...
Well Alcaraz is somewhat what we call the current hype, so we think he can win all tournaments he entered. And against Kwon? of course we will expect him to win.
...

Match is live and it's clear there are no chances for Kwon to win.. immediately a break point on first set!
there is a big difference between those two players and Kwon come from a very bad loss streak.
He win with Paire here in BCN, I think this was already the top result for that tournament...

What's scary though is that Kwon won the second set at 6-2 score. Not sure if Alcaraz has mental lapses on that set. Not sure what are the handicap on this match, did Alcaraz cover though?

He got back on the 3rd set and won convincingly, Alcaraz shouldn't lose the second set, just saying.
2302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 20, 2022, 06:25:31 PM
It was a balanced attack, the big problem of the Suns in that game is their defense on Ingram, they know that Ingram is the main scorer of the team and yet they allow him to have a good shooting night.

Ingram scored   37 points from 61% shooting, that was too easy for him, without a good defense, no way the Suns would beat a defensive team like the Bucks and the Heat, or even the Warriors.
But I think the Suns' can still win that game if Booker was not injured. They are letting Ayton and CP3 and that hot guy who scored 31 in the first half have their rest even though their lead is fading away.
All of it will matter at the endpoint of the game when Ingram and McCollum are too exhausted to score or even defend. I think that's one of the key factors in why the Suns are a successful team. Deep bench. If the party led by Payne which is the 2nd unit could just prevent the Pelicans from being in the lead they will win the next minutes with fresh stars and will do the damage at full blast.
Now we wait for the adjustments, a big one without Booker. The Warden should try defending Ingram.

That is the big question though, the Pelicans is chipping on their lead and then get on the driving seat. But they didn't change anything, no subs from the coach. Maybe he is confident that they can make a comeback in the 4th even without Booker. But it was a mistake, he should have put the starting 5 minus Booker in the last minute of the 3rd quarter to stop the bleeding and not give the Pelicans the advantage and confident. But it was too late then for the Suns, mental lapses from Monty Williams here.
2303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IPhone users using Trust wallet on: April 18, 2022, 10:31:46 AM
No one is safe if they are using to used their mobile phones as crypto wallets, or at least for storing used amount. So regardless it's Iphone or Android phone, the risk is always there.

It's really up to use to have a good security hygiene if we are going to used our mobile phones. Rule of thumb is not to connect to any public wifi obviously.
2304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 18, 2022, 09:45:50 AM
^^ We can't really say for certain, what if it will be a different version of Pacman who also showed up against Spence in that fight?

So definitely that's a lot of 'IF' and questions if that fight push through and who will eventually win.

But for now, Spence is in the top of the welterweight division now with this huge win against Ugas and the way he defeated him, not seeing anyone that can touch him, not even Crawford in my opinion.
2305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 18, 2022, 03:56:34 AM
Under four minutes remaining in the Suns vs. Pelicans game but I'm calling it now as a win for the Suns. I'm just waiting if they win by double digits for my bet Grin

CP3 was just too good for them from scoring, assisting, and then stealing. I hope he gets a triple double (1 assist short at the moment). Add to that the support of Booker and the rest of the team. edit: he got his 10th assist.

They did cover the spread if I'm not mistaken, 11 point win and the initial handicap for them is -10.5.

CP3 though, is the X factor in this game 1, when the Pelicans are making a comeback at the end of the 3rd and start of the 4th, he hits back to back 3's, has an assist, steal and had some intelligent play that caught his defender off-guard. That's what CP3 can bring to this team, experience and basketball IQ.
2306  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on recent bull market, will it be over soon? on: April 17, 2022, 10:18:29 PM
Just a good point raise by the OP, so the main lessons during crypto's bull run, you can take your profit but please don't waste any of that profit very easily otherwise you won't sustain that lifestyle or at least be smart and put that money to good used or reinvest on some properties. Because as what he mentioned, once the bull run is over, which he said, it's going hard for us who experience a good returns of our investment and yearning for more. But what happens? we are in a bear trend and we can make the same profit as in the bull run.
2307  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: April 17, 2022, 03:17:06 PM
^^ I also don't understand the logic behind 'casino making great money than politician'? doesn't make sense if this is the issue for them going up against online casinos. There could be a lot of reasons.

