I'm Wait for the final men's singles, Djokovic vs Medvedev. and, I'm from this year watching grand slam, I hear the news on last year (US Open 2020) he (Djokovic) got disqualified, what happen?

He accidentally hit a line umpire, so he was disqualified.

I have over 38.5 boosted @1.93 for the mens final. Then 3.05 for Medvedev to win ML. In any case that he will win against Djokovic, I reckon it will be in 5 sets so the over can also give me some win. And worst case scenario it can still be covered as well if Djokovic win.

Congrats to Raducanu, last time a British won the US Open, it was Andy Murray.
3162  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did you see the Tom Brady FTX Crypto Exchange Commercial Last Night? on: September 11, 2021, 11:43:46 AM
FTX has been having brand collaborations left and right lol. Just recently they partnered with Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry. They're definitely doing marketing A LOT better than Coinbase right now, though Coinbase is still definitely way ahead.

https://fortune.com/2021/09/07/nba-steph-curry-ftx-deal-cryptocurrency-platform/

Interesting, thanks for sharing.  This is certainly HUGE that cryptocurrency is getting this type of attention from big celebrities.  Especially a celeb like Tom Brady and having that commercial playing during the opening game of the NFL season where millions upon millions of people were watching.

Yeah, similar to what we have witnessed back in 2017's bull run. Many celebrities join the bandwagon, but it seems that this is different.

Do you know if FTX is a legit exchange? Or I guess I should ask, is it not corrupt as all hell like Coinbase is?

Only time can tell, but definitely it's good overall. We as traders have so many options right now. Not sure what you mean by Coinbase is corrupt, but there are many complains about them, like going down with we are in a massive spike to even manipulation. Hopefully FTX will be different though, a new face to challenge the status of Coinbase and Binance or any other derivatives exchange in the market right now.
3163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 11, 2021, 10:11:07 AM

You might call him brave for calling Inoue's, but for sure that is Casimero's goal, to get all the belts, and of course for the biggest pay check of his career. Rigo is done already, he beat the man who beat Donaire, that is already an accomplishment for him. for the Inoue fight, it will be different as both are willing to engage in the ring and both have knockout power and will not run against each other.

Pretty much I am really scared for Casimero, Inoue Is a serious monster, and I have seen a lot of his opponents crawling in pain because of that dangerous body shots, he really needs to train those abdomen of his for those shots, because it is a sure win for Naoya Inoue if he can not withstand those punches.

Inoue has really one of the most powerful body shots in this lower class, but I think Donaire take it and maybe Casimero too can absorb that blow in the money and not fold like what others did when they feel the power behind it. And it Inoue can give body shots, maybe Casimero too can give his own and try to get Inoue's reaction. So let's see if Casimero will just take it in stride or feel the body shots of Inoue because that one of his best weapon, a left hook to the body.

Gasol is back to his old team, that's good for him, the Grizzlies now have two big men who can help to improve their defense.

The young Grizz showed their grit during the last playoffs, I expect them to be better in the next season as they have a big man with playoffs experience and a champion as well.

hopefully, Gasol will be able to get his numbers back.

Gasol didn't perform well after being traded to Lakers, I remember him back during his prime, the dark-horse Grizzle always bring competitive games against a heavy favorite west team.

Yes, him and Zach Randolph that time was a beauty to watch, two bruiser and hard nose offensive player.

Now that he's back and with his old uniform, hopefully we will see him playing at his best, though he's already past prime his prime, but his good knowledge playing this game may add up with the young Ja and Brooks.

Together with Adams, Memphis can try to work it out using these twin towers. Knowing Gasol, he can play as power forward and even set up good plays for Morant, giving this young super star a much easier job.

He won't be playing in Memphis, for the Lakers, they have said a good chunk of money for trading Gasol, avoided a luxury tax penalties and make room for one more player that is willing to a 1 year contract.

At least Gasol now is closer to his family, he is already 36 years old, on the brink of his basketball prime or maybe based on his performance with the Lakers last season just averaging 5.0 ppg, also way past his best years.
3165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: September 11, 2021, 08:41:19 AM
Robson started out strong but he gave away the entire second half of the fight. When Valdez started to pressure him he just ran away or held but forgot about throwing punches. He used his height and reach very well early on but his strategy fell apart when he started getting hit. Valdez just edged out a win and after this performance and his positive test there is going to be a lot of doubts about him.

