2841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 22, 2022, 08:22:49 PM
No, I'm not, but those signs and if someone feels those, they're extremely addicted. Someone who's committing a crime because he has a need to gamble and he doesn't have any other source of income, he'll really do things unintended and will put himself into harm just for the sake of gambling. It's like being at the highest level of addiction when you're off doing things like what you mentioned OP because they're really seen into those that has no control to their addiction any more.
2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 22, 2022, 01:00:33 PM
To me both look good
Both really look good to have.

investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?
Gold's movement is sort of stable whilst bitcoin, it's very volatile. If you're thinking about ROI, you should look into those assets that have stable movement with their value rather than getting into a risky one like bitcoin, so, if it's the choice then go for gold because you can calculate how much you can potentially have for the ROI. And for bitcoin, you don't know when it will pump and when you can get your ROI.
2843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: July 21, 2022, 10:45:56 PM
The casinos were closed for 12 days, now they are partially re-opening after the lockdown they experienced because the government cannot afford to lose any income because their economy is partially dependent on gambling resorts and casinos as a luxury tax and gambling taxes make more than 50% of Macau's economy, as well as the people living on it, are also employed to the said establishments.

Slowly but surely they will be back into full operation, soon.
I guess a country like Macau or a special administrative region of China have come to realize that they cannot wholly rely now to their country's bloodline and taxes into casinos and gambling. I guess they'll have to find some other means of business in making their economy last and future proof like if another pandemic comes again, they can still keep going and money will continue to flow into their entire economy despite a pandemic comes or another global issue happens.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Partners with Longtime Marvel Collaborators !!! on: July 21, 2022, 09:39:31 PM
Good news if they will really collab and there's something that they gonna build soon. I know how it goes with this investment. I don't like to hold it and I don't want to put much money into this. The news sort of brought some uplifting to the investors but that won't define the entire outcome of shiba in the near future because it has to be applied to see how it will go.

Honestly Shiba inu don't have to be 1$ to be a really profitable project in a few years more, this project is growing bigger and bigger, all I need is two zeros down, right now its value is 0.000011$, a 100$ investment on shiba inu today will give you 10,000$ if shib kills two zeros in future, also the burning rate of shiba is big.
I understand this numbers game and it's really intriguing and interesting if you're reading from the perspective of an investor and at the same time as a believer in this project. I might rethink my thoughts about shiba.
2845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 21, 2022, 08:49:17 PM
Meanwhile in Philadelphia, seems that James Harden is really inclined to have his first ring this coming season because he's really trying to bring all the assets that the team needs to enhance their chances this time.
He said in a statement that he's not the same James Harden anymore, he's completely new and different. There's something with those words and he's really gonna be focusing on taking this season's ring. No offense to him as he's an MVP before but other teams are also strong and have the same goal as him.
Just as they say, "may the best team win".

Yes, the teams in the NBA now are quite packed with talented young athletes which will be also the next face in the NBA in the few years to come when LBJ and other players of the same age will start retiring.

James Harden still has a chance because he's still approaching his mid-30s and he got more edge than the younger teams because he got more experience. He should also improve his performance this coming season and bring into action what he said so that Embiid and Maxey's talent won't be in vain.
Yeah, he can still get a ring and he's no doubt really a talented player and one of the best. The other great players have already proven themselves being one or being with the other talents pushing up their teams to the top and even taking a ring. I know that he can do it also and wish him the best because it's one of the achievements of every NBA player, to get a championship title. He's still got more time and really eager to take one of the rings so, those motivations and words is what makes it more exciting because all of them aims for that.
2846  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of the new scam trend. on: July 21, 2022, 10:21:24 AM
As said, it's not an old scamming trick. Maybe you've seen it for the first time but they've been doing that a long time ago and the same goes for those wallets that have tokens in ERC20 and they'll attract people to send ETH on it. For which, they have it on a smart contract and will also automatically send those sent Ethereum on that wallet to their own addresses. That's a trick that will victimize newbies that are greedy, remember that even if we're in the crypto market and there are airdrops and giveaways, do not fall for much for free money.

2848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA to be next MATIC on: July 20, 2022, 09:37:09 PM
Well, we are seeing what is MATIC doing in the crypto market these days. Do you guys think ADA can also do that in the coming days?
Possible in every cryptocurrency that we see some unexpected pumps and just like what happened to Matic, it can also happen for ADA. But unsure if it's going to happen as what you're asking in the next few days. I hold a little amount of ADA and it's like an experiment and I would not benefit a lot if I profit. There has to be a big reason for it to pump just like Matic the last few days but don't overjoy when you see that because you know what's next every pump that happens.
2849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: July 20, 2022, 05:04:05 PM
Gambling is like any other activity. But since it involves businesses, money, and reputation. The idea of combining all of those are significant reasons for those that have been affected heavily to tell that it shouldn't happen for the others. But, even if gambling is banned, there will be a lot of ways for gamblers to find out about this recreation and way of making money. Let us accept the fact that there are gamblers that do this as a means of living and that's why they'll still find a way to do it.
2850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your bag when you can on: July 20, 2022, 03:56:06 PM
It's crazy when you realize that someone still thinks that bitcoin can go to $1 or even zero. Well, it's different these days and not the same anymore as before because bitcoin has gone far and despite being a very volatile asset, it's unlikely that it will go that low.
Think of those people that are waiting just to buy cheap bitcoin like around $10k down to $3k, there will be a massive buying order on exchanges if it's reached and even to $1k so thinking that it could be low as $1 or zero is totally crazy despite of that "possibility".

