Thanks for everybody's input, It's been interesting reading everyone's opinions  I figure that due to the fact that all Alt's have a far lower market cap than Bitcoin it will take a far smaller amount of newly invested money to drive prices up by a far higher percentage. All coins in my portfolio are in the green today so I'm hopeful I made the right choice When you are a trader and Mcap doesn't matter a lot. Altcoin becomes the secondary choice caused by what you have already mentioned if even small traders can join in the market to make profit. Again, a small marketcap doesn't always if that will give you bad result and we are altcoin holders just always to make sure we have picked the right coin. I hope we will see another big waves for altcoin very soon.  |

It's not just a clone but it's a scam coin that has been made with the real purpose to scam the newcomers. There was no even a good news for this coin and a lot of people have create accusation if this coin is fully manipulated by various scam exchange sites that has affiliated with the insider from BSV. The liquidity is very low compared with BCH. This scam coin will be only giving profit for the insider and the newcomers will be always become a party who will be the loosers. This is just like a trap coin that created by scammer. |

Is it same hex https://hex.win?I also saw 2-3 blogs article where they mentioned about hex and they told that this is not legit project. When you are seeing the name of scammer called richard heart on the site and then that's a scam coin. The only coin that used HEX ticker is a coin that created by him (Richard). There was also hex cash and that's also a scam coin too. HEX is confirmed as an exit scam project. Though it seems very high but yet Bitcoin halving can change my confusion. No one believed Bitcoin can go that high in late 2017, Bitcoin price growth not predictable perfectly! Sometimes it goes beyond our thinking. As we are in the new year and the Bitcoin halving coming, so, many analysts giving their prediction! We already saw 30K, 50K, 100K and now 80K predictions! If Bitcoin hits any of this prediction, the crypto market will be the talk of the century!
People are going so crazy to predict the future of bitcoin even the ATH is not yet passed by bitcoin. Rather than try to give another feedback and isn't it better if we are seeing the fact that is happening right now, This prediction will worth to be hear when the price of bitcoin has already surpassed its old ATH. Well, it is a very very simple reason why people do this ; money. Think about it, the costs of starting a new ICO or even creating something with just airdrops and not even get funding, means that you will be in control of a coin that is used and exchanged in many platforms. No matter how little you can spend, in the end you will just sell bunch of coins and you will make that money back and profit from it.
So, there is no reason NOT TO create a new coin, if you have the capability of creating a new coin, you probably should because there are hundreds of people out there who will most likely want your money as well. I personally won't because I know it is shady and immoral to do so but I do understand the shady and immoral people and why they do it, in a world where money is very difficult to come by, potential of making thousands of dollars is a good reason to do so.
That is the fact, moreover making tokens is not difficult. That is why many fraudsters can do this easily, making teams that appear to be authentic or deliberately making them anonymous, making various scenarios of fraud with projects that seem real. However, the fact that it is only a fraud scenario, some even really just want to raise funds without any real development. That is why we must be truly selective. The problem is so many trusted medie right now are getting pair to promote. Some scam projects can also be promoted on the mainstream crypto news site like cointelegraph or even etherscan. To be a selective person is a good thing but there is a lot of problems that we will face it just like so many scammers are doing camouflage and this is the real prolem that faced by the newcomers. So many experts are not even cooperative to determine which is scam project just like mcafee who are always fooling the new comers. |

Interesting list.
However, it is important to note that up to a certain point, the speed of the coin simply does not matter anymore - whether or not a block will confirm within 10 secs after you sending it or 5 seconds honestly shouldn't bother anyone using this for normal commerce.
This shouldn't be the sole factor taken into judgment for picking your investments.
Thanks for the feedback. The main question that guided me in my research was how close are the blockchain or distributed ledger solutions to displacing or replacing traditional payment systems. Are they technically ready to beat VISA or SWIFT TPS? And im afraid the answer is not yet. But I do not argue that blockchain technologies are more universal, more functional and offer more features. They are not ready to beat visa and why? i really appreciate what you have been writing here because it's very useful for us but about to know how much TPS that can be gained by a blockchain platform needs more deeply research. I just take EOS as an example and 50k is not a real TPS that can be achieved by EOS. The fact that block.one is even feeling doubt if that protocol can be used to launch voice or not. 1. Libra/Calibra
Why are you too sure about the name Libra. I have not seen any signs that Libra will emerge in 2020. If we ask, of course they will answer that they are completing legal regulations. I followed the Libra information. If they have great support from various parties, why is the problem of legal regulation so difficult to solve? If Libra is the largest company, of course they have enough partners to solve every problem. Are you not even watching the news site right now? Libra will emerge this year as stated on the whitepaper and they are on the test net mode right now and you can confirm it from the various media and i guess that will not so difficult to see that. It may get another delay until next year but for some countries that have been banning facebook and it will be a very difficult task to make them all accept it that why libra was choosing to operate in the country that was allowing it to developer its stable coin like switzerland. |

