left on hold for 18 mins listening to "Snap , I got the power"
Well, at least they have an ironic humor...

lol, you beat me to it.

Finally a screenshot of their web interface...

Namecoin.
It has bitdomains, and now the freespeechme plugin:

http://www.freespeechme.com/

Things starting to move...

It's still better while miners are only 'living' in their wharehouse, than hashing there.  Grin

Hello
Kindly be informed, that the first miners are living the warehouse now. It would be a pleasure for us, if we could inform our customers about the delivery date, but unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have an exact shipping date

'living' and 'dying' in the warehouse... in a hundred years when robots become conscious... they will look back at our times, and how bad we treated those slave miners...  Grin

I refrained myself from posting until now because I rather be a lurker usually but I really don't understand what is going on.

I'm really trying hard to not give in to despair and rage.

A lot of people must be calling them and spamming their mailbox to get information. That must be stressful and time-consuming for them. I don't get why they can't spend 10 minutes posting some news to diminish that annoyance. Wouldn't that be best for Bitmine to give their clients some reasons to wait patiently instead of flipping out?
Is that really less painful for them to be hammered with requests and threats than posting 2 lines on their homepage? Something like "We're really sorry to announce a one-week delay in our shipping schedule because of (insert a reason here). Thanks you for your understanding".

Nothing is worse than silence. Gorgiomassa Is logging almost everyday on this forum and stay online for 5-10min. I see him each time and each time I wonder if he'll finally post some info and nothing happens. Why?

I still think they'll deliver and are just having a chain of bad luck. The mining business is full of obstacles and risk, everyone with a brain agreed to that when preordering... but that lack of communication wasn't expected. It is really deteriorating the situation.

I must thanks Zefir for bringing some insight but that can't replace an official statement unfortunately.

Please GM, with all due respect, say something.

They have hired a support guy (antonio) who is supposed to handle all the emails and phones. So that should be no problem.
Giorgiomassa is supposed to post news here on the forum and on bitmine.ch... But he on average posts only once a month.

He never posts to justify or explain a previous unresolved claim, or previous promise he couldn't keep.

That's the biggest problem, why I can't make a sense out of this mess. Because I cant see a consistency in the news he gives.

He talks about problems or things that are of no importance to us customers,
and he keeps for himself what would be necessary for us to know.
3006  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 21, 2014, 11:10:35 AM
They priced their hardware in $, bitcoin was only used as a payment method.
You paid $6000, for this you nedded to send 6 btc at that time.
Your refund is $6600. Right now, you can buy 11 btc with that.

From their TOS
Quote
5.4 Once you have notified Bitmine that you are cancelling the contract, Bitmine will verify that it complies with our refunds policy and, if confirmed, will refund you within 30 days of receiving notice of such cancellation for any sum that has been paid by you on that specific order. Refund will be made either by bank wire transfer or by Bitcoin payment depending on the original payment method

I would expect you the the btc back in case you paid in btc.
And yes I know, now the guys who paid in btc when it was at around 1k will complain - if it would be the other way round, the guys who paid when the btc was at around 100 would complain.
There will alway be somebody complaining, who does not realize, that this is the inherent foreign exchange risk you take when you buy/sell/trade in different currencies.

At last, a man with a brain!

Antonio (from Bitmine) told me you will only get dollars back. NEVER btc.
Like most businesses accepting BTC they immediately convert their BTC to dollars/chf thru exchanges like bitstamp etc.. and don't hold any BTC recieved by customers.
3007  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 20, 2014, 12:39:33 PM

Or comprehend real good either. I'm not a college educated man, but I can baffle 'em with their own discipline. It's disgusting. And to think this was the country that 150 years ago was the wonder of the world for our literacy Sad

I am homeschooling my children. Even if I weren't an anarchist, our State schools are harmful to the minds of humans.

I suppose I should get back on topic now.

From what I've seen in other threads, the A1 chip is pretty awesome. I really hope Bitmine pulls their heads out and does right by their customers, cuz I want that chip to stay on the market!

I salute you, fellow anarchist... and I too hope that bitmine will work it out somehow.
3008  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 20, 2014, 12:29:17 PM

FWIW, I'm American, and my countrymen for the most part have a worse grasp on English than most Europeans. It drives me nuts.

lol, I hear you.

