It's definitely not going to be easy to slay this Bear.  That trend line is well established.

Party at my house when we're at $284.00!

I dunno.. I have a feeling we will hear "HUMILIATION" as it dies.  An epic kinfe kill incoming we are just sneaking up ATM.
1962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: June 30, 2015, 06:53:08 PM
Sooo about LTC being dead..

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE
1963  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month. on: June 30, 2015, 06:52:11 PM
Remeber boys, this guy called a low of $200 when BTC was at $500... that was a SOLID FREAKING CALL.

You have my attention op.
1964  Economy / Speculation / Re: Condolences to the bitcoin die hards on: June 30, 2015, 06:50:17 PM
No Way!.........unless sha256 is compromised.
It's not a problem if sha256 is broken, and this was already said by Satoshi, so it's just a matter of changing algo.

not an easy task as you think, because what miners can do then? get rid of their whole 300 peta hash and start all over again...no way it would be one of the biggest waste of money...

it would mean the death of bitcoin as we know it now

What else could you possibly do..... If sha256 was broken the miners would be worthless instantly bitcoin would HAVE to change the algo.  Once one can solve private keys from public it's gg for SHA256.

GPU's would rise again from the ashes.
1965  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hard crash is imminent because of Greece on: June 30, 2015, 06:12:43 PM
We should setup a relief fund for this poor early investor that sold out.
1966  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not yet on: June 30, 2015, 06:11:14 PM
If we held between 240-260 for a bit that would be pretty sweet imo.
1967  Economy / Economics / Re: Massive Program Buy in Crypto Last Week? (15 June 2015) on: June 30, 2015, 06:10:11 PM
Next week will be interesting, as we should see what will happen in Greece.
Since from the date of your comments, it is almost one week has been passed, still there is no such bad impact occur to the any of the currencies, although Euro has pegged down to a bit, soon it will recover once the Greece problems resolved amicably.

What... LTC has skyrocketed BTC is over $260...

what the hell are you talking about..?

1969  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is no one betting what will be the price of BTC at the end of July? on: June 29, 2015, 07:51:32 PM
We are all betting by selling or buying or shorting.

I for one sold last night.

Timing is certainly not your strong suit..

1) Buy when kwukduck says sell.

2) Sell when he says buy.

3) Profit?

The problem is all he says is sell.
At least he is consistant!
1970  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What is maximum? on: June 29, 2015, 07:19:22 PM
Maybe a quantum miner that can do SHA 256 is under development somewhere in the world  Grin

well if someone builds it and it is 100ph at 10 kwatts he need not sell it .  He could run it self mining.

It would be best not to control 50% of the mining power if your mission is not to destroy bitcoin.
1971  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CHINA -Is there Companies/People Who manufactures the ASICs Chips for BTC mining on: June 29, 2015, 07:16:47 PM
why go to china just order a Smart Miner they are beast

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC boom? on: June 29, 2015, 07:14:55 PM
You think bitcoin is doomed because of a block size increase?  Lol

Yup, the slow march to centerlization and the birth of Centralbankcoin.
1973  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Lesser Known Physical Crypto Coins, Paper Wallets on: June 29, 2015, 07:06:26 PM
You should take a picutre of all of them and post it here!  That is a lot of different wallets!
1974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why LTC boom? on: June 29, 2015, 07:03:15 PM
Odds are BTC forks to it's doom thus alts are getting attention.

The idea that blockchain can be 100 000 gigs in size and everything will be fine is a pipe dream.

If we fork to XT expect MASSIVE booms in altcoins.  Perhaps POS(PPC) will be the way to go.
1975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Chinese mining pools propose 8MB block size on: June 29, 2015, 06:39:32 PM
Well I would recommend holding some major Alt coins as a blockchain in the 100's of Ts will kill BTC.
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Chinese mining pools propose 8MB block size on: June 29, 2015, 06:23:33 PM
Gavincoin's idea of doubling every 2 years is not a good one.

if they cannot propose another better idea, then we need to accept that, i mena we can't wait forever until someone come up with an idea, now i'm starting to believe that this problem should have solved much early, with the fork of 2013

thus you don't need today to fork again and at that time, chinese were not controlling 60% of the network, and playing the dictator's game...

You can accept it, I will not.

I don't have an issue with BTC costing $5-10 to send and using something like Bitshares to buy coffee with and Bitcoin to store wealth.

I do have an issue, though. Why should I need to change currency just to be able to buy coffee? It's just not worth the effort.

Same reason people use to have copper AND gold.

I believe that people will own a handful of currencies in the near future.  The altcoins have been completely underestimated.

The same reason people have a savings account and checkings.

A visa and a line of credit.

On of my best buddies is a construction site super, the contractors constantly give him things under the table to ensure they get the next contract.

New site is coming up? GUESS who just got handed $500, guess who's getting the contract.

Scratch my back I'll sctrach yours.

This thread should be "Why you NEVER SELL all of a risky investment for a 100% profit"
