There was only a destruction by Real Madrid today. They had one of their most dominant games and finished off Elche by 4-0. Elche had better appreciate Real Madrid for not scoring more. Because Real Madrid had 13 shots on target.    Benzema could have made a hat-trick as he scored 2 goals. Asensio also scored today which is good for him.

Asensio's future is still ambiguous at the team though. Real Madrid still haven't extended his contract which ends this summer.

It's really unbelievable. How have Arsenal become a team like this so easy? This was their third game in a row in which they lost points.

This was an important game for the top position in the standings. Arsenal were really bad about finding the target today. They had only one shot on target in the whole game. Ball possession was very in favour of them though but this didn't help much either. Manchester City had a very efficient game and destroyed them by 3-1. This win has carried them to the top now. Arsenal still have one more missing game though and they had better win that.

Among Manchester United's striker targets I see Tammy Abraham as well. Honestly this would be a really good move for Abraham and the Red Devils both.

Manchester United are already trying to find a complete striker such as Kane, Osimhen and so. If they fail in convincing both of them then they can change their direction to Abraham directly. Abraham is very familiar with the Premier League in the end so I don't think he would have much problem. I think he would be a much better choice than Martial as well.

I see another very comfortable game waiting for Napoli in two days. This time they are going to play an away game against Sassuolo. I can comfortably say Sassuolo are one of the weak teams in the league this season. Their condition is getting worse and their future doesn't look very promising in the Serie A for now.

Their Milan game shouldn't be misleading. Yes maybe they destroyed Milan by a very unexpected score but this doesn't mean that they can stay strong against Napoli as well. Milan's defense was just horrible then. Napoli are in a solid shape and they should be winning this comfortably.

The only game today and the last one of this week at the same time is Real Madrid - Elche.

Courtois, Kroos and Vinicius Junior are missing players for this game. But I still don't expect any surprises in this game of course. Elche are not one of the teams that can make difficulties for Real Madrid in Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid need to continue winning in this kind of comfortable games to be able to keep up with Barcelona somehow. The point gap has already got much bigger. They shouldn't let it pass 10 points.

Arsenal - Manchester City game is going to be very important for the league championship. The current gap is only three points now.

Manchester City are shown as the favourite side for the win today. The odd gap between is not too big actually but this is still something for them. Arsenal could have been the favourite side if their form didn't drop recently. They lost five points in their previous two games. They need to motivate themselves well for this critical game somehow. I still hope to see a solid team against Manchester City especially in offense. I hope they can win here.

Maybe you will turn out to be right about that in time. Because Union Berlin haven't been in this kind of a situation all the time so far. There have been ups and downs for them during the season. I don't know how long they can keep up this chase for the league title. I just assessed the situation considering the current placements in the standings.

Dortmund are making me really surprised by the way. Normally the Bundesliga title is not their main target according to their vision. But now they are very close to the leader and let's see how things go in the coming weeks.

I was so expectant from Inter about winning against Sampdoria but here we are. It was really surprising to see the final result as 0-0.

Actually Inter had a very dominant game against their opponent. Both halves were the same but still there was no goal. This could be the unluckiest game of the season for Inter. There was a Lukaku - Martinez duo on the field after a long time. This made me excited because of the old times. But this time this duo couldn't become productive I'm afraid. I hope Lukaku improves his game soon otherwise his future might not be bright here.

Liverpool are also a part of the rumours related to Osimhen now. They are also said to be after him to sign. This makes me think about whether they have some other plans about Nunez. Because he hasn't been able to meet the expectations as you know. He can't make the needed goal contribution to the team as he has been expected to do since the beginning.

There is Firmino as well maybe but Liverpool might even be planning to part ways with Nunez and sign Osimhen instead. But the Osimhen part is only a rumour for now of course.

The improvement I mentioned finally came by Liverpool. They got a 2-0 win against Everton in Anfield and I can say it was a comfortable win.

Everton had only one shot on target in the whole game. After beating Arsenal I wondered if they would be able to do something in this one as well. When we consider Liverpool's condition it wouldn't be surprising. But instead we saw a much better Liverpool. They had a really effective attacking game and deserved the win here. Hopefully this can help them improve their morale for the upcoming games.