Honestly, the fight was close but as champion, he expectedly won the fight with that kind of movement from the challenger. Like the boxing speculators on youtube said, he should be more cautious and increase his punches until the end of the round but what can you expect when the champion has better experience and knows how to totally dominate him in the late rounds.

Valdez does increased his punch output from round 6 onwards, and this sway the judges in his favour. While Robson numbers went down, get deducted a point and then seems to be running out of gas in the championship rounds. If Robson would just stay active, he could have won some rounds that might put this fight in his favour or even a draw. But Valdez as you have said is the champion and his corner provided him with good advise as well. And as for the ban substance, it seems the Valdez is weight drain at 130 lbs, but if he moves to 135 lbs, there's a lot of sharks there. Teofimo Lopez, Ryan Garcia, Tank Davis, he wouldn't last with this bad mofo.
3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 11, 2021, 07:41:25 AM
Medvedev had problems only in the 2nd set and his opponent missed 2 set points, the 3rd and last set he clearly played home.

Djokovic had to go over 5 exhausting sets against Zverev and only won the 5th set clearly when it was 5:0.

The longer regeneration phase could be an advantage for Medvedev tomorrow.

Medvedev just dropped one set in the whole tournament if I'm not mistaken, he didn't drop one today against FAA. Just show's how tough or how strong Medvedev right now, so I lost my bet on this match because I thought that it will be over.

But for the Djokovic, it's a win for me at over, Djokovic mentally is really above the rest of the players right now. It was evident in the 5th set as he destroys Zverev totally and didn't give him any chance to make a comeback.

Finals is set, Djokovic vs Medvedev - Have Medvedev winning here in 5 gruelling sets.
3167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wrong to be a long term holder on: September 10, 2021, 10:11:18 PM
And being a long-term holder is a way that until now I have failed to withstand the temptations of the market. It seems that my soul is not the soul of a Holder, I envy my brothers even though they were taught by me to invest and hold crypto assets long term. But instead, I failed while the people I taught actually succeeded. The only regret is on my mind.

It takes a lot of practices and patience, you have to be mentally tough as well not to be tempted to sell when the price is high. But in any case, not that bad to take profits from time to time and then buy then continue to hold, that's also a good practice.

And for those who doesn't sell at its peaked, maybe they know that this coin is going to be worth ever higher in the future. The key thing here is timing, and then you also have your goals. So holding is not for everyone I guess.
3168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Oscar Valdez vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 10th on: September 10, 2021, 12:46:43 PM
^^ Most likely yes, this could end up in a draw but it's hard to predict who are going to win.

Just begs me the question, how is Valdez mind in this fight, he has been accused of using a ban substance and it might affect him psychologically in this fight.

So again, another good fight to watch this weekend depending on your timezone. We love to see another underdog pull an upset here.
3169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: September 10, 2021, 12:13:31 PM
Two pillow-fisted fighters? this will probably go to distance, Herring if I'm not mistaken has won recently so he is the most active between the two. But Shakur is coming up and the younger of the two. Herring doesn't have a good knock out ratio same as Shakur, but he is very technical boxer and he is tall. He will be the underdog in this fight, So I might be leaning towards him by a unanimous decision over Shakur.
3170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: September 10, 2021, 11:00:07 AM
^^ It's a huge gap for Silva here, it seems that bookies didn't give Tito a chance to win.

I'm not going to bet on this one though, my gambling capital has been spent on other games already. I know that you bet on Tito ML here if I'm not mistaken. But it's better to wait for more betting options for Silva here. Straight ML bet is obviously not very attractive.
3171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 10, 2021, 10:20:06 AM

IMO, if I'm the team owner, I would rather move him for a lesser value than seeing him struggle in a team because he doesn't want to play anymore, I mean his heart is not anymore in the team, so there's no way the team will succeed, and despite his talent, he could only become a liability of the team as he will not be as motivated as he was before.

But same sentiment with the post you just quoted, it's business and Sixers management is not willing to let him go without the same value they demand a lot for him, I just read an article that Cavs and Wolves are both interested but don't have that capabilities to provide the demand coming from Sixers management.

