3081  Economy / Lending / Re: [Quick service] [Check if you apply] Bitcoin Loans getline.in on: December 28, 2016, 05:07:11 PM
Bitcointalk Username: mybitfaucet
GetLine.in Profile Link: https://getline.in/u/2203
Amount of BTC needed: 0.5
Reason for loan: Invest in my YouTube free lessons channel. Take a look - youtube.com/c/professordalmoazevedo
Repayment Date: Monthly
Collateral: none
Are you Professor Dalmo Azevedo ? You seem to be doing just fine on the channel, you would be generating some revenue at least on monthly basis.I'm just curious as in why you need the loan for  a youtube channel ? Anyhow,as far as I'm aware, the website doesn't work like that. You need to have a solid collateral or good lending credit history to get your loan fulfilled.
3082  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BTCRobo.com is a SCAM - $1k Bounty to find owner on: December 28, 2016, 05:03:46 PM
This website looks realistic, they will give you a fake tracking number and a payment form that expire within 10 minutes.
I tried brute forcing a few Post requests and analyze the network calls,it doesn't seem fake to me.I mean they have genuine processes going on in the back-ground.

You are there waiting for your coin until you realize they are scammer, lost $1400USD.
I may support you on this one.Their "Contact Us" section seems fraudulent.

If anyone got scammed by this website and want to track the owner down contact me.

$1k USD bounty
You want the owner information or you have the owner information ? Who is giving the bounty ? Ready to escrow the funds?
3083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Article on Bitcoin in my Local Newspaper!! on: December 28, 2016, 04:54:40 PM
To start with,my local newspaper is so local that it doesn't cover half of the news happening throughout the country.Boy,I'm sure they were astounded by bitcoins beauty that they actually cared to write about it!

I'm not going to translate the entire article because there is nothing new that we need to know.Basically,it states how demonization in India has given "good days" for bitcoins. And there is a chance Indian Government may legally approve the use of bitcoins in India!

The actual article :
3084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting bitcoin on: December 24, 2016, 11:23:43 AM
It's a good move to accept bitcoins but again it's not available in my country.
Did you even read the entire thread ? Please do..

Starbucks here charges such high prices for coffee and hence I prefer CCD or Barista where the coffee taste is the same.
That is way too off dude, like what the actual fuck ? No one is interested in knowing your taste in coffee! You don't get the context,do you ?

Also on BCT, many users are selling hacked cards of Starbucks which proves that most don't consider it a valuable deal to pay high prices of Starbucks.
You can't afford it.Stop right there. * Shit posting intensifies
3085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Zcash price is going UP on: December 24, 2016, 11:17:01 AM
It's the surprise coin of the year, honestly I'm looking forward to mine this coin because of it's algo and had no problem with the founder's rewards as long as they can keep up with the development of the coin,I believe Zcash will still be a strong and profitable coin of 2017.
Wrong.Zcash will be a big time pump and dump.Falling from 5 bitcoins to 0.20,aren't good signs of a profitable coin. It's all about time, the mining would be useless and people would give up if the prices fall below 0.01.
3086  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Accepting Bitcoin MYBB - Subscription on: December 24, 2016, 11:12:03 AM
Hi Guys.

I am currently developing a forum and would like to add paid subscription via bitcoin.. I have exhausted google and searched for weeks for a solution there are many plugins for MYBB that let you accept paypal but I am not keen on paypal subscriptions.
Could someone point me in the direction of a solution for accepting btc payments via the forum..
There are multiple ways of achieving this :
1.Add a custom module on the signup page.Load another html file which would be your bitcoin transaction page inside your index.html

2.The code is open source anyway ,modify it according to your needs.

3.Access remote API's such as this one : https://bitcoinjs.org/
3087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to Float an ICO for BTC projects on: December 24, 2016, 11:07:33 AM
Hi,
I am looking for partners who are willing to work with me. I have a few BTC projects which can be developed using a Crpto currency. I have a plan and would like to hear from others who can help or advise on the right path.

Ken
Few BTC projects which can be developed using Crypto Currenices.
Isn't BTC a crypto currency too ?

