that bitcoin is still a good and promising place for us to make an alternative investment.

The hope is always there as the adoption is still growing.
Be very worried if people are not talking about bitcoin anymore.
But since the market is growing as well as the users, there is still hope that one day we will reach or break the ATH.
However, we don't know when will that happen. So while waiting, look for options on how to increase your portfolio.
But that is, if you truly believe that this market has good future. If not, it is your own decision how to attack this market.
1858  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: July 01, 2022, 11:05:15 PM
Most the people like to hide their identity in casino and sports bet.So it was taken serious by the website and they allow such VPN for the gambling. The website only allow the user liked things, they will not allow all the things to the game.Because it will affect the trust of the game. Most of the sportsbet was based on the various countries in the world,it was reason of VPN.
The problem is for now there are some casinos who consider this as cheating and limit the use of VPN there.
Indeed, in terms of the advantages of VPN, it is very good, but we as active gamblers will clearly feel the loss if all sites now prohibit VPN because it is considered abuse, especially if we bet with a large amount of money, this will be very risky.

Before you attempt to use VPN in any casino or gambling site, make sure you have read their ToS on this section.
Also, if you feel it is not clear, you can reach out their support and ask further about their protocols towards the use of VPN.
Because if you happen to win or deposit significant amount of money, your funds may get into trouble.
Would be hard for you to recover your funds if they found some loopholes in their rules and regulations.
1859  Economy / Gambling / Re: |HexaBet.GG| New Jackpot Gambling Website launching TODAY (1ST JULY) at 5PM UTC! on: July 01, 2022, 10:27:03 PM
The website is up and working just as they announced.
I appreciate that they did respect the announced the deadline but am a little disappointed because the only way to log on is with a Steam account! I hope they will add other registration options so we can try and test the platform.
There are three games: CoinFlip, Jackpot and Battles but I couldn't figure out how the latter works and didn't find any information about it in their FAQ.

Yes, they should add other login options as not all users who want to try their site has steam account.
It will limit their possibility of getting many players as much as they can.
By the way, they removed the Battles game so maybe, they are fine tuning this game.
The OP should acquire copper membership so he can post the snapshots of the site and not only texts.

Just want to say thanks for the support all it means a lot to me and I’ll be continuing to update with what’s happening in real time. It is life changing money and tbh with you it still hasn’t fully hit me yet. I’m never ever ever gonna get this lucky again. After reading numerous horror stories I’m truly hoping for the best here

It's good to hear that your case has received a positive response from the casino. Once again, I wish you luck with your situation and hope that you manage to reach a resolution with Rocketpot quickly.
Please do let us know if you've been able to do so and how the situation has been handled by the company.

If rocketpot can't afford to pay the whole amount what is owed to the player,
they can always make a payment arrangement. Just be fair and honest.
No excuses or finding loopholes just not to pay what is owed.
If they will do the right thing, they may even get the trust from the community.
Hence, more players and more income. So let's see where will this go...