Even they are showing such interest without giving what being ask from them, there's no deal that will happen.

And like you, I would rather see him go with lesser value, and train players that will replace him, than keep him inside the team without any interest  giving help, it's worthless.

But at least they showed their interest, and with the number of offers, 76ers could potentially review the offers and will get the best among the teams that made an offer even if it's lower than what they are expecting. Having Ben Simmons on the team could be detrimental to the future of the team if they are not playing on the same page, the good relationship is very important to maintain, for his teammates and the team and it looks like it's not what is happening now.

Ben isn't going to be as detrimental as playing another point guard.  Anyone they get in return will.lower the technical quality.  The kid had a bad series for sure but cmon.  He isn't throwing in the towel.  You don't know the ins and outs of the dynamics.  Who is going to play point for Philly that will make them better without Ben?  Not much to go on.

I think what his saying is that if by chance Ben is still in the Sixers uniform this season, he may want to sit it out and doesn't want to play. Or if he plays, we won't see him pushing himself 100% as he had already a bad relationships with the management and players as well. I remember reading news that he is not answering any calls from the players including Joel. So I interpret it as animosity between Ben and his team mates already and it will not result to a good chemistry and locker room huddle.

He ain't sitting out.  Dude has  $33 million owed to him this year.  Mark my words if he is on the roster he will be on the 15 person roster.  I will take any bet on that one right there.  I get the point.  But this isn't old.  Kobe and Shaq "didn't get along".  Long history of teammates not getting along but when it's court time its time to go.

I'm not taking any bets mate, I'm just giving my opinion with regards to Ben's case. The Kobe and Shaq drama? we really don't know the real score for sure, and it's not even comparable to Kobe and Shaq.

Maybe he will sit out the duration of his contract and still being paid or maybe he will play and set aside his personal issues with the team.
3172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 10, 2021, 09:12:40 AM
Why do I feel like with Djokovic losing the first sets of some games, he tests his opponent with joy for a moment and then just takes it away from them? Anyways jokes apart Cheesy, Djokovic is just a beast. This is what he is. He just tears apart anyone in his way. Hoping that he would get the title.
I am thinking Zverev has this one in the bag despite all the success from Djokovic. He just seems in better form at the moment and I feel like his time has come.

That's also a big possibility, Zverev somewhat pulling one here from Djokovic, so over 38.5 for this match? I'm going to bet on this, if ever Zverev wins, it could be in 4 or 5 sets. I doubt he can get and win against Djokovic in 3 sets.

I am more interested in WTA at the moment. What a story it would be if we get two teenagers in the final. Keeping my fingers crossed for that outcome and placing a bet on Raducanu to win and Fernandez to cover 4.5 handicap.

It did, we are not going to see as two teenagers are going to face in the finals, Fernandez vs Raducanu, this is huge for the ladies side. Both are playing exceptionally well and it's very difficult to predict unless you are a fan of either one of them.

3174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 09, 2021, 10:39:29 PM

Moving up to another division since he already beats every champion from this weight.

I will also give some coins for Casimero ad he have that guts to throw many trash talks to get Inoue in this fight.

Worth to give him some spare as we don't know what he's capable of when meeting someone who he really wanted
to beat.

He also wants to get the attention and as one of the title holder he also has that skills that can beat much
dangerous and much famous champion.

It is funny how Casimero got Inoue's attention and that is because of his demeanor John Riel Casimero will always say what he really wants, and that fight with Guillermo Rigondeaux show's how brave of a fighter he is, by getting his aim on Rigondeaux the whole time this goes to show now his feistiness was very effective and in favor with the judges, and because of Guillermo Rigondeaux boring style, the favor of the judges goes with Casimero in how the way he fights, and with the Naoya Inoue fight I really like for him to never give up and to show what he really got.

