1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the most promising Decentralized Exchange on: January 13, 2018, 10:22:58 AM
So yeah i can see there are many projects sprouting around and it's hard to check so many, a lot of them are probably straight up scams.

So my question is, what's your favorite/most promising decentralized exchange so far? I've seen cryptobridge and something like DAG mentioned which is scalable and has big potential, does maybe someone know anything else about it? I will be reading the whitepaper tomorrow.
Honestly etherdelta is only the decentralized exchange that has been gaining a lot of daily trade volume compared with another decentralized exchange sites are meant nothing for etherdelta. But what do you mean about DAG? Do you try to mention the DAG project in this discussion? Idex exchange site looks good but majority of people are still interested by use centralized exchange.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it time to invest Bitcoin Gold right now ? on: January 11, 2018, 10:44:20 AM
I was follow BTG for a few week and see it sideway for a long time, Do you think it time to invest Bitcoin Gold right now ?
Bitcoin gold is very bad coin imo, remember there will be a lot of hardfork will come as fast as possible and it may better to spent all of your money to buy bitcoin and then just try to grab those free coins in the future. Bitcoin gold just another shitcoin without any ability. Bitcoin cash even better than it.
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH VS BTC on: January 11, 2018, 10:33:15 AM
Will BTC be replaced from ETH in future? Because as of current crypto market, demand for the ETH is higher than BTC due to various kind of ICO projects.
It will and it must. Imagine you are sending your transaction that cost you around $25 for a single transaction if you are using bitcoin blockchain and then if you are moving toward ethereum and it will cost you around $2.
But for the actual payment ethereum should become the first and then bitcoin will be the second.  Roll Eyes People are more familiar to ethereum platform.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets speculate! Which is the next coin to boom ? on: January 11, 2018, 10:30:13 AM
So what alternate coins do you guys think will boom short(ish) term?
Im looking at Neo (formerly known as Antshares) - was introduced on the exchanges a couple of months ago, its hovering around 35-40$ right now.
That being said there are only 3-4 projects running on the platform so mass adaptation is to come!!

Looking back at ETH earlier this year, once it went above 50$ it started its moon ride to 400!!

Anyway, what do you guys think?
By the way i was looking for the blockchain based project just like universa, zilliqa and others. It may better to buy those try to develop a better platform in the future. But remember ethereum still hold the most innovative blockchain platform everytime. But there are some fail project just like waves and it could become very bad place to invest.
1305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Missed Kucoin and Binance coin? Get on Bibox Token before it goes up 10x!!! on: January 10, 2018, 07:09:55 AM
at this time , rate for exchange token climbing.enlarged market capitalization requires a new market, and now on much new market release.it would be better that buy some this token now before this rate rise like kucoin and binance.
Because some major exchange sites are closed the new registration for new comers and they are all looking for alternative exchange site to do trade activity. That's why to build future exchange site should be considered as a good move right now. Just like binance that raises huge volume in this time.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selfkey (KEY), TheKey (TKY) or Civic (CVC), which one will be the winner? on: January 10, 2018, 05:29:02 AM
I think KNY is more important than ever, so all coins/tokens with the goal to make identity verification easier should be welcome (especially in the area of ICO's)

Made a short research but couldn't determine the real winner:

Selfkey:
- based on ETH +
- huge team
- one advisor is founder of IOTA +
- working demo product +
- acting globally +
- medium market awarness (small telegram group in comparison to TKY) -
- favorable ICO price -> huge room to grow ++

TheKey:
- based on NEO (don't know if good or bad) +/-
- only focussed on chinese market but chinese people are not allowed in ICO?! -
- high market awarness +
- good team (Catherine Li) +
- political connections and patents +
- favorable ICO price -> huge room to grow ++

Civic:
- based on ETH +
- Vinny Lingham hype +
- longer on the market BUT imo not much "progress" -
- high market awarness but not much room to grow in the current state imo -

So KEY and TKY should be better IDV projects in my opinion and both will have an ICO this month. So which one is better in your opinion and why?

