2981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: February 26, 2018, 08:20:08 AM
it's depend on where you live.. in a few country bitcoin is illegal, and in a few country gambling is illegal, some countries also banned both.. like indonesian or other country.
When bitcoin is illegal to that country = gambling with bitcoin is illegal either.
And if gambling is illegal to that country = bitcoin is illegal = gambling with bitcoin is illegal too. But with Indonesia, I don't know that bitcoin and gambling is banned there.
Do you have strong proof that it is?
2982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: best sport betting site? on: February 26, 2018, 08:06:45 AM
Buddy I had included Bitsler ,because I was impressed with that.
But its off topic to say and suggest that bitsler is included to those websites that is best in sports betting.
3.Betcoin
I'm not going to include betcoin with the "best" sports betting website, I'd rather go with onehash or nitrogensports. If you're lucky enough and you had won with them, look at the trust page of their account and you'll regret including them to your list. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=202115
You are impressed with slots right? look at the current rating given to them.
2983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: February 26, 2018, 07:54:25 AM
For someone that doesn't know what to do with his earning needs to look for something where he can allocate his earnings. And if you are serious of leaving gambling, you should not let yourself engage with any gambling tool, casino, app or anything that's related to gambling. Take time to meditate and look for yourself and what you really want. This can give you a lot of space on knowing what you really want in this world and it can definitely help you stay away from gambling.
2984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin gambling on: February 25, 2018, 11:58:18 PM
How safe is bit coin gambling is it worth?
Safe in a way that there's no need for verification process or any survey before you can gamble. If you don't want to go outside of your house, it's worth it.
If yes and than how to play and where to play?
You can google those games that caught your attention and there many casino's where you can play, like mine Onehash.
can now make a living on this gambling?
For professional gamblers, yes but for normal or casual gamblers it's not. Are you planning to gamble and use it as source for living?

Now some casinos doing verification process to withdraw your winning amount don't choose this kind of casinos.

We have a number of online gambling sites just check it in this forum gambling section.

personal advice never choose this option living on this gambling it will spoil your life.
Other gamblers will choose those casino's that are requiring verification for security purposes and its an initiative that they are not just a nuisance casino. We may find it odd for a crypto based casino who are requiring verification but that's what they are looking for. But if you find a casino that is trustworthy and isn't even requiring verification stay on it. Good advice though also add this one that you better not to try out those new casino's that doesn't have a big amount of bankroll.
2985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your Dice gambling strategy? on: February 25, 2018, 11:31:33 PM
My strategy in gambling dice is to gain profits about 5% a day. If target has been achieved, i will continue tomorrow. Gambling about greed, so i have to set target everytime i am gambling.
5% a day isn't so bad at all, it's a good strategy if you are gambling everyday and whole day long. But to consider 5% as enough profit you need to have big bankroll so that you can see to it that 5% would be enough for you. You need to have at least 0.05 BTC to have a good return with 5% everyday. My strategy that I'm trying now is 10% but this is hard to achieve in my situation, I'm lacking of time to chase profit and losses as well.
2986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does crypto market decline affect your gambling? on: February 25, 2018, 11:13:50 PM
I just lowered a bit from what i usually play. Effect of current rate on gambling habits isn't very visible for me. It's also a coincidence that i only gamble occasionally.
I did this also, lowering the bets that I used to play higher due to the USD value is going down. But what I like before when the value is quite high, I'm happily gambling with a very tiny amount of bitcoin and I consider it as a big one but now when the bet is too low, its literally low so it did affected my gambling bets. I'm looking forward to see again the high price of bitcoin so that I can back again happily gambling with the lowest bet that I can be.
2987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why kyc is even required? on: February 23, 2018, 08:19:21 PM
I just wonder what would a gambling site do with those documents they require related to KYC.
They can keep it and store it as their evidence if something goes wrong. Just like other websites or establishments that are requiring some documents for their services but when they are done, nothing happens as its only stored to their database / vaults.
It would just make the process of payment (of winnings) longer.
As others explained, their government maybe requiring it or they are pushed to implement it and they just want to obey and protect their business.
For sure anyone would think twice of submitting their personal infos to those gambling platforms.
But if its your money to cash out, you have to follow.

It is because now a days most of the companies are auditing, so in this case they need to get clear idea about how much investment and through whom they are getting. While maintaining those it will safeguard for future transactions.
They audit but I think it's not necessary. What they have to audit? Those who have win? there's a point of requiring KYC but the closest reason and idea is because of the gov'ts requirement to them. For the casino it will be a safety net but for those who gambles that wants to stay anonymous, they are no longer anonymous as their identities will be exposed to the management and if someone goes wrong the identities can be leaked but this is only an IF.
2988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 23, 2018, 07:39:01 PM
great performance in the night for S.Curry with 44 points 6 rebounds and 10 assists and an incredible 8/11 by 3 points. Golden state won against the tough Los Angeles Clippers 134-127.
Great play for Stephen Curry so this is the usual Steph that we are waiting for. I'm not a fan of him but when he's showing great performances, I'm always amazed. LAC may lost to this game but they are also a tough team to consider.
Cleveland is a team under construction and in fact lost 110-103 against Washington. Cleveland is likely to lose other positions in his conference.
1 more lose and they are tied up with the ranking with Washington or if Wizards will against Hornets, they might go to the 3rd spot.

