301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market too big to ignore, says Nigeria SEC on: February 22, 2021, 03:53:24 PM
At this rate i feel like the Nigeria SEC is trying to do the right thing after messing up; but i feel it is a lost battle already; because with established peer 2 peer options on Okex, Binance, Roqqu etal. Do you see binance allowing direct deposits and withdrawals once again ?

I feel like government decided to retrace their steps after noticing drop in taxes due to the ban on banks from facilitating crypto currency transactions; so my question is would the government maintain their stance to allow crypto transactions even if binance refusing to use a Nigerian bank account like before ?
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Never Be in a hurry on: February 22, 2021, 03:46:00 PM
Experience in crypto currency has taught me never to be in an hurry to buy a crypto currency token or to join a crypto currency trade pair; The same applies when you are to sell a coin or close a trade pair; never be in a hurry. Sometimes before investing huge; you can buy as low as 5-20$ and use that to monitor the coin prices for the project you want to invest or trade on; Experience also helps, so continue to trade, learn lessons and become better

And also, before you sell a coin or close a trade; choose the same method; sell in batches; as it moons; the first batch would be your capital and little profit; the second batch would be more profits; never close your trades at once; and also remember, never enter a trade at once.
303  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge on: February 21, 2021, 03:28:46 PM
Trading without knowledge and experience is like sitting on a time bomb; ofcourse the profits would be massive amongst but then it would vanish too; the same way it has come lol.

To be successful in trading; you must have a trading pattern, process and strategies that guides when to buy or sell or take profit or cut loss. Leaning helps you win alot in crypto currency. You can learn more from the thread  Follow a trading process.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria will overtake India in P2P on: February 20, 2021, 11:04:23 AM
It is no secret that India is currently leading P2P among emerging markets or countries traded bitcoin in a restricted environment. Countries as India, Ghana, the Philippines, Argentina, Mexico and Egypt are all relying majorly on peer-to-peer, my thought therefore is that with the ban from open dealings and transactions from bitcoin in Nigerian banks , Nigeria may overtake the India record of leading the P2P emerging market in a year or two.

One reason to point to this is the Nigerian crypto population which showed in Nigeria position as number two in bitcoin market.

I do not know much about the volumes of p2p in India, Ghana, the Philippines, Argentina, Mexico and Egypt; but NIGERIA holds the biggest blockchain market in Africa; be it p2p or trades; or itself bitcoin and crypto currency adoption. And it is sad the government has refused to embrace bitcoin; because if they did; it could make Nigeria the blockchain hub for Africa; the ban meanwhile will increase the p2p market trading volume definitely.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to detect and discover rise and explosion alt coins ? on: February 20, 2021, 10:59:07 AM

i have a question :
how to detect rise and explosion altcoins 1 or 2 day befor ?

is there a way ?
example : monitor rsi x or cci x ? or ?

This looks related to technical analysis and fundamental analysis; if you are able to properly chart out a trade chart and interpret correctly; then you are able to have a trade information and also how it plays out in few days and sometimes weeks. But first you need to understand how trading works; learn fa and ta; and also do your own research. It is not a day's job

308  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed NGN banks blocking account, what could be the outcome on the economy? on: February 17, 2021, 08:18:45 AM
Story trending around the web is that, the banks in Nigeria has started carrying out the directive of the Central Bank of nigeria to close all accounts found to be transacting with the cryptocurency industry. Evidence has been posted on twitter which includes, email sent by the banks, chat with customer care etc indicating that their account has been shutdown due to their involving with the not regulated industry.

Tuesday evening, James Chijindu went to a mall in Lagos to grab a meal and groceries. When it came time to pay, his Guaranty Trust Bank and First Bank debit cards were unresponsive. So he called a GTBank helpline and the message was clear; Chijindu’s account was closed in accordance with the directive of the Central Bank of Nigeria asking commercial banks to stop facilitating cryptocurrency transactions in Nigeria.

Well, I haven't seen any citizen affected physically, the evidences online are quite convincing which got me wondering if I'll be next since my account has crypto involvement all over due to my kind of business and I bank with both banks in the forefront of this exercise.  Now I'm trying to understand what this news will have on the Nigeria economy and the stock market understanding that this development must be targeted at certain companies or individuals opposing the government.

When incidence like this occurs, the economy suffers greatly directly or indirectly; if you watched the news last night; Nigeria inflation hits an all time high of 20.57% which does not even speak the reality as there are inflation in fuel prices as of today. Also international bodies are seeing how banks close up accounts without following legal proceedings, investors are leaving the Nigeria market; and fdi is nothing to write home about.

The outcome honestly; is unfair on citizens.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: How to find the best crypto projects to invest in? on: February 16, 2021, 12:39:44 PM
The best way to find the best crypto projects is to go through coingecko, coinmarketcap; crypto currency analytics telegram channel to follow a project; you do your own research and discover if the project would be worth in on the long run. You can also check up on bitcointalk.org ann thread
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Build an Altcoin Portfolio successfully? on: February 16, 2021, 08:39:13 AM
Smiley Altcoin season has started, you need to build a good portfolio. Who has experience, write your strategies for building a portfolio of promising coins.

 Huh
How do you select promising coins?
How many coins should be in an investment portfolio?
How do I buy, all at once or in part over the course of a month?
How to deversify risks and rebalance ?

 Roll Eyes My TOP-5 Altcoins:

1. Uniswap
2. Bao Finance
3. Chainlink
4. Ethereum
5. Aave

I suggest we discuss your strategies and ideas here!

