2821  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you figured out what you are Investing in? on: June 09, 2019, 04:21:24 AM
The hyped in 2017 cause bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies to surged toward the end of the year and complete crashed back to the bottom in December 2018. Did people really know what they are investing in?  Is a question that keeps ringing in my mind and actually the answer to that question is that people follow the hype and forgot to  checked for reality before investing and this come from the testimony of those that has claim of making big profits or gain from the past surge that came into the cryptocurrencies market.
I think the red flag there is that people think of what they are going to get from their investments into cryptocurrencies more than the capital they have invested and as results when the reality done on them,  they began to sell out of panic and in turn the market clash like it happens through 2018.
Now that we have another opportunity to invest because of the down turned,  I do believe that it is good you look at the reality behind any coin you want to invest in and not the FUD,  manipulations,  FOMO and hype behind those coins.
FUD,  manipulations,  FOMO and hype are part of investing in altcoins this is something that you should be aware of whenever you are looking for a coin to invest some developers implement this and some coins just let things be and just continue developing their coins, the worse part is if you are late finding what kind of coins have you invested.
2822  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: June 09, 2019, 04:13:53 AM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa

The only people who go bankrupt are those ICO investors who picked the wrong project, and those who invested in Bitcoin on its all-time high back 2017 and sell it at a loss when the bear trend occurs, but so far investors are doing great and still making money on stable coins in the market, I wonder where you are coming with this kind of post.
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does your country knows about cock fighting betting? on: June 09, 2019, 03:58:34 AM
I have read a lot of threads the past few days but infortunately I was trying to look upon discussions that talk about cock fighting. Why? because this event is one of the old gambling activities way back and up to present. I do not know if it is known by other country but for sure in Mexico, Spain and Philippines cock fighting is widely spread. Sometimes it is legal but sometimes men operated it illegal.

Does you country know about this cock fight betting?

Another popular game here in our country, in fact, we have a lot of arenas here in our town build for cockfighting and some high profile personality in politics patronizing this kind of gambling, every Saturday and Sunday arena are jampacked with cock owners to bet in cockfighting, it used to be our country's national past time.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let me introduce "Ending Game" on: June 09, 2019, 03:45:51 AM
It's very popular here and I always bet on this kind of betting and have won several times, it's a real game of luck your concentration is on the last two numbers of the final scores and not on the winning team, so even if your favorite lost and you win in this game you will not become disappointed.
2825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO better than ICO? on: June 09, 2019, 03:07:39 AM
To me ICO and IEO are somehow identical only the main difference is that things are easier in IEO, the question is does making it easier change the overall view of perspective regarding investors or its just the same making IEO a faster or more convenient version of ICO, it bothers me a lot since for me making it more convenient is a side grade more than an upgrade since it just offers extra utility and it does not make IEO better than ICO.

Tell me what you think, is IEO better than ICO or they are just the same with only difference in method.

Project developers should make it easier for investors to invest in their project, without investors, their project is nothing, this is why IEO is more preferable for investors, they do not have to do a long and tiresome investigation if the project and the people behind it are legit because the exchange will take the responsibility.
2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY SUCCESSFUL GAMBLER on: June 09, 2019, 02:57:57 AM
So i was just wondering, aside the times i see the names of rich and successful gamblers during my google search, i dont think i have personally met anyone who made it big in gambling. Its possible there are  but i know more of those who have lost more than those who have made it.
Please note that by been successful, i  do not mean those who make this little and minor winnings on a daily bases(NO). I mean those with Big records, like who have won over 1BTC from gambling. If you know any either in an online or offline casino please dont hesitate to share their story, you can include the name of the site they made their wins, i am sure someone would be encouraged. Lets go guys Roll Eyes

Even if I know a guy I will not divulge their identity, it's part of their protection, winning a large sum of money has a problem attached to it, like they will be targetted by scammers and people who will deceive them to share his blessings, I read so many stories about this that's why some casinos do not divulge their high rollers or big winners.
2827  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: A Lawyer's Perspective on IEO on: June 09, 2019, 02:32:26 AM
IEO makes it easier for investors to look if the project is legit and compliant because the exchange has done this for their investors, although there's no guaranty of high profit here because it will still come down to their platform and how the community react to their project, but it's much safer than ICO and no need to wait for months to get it traded in the market.
2828  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [FOR SALE] ⭐⭐⭐Telegram Real Member Buy! ⭐⭐⭐ on: June 09, 2019, 02:02:24 AM
I don't know if this is the one that keeps adding me to a lot of groups in telegram channel every time I log in I'm surprised that I have a lot of notifications in my telegram from groups that I did not remember joining, they get your telegram username in the bounty campaigns spreadsheets and add you to any group, why would you pay something that you can do easily.
2829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO ENDED] Jarvis - Fx, crypto, stocks | DApp browser | Revenue token on: June 09, 2019, 01:55:51 AM

Another bounty before the exchange launch, that's great. Hope to join article/blog bounty. How much do you think the price will be?

Distributing dividends must be a good promotion for this project so I hope to see people are going to buy more for more dividends as well. Dividends will vary to how much profit?

Price of the token or?

Details for the next bounty will be given when the time comes so stay tuned:)

As for tokens - yes, each token holder will receive a specific amount according to the number of the tokens he/she has. Standard JRT gives you access to the 14% revenue pool. Meaning that 14% of the company's revenue will be shared among the token holders.

