4141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Official AnonCoin thread - Client Update!! (Native I2P, TOR nodes) on: September 03, 2013, 08:39:29 PM
Any news in the world of ANC? Amongst the altcoins ANC seems to be holding up fairly well in a rather bearish market.

New client (and codebase) soon ready for deployment. Also testing some possible services we have developed/set up. (maybe VPN with access to TOR/I2P sites transparent, and anonymous poker. The vpn is in testing now, how good it scales etc.) I won't say more for sure before I can promise it. However, this is the first "announcement" of it. Just been talked on IRC about it earlier  Smiley

One of the developers of zerocoin replied to one of our tweets, so I'm gonna write a mail to him and see what we can do with zerocoin.

On the other hand it's a little talk about maybe implement CoinJoin as well, intregrated in a way that it is in no need of a external server, but can lookup "rooms" within the client, distributed by the client itself.. Also, this is just me telling what's been mentioned on IRC, no public statement.

Zerocoin would require for example a DHT system anyway, because the 'coin spend' zero knowledge proofs are somewhat too large for the blockchain itself.

I'll update this thread when I know more  Smiley
Awesome, I will buy some moarrrre!!!

In order to use this source code, you will need to install python 2.7 and also pycrypto for python 2.7, which I got here: http://www.voidspace.org.uk/python/modules.shtml#pycrypto
This is for Windows only! Any Mac version?

Dacoinminster can you verify for me the following two transactions I did in the Exodus address? I used 0.0001btc fee.

In http://mastercoin.bysh.me:3000/ I get an error!

4146  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNCMiner Refund Policy? on: September 03, 2013, 08:01:51 PM
I payed for hosting in btc without having ordered a miner first. When I realized it I asked for a refund and they will pay back with USD (Bitpay).
I will inform when I see the money in my account. They are very professional and legit, I don't think there will be issues if asked for refund!

Have you seen any money yet?
Yes I posted in the other thread, they refunded me 100%!

Holding - will sell half if it gets x5!
4148  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] Dealcoin Official Thread on: September 03, 2013, 05:11:24 PM
Any idea on when the trading will begin?

The order book will open soon.  The IPO sold out exceptionally fast so we are turning it on sooner than expected.
Does "soon" mean within a few minutes, in a few hours, or by the end of the day (depending on time zone)?

I mean, the IPO had a specific time for opening, is there a specific time for the order book to open?

Soon™
1h and counting Tongue

Wow 516 units and done

Congrats on a successful fully sold out IPO

Looks like it sold out in under 7 minutes.  I'm impressed by the demand.

As am I but it was a fairly valued asset in my opinion for the potential demand of the market
That said I'm happy I got my holdings in those 7 minutes Smiley
Me too! I was preparing 1 week for this, learned my lesson with Labcoin - this 40% thing really hurt me I would have made much more money right now..

I'm a little out of the loop on the Labcoin thing.  What is the whole 40% thing?
They wanted 7K btc but before the IPO was initiated there were already 20K btc in the order book!
As it was FIFO people started raising their bids so BTCT and Labcoin decided to offer everyone the chance to buy by lowering the share on everyone.
Long story short we ended up purchasing 40% of what we had bid.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=263445.msg2842172#msg2842172

Plus the wallet @ btct was not functioning for at least 3h so people (me too) who had send additional funds to compensate for this loss could not actually use them (though they were visible somehow).

24h online for this...

4156  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 03, 2013, 07:36:42 AM
so just to confirm..

Quote
If labcoin brings online 50TH, with 10m shares that's 0.005 GH/share. With a share price doubled as you state, that means ~0.007/share, which translates to ~1.4BTC/GH

anyone know the price/GH of ASICMINER USB nowadays? isn't it 0.18BTC/GH (nearly 10 times cheaper than labcoin) shipping right this moment?

how long it takes to make a profit on ASICMINER USB these days  Grin Grin Roll Eyes

You're so fucking pathetic. Disgusting

what's wrong, you see any problem in this calculations?
any wrong statements made?

looks to me labcoin many times worse than purchasing ASICMINER USB sticks
which is already worse than just keeping money in poket and holding

Could you move to the Asicminer posts and ignore this plz?
He is ignored but quoting him made me see this!

Well Sissy, soon enough they will be perfect for ass dildos, nice 2 in 1 buy Wink
4157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 03, 2013, 07:23:08 AM
Just pray KnC won't suffer loses in customs the way Avalon did Tongue

You have to include your VAT number at placing an order.
European products are also probably cheaper in taxes than non-european products.

So as an european, i don't worry much about the taxes or customs.
I do wonder for our American friends how this will come out to p(l)ay xD
I was referring to the 'lost' Avalon chips fiasco!