BTC and ETH, ETH will be a good coin for investment in 2020 because this year's ETH will be upgraded to ETH v2.0, making eth better than the previous version and is good news for ETH investors
I think ETH was already the best coin of the alts, as far as I'm concerned, ETH only lacks speed on the net. That's true and i think that just try to choose BTC as all time best coin for sure. We will never feel regret to choose bitcoin. BCH must be eliminated from that list. The next update of ethereum will be also focusing to the scalability problem that is still happening with ethereum right now. For altcoin and ethereum is the best coin right now and it will be much more promising with the come of the ethereum 2.0 Scalability problem in ethereum protocol will be fixed in the future. Just expect ethereum protocol will get a better result on the blockchain speed in the future. |

That's the weakness of centralized exchange, we don't have full access to our own assets, because all user assets are fully controlled by them. I personally never long to store assets in a centralized exchange, if the goal has been fulfilled, then I immediately withdraw assets and this is always done in every trade.
I still hope that DEX will soon be born which can be a solution to the problems often occur in centralized exchange at this time.
Dex has bought all of the solution to the centralized exchange site's problem but the fact that the implementation for the new features will be much more easy when it comes to the centralized exchange site. The problem is how to attract the traders to use the DEX. This is an old problem that never gets fixed even various dex has been doing a lot of the marketing. It looks like people is much more easy to control their money on the trusted cex the bad cex should be included on the exception. |

The fact that it's based on the BCH ecosystem essentially ruins it for any practical adoption.
Anyhow, I still think that in the long run, people will tend to use ERC20 tokens because of the fact that it's so commonly used for previous ICOs. And with ETH's dominance within the market with a potential ETH2.0 upcoming that will introduce PoS, that could see increased ETH adoption, and therefore ERC20 adoption.
There are a ton of coins that have smart contract functionality, but obviously not all have the level of adoption that ETH currently has.
We cannot deny the fact that ERC-20 tokens are more popular than SLP tokens. After all, Ethereum was the first Blockchain platform which introduced the concept of smart contracts. With a few years since inception, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap has been able to establish a trusted branding among mainstream developers and individuals alike. You can do so much more with an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain than SLP tokens on the BCH blockchain. One thing to keep in mind, is that Bitcoin was not designed to handle complex transactions on the Blockchain. Which means, that Bitcoin Cash is not suitable for tokens or even executing smart contracts. On the other hand, Ethereum is suitable for smart contracts because of the way it was designed. Personally, I prefer to deal with ERC-20 tokens because they have an already established user base. There's a lot of support for these type of tokens across mainstream businesses, corporations, and exchanges alike. But who knows? Maybe the BCH project gets lucky someday, as mainstream businesses launch SLP tokens on it. After all, it's much easier for the average user to create a token on BCH than doing so on ETH. The main difference will be the quality of the tokens among both blockchains. And ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain are a true winner (both in terms of quality and reliability) in this regard. Just my opinion Next waves platform with a bunch of crap coins. The bold sentences are the main point and i believe if to make the token issuance becomes much easier is not the right decision. There will be so many scammers used it very soon. To make the token issuance will much more difficult in the mainstream smartcontract like ethereum is a good point to prevent the scammer. Mainstream businesses can even create their own coin that runs on their own blockchain as it's not so difficult to deploy the new blockchain. So many people were even complaining to the ethereum developer to create a new agreement or mechanism for the token issuance. |

I personally prefer to hold bitcoin and ethereum. They are good coin and more potential to hold for long term.
I prefer to hold bitcoin as the main portfolios and just try to fill my wallet with another coin like dash, chainlink and many more as long as it has proper development and i may put it into my portfolios. Im not only betting on the major event that will be made by major coin but let's focus to the small event that will create by a good altcoin too. Remember the potential to get a huge return like BCH or even dash only come to the altcoin. |

This must be an easy money for those who had received the fork coins of BSV. No doubt Wright can pump the coin making this to his advantage but be cautious by the time he 'd have to prove to the court that he has the control over Satoshi's wallet. This will not take over BTC but will send BSV out in the market for its been created by a fraudster

well i would not buy the coins that pumped x2 x3.. if its a bull trap they will drop but if its a bull run , its better to buy other known coins that did not pump yet because they will follow
That's too risky to buy coins that already got pumped. It looks like that the market has already confirmed if the trend that was happening before was the bullrun and we can see about how the market is only getting a small correction and no more. I just believe that if we will touch more than 10k again. Remember not all of coins can't get the same pump and as far as i know when you are betting on a coin which is not yet getting a pump and that has the same meant if you are betting on dice but in this case fundamental means a lot. |