2990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: February 21, 2018, 08:39:57 PM
I think the main reason why people needs and prefer to gamble because they want an easy to get earnings, less efforts and time.
I can't disagree on this, when I gamble that's the only thing that I'm thinking. I have to win, with less effort and time. I want it the fastest way and that's my mindset, you can't blame me since I have won some good amount before and it stick to my mind that it can happen again.
In gambling people tend to satisfy their earnings from gambling even they take risk out of it.
That risk is worth it when you taste the fruit of winning but it will be sad and regretful when you lose.
2991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 21, 2018, 08:08:24 PM
I think it is almost impossible for Cleveland to win the Eastern Conference, the Gap is too high to be recovered in 25 games. But if Cleveland is in good shape and will find the right solutions can safely win against Boston and Toronto at the Playoffs.
There's no need to race for the #1 rankings, they can still get into the playoffs if they are qualified. The matches will be tough but if they are lucky and they are playing very well, they deserve the spot to the next level but they can't belittle those board leaders now. Raptors and Celtics are improved now and I'm surprised that the Raptors managed to lead the Eastern Conference.

2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: February 14, 2018, 06:30:18 PM
I honestly believe that this make alts useless (say, by the end of the year), your thoughts?
Not all but we are going there that we might seen a bigger progress and development with bitcoin as it's getting all the attention from the stage. I'm thinking about that before as I'm a bitcoin only investors way back then but when I'm started to and recognize that there's also a good flow of money in the circulation of altcoins, they are no longer ignored. But we are talking about the future here and you might be right and I may be wrong. Bitcoin will remain even without those alts but those alts won't if there's no btc.
2995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment on: February 14, 2018, 05:16:32 PM
Invest In Good ICO Grin Grin
You can't say that just invest in a good ICO. There are too many ICO's to choose and if you're not lucky enough and you are lack of research from that ICO, you can even get scammed. I'm not generalizing that all of them are scams but make sure that when you'll invest choose the best that fits your interest.
Hey at the moment is better to invest in mining !!!!!
There's lack of information as the OP didn't indicated on how much electricity cost in his place. Btw, what mining is that?
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet.com shamless on: February 14, 2018, 07:29:08 AM
myetherwallet.com admin and his team is very very shameless and giving hackers to chance to hakeing
Are you sure that MEW team is giving information to hackers? How come that information are given away through these hackers. AFAIK, that's why they are called hackers because they are stealing information, money or anything that they are interested online.
why not improve security like e mail or sms code before loging?
Are you a victim of a phishing link? I guess the problem is with you and you are hacked and fooled by a simple phishing website that looks like the same with MEW. I've been using MEW since then and there's nothing wrong that I can complain, be responsible as a user.
2997  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Does blockchain.info keeps my private key? on: February 14, 2018, 06:24:28 AM
Does blockchain.info keeps my private key(s) in their wallets of database? I am referring to the wallets on their website.
What other private information do they use?
When I registered on blockchain.info they have provided me mnemonic words but I have no idea if they are still providing this key.
If you have privacy concern, i suggest you to use Desktop wallet, whether it's SPV or full nodes wallet such as Electrum and Bitcoin Core.
Bitcoin core is one of the oldest and trusted wallet of all time but I'm not using it anymore since it requires to download the whole network. Electrum is a good choice but there are also good wallets that are indicated to https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
2998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to Millionaire! on: February 14, 2018, 05:00:56 AM
Based on what information? Or are you just guessing?
He's just giving his points about what he can feel for bitcoin for the next months to come. I thought that upon viewing this thread I'll see a good opinion on why bitcoin will make its investors to millionaires but that's disappointing to see such generics thoughts.
no more going down.
Don't be too confident. Bitcoin isn't playing this way, I'm against to bitcoin going down but don't tell such words that you have no basis. How long have you been in the crypto world to say this statement? Markets are moving unstably and there's no way to predict that it's no longer going down.
2999  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other Decent Bitcoin Forums? on: February 14, 2018, 04:41:24 AM
There are so many scammy/spammy ones out there.
What's your concern through the forum? Are you even transacting with somebody that tries out to scam you? You need to generalize as all of the communities does have people who are acting like that. Acting that they all want to earn quick and the easiest way is to scam people so it's not only happening here in forum. That's why there's a trust system that we can base our trust to someone before taking up a deal and also there's a middle man (escrow) who's willing to help, you can tip or pay them for their service.
What are your other favorite bitcoin forums?
I'll agree with potatochips, r/bitcoin which theymos is also a moderator on it.
3000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware wallet or erc20 what is the best solutions for keep erc20 on: February 13, 2018, 10:03:13 AM
I heard that many peoples are complained that their myether wallet has been hacked.they used directoly keystore file or private key to log to MEW. These ways are not a recommend ways i saw two good recommend options to log MEW
1Using metamasak wallet
2 Using a hardware wallet like trezor or nano ledger

So my question is what is the best solution to protect my erc20 using a metamask? or using a hardware wallet ? Or any other option
  • Just don't log in to a very suspicious website.
  • Bookmark those web wallets that you are using so that you will redirected to the right and legit website.
  • Don't publish your private keys on the web, email, social media accounts and notepad on your computer. Why notepad is also included? Once your PC is infected, hackers can penetrate to your files.
  • Write your private keys in a piece of paper.
