It was supposed to surpass ico and be a better crowdfunding method; but it has gone cold faster than ico did.

If you compare Your experiences too; between altcoin and bitcoin; you would notice that

1. Altcoins are so many; that they replace one another.
If an old altcoin dies
New altcoins will replace them and old one will be forgotten... It goes on and on

2. Bitcoin has maintained its class and importance;

Is it that bitcoin is the only hope for the future ??

I do believe everytime is a good time to invest in bitcoin
What really matters is your strategy.

With the bear market, you can choose to buy low and sell high
Or buy low then activate shorting

Several ways; just discover your strategy and make it work

Irrespective of people’s opinion; the steem blockchain does its best
And equally is the most acceptable blog webpages anywhere in the crypto currency world

Dumps and pumps are occurrences to all tokens not just steem

This is not what you think, if you think that crypto can become rich overnight, you don't need to bother avoiding investment risks. You only need to focus on crypto investments that you think can make you rich.

but unfortunately the market says it's different, there is no way to get quick profits & all you have to do is how you can survive in this market. between a fixed choice with the same option or switch with another option.

I think there are 2 right times to trade your tokens

The first, trade your tokens before a bearish market
Second; trade your tokens if you are in profit

Am sorry but I do not believe in anything entirely free
Nothing is free in crypto currency

You work for it through airdrop and bounties
But you must be cautious; scams are a lot

This is the obvious truth; I am not a believer of waiting for tomorrow
I make my decisions based on today and leave out little % for the unknown regarding altcoins

The only available hope is to place down your sell order and wait patiently if not forever for a buyer

But instead of ending up with tokens that have no volume; why not pan out a strategy? A plan B

Those are characteristics used by team previously and you are right
Modern characteristics

- team gives you all updates and answers every question regarding growth and development
- team lists on a crypto currency exchange with good volume; good price
- team continues to promise and promise and promise
- team then starts to dump discretely and list on another exchange
- team dumps substantial amount of tokens in exchange and never reply development questions
- team abandons telegram groups to telegram moderators
- token dumps and get delisted
- telegram moderators are forced to quit groups
- project dies mysteriously

From my observations so far in crypto currency; it is not about creating a working product
Projects with working products Have gotten delisted and died away

And projects with working products have equally gone atleast -100x ico or ieo price
Recently , miracle tele has left investors in limbo

Real project’s care only about the future; which is why few altcoins still top the rankings on coinmarketcap

Instead of learning a particular trading strategy
Why not learn how to trade basically

After then; you practice, develop your skills and find out what works best for you
After which you simply can choose a trading strategy that handles yo emotions and capital uniquely

I’m not sure why you criticize coinmarketcap because they probably have done their job in revealing the trade exchange as well as its daily Volume

We are now in 2019, everyone is responsible for any investment plan or option they choose
So coinmarketcap has provided you the information; all you have to do is do your own research and make the decisions
