2881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] The internet of blockchains | XBridge | true cross-chain P2P on: March 03, 2015, 04:44:38 PM
It's unfortunately kind of a necessity to have a legal entity associated with a platform that collects and redistributes fees for its services.

Isn't the whole point of decentralised services to not have to conform to centralised rules?

Sure, the ancillary services provided by third parties can be registered companies which interact with the platform, but the platform itself, by way of being an incorporated company, just became a centralised corporate entity that uses decentralised technology.

Totally different concept to what true decentralisation is all about, which is for the platform to belong to everyone who uses it.

Now the Blocknet platform belongs to the shareholders. Whoop-de-do. Welcome to corporate America crypto-people, now, do as we say.

It would definitely appear that there has been a concerted effort made to infiltrate this thread and derail it by GAWshills.

The math doesn't add up any ways you try to spin it. Thousands upon thousands of coins being produced each day into GAW's pockets, email trails showing collusion amongst company and family members to sell off massive amounts of coins during periods where they have sought to claim numerous promises were about to be delivered on, only for it never to materialise and, in the meantime, the delusional faithful continue to think they can buy 'cheap' coins at current prices.

The infiltrators in this thread seek to plant the seeds of, "Hey it might be dodgy as fuck, but you can still make money off the back of it so buy buy buy!!!!!".

That is the only thing happening with the price right now, speculators being drawn in to the lie that, even if it is scammy, there's more action to come so you might as well ride the waves. Until of course you do exactly what they want you to do and end up holding the bag.

2885  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: February 26, 2015, 09:45:31 AM
Everyone instinctively knows about God and sin.

Bullshit. This is just more of the same arbitrary declaration of a 'fact' you like to pull out of your arse.

I had to explain to my children the meaning of the word 'sin'. They were appalled. They know the difference between what is right and wrong, just and unjust and they are kind and compassionate human beings. But they do not believe in any of the theist nonsense you spout because there is no way to justify a belief in it in the first place. So I would be reduced to indoctrinating them through lies and delusions, instead of educating them and encouraging them to question every 'normalised' social construct.

To teach them that there are actions which would otherwise be benign that are considered as 'sinful' by one group of , "We're more special than you" people, whilst also explaining to them that there also exists a whole range of other 'sinful' acts which are declared thusly by a different group of, "We're more special than you" people, results in them, rightly, considering that much of the world is quite insane and mentally unstable.

What are you doing in this thread anyway? Did you even order a unit?

Nice comeback, you really defended yourself there. I'll just stick with referring you to my previous comment

Basically it`s your own fault you got scammed. You must be nuts ordering Asics for some guy on the Internet called Mohammed.

This is your second bullshit post in the same page of the thread, please take your vile racism, your pompous arrogance and derision, shove them up your arse and kindly fuck off.
2887  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 24, 2015, 11:32:38 AM
You guys are allowing Vlad2Vlad to derail this discussion from "How to we bring down Josh Garza, Gaw, Paycoin?"  to "What are the merits of paycoin." You should know better than to fall for this shit after 1150 pages.

Very disappointing.  If I wanted to read such a discussion I would go to hashtalk.

This isn't a discussion on 'bringing him down' this is discussion exposing just how ludicrous the whole Homeroshambles situation is.

Otherwise you're playing into his claims that there is 'conspiracy' to blame for its failings.

2888  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 24, 2015, 07:06:04 AM
@vlad

Seriously, have you not been reading the leaked conversations from last November where Josh spouts on to Rishab that XPY is so incredible and innovative that there were going to be laws written around it, that Paypal and Mastercard were adopting it, Walmart, Target, Amazon etc. etc. and on and on.

He exhibits the symptoms of a delusional fantasist.

What about the amazing tech innovations of this coin? Let's see now, it is Proof of Stake and . . . .erm . . . that's it.

You are more than welcome to choose to gamble however you wish but don't come into this conversation attempting to support King Homero's pathetic blaming of 'FUD' for the fact that none of these commercial tie-ins were ever proven to be real, even to the point that some companies specifically stated that there was absolutely no connection between their company and anything Garza was claiming and there never had been.

I've seen similar stunts pulled before with Travis Mitchell from 'TRUST' coin who once tried to claim Western Union were interested in his coin by the fact he figured out they had a habit of re-tweeting anything positive that was tweeted to them, so he tweeted them something along the lines of 'thanks for the constructive meeting, I am looking forward to working with you', to which they re-tweeted it with a generic "you're welcome", making it look like they were confirming what he had said about them being interested in his coin, only days after they had shat all over bitcoin.

