Faucets are a an absolute waste of time and effort.
I have no idea why people waste time and effort on trying to acquire fractions of cents while being bombarded by ads and making the faucet owners richer. Bitcoin doesn't need faucets at this points. It needs more public jobs for untalented bitcoiners for ways to get fractions of BTC for honest work or help them acquire marketable skills such as web development or graphics design.
The internet and Bitcoin were made for people to trade things. Yet all I seem to see on these forums are beggars, scamtards and people looking for handouts. I know personally that it is possible to make BTC simply by going out and working for them.
We should encourage new users to NOT use faucets, and to direct them into designing new services and products which can be purchased via BTC.
Wait, so you're saying Bitcoin, a currency (money) is like money? I'm flabbergasted at that claim. There's no way money is money and is earned in the same ways!

Signed up and giving it a go. We'll see how it works. I'll report back, . Thank you Ranlo. And we want to improve. so feedback are appreciated Off the top of my head... a biggie: in "mainstream," there's a lot of porn banners coming up. Huge issue for family sites. Looks like there is one that comes up under "Bitcoin" as well. And question: if you want two banners on one page (say 468 and another), do you need to set up two zones, or can you use one and just use the separate codes? And what if you want to have two of the same size?

It's a little concerning that you don't appear to have replied to any of his posts here. He seems to be raising valid concerns, but you leave them unanswered.
Did you really use 10 BTC confiscated from cheating players to fund a promotion instead of giving them back to the players they were stolen from? If so, how do you justify that?
Did you really allow those same cheating players to them play in the freeroll funded with the money they stole, after claiming to have zero tolerance for cheating? That sounds pretty crazy if it's true.
Hi Dooglus, it's because we did return most of the btc and we still ran a 10 btc freeroll to thank players for their support on top of returning funds. This was many months ago and was handled expediently. Ironically, most of the players were from a prop program which we no longer have, yet most of the players still play in. No we did not allow those players to play in the tournament but as you may know a bitcoin gaming website creates some unique challenges which we embrace. We have addressed all of this before and will happily address it again as we continue to move forward. Thanks guys! Jessica Ahhh, I remember that situation. That was, in fact, a long time ago. I remember a lot of community backlash both on the forums and on the site as a result, and Betcoin apologizing for the wrong action taken IIRC.

yes i think so. many people who do faucets spent every day at the computer just to get dime. and I think it is very harmful and a waste of time the results of faucets are also not comparable with the signature campaign result
Using your logic, it isn't worth it to pick up a dollar on the ground because I have a job. That is rather silly thinking it doesn't hurt me to bend over and pick that dollar up. Faucets are great for Bitcoin and I hope they continue to make more. Picking up a dollar is very different from spending several hours to make a dollar. Getting half a dollar on faucets may take you up to 8-9 hrs. as far as my experience on it goes. With that amount of time, you could have probably worked irl rather than spending it on rotators and faucets. Real-life work is the most profitable? Who would have guessed? ... ...

So you're using the site to monetize chests (get people to purchase them) and then harass potential customers by using a link shortener so you can earn more? No thanks. This is a horrible business practice.

Don't you think that using the same name as existing project, only replacing ".com" with ".info" is a bit unethical? It's pretty confusing as many would think you're just another edition of the original Bitcoin Black Friday (founded by Jon Holmquist). Here's the thread of the original BBF: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1244329.0Site link: http://bitcoinblackfriday.comThe least you could do is mention that you are new project, not related to original. Instead you introduce "Thomas Silva" as a 'founder' (of what? website?). Could you be more clear about it here and on your website, some might think you're trying to profit on someone else's hard work and trust that he earned over the last years. Technically, the original project can file a petition to have the domain taken if they can prove BBF.info is attempting to exploit users that don't know the site they wanted was .com. That said, they're two separate projects and IMO, more is better, in the spirit of decentralization.

Are the rakebacks here on top of the normal ones from being a member of Betcoin, or in lieu of?

Awesome idea here! Tagging the thread as I can't deal with it atm but will definitely evaluate this a little later today, .

after coming to bitcointalk site and learning about signature campaign, i feel that earning from faucet is like peanut and what i earn in a month that i can earn in a week. now i have to make my rank upgrade.
isn't better to do any job in real life and convert a portion in bitcoin, it would be much more satisfying than clicking a bunch of captcha every day and much more rewarding, also it permit to accumulate more bitcoin, while they are still cheap many people forget that in the future it will be very hard to acquire even 1 btc Nobody knows what the future holds. It could just as easily be replaced by another coin, making BTC worthless. The infrastructure is exactly the same. this was proven to be not the case, many coins went out since bitcoin was launched, and every single of them failed miserably, i'm not worried about pure clone, they will not overcome bitcoin ever i'm more worried about new fresh technology that can put on shadow the whole blockchain Uh, it's all in its infancy. This is like saying "MySpace will always be the top social network because many more were made after it and they failed."

Faucets are great for Bitcoin and I hope they continue to make more. The same as people that will do an hour of work for a few dollars or volunteer for free, really. Different people value their time differently. I hate when people make blanket statements about how they think OTHERS should feel when we're all different. Some like faucets, some don't. It's asinine for people to claim that they magically know what's best for everyone else.

As for TwitchySeal we just appreciate the passion and keeping us at the top of the bitcointalk thread because it's helping to drive some new players through! You can also catch TwitchySeal aka OHYEAH in our live player chat nearly 24/7!

That sounds pretty crazy if it's true. This is somewhat concerning to me as well. If someone is cheating, funds should be returned to those they were stolen from, rather than be thrown out in a blanket promo. And cheaters should be permanently banned -- if someone cheats and gets caught, they will simply be sneakier the next time around.

After logging in, can I download unlimited videos and PDF files of the courses just like Udemy Ripper? Or, is it a "stream-only" account with no access to downloading? Furthermore, are the accounts "country-specific"?
Lynda does not have a download option, but you can use IDM or video downloader professional to DL them You can access the mobile site on a mobile device to watch there For Premium users, Lynda DOES have a download option. Source: have premium. It's called "offline viewing" on Lynda. They let you download an view the file normally? Pretty sure you are only able to view them using the app/site. You can't view them "normally." You can download them and view them through their app. Same thing. If you have premium then you have the same access. Yep, he means downloading on PC Their app works on PC...

Is there an English version as well? Sadly, Google Translate butchers the entire thing when converting, making it really difficult to read, .

New/current image: I wander what that is... Current wrong answers are "replicate" and "replicant". Pot = BTC8.58 Just a question to OP, does the text have to be a real word? (Edit:) Or a word in a different language? There's two more options: replicare and replicase. It looks like it's replicase though. At least if this is English.

Don't have graphs or something similar, but it's obvious anyway. 2 days ago we banned a faking views site with 10000 uniques daily that had 0-1 clicks per day. The problem is that until we notice that he already takes his 20% of our total pool revenue for 1 or two days, withdraws immediately and all other legit sites suffer with lowered revenue which we can't return or recalculate. Now we don't even need to chase and ban such sites, they can keep faking but will automatically win nothing from us. This method will also encourage placing our banner well visible, not just putting it somewhere to count views.
Yeah, I like the change a lot, was mostly looking for like a "case study." This is something that I haven't had to deal with myself (but most networks I use are invite-only and only target high-quality sites so that's likely a big reason).
