821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: March 10, 2020, 02:46:37 PM
I do not think the bull run works like that.
BTC has to experience the biggest bull run first and maintain it for a while before etherum can attempt to soar also high.

In the short or long run, always dyor
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Convert or HODL? on: March 10, 2020, 07:13:35 AM
After recent dump is it still safe to hodl on to our existing bitcoin or convert it to USDT? I have just converted my bitcoin into USDT and I will be monitoring the market closely with multiple reminders to buy back when the value starts increasing so that I don't use my existing balance and eventually buyback more than I have right now? How many of you agree with my idea? Kindly share your suggestions.

I think the recent dump is actually a situation for panic and desperate need for money.
The corona outbreak forced the need to spend urgently for some people, while some fudded into dumping their assets.

There is nothing wrong when you convert to USDT, Because once btc dumps, you can buy back low and have even more satoshis.
Always dyor. and stay in profit.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: March 10, 2020, 07:02:34 AM
Well,at present bitcoin is not suitable as a currency and also it is not used worldwide. But,those days are not far when bitcoin will take over the world and will be used as a worldwide currency. The restrictions on bitcoin should be withdrawn by the countries. So,for now it will be good for all to store their bitcoin as a future asset.

I think bitcoin is suitable as a currency, and is already used on some platforms already to make purchases around the globe.
For me, i think the mistake is thinking that bitcoin will replace traditional cash policy that we have.

Bitcoin is a good asset, and an alternative payment method, and it will co-exist with fiat.
824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PSA : Remember to always back up your Private key / Seed! on: March 09, 2020, 10:36:46 AM
I know it's cliche, but I wanted to post this for newer people. If you don't control the keys to your wallet, then they aren't really your coin (i.e on exchanges). When you make a new wallet that you intend to keep funds in, please make sure to always backup your wallet seed. It's very important because if something happens (such as a hard drive failure), you will be able to recover your wallet and funds.

I do not think this should be news to anyone.
On myetherwallet, metamask, trust app, coinomi or imtoken, you are always advised and instructed to back up your keys before proceeding.

Either newbie or not, we should be submissive to learning and following instructions
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAMMIT, I missed another profit opportunity!!! on: March 09, 2020, 10:29:17 AM
I bought more Litecoin at $61 a few weeks ago, then watched its price rise to the low 80s.

Then everyone started shitting themselves over this Corona Virus bullshit, so the price retreated to $60 again.  If I'd been able to predict the future I'd have sold at $80 and bought back in at $60, but I didn't.

So I lost some profits.  Farq.

For Me, I would say this is as a result of no trade pattern or planning

Before venturing into investments options, you need to determine your entry and exit points.

That way, you are sure to be able to take profit when the opportunity arises
826  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers in a top exchanges telegram groups on: March 09, 2020, 10:25:22 AM
This is for all newbies and those who don't know, please share among friends

Every single telegram channels or groups of crypto exchanges are tagged by scammers, be extremely careful

The moment you have a problem with an exchange you will instantly get messages from people claiming to be team of the exchange, you can get the following messages

1. How can we help you?
2. What problem are you facing on our exchange?

They will pretend to be the exchange help service and they will ask you to make deposit to get your issue resolved, honestly if you aren't familiar with scammers you can easily fall victim

Group channel of exchanges like binance, kucoin, Okex, huobi are full of scammers waiting for people that needs the team help to resolve an issue, be wise

I think i just commented on a similar situation about vindax.

This does. Not apply only to newbies but to every one.
Admins of top exchange group, even Bounty groups do not pm first, if anyone pms you first offering a cheap sale or to help you. Block asap.

Never give out your private key to friends or strangers
827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vindax Scam on: March 09, 2020, 10:19:23 AM
I sold few coins on vindax that worth 10$ and I don't receive any in my wallet after withdrawal, I track transaction ID on etherscan and it says 'Failed', then I head to their telegram group to complain, guess what happens next? I was told to deposit 60$ worth of Eth to an address from a PDF, I screamed scam and they block me off their telegram group, here is a screenshot

All vindax exchange team are scammers, you've been warned, stay out of this exchange at all cost

I also do not like vindaz as an exchange platform, it's always zero value or no value at times

As regard that message, i advice you block any representative claiming to be vindaz or another exchange and report such to the proper admins.