I would understand if it is because of their religion as Indonesia is predominantly a Muslim country. So it has something to do with that and not politics.

@mu_enrico - thanks for the info, or it can loosely be translated as '8 ball' as well?
2308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 17, 2022, 01:51:05 PM
^^ I guess it's better for her to take a break and let that injury heal first before making a comeback, otherwise it will just haunt her down and maybe it will have a toll on his mind and body and won't be able to get back to her old form. Maybe it was the 'curse' of the US Open for women, or just maybe bad luck on her side for having that blisters on her hand.
2309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 17, 2022, 12:59:20 PM
Playoffs time. Smiley

here's my pick for the coming games. Not going to pick at least 1 game a day, this time I'll be adding some spice and let's see if we can be profitable.
So here it is.

Brooklyn Nets ML and +4
Suns -10.5
Heat -6.5

GL Everyone!

I'll probably tail you on the Suns game here. This is playoff already so for sure Booker and CP3 are going to step up, -10.5 might be high, but I think they can manage it since they are healthy again.

I also like the Nets chances against the Celtics, but I'll probably go with the live betting instead and see how Durant and Irving will do in the early going.
2310  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: April 17, 2022, 12:24:47 PM
To what extent is the online  slot game machine RTP reliable based on it's technology?

As words in the street has it that it has gained so much popularity than other casino games due to it's simplicity nature.

Let's discuss, what's your view.

Online slot game machine's RTP will not be disclosed by the online gambling company as this would definitely backfire immediately. If players know the odds of a certain slot machine in a gambling website, chances are that they would avoid playing on such; ultimately costing the business of the owner of such gambling website.

I am not sure about this but I think there are some gambling sites that are too transparent with their players and include the RTP around somewhere in the game or website and I think it is not good to hide the RTP to they players they need to know it as a player of the game.

I think in Las Vegas, slot machines RTP are need to be disclosed by the operators by law. I'm not sure about online casinos though, but based on my experience, I see them doing the same as per regards of the RTP. And nowhere we see it backfire on the gambling sites. Still a win-win situation for them regardless if players are aware of RTP or not. They just wanted to enjoy the slot machine and more willing to put money on that machine and play.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 16, 2022, 06:23:42 PM

I haven't thought of betting on the "DRAW", but looking at the odds, that attracts me. I would consider putting some money on the "DRAW" result, who knows, if this will be a close fight, remath could be possible, and the anticipated fight between Spence and Crawford will be delayed.

And once luck permits you to win, that would be a very nice odd for you.

Not sure if that may happen since Spence is a very aggressive fighter. If he manages to break Ugas, defense he will not stop
to keep throwing solid punches, Ugas though on the other hand needs not just to wait for a counter but instead he needs
also to create his own attack, surprising Spence that he's not just good for countering but also with attacking and aiming
for a solid conversion.

It could be a stylistic match up for Spence, nevertheless if he can stay aggressive then he can win in the judges scorecard.

I don't see him breaking down the defense of Ugas, he is a defensive fighter, what Spence can do is try to impress the judges with his aggressive every round. As I don't see him winning by a knock out against a defensive fighter. And I'm feeling that we are going to see a more well balance Spence in this fight, a better version of him.
2312  Economy / Economics / Re: WTF? Food prices expected to raise up to 50% in German supermarket. on: April 16, 2022, 05:47:18 PM
Without a doubt, all our actions have some unintended consequences, even if we admit the sanctions against Russia were necessary this will make the alliance between Russia and China even stronger than it was in the past and it will weaken the system in which the dollar is the reserve currency of the world.

If at some point countries holding huge reserves of dollars think there is the slightest possibility the system is at risk then they will begin to spend their dollars on anything they can buy, producing massive inflation, especially at the United States.

