2141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a own coin? on: September 21, 2020, 02:05:52 PM
Do you want to know an honest opinion? If you have to ask this question, then please DO NOT CREATE a coin. It's just going to be another one of the thousands of other shitcoins that are just copycats and have no new features. The crypto world does not need such coins. And if you need a coin for a certain use case, then create a colored coin / token on ecosystems like Ethereum, Waves, Neo or others. That makes much more sense.

Most likely this will gonna happen if he planned to sell his coins without some plans and road maps to consider how he can do something with his created coins. But if he just wants to make a coin for some personal studies, he can always do what he wants. To the OP, even if you have some people with you who help you to create this coin, if you don't have a back up from some big companies or some famous people in this industry, your coins will also added to those shit coins like this man said. so you better create a token instead because that will give you less expense even if your project fails, the damage is not that much.

I mean, if he asks how to create a coin, he certainly doesn't have the skills to develop it technically. Neither will he find someone to develop the coin without having a lot of money to pay a good developer. Even if he has a cool roadmap the value of the coin is and will be zero. And coins with SHA256 algorithm are a dime a dozen.
2142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin-only poker sites? on: September 21, 2020, 11:08:51 AM
Well, in the meanwhile there has been come up some bitcoin-only poker sites, but really popular is no one of those as far as I know.
I am a passionate poker player (online and offline) and I have been playing for years on sites like pokerstars etc. When I looked up for a crypto-only poker rooms and tried some, I was almost always disappointed. The only site I found halfway good was blockchain.poker.

2144  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Byteball] Tue Gutes und erhalte kostenlose Bytes on: September 21, 2020, 10:57:37 AM

2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 21, 2020, 10:46:18 AM
There are rumors that Schalke 04 is already looking for a new potential coach to replace David Wagner. The club bosses are no longer convinced that he can develop the team and are therefore looking for potential successors after the embarrassing 8:0 defeat against Bayern. However, there does not yet seem to be a name.
2146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 20, 2020, 04:53:11 PM
That's it for Chelsea and for my bet Cheesy After the red card for Christensen the team lost the thread. After the 0:1 of Sane, it became clear that the balance of power has shifted strongly towards Liverpool. Now the 0:2 is the decision in my opinion.
It's a pity, until the 50th minute my bet (double chance Chelsea) seemed to work out. At least Tottenham won today.
2147  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Byteball] Tue Gutes und erhalte kostenlose Bytes on: September 20, 2020, 04:48:47 PM

Grin

https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/viewNewsArticle.do?articleId=640

2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why has no-one done a crypto Ebay? on: September 19, 2020, 10:23:06 PM
First of all, a "crypto Ebay" would not be feeless. Handling with Bitcoin costs always fees.
Secondly, crypto Ebay's already exist in the Dark Web. There you can find many marketplaces and Ebay clones where you can buy all things and stuff (legal and illegal) with Bitcoin and cryptos like Monero.
2149  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin dont pay our billls we need passive income on: September 19, 2020, 10:07:43 PM
btc is not good to pay our bills.,

we need new way of passive income goverments should start giving out universal income Smiley there is need for passive income

Passive income for all is an illusion. Sometimes Youtube videos are suggested to me in which it is suggested that passive income is possible for everyone and everyone can live a carefree life. This is absolute nonsense and only works for a few. As soon as everyone does it, it doesn't work anymore. Bitcoin is a means of payment and investment and cannot earn any passive income. It makes no sense for me to associate this.
2150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 19, 2020, 10:02:26 PM
I hate these seasons when the market is still open during the League.

It's nice to see Everton and Arsenal in the top even you know is only the second game with 1 game of advantage Grin

I agree with you. The market should be closed before the season starts. Changing players after the season has already started always causes unrest in the clubs concerned. Of course, there should be exceptions like in the current Corona phase where seasons start very differently in leagues.
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP explained on: September 17, 2020, 08:50:20 AM
I am having a hard time understanding how UNISWAP works. I went to their site and it gives you the option to trade all ERC tokens. So you want to buy certain coin with Ethereum, does that mean that coin is there in some pool, or how does it work?

I could now start explaining you the functioning of Uniswap, but why should I when there is a really good explanation available already (and from where I've learned to understand it Smiley ). Therefore I recommend to read [1] that gives you an very good understanding. If you then still have specific questions don't hesitate to ask. It is easier to answer those specific questions.

2152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Obyte] Get Free Bytes Daily For Computing For Good [NEW: COVID-19 Crunching] on: September 17, 2020, 08:09:21 AM
The mining volume is too little, not enough to compensate for the electricity bill and the wear of the computer

It is not intended to make a profitable business out of it. It is intended to give (a little) reward to people who actively support the project. If you want to make a profit with the campaign, then you are in the wrong place.
2153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 16, 2020, 09:11:40 AM
Ofcourse! Almost thesame rate in Crypto trading in order to be considered a successful trader... People would sometimes say it is impossible to be a successful trader, but when you do your learning and research (talent also helps), you discover it's not that difficult to be profitable. So I can relate with the experience.

