The only reason Nxt is declining in market cap is because you can only trade it with BTC, which is in a free fall.  All the more reason we need a better and more reliable exchange, so we're not tied to BTC in value.

+1 for a faster exchange!!

I am developing it still..... I just need a good couple of days.....
We need an NXT/USD pair asap! Could you provide this?
At least an NXT/LTC one...

LTC depends on BTC, NXT/USD is the only way to get rid of Bitcoin price influence.
I know, but we need more volume! And I bet we would have a good flow from LTC holders too into Nxt!

It's a great thing to get involved with BTC... People may panic now; but there's a strong message beside the support at lows. Have a nice morning/afternoon/evening fellas. Goodnight from Greece. Wink

There has recently been some question regarding when and under what conditions JR will start working on MSC full-time. As everyone may or may not remember, JR said that when the value of MSC is .7BTC/MSC, he will sell 1% of his MSC holdings, which, at the current vauation of BTC is over $1 million (in contrast to his earlier remark that it would take ~$600 ,000 for him to work on a BTC-related project full-time). In apparent contrast to this statement, some fellow board members (e.g. vokain and ripper) have assured us that JR is doing "all he can" to start working on MSC full-time. Now, on the contrary, JR himself has written that he is indeed waiting for MSC to go to .7BTC/MSC. JR goes on to say that there is "no uncertainty" here - a statement, with which I have to disagree, since I would hardly call waiting to secure +$1,000,000 "doing all one can"! vokain and ripper, how do you account for your own vagueness and essentially false assurances?

It also turns out that we have hired full-time devs (refer to link above), in spite of the fact that there was neither a vote nor a discussion among the community regarding these developers! This is so obviously a breach of Mastercoin's purported transparency that it's unclear how our board will justify itself. Indeed, it's unclear who had the authority to hire these developers since at least 6 of 7 board members must agree before $5-20 thousand are spent  - and one would think that at least *one* of the board members would have thought to get the community's input before voting to spend such a large sum.

Going forward such autocratic and careless behavior by the board is unacceptable, and I am surprised that the community has not taken greater issue with this.
I really think by now you have a hidden agenda to ruin Mastercoin like a worm eating flesh from the inside - I will not pay attention to your efforts anymore.

Trojan Horse in Ignore mode.

3149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: December 05, 2013, 10:13:31 PM
All coins should be listed, regardless if you personally like them or not.  Picking and choosing destroys the credibility of the site.  Ripple and others with a seperate link?  Seriously?   Roll Eyes  You need to take a non-biased stance and list them all, otherwise, it may just be time for a new site done right.  We get enough of this "pick and choose" crap from MSM.  The crypto space, built on a belief in freedom, should be better than that.

It also makes this thread title fraudulent as when I go to coinmarketcap.com, I don't see them all.   Huh

Couldn't agree more. Why stipulate all crypto when only 42 are listed, Coinwarz have 58 listed in total.

This is actually the reason why I joined this forum in the first place a few days ago. I wanted to trade a coin a week prior (JouleCoin). Tried to do find graphs (couldn't). Joined this forum and asked to have it added so others would not have the same issue when doing their homework. Long story short, why not make the site a true representation of the crypto market and add them all without bias.

Because of people blinded by greed. They are invested in their x shitcoin and declare 'holy' war on anything else like religion fanatics.
As a trader I only want to see data and cold numbers of ANYTHING available.

Anything else is mere horseshit.

Chang hum, how many nxt did you lose?
Don't fall on his scam - it is all a clever plan for this bastard to get some free coins.
How can we be sure that he is actually been a victim and not trying to scam us?
Just hit the Ignore button imo.

Yeah I did I realised right away but because the client was still beta with problems, I couldn't change it!

EDIT: V.important people if you do want to try this use a sentence not just a word. That's all that's needed for the access to your whole account.
Weak pwds are not clever thing to do in any case, software issues are irrelevant.

No they're not, as If i could have changed it i.e. set up new wallet to send coins to I would have. Software issues were the fault and it's why projects that value themselves at launch for 13m usd shouldn't skip beta testing or people get burned.
Being an idiot once and not using strong pwd is one thing forgivable. But being an idiot twice instead of recognising your stupidity and below average IQ while blaming the software is not.

Added to Ignore list for being mentally retarded!

Just a thought.

Should we launch the decentralized exchange now or wait when we get more coins distributed? I don't want Nxt to become an instrument for elite businessmen only, coz only rich ones could afford buying 1000 NXT to issue an asset, or 100 NXT to place/cancel 100 trade orders...
What exchange exactly? Currency exchange or marketplace?

Asset exchange. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AnkP_cVZTCMLIzw4DvsW6M8Q2JC0lIzrTLuoWu2z1BE/edit?pli=1 , read "Nxt" instead of "Bitcoin".
Oh ok do it ASAP then!

Side question - is the developer cooperating with killerstorm at all? Because it will be a huge impact if BCNext and his team achieve this before colored coins and/or mastercoin do!

It would be better if 1Billion coins did not minted completely. Maybe around 100,000 of them minted in genesis block (for giving away and spread the coins) and the others mine with POS. In this regard because total number is small, people with small coins can mine too and involve themself in this project.

BTW: I working on some plan to involve more people into NXT. Thinking and designing, maybe need some help from devs.
Valid argument but now what done is done!
No one forces people invest here, they can wait until source is open, clone it and do what you propose....