At this point, China and Japan are the two countries who hold the largest amount of USD in their forex reserves. After witnessing what happened to Russia, I guess China will be moving towards replacing some of these reserves with other currencies, or with bullion metals such as gold or platinum. Russia already converted a part of their reserves to gold many years ago, and currently they are benefitting massively from it. Anyway, China has been planning the invasion of Taiwan for some time now, and they are closely monitoring what is happening in Ukraine.
China is without a doubt watching what is happening at Ukraine with deep interest since it is not a secret they have their own designs at Taiwan, however if they decided to actually go through them the world will be in a complete chaos.

If the US and their allies tried to do something similar to what they are doing against Russia, China could implement sanctions that would also cripple them economically so I am not so sure that anyone would take the risk to sanction China under that scenario.

US has already imposed sanctions on China if I'm not mistaken during the time of Trump and we did feel the impact of it, before the pandemic.

And yes, the China-Russia relationship is deep, China not willing to fall into the pressures of the West to talk to Russia to stop the war, on the contrary, China thinks that it was NATO that drove Russia to attack Ukraine. Maybe China was displeased by the Russian's invasion, but it seems that they cover Russia's back because they have the same enemy, the US and it's allies.
2313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 16, 2022, 05:13:31 PM
I do not think it makes any difference, if Canelo were to lose to Bivol would GGG be less interested in fighting Canelo at that point? I do not think so, and what about Canelo? He may even need the fight as a way to recover some of the reputation that he would lose under that scenario and then challenge Bivol again, this is why the victory of GGG was the key for the fight to happen, as a defeat at that point could have allowed Canelo to avoid him by claiming GGG was a shadow of his former self.

The point is not that GGG is less interested, but Canelo sees no point of making a third fight against GGG. For Canelo, GGG is already a beaten opponent. If Canelo looses to Bivol, I dont think fighting against GGG will be a recovery. Some might disagree, but I think that will be a step back for Canelo. Canelo would have gained, fame, if he would fight GGG if not same year, but at least in GGG. I think GGG will box for next few years only, maximum till 43. Only fans are interested in Canelo vs GGG third fight, but not both boxers.
Maybe Canelo thinks that way, but the fans do not and the fans matter, there are many fans that saw GGG winning at least one of those fights against Canelo and many are not happy with what happened with the judges, if Canelo did not cared at all about this then the fight with GGG would be completely out of his mind, but since that is not the case then we need to wonder why is that the case? And the most likely answer is that Canelo wants to show the fans that he can indeed beat GGG without leaving any room for doubt.

The fight is very controversial and for many years, Canelo has been haunted by it. Boxing writers continue to ask him why he didn't want to give GGG a third fight. And maybe he wanted to show who the real winner is but facing him in the trilogy. But we can talk about it later once he settled and win against his tougher opponent in Bivol next month.
2314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 16, 2022, 04:39:52 PM
I also didn't understand how Rondo, with his experience, didn't get the exposure he needed specially in the 4th quarter.

But the Hawks can't really be denied in this season, they struggled early and just try to keep phase and was able to get into the play-in. This team was really carried by Trae Young with good supporting role players. But they good their hands full against the Heat in the first round.
2315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price of Bitcoin still in such a state? on: April 16, 2022, 01:06:14 PM
Why is the price of Bitcoin going downhill? I kept saying for two or three months that the marketplace will be better by this time and the price of bitcoin will move forward. But my idea is wrong. Experienced people will share your opinion on why the price of Bitcoin is in such a state.

Not sure where you get the idea that bitcoin will be better? I mean we have reach an all time high last November and after that, we retraced to lows of $30k'ish. If you haven't know by now, bitcoin works on cycle and it seems that we have entered a bearish trend since the start of the year. So it's better to really not to expect something big otherwise you might get frustrated. The best thing to do is to take advantage of the dip and accumulate.
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mentioned on a ongoing Netflix series Queen of the south on: April 15, 2022, 10:32:25 PM
Queen of the south
an action/drama show on netflix  who'd
got chosen for the best prime-time series at imagen awards
Mentioned bitcoin on how busy its network has @S3;O3

Good, but I'm no surprise at all, as bitcoin is evidently becoming more 'famous' right now, it's just about time that movies tv shows are going to mentioned it.

