Bayern is rocking in Bundesliga and with 3-0 advantage, it relatively easy for them to pass to the next round but also to win tomorrow's match.
For Barcelona, I am a bit worried. They have the motivation to achieve something this season but their performance isn't good...at all... They have only the 1 goal advantage and maybe, maybe if Messi will be in very very good condition he can do something. That's all.

Not to mention Bayern won 3-0 away. Chelsea needs a miracle to get to the next round. Bayern is too stable, and too good to give Chelsea a chance, however the Londoneers can win the game. They've been in good form the last few weeks.
With Barcelona against Napoli I see the result open. Napoli played another very good season, while Barcelona disappointed. The first leg gives both teams the chance to get to the next round. I bet on draw or win of Napoli (odds 2.23 at the moment).

Thank you all for suggesting me some very cool ways to earn cryptocurrency. Yeah I also heard about the Brave browser and currently I am using it from the last week or so. But I am not sure why I did not receive any ads. And quite sadly my balance still remains at 0.00 BAT. Anyhow, let's see what I can earn from it.

It also depends on the country or region you come from. At the beginning of Brave the ads were random, almost everyone who participated got ads shown. In the meanwhile, after big advertisers came on board (like HomeDepot for example) the ads are more user targeting. It does not make sense for an advertiser to show someone ads where they do not have business. Same with crypto currency exchanges which also advertise a lot on Brave. It does not make sense for an exchange to show users ads when they are from regions that are excluded from participating on the exchange (for example due to US sanctions).

Man City vs Real Madrid --- 1.72 - 4.50 - 4.40
The cost/risk ratio for betting on a draw or a win of Real is pretty good.
Real Madrid has their good form but Man City in the last match in Premier League also shown how good they are.

I focused more on the odds. In my opinion there is no clear favorite in this match. From this point of view, the odds for a draw or a win of Real are very good. Real Madrid is a little underrated this season. They didn't play brilliantly but very efficiently, so they deserved to be Spanish champions, while ManCity played much worse than last season (17 points less in the league than last season). Also they're eliminated in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, having won the cup last year.
The odds shows Real Madrid is considered lower than Man City. One reason is Man City will play at Etihad, their home stadium. Second reason is Real Madrid will not have Ramos. With last thing to fight for in this season, who know Man City will bring us from surprise to surprise and win the title, I don't know.

Real Madrid has their history in CL and their winning ADN and playing style of a dominator can help them. This match, I don't think Real can dominate Man City in ball possesion but from reverse attacks, they will be wisely and fastly enough to do something. Important thing for Real is not get concede goal first.

Honestly, playing home does not bring a big advantage these times. Without audience it is more like a test match on the Algarve coast in summer break. I can partly follow your arguments, but still the big gap in odds is not justified in my opinion, which is a good betting opportunity. To be more on the safe side I would bet on X2 (double chance draw or win Real). Odds are around 2.2 at the moment.
2285  Economy / Economics / Re: Virgin Atlantic Goes Bankrupt, Bailouts? on: August 05, 2020, 08:08:04 AM
Should the government bailouts the airline industry? What will be the future for the airline industry post coronavirus pandemic?

They will. The government already bailed out Delta, United Airlines and others. It's an election year and any job that can be saved with tax money will be saved. What it looks like after the election is a different story. The 2008 bank bailouts led to Bitcoin (as you know, Satoshi pointed this out in his first block with the Times article). We can only hope that the whole bailout orgies around the globe will again mean a big push for crypto currencies.

Thanks a lot for your work! Really useful post, I also added it to my favorites (doesn't happen often Wink )

I don't know how much time I have invested in editing posts during my Bitcointalk career just because it was not clear what the color looks like. So I tried different colors far too often until I found the right one Cheesy
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 05, 2020, 07:23:12 AM
Who are your favorites to win the European Champions League?
Except for "natural and logical" favorites such as Bayern and Manchester City, I personally have the same ''inner feeling'' as the Marca journalists that the hidden favorite, from the shadows, is Atletico Madrid.
I have a feeling this could finally be their year and their opportunity.

As I posted earlier in this thread, I personally think that there could be surprise this year. There are so many critical factors this year that would not exist without this pandemia situation. It is the first time in years where I find it difficult to bet on a clear favourite. However, I would narrow it down to Bayern, Real and Juve but also I would not underestimated teams like Atalanta, Leipzig or Napoli.

Still struggling to get my client fully synchronized. Very slow, with partly high CPU usage (use an Ubuntu-based Linux distro). It also happens that if the client crashes, the blockchain file gets damaged, so that a resynchronization has to be done. Wouldn't it be a good idea to make the blockchain available for download at regular intervals?

2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: August 03, 2020, 10:08:04 AM
The amazing and great part about Trump asking for elections to be postponed was the reaction from the conservatives, I loved it and that is why I think USA is not a dictatorship and could never be one.