This is the same type of technique Josh used with the photos of him in waiting rooms apparently about to be interviewed by major news outlets etc.

In fact, in my opinion, Travis wants to be Josh and Josh wants to be Elon Musk.

I ask you Vlad, go back to the string of leaked emails where Josh is doing in private what he later also was claiming in public, which is to assert his coin was so technically advanced that government agencies and commercial vendors were queuing up to get on board the XPY train. Only, according to him, the 'FUD' from people pointing out the massive inconsistencies and outright lies suggestive of a Ponzi-based business plan is what caused every one of these major companies to change their minds? Because that is what multi-national global corporations do, right? Before they enter into business partnerships they don't bother looking at the actual facts, the paperwork, the companyh structure and financials, no, they log on to bitcointalk to see if their potential partner is getting bad reports from anonymous internet users who are all ganging together to destroy this astounding coin.

Yeah, that sound plausible.

BADecker, this is you in a nutshell:

Quote
Apparently, Bill O’Reilly has never heard of the moon. In a debate Tuesday with Dave Silverman, head of the American Atheist group behind this, the Fox host tried to prove the existence of God by citing the unknowable mysteries of the tides. “I’ll tell you why [religion is] not a scam, in my opinion,” he told Silverman. “Tide goes in, tide goes out. Never a miscommunication. You can’t explain that. You can’t explain why the tide goes in.”

Silverman looked stunned. “Tide goes in, tide goes out?” he stuttered. O’Reilly pressed on. “The water, the tide—it comes in and it goes out. It always goes in, then it goes out. … You can’t explain that. You can’t explain it.” Of course, Raw Story points out, people who passed high school science might tell you that tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon as it orbits the earth. But Silverman had a better response: “Maybe it’s Thor up on Mount Olympus who’s making the tides go in and out."

Now, you probably are just a little bit smarter than Bill ORLY O'Reilly, in that I'm hoping you do understand what causes tidal movement on this planet. But the point is still the same, in that you sit back in your deck-chair, gazing up at the night sky and simply declare everything to be so incomprehensibly complicated that it absolutely positively could only ever be created by an omnipotent super-being whom we are only able to discern the truth of through various ancient writings, you know, what with there being nothing more to go by since the various ancient writings were authored and so we'll just go right ahead and accept that, whatever has been written about the omnipotent super-being must be true because its all we have in terms of data and a bunch of bronze-age goat-herders clearly knew far more about the hidden secrets of The Universe than we could ever hope to discern with our new-fangled scientific reasoning n'all.

BTW, before you go for the ol', "Yeah, well, the fact is that the environment is just so damn perfect for us on earth, what are the chances of that, hmmmmm? Must have been designed to be that way!"

Pro-tip, if things were not 'just right' for biological life to exist on this planet do you know what would have happened? Nothing, biological life wouldn't have thrived in the first place and we wouldn't be here to claim that everything must have been designed because it fits us so well. There's billions of planets out there which, also, will be suitable for biological life, along with billions which won't be.

Numbers, huge numbers and time, massive amounts of time. That's what created us and every other living thing in this Universe that we haven't met yet.

More importantly, as was pointed out repeatedly when this first launched, where is the claimed, "cutting edge of technology" for this coin?

The *only* argument they ever had was that one about, "Well you can't really have true TOR anonymity unless all the clients on a coin network are routing through TOR". Setting TOR as the 'default' option is hardly cutting edge tech and they were called out for this lack of innovation and gave a response that pretty much went along the lines of "Nuh-huh, because that's why, FUDDER!!11!!1!"

Genius.

