Waldhof Mannheim has two positive COVID19 cases in their team: 1 player and 1 person from the staff. Furthermore 2 players who had contact with them were also told to go into a 2-week quarantine. Does anyone know which are the 3 players that won't be able to play tonight? If these are all from their starting eleven that could make it even harder for them.

Don't know the names but it seems they weren't regular players because the match was as expected. Very competitive and the final result was very close. Freiburg won 1-2. In the final match phase Mannheim even had the chance to equalize.

today there were no big surprises in the dfb-cup games on saturday - the evening game won werder bremen away at carl-zeiss jena with 2-0
tomorrow we continue with several duels david against goliath Wink

Overall, we have had only two big surprises in the first round yet. The elimination of Hertha Berlin and St. Pauli.
2162  Other / Archival / Re: [GAS Price Aggregator] How to find the optimal gas price on: September 13, 2020, 10:49:27 AM
I preferably use https://etherscan.io/gastracker which also shows you the optimal gas price, but also gives you further information like the time how long it does take to confirm a transaction by sending it with a specific gas amount. This is super helpful when you have the case where transactions have to be confirmed very fast.
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: when will cryptocurrency go mainstream? on: September 13, 2020, 10:44:04 AM

Thanks for sharing this data. I was really surprised about the low number of respondants owning cryptos in Japan. I would have expected that this country in particular would be far ahead in terms of acceptance. Not only because of Satoshi (who is probably not Japanese), but also because of the general affinity of the Japanese for technology. That crypto currencies are widely used in Latin America and Turkey is no surprise. It is just the countries that suffer massive from economic and currency turbulences. Besides, the countries are badly governed. Despite their volatility, cryptos seem to be the better way to preserve value than the local fiat currency.

I agree. I think that there will be no big surprises, although this is of course never impossible. I think if there can be a surprise, then it will be at Waldhof Mannheim vs Freiburg. It is a derby game. For fun I have placed a small bet on double chance Mannheim, at odds of 3.91. Let's see if it works.
Otherwise the first and second round of the DFB-Cup are always perfect to bet on the number of goals, for example Chemnitz vs Hoffenheim 4.5+ goals at 2.6 could be a good opportunity.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 13, 2020, 10:27:41 AM
Premier League season is starting on Saturday  Smiley

How do you guys position your bets for the first matchday? I set my bets as follows and I would like to here your opinion.

Fulham vs Arsenal # win of Arsenal @ 1.58
Liverpool vs Leeds # over 3.5 goals @ 2.33
Tottenham vs Everton # double chance Everton @2.11
Brighton vs Chelsea # win Chelsea @ 1.69

Judging based on reality of things, i think it is safer to play a double chance in the game between liverpool and leeds, as well as chelsea match against brighton. Both matches looks likely to end in a gg (goal.goal) and a high scoring draw. Only Arsenal stand a  proper chance to start the league with a victory. It will be an exciting first week in the barclays premier league.

I had a good nose for the first two games. Both bets were won. Arsenal won 0 - 3 against Fullham and Liverpool vs Leeds surpisingly ended 4 - 3. I am confident that the other two bets will also be successful today.

Thinking about to also go for WestBrom vs Leichester, where Leichester win @ 2.16. What do you think? Still undecided.
2166  Other / Off-topic / [English Native Speaker needed] Difference between Disclosure and Exposure? on: September 12, 2020, 11:34:23 AM
The title already includes my question.

Can someone explain to me (preferably an English native speaker) what exactly the difference between disclosure and exposure is?

For example:

The information has been disclosed.
The information has been exposed.

Thanks!

2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 12, 2020, 10:13:52 AM
It is not the league, but the first round of German cup started yesterday. In the first match (Hertha Berlin vs. Braunschweig) there was a surprise right away. Braunschweig threw Berlin out of the cup. Whoever would have bet on a Braunschweig victory would have had 7.23 odds. An embarrassing defeat for a team that has about 120 million Euro more available this season through investors and whose goal is to qualify for the Champions League.
2170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 12, 2020, 10:08:49 AM
Arsenal will be missing quite a number of key players in their team when they play against Fulham today, and Mikel Arteta the manager of Arsenal did not import many new players to boost up the quality of Arsenal in the transfer market, and I think Arsenal might struggle to achieve a victory when they play against Fulham today, I guess a draw result at the end of the match will be acceptable for Fulham with their first match in the English Premier League.

Mikel Arteta still has Ozil Grin But it looks like Arteta doesn't want him anymore and he is still going to stew on the bank this season as the best earner. If they had gotten rid of him they could have gotten one or two really good players to help the team. I don't expect Arsenal to perform much better than last season, so they won't be competing for the cup.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin for coronavirus on: September 11, 2020, 10:08:22 AM
Recently, I found an interesting article about coronovirus coin, https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/coronacoin-price-is-human-lives, what do you think? Is it a joke or a really hype thing?

