Copper is very cheap, the coins would have to be huge in order to have any value compared to the cost of making them.
Have you thought about titanium or tin? (Not sure how workable these are for coin form) but they are worth about 2.5 to 3 times as much, making a smaller denomination coin easier.
Y'know, we hadn't, but that is an excellent suggestion! We'll certainly be keeping it in mind.. Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread I was surprised at how cheap titanium was, we go through a bunch of it at work. That is relatively easy to work with. It's density is about half the weight of copper. I know I'd rather have a pocket full of USD quarter sized titanium coins that would be worth about 9.6 USD each. So you could make ones half the size for 5usd each. I bet a lot of people would jump on those for that price.

I'm more amazed at how much dust is on that stuff. The one fan is completely blocked! (think it's the CPU fan)

I'll pm all you other guys in a bit. I wouldn't pay for a CRT, shipping is way to high.

Heh, if it was like my old gigabyte card (before I RMA'd it), I just took the fan out, then ziptied a high CFM 80mm fan to it.

Added prices and bumped.
I'll buy the router as long as you have a picture with your name next to it as proof.

Have some proof you have them on hand? Pic with a name, heatware profile, etc?

That's more than the cost of new WITH Shipping from newegg. You buy NEW 2tb green drives that have the 64mb of cache for only $69 with free shipping. That's BTC And new 1tb WD black drives that are sata6 are only $79 (cheaper than the sata 3 ones) with free shipping. That's BTC If that's the going rate, I have one 500 and one 1tb green I'll sell for btc and btc shipped! Well, Newegg doesn't accept Bitcoins and if I look at the new price here, it is a lot more expensive. Bummer! It's true newegg doesn't accept bitcoins, but these prices are exactly the same on amazon and spendbitcoins.com will do amazon giftcards without an overhead.

Nobody is even sorta interested?
Oh I'm sorta interested, this is great card for testing clients computers. Just not sure I can afford it atm.
|
|
|
Only thing is you said prices are firm, and since the hardware I get is pretty much going to get mutilated, I'm not willing to pay all that much for the stuff. You also forgot to list how much you'd like for the 7xxx Nvidia Pci-e card

I'll throw up an offer of 10btc.

Best watch out for some scammers sending some false info. I know more than one person would like to say they "ordered" something.

It's actually easier to just go to her little facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chic-Computer-Curios/281261928555048She has a website, but I'm not good at html and the guy writing it up is taking forever. There's newer stuff not up yet, but she's made a boatload of different stuff and all my old junky boards are gone now

Putting this on hold unless:
You won't charge except for shipping and can fill a flatrate box with enough stuff to make it worthwhile.
I've had so many PM's and offers I'm more or less out of btc at the moment.I'm looking to pay bottom dollar prices on pretty much anything that comes out of a computer.
Why? My girlfriend makes jewelry out of the parts!
So instead of dumping your stuff into the trash, I'll pay the shipping and a little more to compensate.
I'm literally looking for darn near everything: 8088/386/486 and up boards Any hard drives, regardless of size. Any add on card - Dialup modems, sound cards, gpu's, networking cards, etc Power supplies, heat sinks, etc Old memory sticks! bios's, chips/resistors/capacitors, and any cables!
About the only thing I won't buy individually is floppy/dvd drives as there is nothing fun in them to make into something else. Pretty much it seems older is better, as the tech was larger and looked cooler.
Send me PM's with what you have. Pictures are going to be a must with your name and my name, xurious. I don't need exact pictures, even if it's just all in a pile and I can get a rough idea. It'd be great if you know "about" how much it weighed to figure shipping costs.