A doozy:

Quote
Lies,broken promises,and mismanagement
First let me introduce myself my name is Jim I am the CEO of cryptoprepaid.com.My partners and I have been working on this project nonstop for months now, we were all very dedicated members of this community.Since GAW could not come through with any features we took It upon ourselves to get this done for the community. We launched our presale 2 weeks ago and we were contacted by gaw about being exclusive to paycoin for 3 months.Because they are not even close to having one ready. When we were contacted by Mr. Garza he wanted to have us make an announcement and wanted to send us btc to help fund us that night on the spot.I did not want to accept anything without a written agreement In place. He had us spend money and time on writing an agreement then refused to sign the agreement, even though It stated what was agreed to.This caused a lot of suspicion by me and my partners because he wanted to just send us btc with no contract or without consulting his lawyers. This should concern every member of this community because there have been so many excuses about lawyers. This caused us to consult our lawyer and he advised us to not do business with someone like this, after doing his own due diligence. This week we revisited the issue to see if we could still help to bring you features. We were prepared to offer a free card to anyone who wanted one on Paybase and to lower our fees for paybase customers. We were met with an arrogant, unresponsive, and clueless CEO,as many others have described who have seen behind the curtain of lies.I have sold all of my Paycoin and I will no longer support Paycoin. I will encourage you to get out while you still can now that I have seen how this company operates.I have not complained and have been one of the most dedicated members of this community, investing my own money to bring us features that Mr. Garza failed to follow through with.It Is really tough because I care deeply for this community that's why I took the bull by the horns and worked so hard day and night to make this card possible. That Is why I am telling you this because I care.We will be sending our cards out to customers in a few days but we will not be accepting paycoin. When we start sending out cards in a few days we will be lowering the fees to get the card and to reload the card significantly. In closing I encourage everyone on HT to look at all the promises and failure of leadership, It all points to one person. The buck stops at you Mr.Garza you are the only common denominator to this epic failure.Your arrogance has alienated not only the crypto community at large, but the bulk of your own community.

I see what you did there, very good.

My point about 'Huey' is that I suspect it is a sockpuppet account where His Majesty has had somebody else write the OP and then he takes over again to post his usual garbled nonsense.
2896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 18, 2015, 10:38:00 AM
Shit, while we're at it I'd just like to address our American friends who keep erroneously saying, "I could care less", when what they actually mean is, "I couldn't care less".

After all, if you could care less than you do now, then you care some already.

Get it?

/offtopic

BTW, has anyone noticed how HT user 'Huey' seems to post two styles of writing, one verbose and grammatically correct, the other pretty much exactly like His Royal Highness of Hash replete with incorrect spelling and jumbled sentences?

Sure, because we're not at all dealing with a situation where leaks seemingly exonerating His Majesty and putting the blame on 'Legal' can be included in the list of lies and deception which is the trademark of this XPY debacle.

It is rational to be suspicious of any new posts which still pertain to leaked information suggesting there is money to be made through this ponzi scheme.

2899  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 15, 2015, 01:43:43 AM
Is there even any evidence to suggest this 'Rishab' is even a real person?

I'm getting the feeling he's as real as all those innovative ground-breaking features XPY was launched with.

As I said, my money is on this latest leak being no different from the earlier ones, namely, an intentional attempt to suggest that inside information now PROVES that the $20 per coin is going to happen, you know . . . .pump.

2900  Other / Off-topic / Re: Scientific proof that God exists? on: February 15, 2015, 12:59:17 AM
If, reality is mental construct (and it provably is; i.e. made from/by mind), then reality is intelligently designed (axiomatic) and therefore we can practically call it God.  However, if you want me to leave the word "God" out of that, I have no problem with that.  I'm perfectly happy just calling reality intelligently designed.

It's this I have a problem with mostly, the 'reality is a mental construct . . . therefore Intelligent Design'.

Reality of the mind is not the same for everyone. Ask somebody suffering from mental illness about their reality, or the demon-haunted world of the theist for that matter, reality exists outside of our minds and provably so by way of technology which can describe reality in an entirely unbiased and functionally objective way. A Geiger counter measures something our minds cannot detect, so where is mental construct for the existence of things which can only be proven as existing when we develop and employ tools which have capabilities we do not possess?

Reality, The Universe and how it actually functions, versus our imagined reality full of erroneous and flawed perceptions. Where is the provable mental construct of the actual reality of The Universe? There isn't one because we have yet to develop the vast depth of knowledge required to know all of reality in order to accurately paint it as a mental construct. Instead we imagine our own personal realities, and that's not Intelligent Design in the sense of the theistic 'God', that's simply the sentient intelligence of our functioning brain, purely subjective psychology/neurology and, what's more, not at all the topic of conversation for this thread which is related to the discussion of the 'reality' which is The Universe. Well, that and the arbitrarily assigned characteristics of a monotheistic God able to exist outside our Universe by way of anything we care to imagine, frankly.