* I'm not really that interested in sport-betting yet. I will probably try betting in other areas i won't abandon easily due to unprofitablity or lack of interest.

Yes, I need to add that the win rate alone does not tell much. That's why I stress balance/money management so much to be successfull.

To explain, I take the following example:

Bet A won # Stake 1mBTC # Odds 1.5 # Profit 0.5 mBTC
Bet B won # Stake 1mBTC # Odds 1.3 # Profit 0.3 mBTC
Bet C lost # Stake 1mBTC # Odds 2.1 # Profit -1.0 mBTC

There you have a win rate of 66%. Wow, amazing! But your overall profit is -0.2mBTC.

2154  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Der Film Cryptopia : Wer hat ihn schon gesehen ? on: September 16, 2020, 08:42:59 AM

Quelle: https://vimeo.com/ondemand/cryptopia

2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 16, 2020, 08:34:07 AM
I've been experimenting with betting on sports, and for now I don't see a difference between when I'm making an educated bet and just betting blindly looking only at the odds. It hasn't been long, however, so I'll keep experimenting.

I can only speak of myself. I know a lot about football/soccer because it is a sport that fascinates me, so I bet 99% of my money on football games and no other sports. I have been consistently profitable for a long time (winning 55-60% of my bets). If I happen to bet on other interesting sports (e.g. recent NFL games), I always have a win rate of less than 50%. So I cannot confirm that knowledge does not make a difference. But to be profitable you also need good money and balance management. So knowledge compared with good money management is the key to success.

Interesting.
I guess this means you a successful bettor.
Well, I think people could actually be successful bettors by betting on things they are interested in or passionate about. I believe the passion will help people to learn easily... they would keep learning, bet, be patient etc. Others are probably attracted mostly by huge bet prizes than the passion for the games

Well, you can see it this way, if one has a win rate of > 50% Cheesy I have been profitable in betting in the long run for a while now. In the short term, of course, there can also be a bad phase. From time to time I post my bets in previous, for example my Premier League bets for last weekend where I had four of four bets set correctly*. As I wrote, success in betting is not about luck, its about knowledge and money management.

*Please don't follow my bets. If you do it anyway and lose money, it is your fault.
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: September 16, 2020, 08:27:06 AM
Just to have understood it correctly: If I have my XEM on my address for a long time, then I don't have to do the Opt-In and I don't have to be active for the snapshot either, right? Will the public and private key on the symbol blockchain be identical to those on the NEM blockchain?

Premier League season is starting on Saturday  Smiley

How do you guys position your bets for the first matchday? I set my bets as follows and I would like to here your opinion.

Fulham vs Arsenal # win of Arsenal @ 1.58
Liverpool vs Leeds # over 3.5 goals @ 2.33
Tottenham vs Everton # double chance Everton @2.11
Brighton vs Chelsea # win Chelsea @ 1.69

Season has started perfectly Cheesy Four out of four bets were correct and I had a really good gain this weekend.

The second matchday again offers interesting opportunities. So far I have placed the following bets, but plan to place at least two more bets for the matchday until the weekend.

Chelsea vs Liverpool # double chance Chelsea @ 1.81
Southampton vs Tottenham # win of Tottenham @ 2.36
2159  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Der Film Cryptopia : Wer hat ihn schon gesehen ? on: September 14, 2020, 11:43:18 AM

2160  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: September 14, 2020, 11:36:02 AM
Its not a about Medical issue.

Its just smoke and mirrors.

Its a about Economic issue.
Becouse the strongest covid restrictions are in places where debt is highest.
But the government had to hide this otherwise If they would telling the truth the more panic would occured!!

The covid smoke and mirrors is not bad idea Smiley
The rulers who run world are smart like me Smiley
But they are much more smart If I would run the World I wouldnt not know to use this covid fake Thing

I Wonder how they Got that idea covid 19 to hide their Economic debt bubble and liqutity problem?

At least you should have posted data about your finding you are blinded by your idea on how smart you are, CoVid is a medical issue and it will be solved by our scientist and not by our politicians and economist, there are divisiveness among politicians and countries but our scientist cannot be divided by politicians because they are united by facts on how to solve this CoVid.

Totally agree with you. This pandemic causes will not be solved by politicians and economists, but by scientific progress. Everything else is just humbug. The task of politicians and economists is to minimize the consequences for the social cohesion of societies and the economy as much as possible.
That there are actors who pursue their own interests (e.g. banks or highly indebted states) is entirely conceivable and probably also the case.
