LTC ASIC
ASICMINER determined LTC ASIC is not viable since a high-speed memory bus is much more useful in other industries and very expensive to make in this regard.
3962  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: September 24, 2013, 12:22:28 PM
So how will this VC engage business with NeoBee?
Did they buy private shares? will they buy from IPVO remnants? Maybe they will issue additional private shares? Or fund through other means?

Not sure I understand!
3963  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: September 24, 2013, 07:49:03 AM
Any updates?  At the moment it really doesn't look like the IPVO is going to sell out, on bitfunder no shares were bought at the IPVO price in the last 24h...
The buyers wait for the transfered shares from BTCT - probably some will sell below IPVO price.

Do people here seriously dare to compare BF with KnC? Hubris!

Can we split the shares in both Havelock & Bitfunder?

No. You may choose one exchange, and then pay for transfer services if you wish to spread yourself around.

This is going to be a lot of work and we intend to perform it in an exemplary fashion, please help us facilitate that goal by sticking to the rules.

Thank you!
Thank you sir!

3969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MΣC] Megacoin.co.nz - New formula is live on: September 23, 2013, 04:03:36 PM
By the way, I am not familiar with mining but a quick question: Is merged mining in scrypt coins possible?
I am interested in setting up aan ANC+MEC pool in Europe if so..
So anyone?

I think it is quite difficult.

I *think* the block chain of the coin being merged into the other one needs to be configured to do so.

"The blockchain has to be modified to accept other blockchain's PoW's. The way merged mining works with bitcoin and namecoin is that the namecoin block chain agrees to accept a special transaction hash in the bitcoin block as proof of work for a namecoin block." https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=188806.msg1956788#msg1956788
I think I have only seen merged SHA256 coins but not 100% sure...

I don't get it people bashing the coin just sell what you have and move on
Cheerleading without reason is the real danger here not me..

EDIT: I was tweeting about MEC and posting in my FB group long before the most ladies came here. If I buy or sell is none of your business nor you will tell me what to do. I don't get orders from 'aliens' or 'chimps' lol
Hit ignore..

You're such an idiot.
Talking to your mirror buddy?
3972  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 23, 2013, 02:58:57 PM
So de we know what happened yet?
Why is BTCT shutting down?
SEC?
The SEC doesn't let you "wind down" for several weeks.  They just pull the plug.

Likely, he got legal advice that said "you are committing a crime, stop doing it"
From the 'Why BTC-TC Rocks' tab:

BTC Trading Corp. is a legally registered Belize international company.

So, I suppose we have to wait and see if shit will hit the fan (MPEx, Havelock, Picostocks, Bitfunder)  Undecided

So did the working prototype ever surface?
K16 yes but scaling to K64 had issues I think.
3975  Economy / Securities / Re: [IPVO] [Multiple Exchanges] Neo & Bee - LMB Holdings on: September 23, 2013, 12:30:24 PM
tranfering shares will be a big mess, and there will be people who will not claim shares for some reason (there are still a lot of AM shares unclaimed from last time something like this happened). Much cleaner would be to forced buy back and let us buy in bitfunder/havelock ourself
This!
3976  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 23, 2013, 12:23:18 PM
I'm impresssed. Only the second of my funds to give an update, beating both friedcat (though I doubt he needs to say anything..) and creativex.

Friedcat isn't associated with any security exchange. Asicminer is in form of direct shares, on exchanges are only pass-throughs
How does this work in practice? Where do you/buy/store the shares??
3977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 23, 2013, 12:21:21 PM
uhhh, instead of promised videos of hashing jupiter and shipping schedule, we know how KNC builds datacenter somewhere in Sweden. splendid.)
2 more days to go for you!

Dividends will be paid regularly until the btct platform is available.

What does that mean?
And what 'direct shares' is supposed to be?

Is this countdown to open source "status" ?

I think the conference thing, with the zipzap dude...