You might call him brave for calling Inoue's, but for sure that is Casimero's goal, to get all the belts, and of course for the biggest pay check of his career. 3175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine to legalize cryptocurrencies > Bill passed 2nd reading on: September 09, 2021, 11:38:19 AM
^^ Yes, this one will be the case, legalised and then tax by the government. Still welcoming development to hear a country that is pro-crypto somewhere in Europe. So this is a win win, specially for Ukrainian who have been in crypto for so long because finally the the government are going to support it. And this is another case for developing countries to really adopt crypto, maybe we can call it sort of experiment  and then we see how it goes.
3176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 09, 2021, 10:42:54 AM
How strong Djokovic is, after losing the first set like the previous matches he immediately took three sets with convincing numbers, I bet on 9.5 overs in the first set and under 41.5.

That's how Djokovic are in this tournaments, it seems that he is willing to drop a set and then just overwhelm his opponent, the last 3 match of his has this pattern of dropping one set.

I got the Over 35.5 so I'm good. In the ladies, it was unpredictable, Raducanu upsets  Bencic and then Sakkari over Pliskova.
3177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 08, 2021, 01:43:43 PM

I'm also surprised that the management is also dragging this drama too long. They are not going to get the best or max deals for a player that couldn't shoot.

Perhaps no team is really taking the bait and that's why Sixers doesn't want to trade Ben and get B-players. But they are asking too much for a trade so it's a lose-lose situation for Sixers and Ben himself.
We cannot tell for sure but they probably passed on a lot of decent deals just to get the max offer. It will become a lose-lose for them if they prolong this ordeal. I think Ben's trade value will continue diminish as they approach the deadline.
They sure have a plan before the deadline, they are just looking for the best trades for now, and only if they find one will they will release Ben.

I think Ben Simmons is one of the best players in the NBA despite having bad performance in the last playoffs, but that was the only time where he struggle, prior to that, he was really contributing and especially in the regular season, so I believe the problem was the implementation of the game plan that time, it's not him as the coach knows his strength and weaknesses.

In defense of Ben, yes he is really good player, but that performance was really blown out of proportions. He really struggled in that series. Regular season vs playoff though is very different, that's why it was highlighted because he is doing very well in the regular season, even carry the team when Joel was absent. But in the playoff, it was very different, that he himself wanted to be traded.

And now there are rumours that the Cavs are interested of him. Ben Simmons trade rumors: Cavaliers still trying to acquire 76ers' All-Star, per report.
3178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto dip today on: September 08, 2021, 12:51:36 PM
As expected 10-15% dip happened to almost all coins.Im surprised to see XRP 15% dip, btc only 10%.

It's because BTC is the prime mover and everyone is still dependent on its price movement. So it dip today and the rest of the altcoins followed.

How far will it go down ? Huh

No one can really say exactly how far this dip will go, it dip at $43k, then rebounded to $47k for a few hours and now at mid $46k. So maybe we can see it trading sideways again as it is the case in the last couple of months and then bounce back again to $50k. So let's see how it pan out, but I would say that we are still in the bullish sentiments. This is just a minor set back and a correction due to several news.
3179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice 101 on: September 08, 2021, 12:19:10 PM
Wagering in dice can be a difficult aspect in dice games as newbies who don’t know how to set the wagering mechanism can lead to house advantage, which always causes constant losing dice.I hard my gambling mentor set the wagering number and amount to bet on that have steadily won in dice and place games. So a say dice skills are possible with the right instructor.

It's not that difficult to bet on dice.

Trial and error I guess will be your best strategy, see how it works for you, the amount of bet and then x number of spins. As dice is base on pure luck, so you have to put in mind that you will win some or lose some. If you think that you can always win, then that is a your perception of yours in gambling. Even your mentor will tell you that and for sure he has gone a lot of losing as well.
3180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin fall need a reason? on: September 08, 2021, 11:25:58 AM
Bitcoin fell sharply today, and then the media issued a number of bad news. Although it is not known whether it is directly related to the decline, the market sentiment is not good.

On the contrary, I think the market sentiments is still good, if you have been in the market for so long, you will understand how the news will affect the price.

When falling, people like to pay attention to negative news and when rising, pay attention to good news to find a reason for rising.

Of course, that is normal, we always look for reasons why the price is going down, attributed it to FUD and whales manipulating the price, to trading bots etc. Again, this is part of the market and it moves based on it, same when the price is going up as well. So if I'm a newbie, I will perhaps just buy in this dip and then hold, easy peasy.
