Q3 2019 according to the roadmap
I own some VITE, so I will not be able to trade them in exchanges, yet? Depends on whether you are own (old) Vite ERC20 tokens or (new) native Vite tokens. If you have ERC20 tokens then you can trade. If you have native Vite tokens then not because the network is still in test net. If you are confused about I'll try to explain briefly. Vite tokens were originally issued on the Ethereum platform as ERC20 tokens. Later, after release of testnet, native Vite token was released. Everyone who owns ERC20 tokens need to convert to native tokens.

Have you tried the telegram channels? There are few of them in english and there should also be localized vechain channels as well.
No, I did not. I do not like Telegram channels for good discussion. It is good to get in contact with particular people but not make useful discussions. Discussion history is hard to follow and incomprehensible. However, in the meanwhile, I found Vechain's Reddit as a good alternative. It seems like most of the discussion about the project is taking place there.

Buffet is a great investor. No question. He only has one problem. He belongs to a generation for whom change is always happening slowly. For this reason, many of this generation find it difficult to overlook epochal changes through digitization and automation. That's why Buffet missed the tech industry. He has not invested in companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Netflix etc. for a long time. As he admitted, because he did not understand it for a long time. It's the same with the new area of decentralizing everything. An important part of it are cryptos, blockchain, smart contracts and so on. He does not understand it again and makes the same mistake as before. That is also the reason why he is always negative about it.

Would be great to see a full list of foundation salaries, help decide if this proposal is worth it.
There is no exact and full list of former foundation salaries. The future salaries however can be derived from the costs presented in the recent funding proposal for 2019. The video lists the costs for employees and their roles starting at 27:49. I work in the technology field and the planned salaries are average for full time employees.

how to make a game on waves blockchain any tutorial
If you are really interested, then I recommend you the Youtube channel of the Waves Platform. There are now many videos on how to program smart contracts for Waves. For instance, in this video you get an introduction how to create, deploy and use smart contracts on Waves. But you already have to have programming skills and a basic understanding of design patterns, so that you are able to seriously program a smart contract.

Thanks for sharing! Does anybody know if there is another good place to talk about VeChain? In this thread is relatively little going on and for such a project - with this market value - there must still be discussions elsewhere, isn't?

all 3 ICOs exit scam
Can you name them here, please. Naming 3 exit-scam ICOs, please. OByte (or formerly Byteball) is a very good project. He talks not about Byteball/Obyte. He talks about the ICOs which were started utilizing Byteball's platform. One of the ICOs is Titan Coin. SilentNotary was another ICO. I remember that there was at least one more but do not have the name. For all who want to talk about Titan Coin should better use the official thread (even if there is not so much going on).

In the next days, we'll invite 100K+ of our ICO participants to have exclusive access to the RC1 version before it's opened to the public.
Well finally. Then the last will have noticed that the token makes no sense for the app. How do you actually want to make sure that all ICO participants know that the RC1 is available, or even better, how are you going to make sure that the link is not just massively shared? It seems to me, again, very arbitrary.

What kind of returns could I expect, say I had 10k investments and started harvesting, how many xems could I get?
Depends on your reputation. Among other things, the more transactions you made the higher is your importance. I have several accounts for several use cases and all are harvesting. One of them has around 12k XEM (so similiar as the amount you're asking for). It usually finds 3-5 blocks a weeks, many are empty but some contain fees. Back in November I even found a block with 320 XEM in fees. However, you need to consider that your amount is not completely used for harvesting from the beginning. The reason is vesting mechanism. Your balance will gradually be counted as your harvesting balance.

i prefer shut down FOUNDATION
I disagree. I think we both are supporters of NEM. A project like NEM needs a unit or organization that developes a common strategy and manages all the worldwide events and activities. However, such a bloated organization as it was in 2018 is wrong. In addition, interested companies in NEM-tech need a single point of contact. That's why the organization has a meaningful and important task. I really like how the reorganization, improvement and future plans and transparently presented by Alexandra Tinsman in a recent video.

Now, the next question is: How on Earth can you recover the stolen tokens from the thief? A hard fork? I believe its the only solution but a solution that damages a crypto's reputation. Why a hard fork. If my IOTAs were be stolen because I used a website for seed creation, what I did aswell, without changing some characters, because we all know, you can not trust anyone in the internet, then this is your personal mistake. There was no hard fork because GOX stole Bitcoins from their costumer. It is your personal risk everyday. The best solution would be that the person, who have been stolen, can authorize that the IOTAs belongs to him to get the IOTAs back. Otherwise the IOTAs should be spread via an auction like they did with other crypto currencies. Did you read my post before you posted this? There was no single word about a hard fork. Did Iota swap at main net ?
IOTA has been in Mainnet for a long time.

Now, the next question is: How on Earth can you recover the stolen tokens from the thief? A hard fork? I believe its the only solution but a solution that damages a crypto's reputation. Did you even read the article or only the title? There is no word about a hard fork or something similar. There will be no hard fork. The thief was found and arrested and probably the police have secured the private keys where the stolen IOTA are stored. Dominick Schiener was stating that IOTA team helped police to track and monitor the stolen IOTA on the tangle.

Is this token in any way related to the Surge token on the Waves platform? I am wondering because that token was created some days ago and was distributed to Waves hodlers.

Jihadists are at it again, trying to raise money through Bitcoin. And this time, their efforts may be getting some traction.
The real surprise is not that they use cryptocurrencies because there were sanctions going on this organization. The surprise is that they use Bitcoin rather than a privacy coin like Monero. This makes donors much easier to identify through the blockchain. This also shows some inexperience in dealing with cryptocurrencies from the Hamas and the donors.

blättert mal eine Seite zurück da steht alles dazu. Post #3827

Just my 2cents.