Also remember that admin never pm first
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: March 09, 2020, 10:14:35 AM
If you don't understand the effect of Corona on the global economy ! In the last 8 -12hrs , the US Crude oil is down by 31% , UK oil by 32%,  BTC by 12% and more  and other trading pair are falling deep. Crude oil seems dead now because they can't export it. Traders and investors needs to be careful now. This might be an unprecedented global recession. Now is not the time for long term Investment in real estate because when it goes bad, all those investment will be sold for pennies. So please hold your cash and follow the news.

Someone will ask that the funds that are leaving crude and stocks, where is it going ? It's simply being rolled into Fiat because everyone is careful of Investing at this time.

There are investments going into Gold as well, but we can't overly emphasize that corona virus will cause immense dip in price.

Few tokens are doing well for now amidst the crisis.
It's just best to get your profit and be safe in your investment

830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Searching for AirDrop platforms on: March 08, 2020, 09:55:39 PM
hi guys!  Smiley

I'm looking for platforms which can host token/coin airdrops. I found a few like Airdrops.io, Airdropbob.com, 99airdrops.com, Freecoins24.io, but they only promote airdrops, post news in their social media and in the description add link to the token/coin website where to get free tokens/coins...

I need platforms which would fully host airdrop, distribute tokens/coins to users along with the promotion...does anyone know such platforms? Huh

maybe, there is someone who works as a partner with exchanges which conduct airdrop?

would be very thankful for the info and any help!

In my honest opinion, this is not the time to focus on airdrop campaigns or sorts.
I see that you are a newbie, you are to develop interest in understanding blockchain and crypto currencies.

And if you prefer the airdrop sites, you have more than enough to select from on this thread.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a Days there is no charm to work in Bounties? on: March 08, 2020, 09:48:15 PM
You are right, just like boom and dumps, the hypes of bounty hunting is gone, and it is not rewarding as it usually were back in its prime.
At the moment, it is rare to find a very rewarding bounty to participate in, and even if theres one, it is often over crowded.

Perhaps it is time to learn trading, and be an expert at it, So either theres a bounty worthy or not, you get something going on in your crypto lifestyle
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly does a good project needs. on: March 08, 2020, 09:34:21 PM
I think you have already mentioned the basics that a project needs.
Apart from a good product, and a  working principle, a good project definitely need good communities to push the good news, push the products to everyone on social media, to help create the neccesary and basic hypes equally.

833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is fake shit on: March 08, 2020, 09:23:06 PM
The whole Crypto industry is shit and absolute fraudulent.

To begin with, crypto industry is not joke, it is a future present today, and you need to join the train today or later.

Trade is a joke as you basically trading against the Exchange using their unlimited Tokens and your own Fiat against you.
No matter how many customers a Exchange have they are not all on at once so using their fake Volume its very easy to Trade against the few that is in any given room at one time.
Total Centralized Crime and fraud. I have no more faith in this shit ,its only a empty promise that attracts people to invest and then see their Funds held tight, while you try to fool yourself to look for patterns . Every avenue of Trade is now perfected by the Central crime syndicates creating Tokens just to dilute your buypower keeping control. Even BTC is their puppet.

Ssecondly, trading in crypto currency can indeed be full of risk, but it is not gambling, neither is it a joke. Except you get lucky, or you outrightly dump tokens, if you try trading as a newbie, you are going 90% rekt

It is true that few exchanges has low volumes, but because you perhaps did not dyor, you are unable to identify a trade that has true volume.

If you insist on existence of scam tokens, they will always exist, it is up to you to avoid them totally.

My Advise, dyor and learn the basics about crypto currency and trading in crypto currency.

The amount of movement available to them in Markets is stupid now. Every Order has immediate effects that cant be considered normal Trade only fake Volume Trade .
To Exchanges all over i say enjoy robbing the poor but you will have your day in the sun im sure many enemies you make

Fluctuations in trading is normal, it takes the candles up and down in price very quickly. And that is one reason why you need to understand how to trade.