My guess that the selfkey will become a winner, as you can see not all of the neo based project raised a lot of interest after that goes to the market. because ethereum platform gives the more guarantee about the global adoption and that gives the more opportunity for us to get the more money from there. I think selfkey should become a reasonable choice.
1307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of HEXTRACOIN?????? on: January 10, 2018, 04:51:22 AM
After the bug fixes due to hacker attacks Hextracoin has come back to break anxiety for all Investors
With this comeback, HXT has changed its appearance as well as introduced some new tactics to attract investment.
What do you think about this comeback?
Should trust in hextracoin again?
https://steemit.com/scam/@cem/hextracoin-don-t-fall-for-this-scam
Just a brother from regal, bitconnect and another ponzi coin. Rather than called those as investors and I'd liked to name them all as victims. Majority of people known hextra just another shit ponzi coin.
So it will be difficult to give a lure to the investors (victims to invest in this shit ponzi coin)
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on Building a new Blockchain/Currency? on: January 10, 2018, 04:46:33 AM
As an exercise I am planning on building a new open source blockchain/currency completely from scratch in Java.

Rather than be one of the many clones of Bitcoin, this will be something new.

My question to you guys is: which features do you think the blockchain/currency should support?

My thought that you must try to think what your target to build a new blockchain. There is a project that builds the blockchain from scratch. you must complete what's purpose of your blockchain. If that's only to grab your investor money and forget it. you must come with something new rather than to do the similar way with another project.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Transfer of OMG to ETH wallet error on: December 23, 2017, 12:24:05 AM
I mistakenly, big time Newbie, transferred OMG at Binanance to my Coinbase ETH wallet.  I should have exchanged it at Bianance prior to sending, but regardless, they are both my accounts and I have all the transaction info on both ends.  Is there a way to recover it?

Thanks much!

Most probably your coins are GG but there are warning signs everywhere. Take it as a lesson learn from it and prevent it from happening again that is all you can do now.

Yep for sure.  It was my own stupidity and luckily it was only $200 something rather then 1000's.  Thanks for taking the time to respond!

But you can to make a support ticket, Does coinbase will be able to recover your amount. Just a little possibility if they can. Be careful before sent anything mate. Because coin base ii different with binance. In binance majority of erc20 token will be accepted.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lawyers and smart contracts on: December 22, 2017, 10:53:22 AM
Do you think Lawyers will be able one day to use smart contracts without knowing how to code  Undecided
The basic knowledge about coding is a must before try to write or even read the smartcontract and someone without any skill of coding will not possible to use smartcontract. As you can see there will be a lot of platform aim to make it to be more easier but the important reason about the newbies must never try to use it because you must try to find the vulnerability in your smartcntract. that's why the amateur is not recommended to use it.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to find coins with potential on: December 22, 2017, 10:44:28 AM
I already fail at finding a source for freshly released altcoins. There are several websites that list all announced coins, but it would be great to get some details about their potential. Of course I read discussion boards but my experience is that most of the comments are rubbish.

The goal would be to find coins like bitcoin in the early stage where its value was below $1.

I know it is all about luck! But I would appreciate if you could share your sources. Like blogs, discussion forms, serious news sites etc.

How do you decide which coin to mine? How do you research about coins to decide if they have potential
My thought that you are looking for those coins that has so many potential on its price and not for the long term development progress. i know you feel mate but it's very difficult to say the fact that the ico which gained a lot of interest from the investors will become a winner. especially if you can join in the ico that only available for few participants, the key for the potential ico on its hype.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wetrust hidden gem !! on: December 22, 2017, 10:41:24 AM
Huge marketing campaign is also scheduled for January!

10$ should not be a problem !
Do you mean we trust will try to attract the more users through its marketing? But it's pretty good for me. In my experience wetrust should be considered as oldcoin. As there are so many competitors are winning on the massive adoption rather than wetrust project. I've bought some wetrust from the market. Vitalik as an official advisor looks very good imo.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How initially a coin value is decided?????? on: November 17, 2017, 03:18:07 PM
I have a doubt how a coin value is decided before ICO or release?HuhHuh
Every project already made their own whitepaper, and that provides you the more technical explanation about the price of the coin itself. Some projects just put the actual price for each token just like eidoo. and there are some projects just try to determine the price after the crowdsale. that means the total raised funds will be divided with the total issued tokens.
Both were the way to decide the price of the ico.
1314  Economy / Speculation / Re: IS BITCOIN BUBBLE OR NOT? on: November 16, 2017, 11:54:15 PM
No, Bitcoin is not a bubble. Please take a look at its historical data and marketcap. Bitcoin is a highly volatile currency and it's not a bubble. I think Bitcoin's price will touch 8000$ or more within this or next month.
If you don't understand about what means of the bubble and you can try to learn more from the reliable site just like investopedia. The bitcoin can be considered as a bubble caused by the value is really volatile. Fiat can't include in the bubble caused by the value is remain stable. So, you can see the flash crash of the bitcoin and some expert said that as the bubble burst. Crypto should be considered as a bubble because there is no regulation to regulate it. crypto based on the nature adoption.
1315  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: November 16, 2017, 11:49:11 PM
This is so really hard to say special cause its difficult to explain specialty in short word
Some of them  are given below:

