2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: December 17, 2022, 07:45:05 PM
I'm just worried about showing proof of their finances which might invite hackers to hack their casino site, I hope that doesn't happen too because so far there has never been a big case of casino sites being hacked or theft happening, now it's different from what often happens by exchange sites there are always lots of cases of crypto being hacked or theft happening for reasons that are not clear, therefore the difference between casinos and exchanges is very different, so don't just because the FTX crypto exchange case also forces casinos to do the same with exchanges
Even if they won't show finances, the hackers are already there, they're the apple of the eye of those cons the same goes with exchanges. Wherever the money is, they're also there.
And knowing that casinos got a lot of capital or bankroll, they're not just having the easiest security and protection for their system. They're investing more with security so that even if they're targeted, still they have all the protection that will push away the hackers.
2222  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: December 17, 2022, 01:17:44 PM
When you're in doubt about a casino and you did your research, just don't go on them. I haven't heard of and tried that casino and I don't go and play there if I do have not that much information on them. In fairness, to the design, I seem to like it but that's just all about the design.
And when a casino that's been asked doesn't have a thread here, there's a bigger chance that many isn't aware of it and you're on your own shoe to try it or better be safe not to.
2223  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: December 17, 2022, 11:44:08 AM
this is why we keep thinking that are those hacking are planned ? I mean there is a Inside Job since there is tons of money involved and it will be harder to prove their crimes?
It can be helped, whether you're a victim and your funds are lost there or you're just speculating and looking at the situation. The idea and thought that those hacks are the inside job will always be one of the opinions of many. But as long as there's no proof, it cannot be done.

so why aim for centralized exchange when the truth is? we are not trusting any of them for their long time operation.
I would rather use a owned wallet in which more secure than letting my funds stay in these scam excgange .
If you have to sell, you have to use exchanges. Decentralized or centralized but it's up to you if you like to use them and get your targeted coin for that sale.
But the most important matter there is you don't keep all of your funds in any exchange mostly in centralized platforms because they hold the keys for you and you don't.
2224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are we ever going to see this on gambling platforms some day. on: December 16, 2022, 10:45:20 PM
First, this topic should be in the Gambling Discussion.
PvP betting isn't a thing for most bookies and that's why platforms like this must be made if there's a demand. I think there were a few of them before that I've seen and they're not popular casinos, they have probably closed down already.
But you can do this, like setting up a thread and that's where people will find a match and you'll be the mediator of it and setting up the game for both players and how much the bet will be.
2225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education programs should cover Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. on: December 16, 2022, 09:54:13 PM
Cryptocurrency and the Blockchain should have its own courses taught at universities as well as it should have an introduction course as part of the teaching program in high school.
For cryptocurrencies, I think it's good to have a few hours or minutes of discussion through subjects like Economics and Finance. While for blockchain, it could be inserted into subjects related to technology, maybe into computer major courses, it's easy.
Because the technology sector can't ignore the market for blockchain developers and there's a huge market cap that they can see how much it will make someone focusing on this particular technology and have a career in it.
2226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 16, 2022, 06:18:38 PM
Giving tips will always depend on their service and the profit that you have made, though sometimes I’m not giving any tips even if I won simply because they didn’t do anything to help me at all so I don’t think they deserve to get it, if they are very helpful with you then this is the only time I will give a tip. This is not a requirement though, giving tip should always came from your own willingness and not just because someone forced you to do so.
Yeah, it will depend on how much you've made and as well as if you're satisfied with how they've accepted you and serviced you.
I also don't give tips even if I win and when I think that I've got not that much. We think that before giving a tip, it should be worth it and there must be something that they've done to us for us to feel that they really have to be tipped. And not to think about that much because even if we give tips, they're not a lot.
2227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This forum looks more like Altcoin Price Discussion on: December 16, 2022, 12:09:00 PM
We have Service Discussion (Altcoins), Service Announcements (Altcoins) and Mining (Altcoins) where technical discussions about altcoins are happening. Also, there's the Announcements (Altcoins) if needs to be specific talking about a project's technicality.
Yes, Ops should check and explore all the boards in Alternate cryptocurrencies so he can find threads that can fit his criteria to be discussed or made by himself, but the boards and threads that discuss prices and projects are more in demand so that the threads that discuss technical and others are drowned.
He probably hasn't visited the other sections and that's why he's curious about it. He can bring up a lot of discussion to any of those sections where he's interested in bringing technical discussions that he wants to know or might want to share.