On a serious note, please be more specific about your requirements.Having a plan is just not enough if you have not figured out the plan of action/progression chart.
3088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need a name for world wide distributed intellectual computing system on: December 24, 2016, 10:54:09 AM
I am voting for Shiva though am sure I do not understand its meaning at all lol. Anyway, hope there can be a short name for that beast soon.
Name of an Indian God : Wikipedia don't know how or what they represent in OP's idea.

I'd rather go with GDCS,Globally Distributed Computer System.World Wide and Intellectual are not needed.Computing system specifies it's intelligent by default.
3089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 24, 2016, 10:43:52 AM
I remember several years ago similar poll was made and i was surprised most of the users answered NO.
In case your answer is still NO, I'd like to know what is your main reason not to own one bitcoin?
Pretty sure the answers would be more than a btc.Considering the amount of signature campaigns ran here last year and the amount of participants paid, everyone participating would have made a btc.

edit: grammar
True redditor right there.
3090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do Odd-Even games on Soccer have odds so less than 1.98x ? on: December 24, 2016, 10:39:13 AM
I was looking at the odds on some soccer games and the odds I see for odd and even are way too less than 1.98. Since one of the 2 possibilities will happen shouldn't the odds atleast for one of them be atleast 1.98 ?
No that is way too good! How do you think bookies will make money ? The odds are dynamic, per action in the game reflects every digit.

Right now on one of the soccer bets I have opened, I see odds of 1.78 and 1.9. Isn't this a much bigger house edge than betting on dice instead ?
As stated,it's dynamic, those numbers might change in a few seconds if an event occurs,a goal for example unless you choose to bet at that point of time with fixed odds.
3091  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Worldwide) scammed me for 0.51873796 BTC on: December 24, 2016, 10:08:51 AM
Account is already tagged red (according to my trust settings )
You should have considered the following feedbacks, you were anyway dealing with a suspicious guy.

Quote
Vod 135: -0 / +14   2016-08-07   0.00000000   Reference   Illegally selling stolen/hacked Microsoft accounts. Keys will stop working when hack is discovered and you will not get a refund.

...followed by number of untrusted negative feedbacks.
3092  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: December 24, 2016, 09:59:51 AM
Your real life implication is just stupid. Every day gun sellers sell guns to people and people that buy guns also kill someone sometimes, but gun seller isn't guilty for this, otherwise all gun sellers would be in prison.
Wait.Selling a gun and Selling a gun illegally to kill the "President" are two different things.Anyhow let's not drag it anymore..

I think that negative feedback isn't needed, neutral is enough because I personally didn't do anything wrong, selling account isn't forbidden by BCT rules.
It's not endorsed by the community either. The feedback thing is upto Lauda.
3093  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: December 24, 2016, 09:40:32 AM
--snipe--
Either way, that negative shouldn't be removed. You are involed in too much shady shit. It's a coincidence that every account you have sold has involved in a scam.Or maybe you sell accounts to scammers ? After selling accounts, warning people to stay away from them personally doesn't make things any better.Real life implications would be : Imagine a Gun Seller who sold the Gun to kill the president.Doesn't matter how much awareness he spreads about the Gun being sold,at the end of the day,Death of the President makes him a criminal too. (I hope it has been resonated as it should be)

Worse : You sold an account which was in a campaign.
3094  Economy / Lending / Re: Personal loans on: December 24, 2016, 09:24:46 AM
I advise the OP to make a list of all the active loans, with their belonging info, like the person's name, lend amount, repayment date and the status, so we have a quick overview of the persons who didn't repay their loan on time or even repay.
Why do you care ? Are you going to help him with the loan repayment if someone fails to do so ? You know, this was not really needed..even remotely...