It’s a type of currency which know as peer to peer currency and this permit to send and receive money without help of broker or third party involvement
Every bitcoin holder can review their account information after sending money or receiving money from their account.
After all kind of transection bitcoin recorded sufficient proof of every client and account holder through different facilities.
Buying and selling process is so much easier than other currency
I think above mention quotation is sufficient for proving that how much special the bitcoin is.

The speciality in bitcoin comes when we see it as a first ever cryptocurrency . Also no other currency whether crypto or fiat has increased in price value and popularity compared to bitcoin.
Bitcoin is so special because this is the most use and the top cryptocurrency other than altcoins. Yes compared to other crypto bitcoin is the best its value that no one other can beat. It has many purposes a store of value, can be use as means of payment online and other features. So bitcoin indeed is special no other can be compared to it.
Not sure about what are you saying, it seems the bitcoin to be a special rather than other caused by the its nature. I meant about the bitcoin's value has determined by the demand and the supply. This is will be different with another commodity just like gold. Especially fiat with full of the manipulation by the bankers. That's why bitcoin has the more advantage than other or it becomes more special.
1316  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is responsable for the decline in Bitcoin and increase in Altcoins on: November 16, 2017, 01:13:32 AM
Please can anyone explain to me the reason behind recent decline in bitcoin value and a sudden increase in altcoins to the turn that ethereum in particular move to the height of $325.16 of which it has never reach such a height in the last three weeks.
Your ideas are all welcome
The decline caused by the bitcoin cash itself, The people go to the bitcoin cash and put all of their money. That brings the more decline to the bitcoin's volume as the more people are converting their bitcoin and move into the bitcoin cash.
But this the price already back again, as those are realizing about the fact the bitcoin cash just another manipulation coin. They said that the bullish just for some hours and the dump just in some minutes.
1317  Economy / Speculation / Re: And We Are Back In The Game! on: November 16, 2017, 01:11:36 AM
The price of bitcoin is not fixed. So up or down the price is natural. But we can predict that Bitcoin will survive and the price of it will be increasing day by day. Though the price gets down for some reason but the future of Bitcoin is very promising.
It will never caused by the bitcoin's price depends on the market itself, the market is able to determined how the suitable price for the bitcoin based on the demand and the supply. As you can see about the more people are interesting in crypto and not only in the bitcoin itself.
Another good news comes to the bitcoin which about the futures trade of the bitcoin can bring the big merchant's adoption.
1318  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore's Central Bank Outlines When ICOs Are and Aren't Securities on: November 15, 2017, 11:05:53 PM
This is a great news because it means at least govts are happy to take a closer look at things and be careful not to just ban everything outright which will stifle innovation and tech growth.
They are trying to figure out how important the icos need to be regulated. But a lot of the team already built their project in there. Just like qtum which based on the singapore.
It's about million dollars and that was not small amount in my opinion. as you can see the more country are interested in it.
The singapore as the blockchain hub in this time.
Waiting for the more announcement from them.
1319  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a fixed supply of bitcoins around the wolrd or is it printable like $? on: November 15, 2017, 11:03:11 PM
Is there a fixed supply of bitcoins around the wolrd or is it printable like $?
The fixed supply of the bitcoin was 21 million but in another calculation, the maximum supply of the bitcoin will be less than 21 million and why? due to the various reason just like hacked exchange site like mtgox.
And another personal case which makes the bitcoin loss in the wallet due to the forgetting their password or passphrase.
The supply of the bitcoin will not increase anymore.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to keep all or almost all savings in prime cryptos like BTC, ETH? on: November 14, 2017, 11:17:04 PM
It's smart thing, as you can see the marketcapitalization of the cryptocurrency goes even more. That means the more demand will come to the crypto to increase the price.
But it will be better to learn to get in at the bottom of the price. it will become a very good choice to invest your money or keeping it for the long term investment.
But remember there is another promising project just like eidoo to store your money. remember each eidoo even worth $1.8 and this time the price was $2.3