More on this topic you can read in our article: https://medium.com/jarvis-edge/token-distribution-f6b278b67852

I'm glad that you continue to update this thread with good news, some projects I've participated leave their thread and only update their telegram channel, the announcement thread is the one that is visible in the eyes of potential investors, not the telegram channel, where dev can ban people asking legit questions.
2830  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: June 09, 2019, 01:34:57 AM

I can see that soon almost exchanges and even ICO programs will be requiring us to do the KYC procedures where we are required to pass copies of our legal documents before we are granted entrance or the use of the services or programs we are interested with. This can be as common as having a password or 2FA.

Now, personally I have no big problem with it though just like anybody else am also concerned that my personal information can be divulged to anybody or a group that might use it for any illegal purpose. This is one risk we are facing once we are actively living in the online world. Evil people who can be thousands of miles away can now be just one click away.

What are your apprehensions about the KYC procedures that will soon be as popular as noodles?

If they show that they are compliant and regulated why not, I prefer doing KYC to exchange that host an IEO than ICO where the people behind those projects are dubious, there are so many debates about KYC but people should be aware of what they are getting into and should know the repercussions of doing bounty and KYC to projects that looks dubious.
2831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apocalyptic Scenario - What happens to Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2019, 01:23:46 AM
What happens to the value of bitcoin in an apocalyptic scenario? Eg, if the world starts getting hit with electromagnetic pulses which knock out power, or let's say the report that came out a few days ago is true, that civilization as we know it deteriorates by 2050 due to mass migration from climate change.

Many claim that bitcoin will be worthless and gold, guns, and ammunition will be very valuable. On the other hand it has been claimed that bitcoin requires very little infrastructure and would work much better than other things. If bitcoin is truly a store of value, then it should store value especially in unfavorable circumstances.

That's one of the scenarios that can make Bitcoin useless if there is no power, then there would be no internet and if there is no internet then there will be no transactions, I agree that climate change is a big issue in our generation but so many things are been doing to combat this, and if we want to continue using Bitcoin and support cryptocurrency, we should all in one to protect our climate.
2832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposed new law to jail Bitcoin holders, miners and sellers in India??? on: June 09, 2019, 01:11:15 AM
This is very harsh Whoever that lawmakers that drafts and approve that should not get a single vote among crypto believers in India and should campaign for them not to get voted, Crypto holders of that region should boycott banks that connives with lawmakers that draft that very harsh law.
2833  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best site for cloud mining? on: June 09, 2019, 12:59:12 AM
Hello friends

Any other site suggest me or this one is good? i want to reach mininum payout then go for big plan. Want to check this iste is legit or not ..
thx and regards

In the past, there were a lot of  good cloud mining sites, that was when it's still profitable to mine Bitcoin but in the last two years all the cloud mining sites I've joined turned out to be scam or Ponzi scheme you're lucky if you'll get your investment back or the cloud mining site will last a year better look for an alternative like mining altcoins that has a good potential in the future..
2834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: June 09, 2019, 12:18:40 AM
we all know that Bitcoin is the best crypto right now.
and many people argue that Bitcoin is the main crypto that greatly affects the crypto market.
my question is, if Bitcoin dies in your opinion, what will happen to crypto and what do you think can make Bitcoin die?

Honestly, I can't think of any ideas why Bitcoin will die at this point in time, I think the only possible way it will cease to exist is when the internet stops working because bitcoin is an internet-based technology, so much FACEBOOK, other than that I can't think of any the support is still strong.
2835  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ironx investors and holders are losing because of badly managed platform on: June 08, 2019, 11:54:53 PM
This is the only exchange I've seen that their own token does not have value or volume right in their own backyard, and they are not doing anything on it, they dig their own grave, by restricting an open trade in their own token, just imagine that it's not been done on any exchange before.
2836  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ICOEthics is a Scammer on: June 08, 2019, 11:44:16 PM
This is a big joke on this section, just because ICOethics posted that your project is a scam you retaliate by calling him scam when he is not asking for money or has a project like yours that ask for funds, you are one big idiot in this forum, your project is doom even if it is not yet starting.
2837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT exchange scamming peoples in EGOLD ICO and steal a lot of investors BTC's on: June 08, 2019, 11:37:18 PM
hu guys
like u see in the chart EGOLD ICO drop from 20 sat to 4 sat in less then 6 hours

This is not new they've done this for so many years and they are still doing it, people using Yobit platform should be aware of this, because it's not a secret anymore, check out the scam sections and you'll see there are at least ten thread about Yobit scam activities, so if you got scam it's your fault anyway.
2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Rokes Commons Exchange : Trading Crypto Just Got Easier and secure. on: June 08, 2019, 04:40:56 PM
You said your project is funded by consortium of private and public investors, does it mean you had already raised the needed funds and you will not be conducting any ICO ?
Yes Grin Rokes Commons Exchange don't have any ICO. Rokes need user only Cool

I'm glad you are not doing an ICO, there are too many exchanges, that launches their ICO and they run away with people's money and some of them just set up their platform and after that, they are not doing anything to make their exchanges popular, some of these exchanges are Xera exchange, Becent, and IronX who made $26 million and not doing anything to make their platform attractive.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IRX] IRONX - Best in Crypto, Best in Trading, World-Class Exchange on: June 08, 2019, 02:56:50 PM
This is the worst ICO I have been so far $26 million is such a huge amount for a useless exchange like this, now tell me is it still worth investing in ICO, people should leave ICO and forget every project in the ICO and instead go for IEO from big exchanges.
2840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Expert: Facebook’s GlobalCoin Will Annihilate Ripple - speculation on: June 08, 2019, 02:48:15 PM
There are so many speculations about this Globalcoin, that it will do this or will do that, now they are talking about annihilation or wiping out all altcoins, we have seen so many hypes in the past and we are not new to this kind of hype since they are going to launch this year why not wait and see if it's going to live to it's potential that it's goign to wipe altcoins.