I've read this article related to the shutting down of their affiliate program in the US.
Coinbase Cites Bear Market for Suspending Affiliate Program With Influencers: Report
So, the report was from Business Insider but until now, there's no official announcement from Coinbase. I've looked into their blog site and still no announcement.
2852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 19, 2022, 11:48:46 AM
Watched the video and 4 days after uploading, it only has 12k views so I assume that this is an unpopular match and it is a lower league tournament.
For me, that's already a lot of views with that span if it's just a lower league.

I believe that game fixing in lower league tournaments still happens and I already saw some game fixing matches here in our country (many times already Cheesy). If the management of the game is corrupt, obviously they will not impose any sanctions to these players because they already fixed it at first and it's obvious that he did it intentionally. Well, if there is a sanction between players in this tournament or none is the thing that we don't know but betting in lower league tournaments like this is extremely risky because of game fixing.
I agree, fixed matches are still occurring and there's no way to stop them even if the management will be that tough to battle them. Still, people behind it can just pay those players involved if they're going to earn more than that bribe to them. Sadly, it do really happens and it's like big underground organizations that handles and can do it.
2853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are governance tokens (UNI, COMP) a good long-term investment? on: July 19, 2022, 07:35:06 AM
They're all relying to the market's condition and that's why if we've seen them pumping as much as they can and looking that it's almost impossible for them to correct. Then, they have to go through what's with the market. I honestly think that if you're complete with what you're holding which is composed of bitcoin and Ethereum and looking for something else to buy, you may have that consideration with them. So, for example, you've given is the compound that has pumped to $800+ during the bull run last year, it's now $56. That's really a lot of percentage with its gain and you're the one to think if it will be back there or not.
2854  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: July 18, 2022, 08:00:51 AM
IEM Cologne grand finals for csgo is done. Those who were able to bet at least $10 and have followed and are eligible for the requirements have probably got their free spins already. Also by just joining the guessing about what slot was posted on their twitter handle, somebody has already $20 and it's already been credited to his account. Those that are into the likes of this type of promo, make sure that you always follow Duelbits twitter account.
2855  Economy / Gambling / Re: Good gambling tipster on: July 17, 2022, 10:46:50 PM
You don't trust a YouTuber with their tips and classify them as a good tipster. Honestly, there have been good tipsters in the forum but also they're not accurate at all times.
Some are offering payment in or outside the forum depending on how good they are but I haven't joined any of them. I've read from those who availed such an offer is that they're just like the same us that do predict matches and sometimes not hitting those picks.
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 17, 2022, 04:29:27 PM
He's always confident that he can carry the team, he has had that mentality ever since and that's why he's manifesting that mindset into actions and we all saw that.
He thought he really is a great player, his power to demand got bigger when the Lakers won a championship, but actually it was Davis who work hard for that game, without Davis, Lebron would not win a championship. The thing is, the Lakers management sees Lebron as the captain of the ship, so they just give him the freedom to make a decision and that even includes affecting the management decision on who to hire and who to fire.
There's certainly no doubt that he's got help from other key players of the Lakers. But if I'll look at his entire career, he really is something and I'll have no debate with that because, for me, he's really great as an individual. And I think that's why he's giving the space to decide for whom he's going to team up.

If he still thinks he can carry the team alone, he is wrong. He needs not just a superstar with him but a strong set of role players coming from the bench. He cannot carry the Lakers alone anymore. Last season failed horribly because there is no young blood hungry for victory left in the team. They ship them all out.
Yeah, and that's why he's picking who he is going to stay with. I think he also knows that he's getting help from his teammates and he knows that they're dependable.
2857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Covid again on: July 17, 2022, 01:54:40 PM
Covid is real, let's be enough with those conspiracy theories. It's a real disease just like any other disease that tortures our body. I watch travel vloggers and what I've noticed, in the majority of the places that they've been, only a few wear masks.
It's true that we've longed for the freedom and if the government is going to take away it again from us temporarily, they can't stop those that want to apply their freedom of choice and will just have to deal with it if they contact the virus.
We dont have evidence
Anyone can say everything but facts proof matters thts it
I've seen people go away from this world because of that virus and I've seen how their families suffered as well. Even me, during its height, I've felt some symptoms and it's entirely a different feeling from the typical disease that I've got pre-pandemic.

~snip~
I have nothing against these studies and research. When I go outside my home, I'll still wear a mask. I don't know if my mind has been affected already and I'm feeling that I'm quick in containing any type of virus, so, wearing a mask for me at least gives me protection from any forms of possible viruses and as well as air pollution since the city where I'm living is too exhausted and causing too much pollution as the economy has gone back and we're almost living back close to before.
2858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 16, 2022, 08:55:04 PM
And why OWL keeps on going up in price? Honestly their site doesn't seem to be very unique or impressive - anyone has a credible explanation who is behind the price rise of that OWL token?!
Not anymore with Owl but honestly, it's got a good chart looking at. It may have probably taken its own ATH and is currently down a bit. But look at when it started and how is it going right now. There's no need for any further explanation about it, this is just simple economics that has been taking the market for everyone and isn't just limited to gamblers but also to the investors. Volume was increasing and I think many were able to see how they have started.
2859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 16, 2022, 12:22:28 PM
Agreed, Lebron encouraged the management to acquire those old superstars in exchange for there young talent and veteran support. He was over confident that he can carry the team even with these broken superstar players.
He's always confident that he can carry the team, he has had that mentality ever since and that's why he's manifesting that mindset into actions and we all saw that.

His pride cause them a lot because they even can’t enter the playoffs even Davis return on crucial matches.
Well, see if they're going to bounce back for this season and I'm sure that he's hungry for that victory that he haven't got last season. He's still one of the best players and he always aim for the ring and not just for a high salary just like the other players that has got huge contracts.
