2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers theory on BEGINNERS LUCK. on: February 14, 2023, 08:01:29 PM
You don't believe it yet it happened to you. Well, we truly have a different sense of belief in terms of luck whether it's beginner's luck or not.
If that's what you think that it's not true and you're just having a good choice during that time, no one will argue with you that it's for real or it's not. And if you think that it's a trap, that's what I don't want to believe. We're the ones setting that belief if it's a trap or not, it's a common misconception that we're being trapped even though it's our own will and personal choice that made us to be there.
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero to PoS? on: February 14, 2023, 01:56:33 PM
I think hybrid is going to be more desirable if there will be a consensus that it's likable to change into POS. But as much as the more secure and much like is to stay PoW. Since the transition of ETH from PoW to PoS, this gives the idea that any altcoin that currently has the consensus of PoW can turn into PoS depending on its developers and its community's feed back. We all know that these privacy coins have better coverage of what they're aiming for and it's not just all about the market that it has which is concerned for most investors.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do casino and sports betting platform owners gamble as much as other people? on: February 13, 2023, 03:03:28 PM
I'm sure the owners of the gambling sites are gamblers and regularly play or bet. It is impossible, having such a site not to start gambling. Of the latter, I can give you a good example, although it's not gambling related.
I believe they were once gamblers but see the business as their hobby. They may take some bets sometimes but it's not going to be on a regular basis and that is because they understand the cycle and how the gambling business works.
They've started it with the goal of earning and not going after the losses because they know that once they also keep on betting, they're not going to avoid losses and emotions that it may be built upon when they gamble.

After the collapse of FTX it was revealed that SBF and his girlfriend were involved in margin trading, and with users' money. I don't think it matters here whether it's a gambling site or an exchange. The point is the same.
Yeah, the point is the same but not all owners of businesses either in gambling or trading business are too hyperactive just like the typical customers that they want.

Since I can't get a clear answer in this thread and there are plenty of mixed messages on whether the site has any active Customer Support or not, I just decided to ask them directly by submitting the ticket on the site.
Let's see how long it'll take them to reply and if they'll reply at all. I'll keep you posted.
Ok I have tried the live support on many occasions and it works perfectly, I am sure you will receive a response as soon as possible unless what you asked is outside the support coverage.
But then, you will get a response in no time, getting light lord to clear things up on this thread in what seems to have been difficult.
Going forward, I think it has become Important to try to play only the amount you can afford for a long time at the casino, to avoid delay if there be any issues.
If that is so then that means that they're able to keep their operations and seeing people active on their chat and having a normal day speaks for itself.
Forget about lightlord doing all of the operational stuff as he has assigned people to run the site for him in his absence. Yeah, he's still got the big part of it but let's just accept the fact that he's inactive and there are people that have been doing everything that he covers for the business based on how you've interacted with their support.
2045  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 13, 2023, 08:55:15 AM
Mine is smoothly accessing the website and also tried to hover over the same tab of soccer, everything's working fine on my end. But maybe, during the time that there's a problem, then now they're able to fix this issue.

To be honest, i have never used a paid VPN though, well, the thing is, I don't actually use VPN in the first place, this is because VPN usage, as I know it, is prohibited and frowned against by several casinos, so I try to avoid games that are not available for play in my region instead of risking my account and funds in it by trying to play such game by all means.

And again, if I find a good reason to use VPN, I've always used free VPN, I cant understand why I would have to spend money on something when there is a free one available for use, and I personally do not see the difference.
If you're going to use a VPN, I'd encourage you to use a paid one. You'll never know what's with the replacement of the free ones. And you're right that many casinos restrict the use of it but with duelbits, they've mentioned before that as long as your activities are good and not suspicious, you'll be fine.
2046  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: February 12, 2023, 11:20:10 PM
That's not really a matter when a person spends their crypto whether it's currently at a high price or during its low. The essence is there that it's being used. No matter what the price is as long as there's usage on it and an individual spends it then that's the actual use of it. But if not, then that's how a lot of us see crypto, as an investment. I think with this concern, it's important to know it because there are countries that are too strict with this implementation for crypto or any specific of it as a security.
2047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is Gambling? ChatGPT Responses. on: February 12, 2023, 10:25:15 PM
When we're bored, we can ask anything to chatgpt. All of its answers are based on the facts that are given to it but I wonder how they have programmed this AI.
It's like almost every response that it gives is near accurate but not all of it. If it's related to this topic asking a bot about what gambling is, we'll just get generic answers from it.

