2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Legality on: October 28, 2017, 01:21:55 PM
Some countries don't allow people to invest in ICOs. Why is that? They don't allow ICO that issues dividends and represents the shares of a company, or they just ban all the ICOs?
Simple, the governments don't get to make a penny from it while people make lot of money in terms of investment and returns.
Specifically speaking not all the countries care only the highly commercialised democratic evil America and China have those rules applied last time I checked.Having said that,if you want to invest in a particular coin you can always do that with keeping enough anonymity.
2102  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What would be perfect? on: October 28, 2017, 01:10:25 PM
What is the perfect recipe for an outstanding Bounty Campaign? Should participants be rewarded in the crypto they're promoting?
- It's subjective
- Should depend on the quality of the project and their tendencies to shine in the market.
- An ICO with no base funds to market themselves offering tokens doesn't make any sense since they are literally broke.
- Promotional strategies. If I see an ICO on my social media page, reddit with people showing interest,I'd be lured to have some of their tokens.

Bounty hunters are a cancer to the forum anyway.
2103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 28, 2017, 01:01:50 PM
Hello!

I've got a few coins on the side and I'd like to make them work.
Which gambling site do you advise me to invest in the bankroll?
I haven't seen a gamlbing site which lets the user have interest, so it has no definite possibility to win in investing on gambling sites. There are two possibilities which are win or lose, and either way most people will experience losing which cannot be avoided and in most gambling sites, there is more chance to lose so i suggest don't try investing.
Who says that ? Do you mean there is no scope for making money with investing in bitcoin gambling sites at all ? Wrong.
People often conclude those results after investing in the wrong sites.Let's take crypto-games.net for instance, there is a thread by an user dedicated to the investment returns which seem lucrative in the long term.I'm not bragging but there are legitimate sites which provide value to your investment. At the end of the day,it's all about the stats.
2104  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would you want to get paid in ETH or Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 11:59:08 AM
Are there any pay roll services for bitcoin and ETH?  As a Blockchain developer or professional would you be happy to get paid in a cryptocurrency?  Sure with smart contracts - an ethereum based app is ideal for the gig economy?
People already get paid in bitcoin man ! I don't know why it should come as a point of discussion since it's obvious people want to get paid in bitcoins/other cryptos.Isn't that's the reason why all of us are here ? Check out the services section, you would find lot of open jobs are paying in bitcoins.
An APP == Fuck things up.They would have service charges + moderation + terms and conditions .Cancer to the decentralised economy.
2105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 28, 2017, 11:41:01 AM
Bitcoin is not gambling. Bitcoin is most popular and valuable currency that acceptable to all.  Its beneficial to invest through Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a currency that you use as how you use It. Bitcoin can be used to play gambling as well a lot good work and use. Everything depends on the user.
The moment someone uses the word 'invest' and 'value' along with bitcoins, the same exact moment unknowingly you guys are making it seem like gambling.Bitcoin is not gambling if,there is no crucial value attached to it,Thinking in terms of tech and revolution gives more sense to the use of bitcoins than anything else.Get your shit together pal.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you need licence to open up an online Bitcoin Casino? on: October 28, 2017, 11:34:36 AM
Just to let you know virtual currency and cryptocurrency is not the same thing, they are differences between the two, bitcoin is a cryptocurreny.
Correct. To give an example (just for the heck of it) of a virtual currency - Coins that you earn by playing cool math games.

Virtual currency is a simulated currency. Meaning it does not have the properties of money. An example is virtual currencies in games. The supply is controlled by the game company, they decide when to issue more (or sometimes not as bugs create duplication).

Digital currency has all the properties of money, while existing on the internet.
It would be a waste of time and derailing the thread to comment here.

OP,it needs a license should you not choose to operate illegally.Everything else is pretty much dependent on your location and laws.
2107  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralized Youtube on: October 28, 2017, 11:30:34 AM
How would it benefit me? I don't care in the slightest how centralised or not youtube is. A decentralised version would be heaving with child porn, beheadings and spammy junk. It would probably be intolerable to use.
Well, aren't those part of the ecosystem ? Those are the negatives  you are pointing out in the system.

