It seems to me that Bitmine's biggest problem is the same as AMT's. Lack of good front of the house communication. AMT at least have the excuse of being somewhat amateurs.

Funny excuse that.

That aside, I dont see too many parallels. I understand Bitmine customers are nervous, but from where I sit, Bitmine delivered a working asic almost on schedule and fully on spec. Almost unheard of in this industry. As for the miners, while they are late, there is a quite decent protection program that should guarantee customers significant higher hashrate or if need be, a 110% refund . Again, thats unheard off in this industry.

AMT otoh, is a shadowy marketeer who Im betting, is just throwing someone else's boards and chips in an overpriced and unsuitable case and sells that along with a pack of lies.

on schedule ... you do realize they where to be shipped in DEC almost 2 months ago. look at the loss of BTC from those buyers ...on schedule CRAZY !

We were talking about the ASIC, not the machine.

That doesn't make sense either. They were supposed to ship miners Dec 16, which means they should have received chips 1-2 weeks prior. If my understanding is correct, they received chips in enough quantity at the end of January, so two months later  Roll Eyes.

Can't recall. I actually thought they had them first week in January, but I could be wrong. They were late, one way or the other, but less late than most everyone else.

What the hell happened since then is anybody's guess, since Giorgio is contradicting himself and/or ignoring questions... Ah well. I'm glad I have no pre-orders. Missed the boat on KNC Jupiter, and watched too many people get burned on the rest. Ants or used for this cowboy.

We (sort of) know what happened.

1. Crappy engineering (how many PCB revisions now, I surely lost track).
2. Chip delays.
3. Crappy desk/rig manufacturing and logistics.

Add all of the above together, sprinkle with a healthy dose of incompetence and lack of communication - et voila - this is Bitmine's recipe for success!  Huh

TO be clear, I said the asics were almost on time. They showed working asics at the end of december, which was later than anticipated, but not that much compared to most other vendors. The delay in getting miners out of the door is more inline with the competition Wink.

Those were only some engineering samples and they have received the bulk chips at the end of Jan (that's why "production started" on Jan 30). So again, the chips were 2 months late compared to their initial timeline. Let's keep the facts and record straight.

I have following positions in the shipping queue: 34,35,36 (2x 200ghs desk and 1x 1th desk) and still got no informations from bitmine when my orders will be ready!

Iam an old avalon clone (batch #2) customer but bitmine doenst give a single fuck about the old customers and send miners to petamine, which has a contract for the early januar batch! (source: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=PETA - •   CryptX has also a contract with Bitmine to deliver up to 180 TH/s of their devices of batch 1 early January.)

Whats wrong with them Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Iam pretty sure they alrdy have produced more then 50 units and unit 34,35,36 + upgrades should be mine....

none of them got a message for delivery date

If this queue is correct then there question open to retrogamer:

DO YOU HAVE ALREADY YOUR SHIPPING DATE?

if not, then how can pet amine get their 62 miners? if they get 62 desks before retrogamer gets his then they are shipping out of queue. there is practically no place for 62 Desks.
same thing with rigs: my rig has place 60+ in rigs queue, so if they get 55 rigs in week 10 and in retrogamers list are some rigs (and for sure in this list are not all of them listed) then i should get my miners already coming week (week 09).
Bitmine.ch said to me that they will call me at least 5 days before my miners are ready to give exact day when they are ready. i still don't have exact date...

something is really stinking here...

Enjoy your life!

Well the good news is that they are delivering at least.

what a bullshit!
if they are shipping out of queue then nobody can be sure about anything! if you are in beginning of queue and don't get your miner, then it isn´t good news! in this case its the most shitty news, because it shows just that bimine.ch is cheating us.

Enjoy your life!

it can be even truth. i don't think that petahash had to make request. i am sure it was made up already before that the first miner go to them, not considering how many customers are already in shipping queue. obviously petahash has shipping queue #-55 to #-1, no difference when they were ordering. they (petahash) had same deal with cointerra: ordering end of november and slipping smoothly to december batch (shipped out in last 2 weeks).