A few years ago as a freelancer I had to do a text animation for an american customer....
The customer jokingly complained: "The speed is too quick, most americans don't read so fast"...

But i know Swisspeople are alot of a**holes, more as even germans - everyone knows.

Swiss don't like liars.
They like facts.
They will abandon projects based on wishful thinking, they are not fools.

And bitmine.ch. The latest news!
-Their PCB Desk Design dont work good. Its still an amateur thing right now, because of bad and worser management. Its the same as their communications skills here in the forum.
-No working PCB Design for the RIG. The solution will be designing smaller boards with max. 6 chips and shipping from April on, if they stil can work on this project. Everything is just crazy - its exactly like giorgio.

I agree with that. It looks more and more like we will have to wait until April.

You sound like you know giorgio personally. Talk a little bit more about him...
3010  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 19, 2014, 07:54:14 PM
They are done with the Desk and could start shipping that soon but they are far off from being done with the Desk, is that correct?

Looks like they are sitting on the desk, not working on the desk.
3011  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 19, 2014, 07:37:58 PM
Compared to Bitmine AG, the Ticino Debt Enforcement handles business in an exemplary manner. I requestet the "Betreibungsauszug" yesterday, already got it today. I don't want to post or link the entire file here, since i don't want to infringe the swiss laws of data protection.

So far, only one guy (most likely a customer) filed a "Betreibung" in the amount of 13'956.57 Swiss Francs (15'630 USD). Bitmine AG opposed against the right to enforce. I'm going to be the next person who'll be shown in this "Betreibungsauszug". The CHF 70.00 is nothing compared to the amount i gave to Bitmine.

If someone needs further information about the file or how the swiss laws of compulsory execution work, don't hesitate to contact me.

+1, thanks again.
3012  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 19, 2014, 05:50:33 PM
In essence, if you come late to an appointment, the guy who you kept waiting does not care why you are late - he will note that you were late. Starting to explain why you are won't change anything for the good - you might end up like someone looking for excuses. Same goes here
No. There's a clear difference. The guy is already at the meeting, unlike the CoinCrafts. Would it really be the same if the guy called to say he's running late, or that he just let's everyone at the meeting wait for him not knowing where he is or when he's coming?

Exactly. In such situations it becomes clear if a person has real concern or sympathy for the people who depend on him.

If I knew that I let people wait, I couldn't sleep at night. I would be so pressed to explain myself, so to win a little time.

But to just be silent is like I would have no character, or have no empathy whatsoever.

I'd rather have the people think that I am overwhelmed by the situation and unable to cope with it,
instead of having them think that I am a careless smug, who abuses their dependency for his own purposes...
because then you can't pretend anymore that you are looking for a WIN-WIN situation.

So how come new problems with suppliers and assemblies are not immediately communicated???

Hi there giorgiomassa, can we please have a update on whats going on.

Active so late in the night (early in the morning)?

GOOD. Finally his conscience keeps him from sleeping.
3014  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 19, 2014, 04:08:31 PM
hashfast, cointerra are shipping. bitmine? nep.

dont know if the guys from bitmine recognized that its much more lucrative to cancel the order, taking the money + 10% and changing in bitcoins instead of mining one year long and getting approximatly with conservative calculations not even the 100 % back.

leave your money at bitmine otherwise, no one will see any dollar back or can mine bitcoins!

Exactly, also whoever still has hope to make his money back, must turn into an extreme speculator.

They only way we could make our money back, is to hope that BTC will rise atleast to 2000 $, preferably more.

It's a complete desaster.

I will feel like a debt slave while I run the miners (should I ever recieve them). All profit will go back to fill a black hole, nothing else.
3015  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 19, 2014, 03:03:44 PM

That is where my 'who cares' came from - I am not hostile or disrespectful to you in any way. Instead please try for a moment to assume that sometimes people act in good faith and with good intentions.

It's not about you, it's about bitmine. I'd rather direct my anger at the head of bitmine, and not you or antonio.

It's strange enough that I have to talk to you, because no one at bitmine sees the need to explain himself and the delays.