Why do you think the USA would be a dictatorship? I think you read too much propaganda. Of course the USA is a democracy with a president who certainly has more power than in other democracies, but there are mechanisms to limit the abuse of this power. This is shown by the fact that the Supreme Court has stopped some projects and laws. In addition, the Congress and the Senate are controlled by different parties, so that the president can not have any dictatorial power. Just like the plan to postpone the election. This is of course huge news for the gossip press but he can't do that without the approval of the democratic controlled senate.

Also insgesamt ein spannendes Projekt.
Bist du in OCEAN?

2293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 02, 2020, 11:19:49 AM
When Ethereum switches to PoS, will the coin supply be capped (no new Ether will be generated anymore) or will new Ether continue to be generated with each new block as usual? If the former is true, then the price should explode if PoS works as planned, so there are no security problems or similar issues. Or am I missing something?

The Cap issue? Can we all vote about the supply? It will add more trust to the ethereum foundation. However, a price boost will occur because hodler are racing to stake ETH. The first seat was taken, adding some eth in their crypto chamber and watching the final testnet closely. At least,  V2 will eliminate scalability issues.

Your answer puzzles me. So, will there be a limit to the maximum amount of coins (cap of supply) or not?

Ethereum is the father of smart contracts platform it make the its way with unique approach and open the door of opportunities for so many projects to dive in into this space and built their empire on the top of the its blockchain. I believe it will keep continue and take advantage to be the pioneer into this ecosystem.

This might be right, but working an Ethereum also costs a lot of fees. This is often the reason why companies that have previously experimented with Ethereum switch to other platforms. The issues of fees and scalability will determine the success or failure of Ethereum.
2294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: August 02, 2020, 11:04:34 AM
In various reviews, betting sites and casinos take positions in the ranking depending on the bonuses they offer to their visitors.

Well, this is nothing new. The most review sites are arbitrary and do not really rate and rank according to the quality of the casinos. Such site owners want to make money. And the best affiliate money is mostly offered by shady gambling sites which often offer the best "bonuses". They have different ways to compensate those exaggerated offers, for example by not paying out large profits with flimsy reasons. I speak from personal experience.
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 02, 2020, 10:51:15 AM
According to bookmakers, MU is main favorites currently, they been really solid after lockdown.
Inter is second, but it won't be easy to get through Getafe. Though Getafe played terrible after lockdown.
I think that Bayer and Sevilla have good chances.
Wolves and Shakhtar are underdogs and probably they aren't going to win trophy, but I think they can make some noise.

I wouldn't see it so clearly this year. The cards can change in a very short time due to the pandemic. Just imagine what would happen if ManU would have a positive Covid case and some players (or the whole time) need to go in quarantin , then the favourite role would basically be gone. Same with the other clubs. I think we could see a total outsider win the EL this year, like FC Basel or Getafe. Everything is possible in these crazy times.
2296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: August 02, 2020, 09:45:33 AM
Nice response. Thanks :-) . Here is another NEM Price Analysis by  Daniel Garza from July 29,>>> https://www.capitalbay.news/nem-xem-holds-a-month-long-bullish-sentiment/

Frankly, such analyses are rubbish. For years I have been reading such analyses for different projects and never one of them has been right. Basically it's just drawing conclusions and analyzing charting techniques (which in my opinion only work for Bitcoin and Ethereum in the crypto area) to create arbitrary content.
2297  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / [Diskussion] [OCEAN] Ocean Protocol - Blockchain der Datenökonomie on: August 02, 2020, 09:28:26 AM

Darunter sind u.a.

Daimler AG

Ocean Protocol delivers Proof-of-Concept for Daimler AG in collaboration with Daimler South East Asia
Mercedes-Benz (Daimler) Partner With Ocean Protocol To Allow The Ability To Build A Secure Enterprise B2B Data Marketplace To Monetize & Put Data To Work
Ocean Protocol delivers blockchain-based decentralized data orchestration for Daimler AG

DHL
Gestrieger Tweet von DHL
https://twitter.com/DHLGlobal/status/1289214498650300417

Also insgesamt ein spannendes Projekt.

Any comments for the website are welcome.

Is this a sales thread or a service discussion thread?

To be honest, the web design is so 1990s. It is so easy and totally free to implement a much better design with a responsive css framework. Why should someone use it when there is a ton of well established better services like myetherwallet? I think this is not about the service but about the sale of the domain. The price is much too high and the domain value is only a fraction of the required value.
2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: August 01, 2020, 10:51:10 AM
There are some interesting and really good odds for the upcoming CL and EL matches in my opinion.

Man City vs Real Madrid --- 1.72 - 4.50 - 4.40
The cost/risk ratio for betting on a draw or a win of Real is pretty good.

Inter Milano vs Gestafe --- 1.82 - 3.70 - 4.80
Inter is clear favorite. The odds for a win of Inter are (still) good too.
