PSG have a good opportunity ahead to open the point gap with Lens and Marseille both today. Because those two teams both lost two points this week.
PSG's matchup is really easy for them as they are going to host Reims. Their previous meet was quite interesting after PSG got a red card. Reims had so many goal attempts but it ended up with a 0-0 draw. This time I don't think PSG will lose points. This must be a comfortable game in Parc des Princes. The attacking trio would carry the team as usual.

Newcastle are still maintaining an impressive form by not losing a single game for many weeks. However they started to get draws quite often recently.
I think their next game will end up with a victory for Newcastle. West Ham have been horrible for weeks and they barely got their first win last week after a long time. I don't think they can resist Newcastle away this week. Newcastle have proven themselves about how eager they are to make it to the Champions League. I don't expect to see them losing points in this one.

Bayern Munich could have been better than this. They were really impressive in the first half and the result of it was really positive. However they had bigger problems in the second half. Frankfurt started to find more goal opportunities in this half and finally benefited from it by scoring the equalizer. This resulted in another point loss for Bayern Munich.
The title race is more alive than ever now. Union Berlin, Leipzig and Freiburg are right behind them in the standings. I would love to see this scenario until the end of the season. The Bundesliga can be more attracting in this way.

What the hell is happening in the Milan - Sassuolo game exactly?  It is going on with Sassuolo's 5-2 lead in San Siro. I really don't understand what is going on with Milan players these days. They have been terrible at defending for many weeks. I hoped to see them finishing up this form with a victory against Sassuolo. However they are even getting a worse loss than the previous ones. Does Pioli really have nothing to do about this to fix it? |

Lens got a really unfortunate draw against Troyes. Because they controlled the game completely but still this wasn't enough to win the game. Even their equalizer came quite late in the game and they could have even lost the game. Lens made really simple point losses like this and they are just giving away their title run so easy.
They must still be thankful for Marseille not winning against Monaco. They could have won actually despite Monaco's getting ahead first. The second half was under the domination of Marseille. But it was only enough for an equalizer in the first minutes of the half. The 2-point gap is maintained between Lens and Marseille as a result.

It was such an easy victory for Sevilla today. They didn't have any struggle against Elche in their home game. It was a 3-0 win and Elche's getting that red card made things even easier for Sevilla to win.
However even if that red card wasn't shown Sevilla would still have won this game by a dominant game. Because there was a significant difference between these teams before anything else. And there has been some improvement in Sevilla's form recently after getting two wins in the league. These wins will hopefully increase their confidence and they will maintain a decent streak from now on.

I haven't heard anything about that. Messi is still taking his time to make a decision on his future with PSG. This must be worrying for the team because he is a critical part of the team now. His contribution level is so high that the team performance would surely be affected badly in his absence. I know that they played without Messi for years but now they are much stronger than ever. The trio should be maintained until winning the Champions League title at least. |

The Wolves game is going to be a chance for Liverpool to improve their performance. Because they have still been in a worrying condition. The injury problem they have is a serious factor about this of course. Especially Firmino and Diaz have been out for some time. This has dropped Liverpool's offensive performance a lot as a result.
Wolves are a really poor team in the league now. They are really weak in defense as well so Liverpool should be able to get a nice win here at least. I would like to see Nunez scoring too because he really needs some motivation for himself now.
Wolves doesn't seem to be a strong opponent for Liverpool. Wolves may become a training match to increase liverpool's performance. So far, the new players that come to the liverpool didn't give a lot of contribution. I hope that gakpo will perform even better. It seems like that gakpo will always become the main chosen by klopp. This can be a small test to liverpool. I think that so many eyes will be even watching it. People were hyping gakpo and they will be very disappointed if gakpo didn't give contribution to the club. I also believe that we will see Gakpo as one of the main players of the starting eleven. They have signed him with the aim of strengthening their attacking line in the end. Diaz has made a big impact but Liverpool were still unable to fill Mane's place. After the Gakpo transfer they can fix their problems in productivity in time hopefully. He didn't seem very well in his first game maybe but I expect him not to have big problems on adaptation. I'm very positive about the Freiburg - Augsburg matchup today. It must be a comfortable game for Freiburg side as there is a big gap between these teams. I'm aware of Freiburg's recent form in the league of course. They have been pretty bad lately as they have lost quite many points. Especially the Wolfsburg loss was by an embarrassing score. However I believe in Freiburg anyway to finish this form here by a decent win.
Bayern Munich - Frankfurt is a tough matchup as well. Bookmakers are underestimating Frankfurt too much. I would like to remind you of their latest game here which ended by Frankfurt's 2-1 win. After seeing how Bayern Munich performed against Koln I can't be sure of them. I'd rather bet on both teams to score.