The AI is continuously learning through neural networks. It's like training it to speak over and over again based on the inputs that it's receiving from users and from its original data set. It's programmed in a way to learn just like the brain, and its AI is really intelligent to get accurate results/responses to whatever question it's thrown at. For the gambling aspect, well it's a pretty basic concept, and it just needs to interchange between words that it deems appropriate to use based on the nature of the question.
For those that often use it, if you don't like that it's giving answers there's now an option to pay for it. That's around $20/mo and that's going to give you faster response and some other features. This is why I don't like anything that Microsoft gets on its hand, those that they touch are becoming ugly but it's a business and a technology that's really desirable to make money out of it. Yeah, it might still be on its infancy and time will come that it will get used to its wordings and we'll see the improvement of it relatively to the topics being asked including gambling.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs of compulsive gambling on: February 12, 2023, 07:21:54 PM
3) You try to gamble more in attempt to recover loss
This is what we know, we mostly chase our losses when we gamble and it's not going to help us stop when there are still losses that need to be covered.
What we aim is to at least recover those losses that we've made and we also know where it is going. Instead of recovering those, what's happening is that we're adding more losses and that's not resulting in good.
We only realize it at the end when we've done so much and we almost got nothing left anymore in our balances.
^ I have done this before and that is why I repeatedly advise them to avoid this possible problem as much as they can, all they have to do is to put self-control so that thinking about chasing loss will not happen. This is also could be a sign of a compulsive gambler and it is not good if you will not correct yourself from the start. When I have continuous losses I usually take a break for a while and then come back when I can get over those consecutive losses. Because I know the more you will urge yourself to take cover losses, you will probably be out of your mind and can't concentrate on gambling, the result could be massive losses. Always put in our mind to be a responsible gamblers.
The pattern is obvious to us that are aware of this. There's really no way to go and we'll just end up being disappointed if we're not careful to watch out for our emotions.
Losing money will also make us lose our emotions which will result in losing more. That's why we need to look at ourselves when we're in such a situation because it's not really going to show a good ending.
You like the idea of chasing but you'll never like the result of it if you've done that several times and you've come up with nothing.

2050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People will choose bitcoins more if the number of cryptocurrency option is less. on: February 11, 2023, 09:37:39 AM
Do you agree that more people will choose to invest in bitcoins if there were not so many cryptocurrency choices although not all are good?
Even if there are various choices, many will still choose what's trusted and proven to be the strongest in the market. But I have to agree that if there's a lesser choice, there's no other way investors will go and will have to end up investing with bitcoin.
We can think of the early days when there are not that many choices for most investors and yet, those altcoins that soared before became a top choice by many investors and to this day, they're no longer popular and has lost that stardom that they've taken as a choice as an alternative for bitcoin.

2052  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: invest in bitcoin or altcoin? on: February 11, 2023, 06:37:40 AM
Control yourself OP when you're feeling greedy. You're just starting out and you'll know yourself better when you're already there.
But the best to start with is always bitcoin. Check the altcoins out when you think you've got sufficient bitcoin holdings. I started with bitcoin and later on learned some altcoins but still, nothing has changed because I sold too early and missed the greater profits. But other than that, still I'm in profit when I've made those.

I feel it is not just greed that is only the problem of op, I think he is confused and lack knowledge to know which is the best to start from. No other altcoins can be compared to bitcoin in everything.  A beginner who is planning to start investing in altcoins,  it is just as if pouring water into the basket. Bitcoin is very reliable and it is better beginners start with it,  I see investing in altcoins as playing gambling to try luck if it will work out or not.
Definitely you're right. People like OP is really confused on how they should start. They see people who have been doing well with altcoins and that's where the idea that if it's going good with the others, he thinks that it will also be awesome for him.
But that's not how it goes and it's hard to be on the same position because not every choice and investment that we do are going to have the same impact and result. He has to look at that part for him to check where he's really comfortable and good at. But without a doubt, to invest in bitcoin is the best start.