As a newbie, you need to understand the below common terms.
DYOR - DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.
Avoid FOMO - FEAR OF MISSING OUT
Avoid FUD - FEAR, UNCERTAINTY & DOUBT. STAY CONFIDENT IN YOUR INFORMATIONS.
834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WazirX coin over the moon. on: March 08, 2020, 08:25:04 PM
Hours after the top Indian court cancelled the ban of crypto currency this coin is over the moon, a massive pump of 60% within a day is a real shock to the entire crypto forum.

WRX is the native token of India and also a popular peer-to-peer digital assets exchange, guys just keep an eye on this I believe it will pump more and more.

Yes it happened after the news, and it was an immense massive pump that happened to WRX, it pushed even the 24 hour trading volume even higher
And as a trader, or an investor, my believe is that most people have taken their profit already.

If you have not done so, dyor and make the decisions befitting to you
835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hostile takeover and the way forward on: March 07, 2020, 11:22:21 AM
I think you are right, and i also want to believe that not so many people were affected.

I use steemit mainly to write and publish blogs, and for me, as long as the blog platform works well and fine. i have no problem.
Either centralized or decentralized exchanges. Projects are left to choose which is best because as investors or members, we really do not have a say.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of good marketing on: March 07, 2020, 11:20:03 AM
Instead of marketing, i will use media hype.
There are several crypto currency projects with good products but without hype. Then they end up listing on shit exchanges before dieing with such good prospect.

This is a good call, for crypto currency projects to maintain and engage their community well.

GOOD PRODUCT + GOOD MARKETING = HYPE AND GOOD VOLUMES In my own opinion
837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for bounty payments on: March 07, 2020, 09:33:15 AM
This is a very good method or pattern as you may term it, but trust me there will still be projects that will refuse to pay.
Non payment of bounty reward is not related to token dump, it is pure scamming attitude that no matter what method employed by bounty managers.

The best solution for me is 50% btc/eth/stable coin, then 50% project tokens, all escrowed by the escrows available in the forum.

Truth remains that some projects will be void, but the best shall prevail.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum going back to under 200$? on: March 07, 2020, 09:25:05 AM
As a trader, you do not need to worry earnestly about etherum prices dropping in a few days, or within few hours.
But it all draws to whether you invest for the short or long term.

As a trader, your insights should be on the long term, do your own research and be able to deduce a profit return for your investment.
That way, when a token drops, you are confident it will rise back.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: March 07, 2020, 09:17:15 AM
I'm just trying to do my part, I know many won't care and some don't even bother to read anymore, they are just here for bounties, here is for those who cares about reading and learning.

Stay away from the following exchanges, I have bad experience with them already and I can still see few people getting caught in same trap

1. Vindax
2. Systemkoin
3. P2PB2B
4. Latoken

Not just for fake volumes and watched trade but scams, lose of funds, swapping of withdrawal addresses, you name it, have a great day

To be frank, i do not rate those listed exchanges at all,

Vindax, all airdrop tokens i have on vindax are worth nothing but 00$.
Its been over a year i used latoken.

To be honest, you cannot avoid any crypto currency exchange because as an airdrop or bounty participants, you are linked to the exchanges one way or the other.
Most recent example is this, just 4 days back, i sold Faireum Token (FAIRC) (Bountyhive bounty token) on P2PB2B at a very good price.

My advise is this, if you are a full grown trader, then do not go near those exchanges, use the top rank exchanges always, But if you have altcoins to sell on the listed exchanges, use them, sell your altcoins, and withdraw your assets immediately.

I am not for or against, i just gave an instance for what i would do.
DYOR and be responsible for any exchange you trade with.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right time to invest in Stellar (XLM) in short term? on: March 07, 2020, 09:03:39 AM
As i always say, everytime is a good time to invest.
What matters is when you get into a trade, and when you decide to get out of a trade.

And it all falls back to your research ability. Are you a proper trader ? or you just buy low and hope to sell high ?
Get your strategies right, and you will enjoy trading.