Juventus have a good opportunity ahead to beat Monza and improve their form. Maybe they are dealing with other serious issues on one hand but they shouldn't let this situation prevent them from playing decently. Maybe there will be even no need for a relegation to the Serie B. I know that Juventus' job is too difficult to make it back to top 4. But they can at least fight for the 7th position to join the Europa Conference League at worst.
Monza aren't a team that are even close to Juventus' level. As many injured players have recovered at Juventus too I assume Juventus will get a decent win in Turin.

Lewandowski's absence will definitely have an affect on Barcelona's scoring performance. But I don't think their domination will be affected by that badly. Because Barcelona's usual game plan works well against this kind of smaller teams. It worked in the Getafe game as well you know and they won the game. Maybe it ended by only 1-0 but it was due to Lewandowski's absence.
A similar result can be obtained at the end of the Girona game as well. I trust Barcelona on winning this game. Their odd is also tempting to add to a parlay.

It was nice to watch Manchester City and Arsenal facing each other for the first time in this season.
I can't say that Manchester City were too dominant. There was a good balance mostly but it was more in favour of Manchester City in the second half especially. Thanks to Ake's goal they won by 1-0 and eliminated Arsenal in the FA Cup. I was giving Arsenal also to advance to next round. But Manchester City did a good job about keeping them away from a goal. We watched Trossard also in this game by the way. Arteta wanted to see him playing right away.

Tottenham seem determined to finish the signing of Pedro Porro from Sporting in the coming days. He has a release clause worth 45 million euros and Sporting want them to pay the sum to be able to sign him.
He is a young and skilled right-back but he has been playing as a right midfielder for Sporting. It hasn't been even a year since he joined the team from Manchester City by the way. He has been a productive player as well by 3 goals and 11 assists in 25 games in total. There are quite many players for the right-back position at Tottenham now. So I wonder if Tottenham are planning to part ways with anyone there depending on the result of this transfer attempt.

Real Madrid are most likely to win against Atletico Madrid today. It is a really low possibility for Atletico Madrid to eliminate them.

Right now two quarterfinals are in progress with first between Valencia vs Athletic Bilbao into 75th minute and Athletic Bilbao is leading by 1 - 2 and all three goals done by them in first half which is good as they are controlling this match having good chance for win and going into semifinal of the Copa del Ray 2023 because Valencia is surely having not good time in La Liga and now in this match as well. In the second quarterfinal of the day which is playing at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu Madrid Morata gives early lead to Atlético Madrid even both teams are performing good, but first shot on the goal give them good lead and now having good play from them as well with just 35 minutes gone and still we have another one hour game to be played for the result of this match how things will go surely its interesting for the both teams fans. Atletico Madrid actually did a really great work by getting ahead first and keeping the 1-0 advantage for a long time in the game. But they couldn't prevent an equalizer by Rodrygo in the 79th minute. He was like a savior for his team as he scored only 10 minutes after entering the game. Real Madrid were quite dominant in the second half unlike the first half. Atletico Madrid wanted to keep this score to the end but they couldn't manage. You know how Inter lost to Empoli last week. Skriniar's red card changed the way the game was going and they lost by 1-0. That week was a golden opportunity for Inter to capture the second position in the standings actually. Because if they won they were going to take the position from Milan. But still I can say that they are in a better form than Milan and Lazio both recently.
Inter's next game is an away one against Cremonese. They are going to play against literally the worst team in the league now. I don't think Inter will make any mistake this time.

Xabi Alonso is doing a great work with Leverkusen despite not being a very experienced manager. This is even his first serious management experience but he is already doing a very good work. This might be related to his experience in the Bundesliga as a footballer as well. But not all such managers are successful as a manager too of course - for example Lampard.
Maybe it is really difficult but Leverkusen can still increase their chance on finishing at a good position this season as long as they keep up a good form like this for a long time.