It's sad news and it seems that the whole Fnatic organization is starting to pull out their teams in every e-sport. What are those that are remaining active without such bad news? So, for now, the two that I've seen are LOL and Dota 2.
Are they in crisis? They've been known as a team and organization that's been with high-tier players and always competitive alone for every tournament and game that they participate in. They even have those sponsorships from BMW and other known brands.
2054  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: February 10, 2023, 07:06:00 PM
right now I see the price of bitcoin on an exchange which is 21750, and has decreased by approximately 6% and I want to ask everyone,
is it possible that bitcoin will return to the price of 19000? or after this decline bitcoin will go back up higher ,,,?

and also I want to know what caused the bitcoin price to drop drastically?
Every time we see bitcoin's price drop by a certain percentage, people are too worried about it. Any price that's near to it can potentially come again and regardless of the market situation now, due to its volatility then it means that any price might be hit, high or low.
It will come to your experiences that with these price changes is just going to be temporary and will still end up soon, might be a year or two with another bull run.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Features in Crypto Casinos for the Elderly on: February 10, 2023, 01:19:16 PM
I visited an uncle in another city. His birth year was 1960. He has been an avid gambler for a long time and frequently visits brick-and-mortar casinos. He currently wants to test out an crypto casino. He has heard a great deal about it. He did, however, note that despite possessing the cash, he has no knowledge of how to use cryptocurrency for gambling but would really like to. I would like to suggest that crypto casinos put a video tutorial explaining how to use cryptocurrencies for gambling on their website.
I think FAQ would be enough but I agree that if there really are older people that can't understand what's in it on those matters like deposits and withdrawals, adding some videos will help them a lot. Like the step-by-step process on how to do it but, most of them have it and they're catering to these concerns.

What other features would you like to see in crypto casinos for senior citizens?
Well, just like the normal features that we get. Maybe always remind them that they shouldn't gamble based on their emotions.

...Speaking of PSG.LGD, they're not completely going there as their pos 3 have been rejected and got to face a visa issue so he'll be switched by a stand-in player, old eleven.

Not cool. We just started the season and here comes this visa issue again. Although we do not really know the exact reason and it might be valid. But Peru being not noisy when it comes to world politics just like Singapore, I expect that country to be less harsh when it comes to visa processing. And with the new rules on DPC penalties, it hurts already for PSG.LGD. Let's just hope that the next hosts in the coming majors and the TI itself are countries with a neutral stance and not noisy on world politics to avoid possible visa problems.
I guess that's one thing that we'll always get to see when it's with these majors, minors, and even on TI. It's been a long problem that keeps on existing and Valve should help these players and have it sponsored just for the sake of avoiding getting denied by an immigration officer.
I just wish the PSG.LGD best of luck and still without their original pos 3 player, old eleven is a good player so we should see them having still a good end.
2058  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be wealthy you need have assets accumulate dca but on: February 09, 2023, 09:22:58 AM
Main mistake about DCA IS that people don't sell when there is huge price swing.
There are other mistakes that someone commits when they're DCAing but you know what's with this? It's a very subjective thing.
Something might work for me and not for you and that's in general. That's why you may see it as the main mistake that others are doing but in reality, they really have no intention of selling because from their perspective this is what they do.
DCA to have more holdings which is they're considering for the long term.
2059  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: February 09, 2023, 08:10:56 AM
I am happy to announce me and my team are developing couple of table games , that will be played versus player and multi player tournaments , a public chat room for players:
more information will be released , we are building it around a Defi Token project for it to get enough publicity for the games platform.
You should have given at least the prospect name for this project that you and your team trying to build. I've seen a lot of the same concept of projects about pvp games but didn't see many of them pursue a lot.
Not that I know of that became successful because many of them likely just gone out of the wind and that's how most of them ended with such. But let us see on your progress with this launching.

Yes, definitely.
This forum is free for everyone as long as the questions and topics are significant to the boards where you're asking them. There are traders that have started with forex and stocks and they're all discussing their techniques and sharing some of them on the Trading Discussion. But if you're for those investing-related topics then follow the links that have been suggested to you by mk 4.