You can benefit by :
 - Not having to watch add you don't need.
 - Don't have to sign in every time you are watch a video with a swear word.
 - You don't be spammed with annoying related videos which you don't like..

I don't think it's that bad.My point is,everything else is tolerable but watching the damn adds.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John Mcafee to release his own token - McafeeCoin on: October 28, 2017, 09:52:00 AM
If it is released for sure then it will definitely be the most hyped coin and will increase 1000x times it's value.
Retard spotted, right here.I don't know about you but humans are generally equipped with something called as a brain which apparently is the right way to think. Lips sealed

As it's an incubator but also a fund involved in trading, I suspect it will be quite hard to justify such a token is a utility token and not share token. So I may not investing for that reason, but the more high profile investors get into crypto, it will only be good for the whole market.
It is an commercial organisation.Whatever is the outcome, they will always make money and that is their only true motive for conducting an ICO.People with upright brains (like the one quoted above) is the primary source for their business.
2109  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralized Youtube on: October 28, 2017, 09:48:30 AM
Imagine a p2p youtube and without spam videos did you like the idea?
And how exactly are we planning to pay for the hosting services and the daily maintenance ? Truly,it can never be decentralised. There has to be a middleman involved to do all the technical stuff that is again generating a revenue model to keep the business up.Moreover, people will start claiming rights for the stolen videos.Like leaked movie trailer goes on your website, you have a lawsuit to take your website down as it promotes privacy.
2110  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Samourai Wallet - SegWit Enabled Bitcoin Wallet on: October 28, 2017, 09:45:45 AM
I would say it's not worth it to use the wallet if you've got to go through that much trouble...might be hard to find another multisig wallet I guess though.
Why multi-sig ? One could avoid all the trouble by simply checking the transaction fees according to latest network congestion and broadcast a transaction then.I wouldn't move to a wallet just because they have an ability to speed up my stuck transaction due to my inability to check the network requirements.I don't need that much of automation in life.
2111  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Questions on my future bitcoin casino project! on: October 28, 2017, 09:41:42 AM
Hey guys I'm new to everything, bitcoin, btc casino, this forum and etc.
After using a few bitcoin casino's i thought it would be nice if I start my own btc casino, and i figured out the script (gonna purchase one) but i couldn't figure some stuff out.
Here's a few questions I had:
 1. Do i need a license? How much is the license?
Yes definitely,if you need people who could trust you with their money you need a license. It wouldn't be that difficult as lot of scam casinos are licensed anyway.

2. Are we all sure it's legal?
 3. What kind of domain do i need to buy if I want to put my own script? (I heard there were a couple of different types of scrupts)
- Depending on your country and jurisdiction.
 - You need to hire a developer to have something made from scratch. You cannot run a business on a script.Your competitors will eat you alive.
2112  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info Bitcoin Gold on: October 28, 2017, 05:30:27 AM
blockchain.info hasn't made an official statement on the Bitcoin Gold fork, have they? I assume they're going to do the same thing they did with Bitcoin Cash, but who knows.
They won't.It doesn't matter. They will simply allow you to access your private keys with your bitcoins in it and you can export/import into any wallets that support Bitcoin Gold.Going forward you should remember the same will apply to all the forked coins.

Looks like Bitcoin Gold continues to tank, so maybe they'll not bother with it?
Regardless, they won't.Same happened with bitcoin cash.
2113  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Attention Please] Mbitcasino SCAM!!!! on: October 26, 2017, 07:35:29 PM
This is what im trying to ask on where there should really be some screenshots or whatsover that would really justify.Either the conversation between him and on the site.Since this is just verbal accusation without any strong proof then it wont really be valid at all. This thing just turns out to be an another way of begging some satoshis to the community.
How is it begging satoshi's from the community when someone is saying they;re scammed ? Never knew community pays to the people who are scammed by the gambling sites. Roll Eyes
You can just ask to provide proofs and see if he can submit them until then why cant just co-operate and see if the site is actually at a fault ?
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John Mcafee to release his own token - McafeeCoin on: October 26, 2017, 07:24:40 PM
Knock Knock : Who is there ?
Virus : This is a virus trying to attack the system you are trying to defend McaFee!