I want to see a low volume Altcoin technical Discussion, just like the one for Bitcoin.
I think to start out, go to the mining section for altcoins and that's where I think is a good place to start. Otherwise, try to check the other sections that I've said where it's possible to discuss technical things about altcoins.
2228  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kryptosino Avoid!!! on: December 15, 2022, 11:36:25 PM
Not a thing that I've heard of them but if you've got some proofs to be added, add it to the first post so everyone would have to see the context of the fact that you've shared.
But if you can't share it on this thread because it could be sensitive and you just really can't do then many won't be convinced by what you've said unless there are also other accusations on that casino.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Better Ways To Manage Energy Consumption For Casino Centers. on: December 15, 2022, 10:45:42 PM
Before they establish their business and have it operated, I'm sure that they've got engineers or experts on it that have assisted them and given them the appropriate way of operating the business and also saving energy.
I think they've got all the means to save energy like solar energy and other types of backup that will also be usable if ever some unforeseen thing happens. I'll just leave it to their quality assurance and other dedicated staff or engineers on it.
2230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest in cryptocurrency or start my business? on: December 15, 2022, 09:50:09 PM
Investing in an established asset such as bitcoin is already a great move. And at the same time, you can divide and give each portion depending what you think is right.
You can all-in to your business if you want to or do that to bitcoin but as much as you're decided, choose what you think will make you grow. Not just by learning lessons but with the aim to be successful by doing any or both of it.

2232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 14, 2022, 02:17:55 PM
Yes, Yoo benefited a lot with this fight, having that chance to fight against the legendary Pacman it will bring more traffics to his social media accounts it means that it will bring him more money, his name at hype by after having that chance to go mainstream fighting Manny Pacquiao we don't have the figures but for sure the amount of money that Yoo earned plus the popularity, that is something that really earn him more.