There are only a few minutes left for the Sampdoria - Inter game to start.

This is totally a winnable game for Inter obviously. I don't expect any mistakes from them while they are having a productive time period in the league. Sampdoria are one of the mediocre teams in the league as you can see. They are having a horrible season by collecting only 10 points in 21 games. Inter should be able to get a win by two goals at least. But of course this won't change much thing for Napoli as they are far ahead of them anyway.

Frankfurt have lost some of their momentum these days. They got a really big defeat against Koln by 3-0 this time. Frankfurt had a really bad defending in this game which was the biggest factor in this loss. I thought that maybe their mind was on their Champions League game but there is still around one week to go for that. So I wonder what the reason behind this is.

They are quite away from the championship race in the league now as a result. But they are still in the fight for top 4 that's for sure.

Maybe all of those games were against weak teams but these wins are very important for Ajax anyway. Because they needed to boost their morale somehow.

They scored 12 goals and conceded 2 in their last 3 games in the league. These are amazing statistics for Ajax indeed. It's like the version of them we are familiar with is back again now. This is really important for them as well right before the beginning of the Europa League. Maybe their priority is the Eredivisie but I think they would do their best in the Europa League as well.

It is difficult to say that Klopp is untouchable. Because we have a great example ahead of us like Tuchel. He was also seeming like untouchable for Chelsea after all these things they achieved together. But Boehly gave up on him very easily because of Tuchel's not fulfilling one of their wishes. This is a proof that nobody is untouchable in this league.

Liverpool need to make improvement somehow. If they don't qualify for even the Champions League then who knows maybe Klopp's time here will run out.

I didn't like Barcelona's performance against Villarreal at all. Because there wasn't the usual dominance by Barcelona side. Even ball possession statistics were very close to each other. Villarreal even had more goal attempts than their opponent but it was still not enough for scoring any goal. It must be due to their being out-of-form these days.

But still Barcelona found a way to win this game by 1-0 away. They are literally unstoppable recently and these points are very valuable for the league title as well.

Juventus got their second win in a row but it is really difficult to expect them to qualify for any European tournament unfortunately. Because the gap with even the 6th position is quite high like 10 points now. Besides there are a couple of teams fighting for the same goal. In addition to that there is even a possibility for Juventus to get another punishment which would make things worse for them.

But I still liked their effort against Fiorentina today. They had so many goal opportunities so I believe it is a well-deserved victory.

Lens are experiencing a really bad time period now. This was their fourth week in a row that they lose points. This horrible form has thrown them by two positions in the standings as a result.

I had my doubts about Lens to maintain their title run or even the second position until the end. They didn't prove me wrong as it seems. This time they lost to Lyon despite showing a good performance actually. They just couldn't hold onto one point at least. Marseille and Monaco are benefiting from the situation very nicely of course.

There is only the Liverpool - Everton game left on this week. Diaz is still injured but Firmino's condition is questionable now. Maybe we could see him in the lineup at least by entering the game in the second half. Liverpool really need some improvement in their scoring skills now. Injuries are a factor to prevent them from doing a good job as well.

But they need to try to improve their defending as well. I can't say that their offense is the only problem. They conceded 3 goals from even Wolves as you know.

Now the championship race is more like among Bayern Munich, Union Berlin and Dortmund now.

Because the biggest gap among these teams is only three points. Union Berlin are the biggest surprise team in the season among them of course. They were even the leader previously but they lost a couple of positions due to starting a bad form. But still they made a big effort again and climbed to the second position. It looks like they are very determined to stay in this competition until the end. The championship run is just lovely in the Bundesliga now.

Napoli maintained their incredible form with another victory over Cremonese this time. It was a very comfortable one for them indeed by 3-0. Osimhen is still continuing to score his goals in the league. This is strengthening the possibility of some big teams to make an offer for him this summer. It will be quite difficult for Napoli to keep him here as of the end of the season.

The season is really over already. At least for the championship.