You have listed 5 tokens who are no longer promising tokens but prominent already. Altcoins portfolios are one that you need great investment consistency to set up especially if you are looking promising tokens. For me, i will take 1inch, Bifi, and kusama tokens. You should always research and dig up gems, research the token; study the price movement before making your move.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Crypto Pump Island a scam or legit? on: February 15, 2021, 02:00:19 PM
hey guys,
i found this group called "Crypto Pump Island" on telegram..
They are doing Pump and Dumbs....and are selling a Premium Membership.
So my question is: is this Premium Group worth it ? And has anyone of you any expierences with this premium group ?
thanks in advantage

Well i will explain to you how it works. Those telegram peeps have tokens that they have bought at a very low price; they lure several people in and preach buy the dump. They set sell orders vulnerable peeps to buy and dump the tokens on you.

Why would you need a premium group when the forum itself offers you every trading guides you would need? Learn to trade by yourself.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin did you make the most money from? on: February 14, 2021, 08:00:15 PM
For me, that had to be Ripple. I traded for 100%+ thrice and still holding a position at $0.40.
My next coins are:

1) Ripple
2) ADA
3) Bitcoin
4) Ethereum

What's yours?

Ada has been a very good investment option; and even at that it still has the potentials to do x3 of its present value; for this reason i say ada has been an excellent token for me; It is good that you are still hodling your position; it is solid. Also Juld has been a good investment for me, over 300% growth already, excess profits for me
313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Missed out on bitcoin, please make me a plan now on: February 13, 2021, 06:31:57 PM
In trading; there is nothing like missing out because there are always oppportunities to invest or trade. The first plan you need on the blockchain trading space is one that lets you learn crypto currency trading. Then another plan that guides you on cryptocurrency market. With consistencies; i suppose yyou will be able to make better choices in the near future. The market is always there for the taking.

Always do your own research

316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria government did not ban bitcoin on: February 09, 2021, 11:04:00 PM
Why do some governments constantly change their minds about crypto? They ban them, then accept it again?

Literally; it is safe to say that government are inconclusive; some countries are interested in opening up the economy for every individual to try and benefit; while some government will decide to lock up the economy and force centralized investments; banning crypto currency means the country is unhappy they are unable to control funds going in and out of crypto currency; With time , i suppose nations will learn that nothing will stop bitcoin; not the ban nor the threats. Use p2p; trade with trusted pals and never fall for high abnormal rates.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the way forward now. on: February 08, 2021, 02:07:10 PM
There is a saying that two heads are better than one, guys I need good advice from all of you, now that nigeria government have put ban on crypto, can't trade my bitcoin to naira and send to my bank account is there any other ways to go around this? Are there decentralized exchanges that can or could allow fiat deposits to bank? There should be a solution to this problem, pls share

There are a thousand ways to go about this so you do not need to panic; before binance started the naira deposit; there has always been Peer 2 peer trades; Binance introduction  means luno lets nigeria trade bitcoin; and also Roqqu app.

Before this federal government of nigeria brouhahaha; binance p2p has been very functional; But now, Okex p2p has also launched and works great too; and also kucoin p2p. The exchange ensure to use p2p, kyc must be completed; so you are safe without dexes acting as escrow.

Important thing to note is that, do not let anyone write a bitcoin or crypto currency word as decription when sending money to you
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 07, 2021, 03:48:39 PM
Freiburg 2-1 Dortmund

It was another shocking lost points for Dortmund. Actually, Freiburg weren't much good but they scored 2 goals in 3 minutes in the second half. Moukoko didn't waste Haaland's assist but they couldn't equalize the score in the end. In the last weeks, Dortmund lost too many points and got away from Bayern and Leipzig so much. But I believe they will manage to finish the league at the 4th place at least.

Very bad performance by Dortmund who has now slipped 4 points from a champions league spot. Poor season so far and it could cost Dortmund in terms of financing and force them to sell off their star players; they need to turn around sooner. Can Dortmund turn around their season? I greatly do not think so.

What do you think about Bayern Munich? Can we celebrate them as league winners already ?
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 07, 2021, 03:42:42 PM
So Far AC Milan leading 1 - 0, the goal from Ibrahimovic. No doubt, AC Milan predicted easy to win this match. I Think the worst results they are just win with 1 goal. Hopefully Milan add more goals in the 2nd half. because 1-0 is not safe enough for Milan.

Milan are now 4 goal up against Crotone; and also the first time they have scored more than 2 goals since Hakan Calhanoglu got injured; and also ironically; Hakan Calhanoglu came off the bench to provide 2 assists in the tie. AC Milan remain top of the league ahead of Inter Milan and Juventus
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: February 07, 2021, 03:32:58 PM
Real Sociedad 2-0 Cadiz (The first half ended)

Real Sociedad are really close this time to finally take a victory after 4 games in La Liga. Oyarzabal are having a great match. He scored the penalty in the 26th minute and he scored his second goal in the game 8 minutes after it. He reached his 10th goal in 17 matches in La Liga this season. Cadiz player Marcos Mauro got a red card in the last minute of the first half. I don't see a problem to say R. Sociedad can even score more goals and get a huge win after weeks.

Real Sociedad 4 - 1 Cadiz
A fantastic tie for Real Sociedad who won emphatically at home to Cadiz; The win takes Sociedad to 6th position in the league standings

Later Tonight; Real Betis will host Barcelona who are in fine form at the moment; A win for Barcelona would take them back to 3rd on the log; same points with Madrid and 7 points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid
