3121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: September 26, 2015, 05:47:36 AM
If martingale really worked & was 100% effective all of the time then there would be no casinos because they'd all be bankrupt. Sure it may work in patches & make the game slightly in your favour but there are no guaranteed strategies to beat casinos all of the time.

Just enjoy gambling, don't try & be too clever or you will lose everything.

If it is not working why there are so many people still using this as their strategy? I think artingale is useful but not in a long run, after you win some you should probably stop it for a while and later continue it or if you dont want you can start again tomorrow, it is better

Because it's through the winning bets that profit is made and that's what most people see. The strategy of doubling on losing it's a zero-sum tactic. When the roll is good, you recover only the lost bet. Many others had made a better analysis of it and even I said I used it, but my experience is that not works at all. Nevertheless, for me it's a fun coin toss that is exciting when you recover a huge losing zero bet.

It's not a zero-sum bet. It's always +1.

Lost 2, win 3 (+1)
Lost 3, win 4 (+1)

But you will lose everything before you double up your starting bankroll.
3122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Multiple Signature Campaigns on: September 26, 2015, 05:45:57 AM
Is it possible to join multiple signature campaigns? allowed?

IMO, it's kind of greedy thinking of joining multiple sig campaigns simultaneously. Isn't sig campaigns generous enough allowing you to "chat" on a forum and get paid for it? There was a brief time when this was possible when signature ads was simple one liners. Now that signature designs are so elaborate, it simply isn't possible to fit 2 sigs in one sig area.

You are a good designer and i think that you can "compress" if you want the signatures designs to fit the signature space.

But if this idea ever comes true it would be best practice to advertise 2 different type of signatures Smiley but at the moment i haven't seen any.

Campaign owners don't allow it. Not because it's not possible, but because it creates competition. It would make no sense for a business to willingly allow their own competition in the same space.

I don't think so. There can be two signature without connection with each other and every signature would attract its niche of market of people interested about it. The space when the signatures can be put can be enlarged in order that there can be place for both of those. Naturally the two signatures must be decently placed and well divided between each other and very well differentiated in order that must not be interfered. But as we can see every owner of site want all the space of signature for himself. And since it is he who pay his desire is an order.  Wink

Competition isn't just in a single niche. Competition is also competition for space. They pay what they do because they get all the space. Campaigns USED to (most) allow you to use more than one, but they also paid far less.
3123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 26, 2015, 05:34:35 AM
The only winning strategy is to be the bank and invest in a dice site, although that still runs the risk of the site getting 'hacked' and stealing all your bitcoins.

The only strategy decision you make with dice sites is how quickly you lose all your bitcoins.  Burn through your stash fast or bleed it slow.  Your choice.

Owning a gambling site must be very profitable indeed, nice thought.  Grin

That is also correct because any way we can't win any money from gambling but can make money from these gambling sites.

You aren't guaranteed to win just because you own a gambling site. All it takes is one whale to decimate a bankroll, pushing out investors and potentially taking down a casino.
3124  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: September 26, 2015, 05:22:47 AM
the investor is literally getting their deposit back from their own money over a period of 20 days.  So where do you get scam from this?

What happens on day 21? Once you've given the investor all their money back, where does the next day's money come from?

That's where we get "scam" from. In order for this not to be a scam you need to be generating 4 to 6% in real profits each day, and you can't.

I left you some trust feedback. I will remove it if you can show any evidence that you aren't running a Ponzi scheme.

This. At 4%/day, you'd turn $100 into $1m in 236 days. In less than 60 days past that, you'd be at $10m. End of year 1? $158,538,777.

Let's try with $1k and 6%. Now after:

236d: 884,867,689
296d: 29,189,741,779
365d: 1,626,802,969,124

You would be a TRILLIONAIRE on day 357, less than a year after starting. And that's just with $1k.

Something's not adding up.

110% - 150% Table Starter Rakeback Now Automated at Betcoin Poker

The ever so popular 110% - 150% Table Starter Rakeback promo has returned, only this time it is fully automated and easy to track.

https://www.betcoin.ag/110-150-table-starter-rakeback-now-automated

This is definitely a good news, that "sit at tables"+"send support ticket"+"end playing"+"send support ticket" was really a pain to me (even if it allowed us to take advantage of the most generous offer of online poker world...to be honest)

Another great move from betcoin poker

Yeah, all the hoops before kept me from taking part. This is really great, and should help bring more people on board (I'll be taking part, too!).

Currently offering 0.033 BTC! Really trying to keep away from third-party sites if possible.
3128  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] CS:GO CD Key on: September 25, 2015, 03:56:24 PM
You can purchase it in http://dispenser.tf/ using bitcoin, and this way you don't have to use escrow and receive the game inmediatly.

I wasn't even aware of that site, thanks, Smiley. Monbux got a hold of me last night and I got back to him so this may already be taken care of.
3129  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] CS:GO CD Key on: September 25, 2015, 02:02:33 AM
Bump! Also keeping up with Steam sales since it'll be that time very shortly, so whichever I get first, Smiley.

I do feel obligated to explain how to calculate the "house edge" on the tickets:  (1-(prize/tickets-allocated)/ticket-price)*100 so that is: (1-(3.5/50995)/0.0002)*100 = 66% HE

I understand it's just an optional extra thing and that's okay, but just want people to know what they are getting. Better just make Bets Tongue

It's also worth noting that the % you came up with changes. If people allocate 100%, now the HE on them is different. In any case, I agree that playing is the best way to earn them.

It changes but still it is much better to play than buy, in my opinion.

Better just make Bets

Edit: LOL. (didn't get it the first time I read)

I bet for my tickets but I think we are forgetting that to buy them is a definite and betting you can lose and not get any....so I see why they added options.

I like the options anyways. More money for the site means better prizes in the future so I'm all for it, Smiley.

I love this contest, Smiley. Going to follow the leaderboard and see who hits it. It's a pretty nice consolation prize!
3132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 24, 2015, 10:17:39 PM
Even with the most sophisticated strategy you will have a negative expected value at the end it is eventually a loss.
You can win three times in a row by betting at 99x multiplier and then lose 25 times in a row at 2x multiplier.
You will only be able to win against the house if you have infinite bankroll and quit after the first win.

Casinos have max. bets, so your bankroll is irrelevant. You can't ever win a bet bigger than the casino will let you. That's why there's caps.
3133  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - CPM/CPC campaigns now available on: September 24, 2015, 08:59:41 PM
Do publishers make more if they have most traffic coming from tier 1 countries? or does it just simply matter on UI and country is not counted?

It's split evenly based on # of views, so country tiering doesn't play a role. Though I do think it'd be nice to be able to start a campaign for just a specific country.
3134  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Multiple Signature Campaigns on: September 24, 2015, 08:57:30 PM
No buddy you are not allowed to join multiple cmpaigns at once..
i am afraid if you do so you will get banned from campaign.

It is not true. Coinot allow two kind of signatures. First the classic signature and second the avatar.

An avatar is not a signature -- it's an avatar. Signature implies the message below your posts.
3135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 24, 2015, 08:56:55 PM
The only strategy is to be lucky.

Yes, agreed with you. There is no real strategy in dice, you just have to be lucky to win in dice.
i cant agree with this idea, using strategies can actually help you to win a bit more of course you wouldnt beat the casino entirely but you could make more profit with it than betting recklessly without it

You can still lose everything on your first betting chain. Even with strategies, you never guarantee you'll ever make ANY profit at all.
3136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: September 24, 2015, 03:36:26 PM
I've became interested in playing dice games with my BTC but every time I play I lose. Is there something that I'm doing wrong, or dice games are supposed to be like that? (sorry I'm new to this) Isn't there a guide or tutorial where I could get started playing these games? I don't know how this really works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks  Wink

So far, I like dicecoin.io  Cheesy

Martingale all the way. Make sure you have a big bankroll, and as soon as you make some profit, leave. The house edge will get you some day, some time. When you least expect it.

Mathematically, your best chance is to risk all at 50% and hope for the best. Martingale can fail on the first string of bets and is very, very likely to fail before you get up by 25%, much less 50%.

3139  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make Bitcoin transactions untraceable? on: September 24, 2015, 07:02:52 AM
Mixer are best ways to do so...

Read earlier in the thread. Mixers do almost nothing and if you use them, you're wasting your money. It's easy to see the signatures across addresses.
3140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest and simplest way to keep bitcoins? on: September 24, 2015, 07:00:51 AM
I guess the simplest and safest way to keep your bitcoin would be with Blockchain.info. Depending on what you want to do with your bitcoin, this web-based wallet is probably the safest and simplest. You can also take a look at the Ninki wallet

it's not the safest, i would avoid any online wallet, usually because safety come first than simplicity

i would point my attention on local wallet only and cold stuff, the rest is not secure at all

Places like Coinbase are insured, though, so if they're hacked, you're protected. Doesn't protect your password, but it's a good way to hold a hot wallet and make it easily accessible.