I want to see what kind of requests I get. And as you can see, so far, no loans were provided.
You should really stop wasting other's time if you don't intend to fill any requests.Maybe learn how the system works before starting a thread ?
3095  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is chronobank for real? on: December 24, 2016, 09:14:14 AM

i just saw them on facebook, they say its a decentralized marketplace.   this link chronobank.io
I saw them once or twice on forum ads in a few places and it made me take notice and then I saw them in a facebook ad. Nice marketing, just take the whole place over. If they are willing to spend that amount of money then I am sure we can take them seriously. At least more serious than most.
But I do not see the advantage of promoting cryptos on facebook rather than promoting here in this forum. The effectiveness and costs definitely will differ in greater degrees. The thing is they are ready to spend more but not targeting crypto users. I really do not understand the reasons behind this.
Each of them have certain advantages over another.
Bitcointalk : Typical Geeky Bitcoin crazy crowd.Mostly online money makers and freelancers.
Facebook : All the average folks who know what bitcoin is or are starting into it.
Bitcointalk advertisements are expensive compared to facebook with a limited number of market place users.Facebook is way too cheaper but promotes to a larger crowd.
Basically bitcointalk serves the niche crowd while facebook serves anybody based on their data analytics.
3096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashandme Challenge to make 1000mbtc from 2mbtc -Sports Betting- on: December 24, 2016, 09:07:51 AM
Both the bets have winning chances.Although not into those teams/games but the odds are quite obvious.Following this thread mate.
Just a suggestion, the odds seem better at directbet for the same games.
3097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 50 Dollars a Day! on: December 24, 2016, 09:01:35 AM
I think can't make 50$ a day.. betting is risk.
but i love gambling.
I use martingale strategy usually
You don't make $50 a day because you use so called "strategies" like martingale.$50 a day is totally relative to the amount of bankroll you start with. You can put $45 on a roll with 99% of winning chances and there is your winning bet of $50!
3098  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ph111 SCAMMED $400 in BTC from me PICTURE PROOF on: December 22, 2016, 06:43:29 PM
here is the conversation in PMS of him telling me his address and me sending him the 400$. He wasn't hacked at all, but once he knew I had the info and he was caught redhanded, he changed his pass and cried hack as usual scammers do.
http://imgur.com/a/zX0RI
http://imgur.com/fREyBUv
So the password is changed after the scam.He could be lying in this case, since assuming you were scammed on December 17th,the hacker must have hacked the account either days before that or the same day but thanks to our seclog which saves us time, according to seclog the password was changed on :
Quote
December 18, 2016, 10:03:37 AM - ph111 - password changed
precisely,a day after you were scammed.I believe you were conversing with the same owner during the trade.

Now,ph11 claims you had hacked his account,if so,that should be after you posted this thread, which is the most retarded thing to do and I believe he is lying again.

3099  Economy / Lending / Re: [Quick service] [Check if you apply] Bitcoin Loans getline.in on: December 22, 2016, 06:03:39 PM

Amount of BTC needed: 0.05
Reason for loan: Buy VPS
Repayment Date: 1 month

If you are newbie you need to build credit history first

How?
Definitely not by asking loans without any valid collaterals. The easiest way to build credit history is by investing a few coins on the lenders yourself. That shows you're genuinely interested in the process.
3100  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ph111 SCAMMED $400 in BTC from me PICTURE PROOF on: December 22, 2016, 06:00:26 PM
Cross posting here from another thread since it's better to continue from where it started.
My bitcointalk account ph111

He has photoshopped messages and accuses me of stealing $400 i have no idea why ?
Okay,so having read both the threads, yours and beachty88's [https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1719406.msg17216588#msg17216588],I can only see you both on the verge of doxing/suing each other. You in a way threatened to physically harm him,

I'm pretty sure i will have a decent connection in whatever country you are in anyone that needs any questions answering for me to verify my identity is more than welcome to message me !!!
Over $400 ? Instead, let community decide what's good for you both. There are two cases, two sides of the story -
-Case 1 : beachty88 claims you scammed him over $400 for a trade involving localbitcoins account. The only contact info he had as your bitcointalk account.

-Case 2 : You claim your account was hacked by beachty88 and he could have communicated from your account to his personal account and maybe sent those $400 to himself to fuck you ever with an accusation.

-Case 3 : Critics says your account's details were changed and it is possible beachty88 could have dealt with the hacker but this omits case 2.

Beachty88,please post the transaction details of the coins you sent.