There has been a coin or token for each development or event in the world over the last years. I just remember how many tokens for the US election 2016 suddenly appeared. None of them still exist and I suspect that new ones will appear soon for election 2020. Such projects are an absolute waste of time and also the past crypto-projects have all disappeared. I would not pay attention to such articles.
2172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of Threads to Earn Legit Merit on: September 11, 2020, 09:56:45 AM
What's wrong with my thread? I am just listing all the topics which are created by some members of the community on how to earn merit.
I am not giving or taking merit, I am just listing the topics in one post to make it easier for newbies.
For not to receive complaints from people, try to lock the topic. Which means, they can still consider it good and valid if locked.
I would wait for someone to explain me the reason to lock this topic or why I will receive complaints for this.
Thanks for your concern. I just wanted to help.

Your post is legit and helpful for those who create good content for the forum and who wants to have some merits. Very often, good posts simply goes under and does not receive not the right recognition. I myself sometimes have difficulties to distribute all my merits. In my opinion there should even be a subcategory in the forum where all merit donors can open a thread. I do not see any reason why this should be locked.

Rashford made some pressure for kids to get free school meals or something so if he wins it then it’ll be a vote for him being a great person rather than what he did on the pitch.

Every well-known and well-earning athlete now does this, many also to just improve their image. Even Christiano Ronaldo donated millions to children and charity organizations [1]. That is definitely no reason to have a better chance of winning such an award. It should only be about the athletic performance and from the looks of it Lewis Hamiliton won rightfully.

2174  Economy / Economics / Re: Socialist life on: September 11, 2020, 09:45:59 AM
The basic idea of socialism is not so bad. The rich help the poor. The only problem is that socialism has never worked, secondly, it disregards some profound misunderstandings of human nature and thirdly, it has always led to a loss of human progress. If socialism had been introduced thousands of years ago, we would be riding horses today at best, but certainly not flying to the moon. In my opinion, the best economic form is the social market economy, i.e. in principle capitalism with strong social characteristics.

Perhaps the cause of the failure of both capitalism and socialism is the separation of economy, politics and religious teachings, even the roots of socialism, namely communism, consider religion to be addictive. In fact, religious teachings adhere to values that not only regulate the relationship between humans and the creator but the relationship between humans and the relationship between humans and nature.

Both socialism and capitalism see the matter as an end, not as a tool. Don't judge the books from its cover, we take an example of the basics of Islamic economics, we can put aside Islam, but what is taught in Islamic economics we can learn and if possible apply if it can bring solutions to the improvement of the global economy.

I would not say that capitalism has failed. It functions as much as capitalism has to function. Many people only see that it does not work properly because they do not benefit from it. When you see what progress is happening in human civilization (research and development), capitalism is definitely the better alternative to socialism/communism (or name me an existing or past socialist country that has brought progress for humanity in the long run).
I do not understand your reference to religion. Both are first and foremost economic forms, in a graded form also ideologies, but certainly not religions.

2176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG !!! Peter Schiff was right, again............. on: September 09, 2020, 10:21:25 AM
I hope no one has money they can not afford to lose invested right now....

Honestly, Peter Schiff is a joke in terms of his Bitcoin/crypto predictions. For many years he has warned whenever possible that Bitcoin will drop to $0. He was already bearish with Bitcoin when Bitcoin was not even worth $1000. His predictions may have worked for other asset classes and he seems to understand them, but he has not understood what Bitcoin really is, how Bitcoin works and what ecosystem has already been created around Bitcoin and crypto. To make such statements especially in times of massive money printing is simply ridiculous and also shows his ignorance. At least his son seems to have more idea about Bitcoin Smiley
2177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware Defi airdrop message shared on telegram on: September 09, 2020, 10:15:59 AM
From my experience you should avoid airdrops anyway. Airdrops either don't make much profit anymore or they are used to collect personal data (social media profiles, email addresses, photos of id cards etc), which are then sold to spammers and other criminals individuals on Darkweb. The times when airdrops were worthwhile are long gone.
2178  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID-19 Impact on the Indian Economy on: September 09, 2020, 10:13:09 AM
Under Covid-19 impact India businesses and economies function. The next 12 months will be difficult. Many businesses will struggle some may even die.

India really has a problem. The risks I see here for democracy and peace are the following: India has to face the comparison with China. At least officially China has the pandemic under control, which is also shown by the economic figures (I don't mean the official growth figures, which are faked anyway, but e.g. the demand for goods, which is also confirmed by international corporations). In comparison, India gives a miserable picture. This could lead to people saying that democracies - and India is after all the largest democracy in the world - can handle such events worse than authoritarian states. This could be a vivid argument for all despots and terrible regimes in the world. Moreover, India and China have been in a dangerous situation for a long time where war could break out over the Himalayas at any time. The pandemic could strengthen nationalism on both sides.