Nevertheless one might think that this is a good exposure again for us. If this is 2017, I might believed though, but in the last 4-5 years, bitcoin has been slowly creeping under the rug of mainstream media.
2317  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Virgil Griffith sentenced to 63 months for helping DPKR avoid sanctions on: April 15, 2022, 06:03:10 PM
Why did he get 5 years in prison?
For saying that cryptocurrencies are not subject to US sanctions and for the photo next to the inscription "No sanctions". This is a common political case to intimidate their own citizens.

Well we can speculate that maybe this is the first time that he recklessly breaks the law by the US.

So 5 years, he has a lot of thinking in jail if it's worth to even try to help North Korea or will he do it again after he gets out of prison to make another "political move". But by that time then, everything has change already.
2318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: April 15, 2022, 05:25:54 PM
^^ From what I observed on Bivol's training videos in preparation on this fight, he seems to be very agile at his weight, uses a lot of feet, in and out and maybe this will be his strategy. But as you have said, can he maintain this during the duration of this fight? what if Canelo found a way to slow him down just like in the Caleb Plant fight wherein in the middle of fight, Canelo got his rhythm, and then slowly takes over the fight.
2319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 15, 2022, 12:27:26 PM
^^ Still a surprised though that Alcaraz was booted out by Korda, but the match was intense and I thought that Alcaraz can survived this round. But Korda can't be deny though.
...

they both played a high intensity match and in the first two sets they always went to play tie break.
Personally I believe that Alcaraz young age is still evident.
Against savvy or more experienced players it is not the first time that he has struggled to impose himself, just matter of time to see him dominate the field Roll Eyes !?

Experience is still a big factor in tennis and i think he is really missing it. He won a big tournament and came to the next big one and lost in the first round. That is dissapointing,we see this always in women tennis but not always in mens tennis. Also i think he even didnt prepare much for the clay season

Yes, usually we seen this in the women's side, but maybe Alcaraz body is not yet prime for this kind of grueling tennis run specially in clay season.

Still lot of tennis in Monte Carlo.

Fokina's run is still continuing as he will be facing Fritz in the quarterfinals.

This one is good, Sinner vs Zverev and Tsitsipas vs Schwartzman.

I will be betting on the Over again for the Fokina match against Fritz, Over 22.5 at 1.89.

And then on the Zverev vs Sinner, maybe I will go with the underdog Sinner 2.6 ML.

Tsitsipas vs Schwartzman - Over 21.5 at 1.86.

I might tail on the the Tsitsipas match, I'm seeing Schwartzman pushing Tsitsipas here.

Fokina winner against Fritz, and it was a 3 setter so the over is a win, good job. Fokina losing the first 1st set but come back strong in the last 2 sets to steal a win again.

Dimitrov vs Hurkacz, no bet for me in this game, but by the looks of it, this is close and could go on a 3 sets as well.
2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microstrategy shareholders letters that more bitcoin would still be bought on: April 15, 2022, 11:50:13 AM
The good thing about them is they don't dump and tweet some negative comments after it as the known billionaire does.

It's because Saylor is bullish on bitcoin and will continue to be like that as he sees opportunity on it.

It's really good to see such a company keep buying bitcoins, adding to their wallets despite all of these nonstop critics. They know what the future brings so they keep buying it and they already know that the supply will be scarce in the years to come. By the time the people realize that they, in reality, bitcoins are what they need, Microstrategy will take the last laugh.

He has his narrative behind and no one can dictate him. Yes, he could be one of those visionary who thinks ahead of time, sort of paranoid but in a good way because if everything falls into pieces and bitcoin hits 6 digits in the future, Saylor and Microstrategy will be one of the biggest winner.