No name yet, maybe they are still in the negotiating part, marketing will be the next thing after that finalized who will be his next opponent.
It's already attached to his name that whenever someone who's overheard his name, there will be a description like, "oh the one that has fought Manny Pacquiao".
It will be like that decision and he's on a win on that one because his presence in this match has brought him more traffic and sound to his name. Even he has lost, still, he's got the benefits of it through online social media presence.
2233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2022, 12:29:09 PM
Could the price of Bitcoin fall further?
Yes.
As we know, bitcoin's volatility has always been there and it will never change so the possibility is always there that bitcoin might even fall again under $17k.
There's no guarantee that it will be staying at the top like now because we're seeing that it's starting to increase again. But, despite that, you'll never be sure when the drop will come all of a sudden.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 14, 2022, 02:21:16 AM
In the CN region, I also saw Burning trying his chances to qualify for the closed qualifier and they only need one series win to make it in.
Wow, I've missed this guy and IIRC he's been like the coach or adviser to Team Aster. I guess he's got a lot of time to do some competition on his own and play as a pos 1. One more loss and he's out for the fourth try in the open qualifier.
And AFAIK, along with burning's popularity before, there's this player named, Yamateh is also back and is playing with team NerdRig.
2235  Other / Politics & Society / Re: LIFE on: December 14, 2022, 12:06:13 AM
life is inseparable from eating, sleeping, and a comfortable place to live. if there was no war in this world it would be very peaceful and serene. war will only bring pain.
That's true but there's also a sad truth about life, the world's unfair and people tell us that life's unfair. But they're only looking at themselves, at their current situation while comparing it with the good lives of others. It's really an unfair situation if they try na compare it with the others. War these days can be in many types of forms that we cannot see and the type that we know about bombs, rockets, deaths, and living.
But we all have one in common and that is of we have one life for each of us and it will depend on us how we going to spend it. Make other's life better or do harm but let's just spread the love and do good with our lives.
2236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 13, 2022, 09:02:15 PM
It's just two things;
1. True accusations with a real problem in a casino.
2. A frustrated gambler that has no one to blame yet made a story out of his frustration.
Well, there's no perfect service for each casino. It's the fact that there will always be a problem that a customer may experience because of different level of experience from the other casino, he may or may not be satisfied with the service so, that ends up with some accusations if the favor isn't on him.
2237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be responsible for your coin on: December 13, 2022, 12:22:50 PM
There’s been some scam allegations about Paxful and its CEO in the past, I don’t trust them.
What type of scam allegations were thrown at them before? They seem to be big these days even though I don't use them but I think, they've grown over the years.
He's fair to tell the reality about the advantage of custodial and non-custodial wallets. Although, it's not that surprising at all but in fairness to those customers that aren't aware of this, he's spoken up.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 13, 2022, 10:58:02 AM
This is just a question got from someone I hangout with yesterday when I introduced her to investing in BTC. She is 50+ but managed a busy small hotel and has a son who had been playing games on the computer all the time. After some discussion, I advised her to just remind the son not to gamble the BTC.

So she asked how I end up gambling online. I'm not totally a gambler at all, I started investing and somehow stray as I'm trying to win some.
She began to worry since her son is on the computer all the time and might gamble upon learning the BTC can be gambled.

Which one has a high possibility of happening, a gamer eventually becomes a gambler or an investor turns into a gambler?
But first, answer the poll which are you. Are you a gambler that become an investor or an investor that turned into a gambler?
With today's competition in esports, it's very highly likely that gamers can be turned into easy gamblers. There's no question about that and that's a high probability so the woman should really be worried about it. How old is the son then? If he's in the teenage years, well, that's one of the stages that curiosity will tick in for these youngsters. Just tell the woman that doesn't give her BTC to her son and just keep it to herself so that she's the one managing the ins and outs of the transactions.
2239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is Airdrop in Crypto? on: December 13, 2022, 09:51:06 AM
~snip~But talking about its profitability, whoever said that to you probably has been in the bounties around 2016-2017. Those were no doubt the best days for bounties and airdrops because almost any project during that time was profitable and successful. And to talk about it at these present times, try and see yourself if he's telling the truth. Because the reality is, they aren't.

2016-2017 was indeed a successful period for airdrops, I also got a lot of benefits from airdrops that year. only a few scam projects appear, more projects with various innovations provide big rewards for bounty hunters and airdrop hunters.
But inversely for now. Airdrops and bounties are no longer a place where profits are always made, there are only a few airdrops that pay very little and bounties that don't pay as expected anymore. it takes more effort to be able to produce a signature campaign, but it requires activeness and contributions in the forum.
The majority of the projects there have been profitable and almost every ICO that came out during that period has always managed to reach millions of crowdfunding.
Well, that's fun until it lasts and that's why today if there are some airdrops and bounties. You're not going to be sure if they're going to be profitable because nobody knows how the developers will manage to get along with their audience and potential investors. Gone are those days when everyone was enjoying the free money in the market although it's a bit lower than the last ATH last year, well honestly I enjoyed more the ride last year than those years.
2240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is Airdrop in Crypto? on: December 12, 2022, 11:59:34 AM
Just learned it few days ago. I heard about bounties of this forum. My friend said that bounties pays good then airdrop. what do you think about bounties?
Now I'm looking for bounties.
We've got the dedicated section for bounties -> Bounties (Altcoins).