Let's keep it at that, and your good faith and good intentions with all due respect.
3016  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 19, 2014, 02:02:57 PM
Now those are the details many are calling for in this thread. But seriously: how does this help waiting customers in any way? All that is important is the fact that shipping did not start as expected. Who cares about the details, they won't change anything, do they?

First, Thank you for your report.

Second, even simple service providers like public transport will immediately INFORM the passenger why there is a delay. Even for a 5 min delay.
Those are passengers who pay only a few euros for a ticket and STILL the firm finds it extremely important to IMMEDIATELY inform them about the REASON why there is a delay.

Why bitmine doesn't find it necessary to make this news, I don't understand.

Something like
"Delay for a few days, because of german PCB manufacturer. Because of that italian firm can't do its job. Estimated delay 1 week"

Listen zefir, you really have to stop saying things like "who cares, it won't change anything"...

They let us wait in the rainy dark without umbrella, and they DON'T EXPLAIN WHY!!!

We can wait, if there is a justified reason.
We CAN'T wait without reason.

It's really about making the customers look stupid or not.
Any reasonable business does NOT want to make the customers feel stupid.

That's what this is all about.

"Who cares" is not an answer, it's an offense.
3017  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 18, 2014, 10:20:28 PM

IMHO the "March 4th" week batch has been going on so long because of the drastic drop in BTC price.  So that they still think that they can supply orders for that date range.  Due to order numbers being so low.

Makes sense.

And I conclude they had the most orders in november/december by customers who payed with bitcoins.

I believe bitmine has recieved more orders than they have ever dreamed of. And more money to fund everything.

So why they can't produce although everything a manufacturer dreams of has come true, I don't understand...

3018  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 18, 2014, 10:07:42 PM

Dont even know why this tread is still here...

As a warning to other potential costumers who might fall for bitmine.ch.

Don't forget bitmine still takes new orders for march week 4 devices. They will continue to do so.

So if this thread wouldn't exist, some people would actually think they might get a device in 6 weeks if they order now.

And that is such a farce!

How come the shipping time is now SHORTER then when I made the order end of november???
I ordered end of november for a february week 1 device. That's about 10 weeks.

Now if someone places a new order they tell him that he has only 6 weeks to wait??? WTF???

Nothing makes sense anymore.

Do they not care anymore to update the date?
They let the new guys walk right into a trap...
3019  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 18, 2014, 07:12:23 PM
Unfortunately there are too many unknown variables for a funded answer, so it comes down to the gutfeeling of the individual.

In case of "unknown variables" I would always assume the worst case.

To this day, not a single person has recieved a device.
There is really nothing else to be said.

From bitmines CPP:

Quote
This will give our customers the full peace of mind that we won’t act like some past sad stories that happened with competing Bitcoin mining products manufacturers, yet protecting our investments and production plans from unexpected refund requests.

Sounds so ironic now, doesn't it..  Roll Eyes

I should have known that it's all about them, and not us customers, just look at the end of this statement:
Quote
protecting our investments and production plans from unexpected refund requests.

It's so obvious when you analyze everything they ever said and have done.
The whole CPP is to save them not us.
They cleverly disguised this as a bait to lure in new customers.
3020  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 18, 2014, 03:47:49 PM
i was just talking with Antonio and i´m giving here just short al informations about what he said.

This time they are producing only desk units an are trying to set up rig production end of this week or beginning of next week. this time production is still very slow and there are only some units (exact he could not say...) leaving production this week. next week they should start shipping rigs.
they are trying to become with production of 50 units per day, but did not hit this point yet. i will get more informations about my rigs (original shipping time week 2 in January) earliest end of next week probably.  Angry now they even don´t have a working prototype of Rig yet... so i think that if it takes 1 week from prototype to first shipping (like it is with rig), no one is seeing his rig before middle of march. only "lucky ones" will be those who ordered desks. pretty stupid...

seems that in the time of development they just did not think about production at all! if i am looking this queue position listing from retrogamer, then i really do not understand where should be a problem: lots of desks/rigs are not even full settled! just very bad management!

thanks for your feedback.

That's what I expected.  I don't think I'll get my february week 1 device(s) before end of march / beginning of april.

I feel two times fucked, because my order is comprised of 1 coindesk AND 1 coinrig...

I will probably call them and ask them if they can send the coindesk separatly... or else I will have to wait forever.
