2921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XJO] Joulecoin | SHA256 | Quick transactions | Transaction comments on: November 26, 2014, 02:04:26 PM
I'm mining it because I like the name and metrics...  The issue with sending the coin skywards is you have to have the capital to put up a buy wall to keep it there..  Although even 20k USD would allow you to go nuts and put up a large buy wall.

I really really like the min payout amount for mining, IMO BTC should have one but that will never happen.

So yes.. I am mining it to keep the house warm lol.

I cannot see this coin dropping past $4k market cap Wink.

if people generally agree this coin will survive it is under value for sure. The halving is a bit long (1 year would have been long enough) but still.
Some good PR, some polishing and it can be many times the price.

6k$ cap is under value. This can do much better.  Wink

IMO it needs a purpose and/or people like Amagi metals need to accept it.

The hashrate will never drop below 180 Ghash, muhahahah!

2923  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon millions of men will be having sex with female robots on: November 25, 2014, 07:27:44 PM
These robots are not capable of self-awareness, and as of right now, it's assumed that creating an inorganic-artificial being with the ability to be self aware and process their own thoughts and actions indepently, is likely not possible.

So, with that being said, having sex with these robots would be like using your hand or other devices. Plus, visual attraction isn't the only type, smell's also involved, touch, hell even taste, all of which robots lack atm.

However, if such a thing(robot) is created that is self aware, well....goodbye biological women. JK  Cheesy

Robots do not have to lack smell, taste or the ability to touch you back...

If they were self aware this would be sex slavery.

Why destroy nature?  Nature is perfect.
Find a girl and have sex with her.  Man is not going to create something better than that.  Man's creations are imperfect, for we are just replicating the perfect processes of nature.
Dank you're totally missing the point. Robots are not made to replace love relation but to replace illegal prostitution. There is no love when you fuck little kids or beaten-prostitutes for money and no, nature is not "perfect" or "beautiful" that's only an opinion.
Do you think someone that rapes kids will stop raping kids so he can pretend to instead?
Remove money and prostitution is obsolete.  There are other solutions.

I never said that illegal prostitution would disappear but it will necessarily lower with time as robots improve.
Yes people with "deviant sexual attraction" will be satisfied with robots, that's the reason sex toys is one of the biggest growing market.

Robots could make prostitution obsolete if it improve so much that none can tell the difference with humans.

It is not money that is getting obsolete but the idea that wealth is spread among citizen according to hours of work.
Work as we know is getting obsolete. Robots can do everything better than us except creativity.

For now.

2926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One event ...could hyper-accelerate adoption on: November 25, 2014, 07:19:39 PM
Would Paypal be able to freeze your account and your bitcoins? I've heard some horror stories about people when keeping large values in paypal.

Definitely would bring it more to the masses for sure though.

Of coarse they would be able too.

Unless you and only you know your private key your bitcoins are not yours.

No longer does anyone have the right to protect themselves and their wealth with just force against those given unlimited power.
2928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: United we stand, divided we fall - the coming rise of cryptofiat on: November 11, 2014, 08:48:43 PM
THIS IS WHY I MINE!!!

I mine to ensure I can cast a vote when the powers that be attempt to take over bitcoin to control the population.

The ability to black list wallets, coins, etc is very possible if BTC is controlled  by several govs.  If they get the hashing power it's over for us, MINE FOR FREEDOM!

2931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stuxnet and bitcoin... on: November 11, 2014, 03:33:59 PM
I think Stux could be modified to do something like this. There would be a lot of ways to counter it however. The stux worm released on Iran was very sophisticated and was able to ferret out specific types of equipment. But why bitcoin?

Central banks wish to eliminate any threat to them at any cost to humanity.