McaFee : Hello Nah! This is my paid customer I wouldn't let you attack their system in any way.

Virus : But I'm just born yesterday and you don't have the patch needed to keep me away.Looks like your customer hasn't downloaded them yet.Make way please..

McaFee: Ohh wait a second. "Keep Updated with the latest security features, buy our tokens to get the latest path for new viruses"
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think dicing can take over the real money market like it did with Bitcoin on: October 26, 2017, 07:19:47 PM
Judging by statistics on websites like dicesites.com websites are doing 10's of million of dollars a week in volume in dicing. Do you think this could translate to the real money market. Dicing obviously is giving all other casino games a run for their money being the most popular by far.
What the hell is dicing ? Whatever it is it cannot take the bitcoin market as those stats on most of the websites are fake and bitcoins are always under circulation.

I heard Primedice might be working on it... It could be rumoured around their possible ICO post?
Doesn't matter.Maybe I'm not able to comprehend whatever is said but pretty sure it wouldn't take over the real money market.
2116  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Attention Please] Mbitcasino SCAM!!!! on: October 26, 2017, 07:16:11 PM
Yeah thats roght, better file a formal complain at scam section so the proper action and sanction will be implemented,im sorry for your losses but hoping that the management will do necessary action regarding your complain
That barely helps, all these sites are registered to some shithole government that doesn't care about anything. Moreover government is going to sue his ass for playing illegally on the website.

you are allowed to deposit and play without ID verification, then you are also allowed to withdraw without ID verification, except there is a substantial scam accusation.
Correct. There is no really solution to it except the casino returns his money or shuts down forever.
2117  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Crypto Gambling Foundation will be calling out fake "Provably fair" sites on: October 26, 2017, 07:11:43 PM
Nice initiate ! It again depends why would someone take your words seriously ? Would you be negotiating with the gambling websites to show those websites are legit thereby getting paid from them or this is just another quick money making gimmick ? Lots of possibilities.

Unless your estimation involves math and logic I wouldn't take your seriously.
2118  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: what disruptive technology can affect bitcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 07:06:17 PM
sustaining technology versus disruptive technologies
Not at least any time soon. The future tech will be totally based on the foundation of bitcoin so you can never say it would replace bitcoin.Robotics can potentially affect bitcoin in many was. They can replace miners completely.

Quantum computing could iirc make cryptography, including ECC weaker (a 4096 bit key would be as easy to break as a 2048 bit key is now). However, if we could get people to agree on it, we could change Bitcoin to use a newer, quantum resistant system.
Yes that would drastically change computing in general and not just bitcoin.Same goes for high bandwidth connections which would transfer terabytes of data over seas in milliseconds.
2119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank system better at tracking illegal activity than bitcoin on: October 26, 2017, 07:01:37 PM
Here comes the bankers, criticizing Bitcoin again:

Bank system better at tracking illegal activity than digital currencies like bitcoin, says BofA CEO Moynihan
https://www.cnbc.com/2017/10/26/banks-beat-bitcoin-at-tracking-illegal-use-says-bofa-ceo-moynihan.html
Those Government, commercialised pieces of shit have nothing better to do in life than give their unwanted opinions.Whoever Bofa is ,sounds like a complete turd to me.Nonetheless, these critics are paid to pew shit out of their mouths unlike honest users of bitcoin.

Okay, cough it up.

Which one of you out there is laundering money?
Government is laundering money since it's existence.By hiding their ledgers from the public who even knows what's what ? Like I said,Bofa needs to slap himself with a book or two and study economy once again.
2120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 19, 2017, 08:00:38 PM
Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.
You can have shared addresses which would be used by two people something like an joint account. On;y compulsion is the other party should be very trusted.Otherwise they can use multi-escrow system.

BTC
So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh
Simple, create a dedicated wallet for your child, paper wallet the private keys and never look back at it again until the day you're handing it over to your kid. There are multiple ways to do this and it's subjective.
